⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An absolute delight! The food was outstanding – fresh, lovingly prepared, and perfectly balanced in flavor. The service was attentive and warm; you feel welcome from the very first moment. I'd especially like to commend the owner: incredibly friendly, warm-hearted, and with genuine passion for her restaurant. We wish there were more places like this. We will definitely be back and can wholeheartedly recommend dean&david in KL! Yes

The food was good, everything was fresh. It also looked healthy. The taste was a bit bland. I would recommend more sauce.

I'm really impressed, and Dean and David is my favorite go-to restaurant. The food has always been fresh and delicious, whether I buy it regularly or order it from Too Good to Go.

I can 100% recommend this shop. The whole team is super friendly, and Charlotte, in particular, is super sweet, accommodating, and makes incredibly delicious bowls. The food is generally delicious, offers great value for money, and all the ingredients are always fresh, as if picked straight from the field. You can also order a vegan version of everything, which is another plus. The cappuccino also tastes like the original Italian one! And the new strawberry matcha is divine. If you don't go here, you're definitely missing out!

I've been a regular here for quite some time now, and I have to say: things have improved quite a bit in the last few months. You can tell there are new employees; even as an employee, you should understand that not everything can always run perfectly and quickly. It's also become friendlier, and you simply feel more valued as a customer. Keep it up, I'll remain a regular customer!

Unfortunately, this place has really gone downhill. The service is completely overwhelmed and orders are often made incorrectly. That can happen occasionally, but the food arrives cold, and when you ask why the sandwich and wrap are clear, you're simply told it was on the grill (it has no browning whatsoever and is cold). Waiting times are also a real issue here; you can easily wait 40 minutes.

I highly recommend it, I often come to eat here and it is always a guarantee, fresh food and a wide selection of vegetarian and vegan foods, a welcoming place, the staff is super attentive to customer needs and very friendly. 5 stars deserved.

A disastrous experience at Dean & David in Kaiserslautern. The rice was completely hard – absolutely inedible. As if that wasn't bad enough, the bowl was sealed so poorly that the entire meal spilled out into the bag. Everything was contaminated, a huge mess. There was no trace of enjoyment. If this had been my first visit to Dean & David, I would have thought the place was generally awful. This branch is a joke – absolutely not recommended.

So the food is great, no question, but the service is simply abysmal. You order two hours in advance for a specific time and get a call 15 minutes before delivery: "Yeah, we haven't thawed the meat, can we deliver chicken instead?" which would just cost less, but apparently a refund isn't possible. So I'm supposed to pay for you forgetting to take the meat out of the freezer? You've got to be joking. 🤣 Just pathetic. And it's not the first time. The food is constantly late, items are missing, and you only get a refund if you go to the branch in person and meet the manager. But I mean, what can you expect with the staff who work there sometimes? You go into the shop, stand around for five minutes, and you can forget about anyone answering your "hello"—it's apparently impossible while they're working in the kitchen.

Very nice, tidy and clean store. Super delicious food and extremely friendly service rounded off this visit! :)

Sat, Jan 18, 2026, 5 p.m. in KL, pedestrian zone 3 bowls to go with really bad, unfriendly service (light-skinned young woman) We couldn't even get our desired sauces for the bowls, which were quite expensive. “This is not usual,” they said. It was always possible at this and other locations. Okay, maybe she was just in a bad mood, but then please call in sick.

Staff without any courtesy, are unable to communicate with the guest or serve them... There was a problem with the computer, I was abruptly directed to the machine, but it didn't work either, the waitress stayed behind the counter, She didn't care that I ended up without food... She didn't apologize!

Food is good .Service is very bad. Ordered again today and the sauces are missing. The last few times sauces were missing or swapped. When we called and complained, the employee seemed annoyed and we waited in vain for an apology. The sauces were reordered and weren't there after over 45 minutes. That was definitely the last time we ordered there!!!

Dean and David to No. 1. 1000 points. Always super fresh and bombastically delicious. And it's healthy too. I love the bowls, green machine and the carot cake. How incredibly delicious it all is. I can only recommend it to everyone.

The food was OK, although very expensive for what you end up with. However, the delivery was a disaster, it was initially stated to take 30 minutes and then it was extended again and again, after an hour 45 minutes the food arrived, delivered by a very slow employee who didn't even say "You too" when you asked him wish you a nice day.

Went to dean&david in Kaiserslautern yesterday and were very positively surprised. No comparison to before. Staff super friendly and accommodating.

