Burger House in Trier

Burgers are awesome. Simply perfect. But what I find really stupid is that the mayo dispenser is no longer there and you have to pay for extra mayo. Especially because the portion you get with the burger is just ridiculously small and is enough for maybe 5-8 fries. Mayo really isn't that expensive and that's why a change like that really annoys me a lot. It was always a reason for me to go to Burger House because I knew they had great fries with enough mayo to make you feel good. Very, very unfortunate. Really ask to change that.

Really good burger (fresh chicken), freshly prepared, well seasoned, very juicy fried fillet. Fries are also really good and fresh, not so dripping greasy.

Was in town for a day and stumbled upon Burger House by chance. And I have to say, I don't regret being there. I had the Cheasy Crisp Burger with sweet potatoes and loved it! The burger comes with an additional, breaded cheese patty with delicately melting cheese. All in all, the burger is quite powerful but super tasty! Unfortunately, the house lemonade was a bit too sweet, but I diluted it with mineral water, which made it easier for me to enjoy. But if you like sweets, just drink it straight. I'll definitely be back, great atmosphere and nice conditions.

Burgers are absolutely delicious. But it closed at 10 p.m. instead of 11 p.m. Very unfriendly response from the apparent owner when asked. Disappointing...

We ordered the lunch menu, which consisted of a burger, fries and a house drink. It was great! The burgers were very tasty and the service was very friendly. There could have been a little more ketchup/mayo. Value for money was excellent! The restaurant is stylish and clean. Came very hungry, left full and satisfied. Keep it up!

We had super tasty burgers with homemade fries. Only the mayo & ketchup portion could have been larger, but overall we found it very tasty. The in-house iced tea is also great. The ambience looks very modern and rustic at the same time.

The burgers were fantastic! Since a Bruger shop now opens on every corner, not all burgers are good. But this one was definitely too hot! Fresh vegetables, fast service and the homemade lemonade AND the fries! So crispy and delicious. Definitely recommended!!!!

Absolutely fantastic burgers!! This is what it used to be like in the U.S., but you'll be hard-pressed to find it anymore over there. Had the Cheezus on day 1 of my visit, and the Kevin Bacon on day 2. Definitely arrive very hungry for the former, as it is 240g of meat. The Cheazy-E looked great as well, as it appears to be a scaled-down version of the Cheezus, in case you aren't as hungry for the Cheezus. Staff was friendly, and though busy, were attentive. Food arrived fast, too, which was a pleasant surprise. Tip: you will not need to order a side of fries if you get a burger, which is included, and is generous and perfectly-prepared. Atmosphere is great, and one thing we all commented on, was that we felt we had adequate space from other tables, which was also a plus. Plenty of seating outside as well. If I were to make any recommendation to the establishment, it would be a slightly better beer list, though this is certainly not a deal-breaker. The radler offered was refreshing, and the Aperol got high marks as well...but I did wonder what it would be like to have these amazing burgers paired with a fine German rauchbier or a schwarzbier. I am returning to town for Christmas, and I intend to try the other offerings on the menu.

Food was cold and reservation didn't work at all. The table was occupied on site. Emergency solution was sitting in the draft and there was still discussion about closing the door so that you no longer sit in the draft.

I've been a customer for a long time and I have to say that I have the feeling that the burgers have become smaller. They are still super tasty but in my opinion you can expect more for the price. What doesn't work at all, however, is the following. Ordered Fat Joe (20€), I wanted to order down the bacon and put some lettuce and tomatoes on it - they wanted an extra charge for that! For one leaf of lettuce and two slices of tomato! Same with the fries. The portion is huge - cool. The portion of mayo for this is gone with two fries. Here, too, they wanted an extra charge for some additional mayonnaise. Honestly. If someone leaves you 25/30€ for a burger with drinks, please just give them the damn mayonnaise and some greens on the burger dock

The food was very good, but the coke glass was dirty, so there was a white layer on the edge of the glass that you could scrape off, so that it was in the drink. The staff was then very friendly and brought me a new glass and I didn't have to pay for the drink.

The ambience and food are really awesome! We've eaten there every time we've visited Trier. However, last week it was so unpleasant that we decided to eat here for the last time. When we ordered, the ladies sat on the table to take our order. I'm sorry, but the brunette lady with glasses probably didn't have the distance... when I reported back to her later that the high chairs for the children were very dirty and it would be good if someone would be kind enough to clean them, she was annoyed. Not even a “goodbye” came from her lips. Everyone else was very attentive and friendly. Maybe just a bad day? I don't know it. But hygiene is a must. Every child deserves a clean space, just like every adult. There really is still room for improvement.

Great little BurgerHouse with one of the best fries ever. Real potato!!! Unevenly cut, beautifully lousy peeled so you can see the potato skin on the friest, enhancing their realness. No, this is not sarcasm, trully great fries! Has myself a Slim Shady, great with halapenos that aren't too spicy. They ask you how you want your meat done, that's a big plus, waiters speak english, that's a big plus, outside chairs aren't as comfortable for bigger people but whaddya gonna do bout it, right? Anyways, definitely try it out. For all the old school rap afficionados - check out the burger names! Interier is well designed and jolly. Good stuff!

Great burger shop, top quality food. There are steps in the location, but only a few. Children's chairs available. Parking is available in the parking garage nearby. When the weather is nice you can sit outside. Disabled toilet available. Service excellent, friendly and attentive. Reservation recommended.

Burger House was my second choice for my dinner. The first choice had no cook to make the food. When I arrived, the place was pretty much empty. It has a high rating on google. So, I thought to try it out. I ordered a large beer and a burger. The beer was refreshing, and the burger I got was juicy and delicious. The fries were hand cut, so they stated on their menu. I could not find an option to leave the fries. I can't eat a burger and fries together. It is just too much. I have one suggestion for the food. When cooking beef burgers medium, let them rest for a while. When I got the burger, it was dripping meat juices into my fries. Now, I didn't eat the fries, but if I would, the soggy ones would take away from the nice work the chef did to cut and fry those fries. It also ruins the taste and crunchiness. What I disliked was the service. One server in particular seemed to have a taste for his guests. Where the other one was friendly and helpful, the other one ignored me completely. I sat at the table for about 20 minutes with an empty glass. I would have liked another refreshing beer. But nobody came to ask. My glass was empty, the burger plate was gone, and that was it. No more service. I had to go inside to pay. This is not a problem, but combined with the rest, I think this is bad service. It was not busy either. Couple tables in and outside. I wonder if it is because I am one person. Maybe they thought that my clientele is not worth it. I don't know, but ignoring is just a bad way to serve your guests. At least the burger tasted good.

Burger okay but nothing special either

We (4 adults and 3 children) were there 5 minutes early and asked if we could sit outside and wait. "NO!" said the waitress. We would have liked to try the restaurant. Too bad.

We order a burger in the evening. Even if the burgers are delicious, it can't be that I don't get what I ordered. The first time I complained about the delivery. Thanks to Uber eats, it's not that easy at all, because a correction order is not possible without paying the price again. The employees were kind enough to provide me with one free of charge, but only if I picked it up myself. Great if you actually ordered for delivery. Now exactly the same error today. My order didn't match what I received. I can only recommend that everyone else check the food they ordered when receiving the delivery and if necessary. not to accept. About the on-site service. Keller are nice and polite. Prices ok. Ambience is also good. Given the circumstances, points are deducted.

Burger sind in Ordnung, jedoch stimmt für mich Preis/Leistung nicht mehr. Zum Burger gibt es eine relativ kleine Menge Handcutfries, die zwar sehr lecker, aber meinem letzen Besuch wirklich extrem salzig waren (kann passieren) außerdem je ein äußerst kleines Behältnis mit Ketchup und Mayo. Für Studierende und Schüler gibt es ein Mittagsmenü, welches wesentlich attraktiver ist. Service ist schnell und freundlich. Das Restaurant ist nett eingerichtet, man sitzt drinnen und draußen gemütlich. Für mich gibt es in Trier bessere Burger-Alternativen.

Able to find our large group a table. There were great choices on the menu. Everyone enjoyed their food. The burgers were juicy and cooked perfectly. Wish we stayed longer in Trier to go back again.

We had not made a reservation, but there was plenty of room outside, so we were allowed to sit. It took a really long time before someone came to us to ask if we wanted to order something. There were several Milkshakes on the menu, but they didn't have any. Scandalous in the summer. But I ordered a burger anyway, which also took a very long time to be delivered. We really felt left out and will certainly not go there again. Especially when you see the prices, you at least expect some service.

Unfortunately, the vegetarian plant-based alternative didn't taste good at all. The burger was soaked with too much sauce. The man in service also reacted a bit snidely when I had questions when ordering. Unfortunately a bit disappointing for such a price. Won't come anymore.

Many thanks to my teachers for taking me to Trier. Many thanks to fate, which has satisfied me and my senses forever. Thank you for this supernatural experience. The 5 star limit is an insult. This restaurant deserves 25.