We were in business last week. The food was great. We waited a little longer, but it was still ok. We liked the facility.

Very unfriendly staff, the worst Dean and David store I have visited. And I will never do it again. Dirty and uninviting.

A real dirty shop. The girl behind the counter used a very dirty plate for my salad, see photos. The pasted-on old dirt could not only be seen and felt from the outside of the shell, but also from the inside. I also always go to Dean & David, no matter what city I am in and I ask myself, why does the salad I order look completely different than in Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne or Munich? I can't recommend the store and won't set foot in here again! I put the plate back on the counter as it came without touching it and left the store! NEVER AGAIN!

I'm often there for work, but what also appeals to me personally is the beautiful atmosphere in the guest room. You can also see it in the pictures. I can personally recommend the avocado halloumi salad, or alternatively the Paris salad. Acai Sunrise with your smoothie! Everything is super delicious!

Ordered via Lieferando. A drink was not included, but when I asked I was assured that the money for the drink would be refunded. That hasn't happened to date. But food tastes great.

When you order, you cannot get any changes, although there is a special space for this online, when you pick it up you find out that the special requests cannot be taken into account. And why not? The answer is: things are completely packed and no changes are possible. That's a thing - they advertise that everything is freshly prepared, but that's not true. Everything is pre-packaged… If I want something like that, I can go to McDonald’s straight away! This means that no dietary restrictions can be taken into account, which is not possible at all in my opinion! And the great thing is that you're only told when you pick it up - but as an allergy sufferer you're in good hands... No, that was the last time!

Very long waiting time, rice for the curry dish was still hard, not necessarily edible... Very disappointing for this price (>10 euros).

I got a salad with salmon there. There was a beetle in the salad. That wasn't appetizing. I left it and left. The salmon was no longer nice and pink, but looked slightly spoiled. Food inspectors should take a look here.

Before I found out I had celiac disease, I ate here often, but I'm disappointed by the selection of gluten-free bowls. At least the allergens are clearly labeled on a separate sheet (you have to ask or look online), but there are few gluten-free options. However, the gluten-free raspberry brownies are very tasty.

My first visit here. I'm really excited and downloaded the app straight away. I hope to have coupons available here soon. Price/performance ratio is right, but if I can eat there a little cheaper I will go there more often. It was just great! I bought quinoa straight away.

Das Essen ist wirklich top. Alles frisch lecker und gesund. Auch das Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Jetzt der dicke Minuspunkt: Die Belüftung des Ladens. 5 Minuten im Laden und die Kleidung stinkt nach essen. Im Laden riecht es nach fett und teilweise steht der Qualm in der Luft. In anderen Restaurants mit offener Küche ist das technisch viel besser gelöst. Also Fazit nur noch zum liefern bestellen oder to Go.

Ich esse häufig dort in meiner Mittagspause. Das Essen ist immer sehr lecker und der Service ist gut. Das einzige, was mittlerweile mau ist, ist die Auswahl. Wo sind bspw. die Currys hin, die andere Filialen noch anbieten. Die vermisse ich sehr.

Wir kommen hier regelmäßig zur Mittagspause und werden nie enttäuscht :-)

Wir hatten eine Bowl, Teriyaki und eine mit Ziegenkäse, waren beide extrem lecker und haben super satt gemacht, leider mit knapp 12€ nichts günstiges, als Menü 2€ mehr, also mit Getränk dann. Wenn man sich es leisten kann, würde ich es empfehlen.

Ich gehe sehr oft dort essen. Die Salate sind sehr lecker! Mein Liebling ist der Grilled Beef Salat. Das personal war auch sehr freundlich und der Laden macht ein sauberen Eindruck. 😊

Naja, es war enttäuschend. Vor 2 Monaten waren wir in Saarbrücken und es war einfach mega lecker. Auch wieder die Budda Bowl gegessen, absolut enttäuschend. Gemüse war schwarz vom Braten. Zuwenig Sauce und nicht liebevoll angerichtet. Personal auch nicht wirklich freundlich.

Ich werde nicht mehr hingehen. Die Wartezeiten sind teilweise lang. Meine (extra bezahlte) Zusatzoption hat gefehlt. Und es war ein Haar in meiner Bowl.

Das Essen ist lecker aber Besteck fehlt immer bei der Lieferung. Wenn man nachhause bestellt ist es kein problem, aber sonst ziemlich nervig.

Das Essen war unglaublich lecker und es war offensichtlich, dass es mit viel Liebe und Sorgfalt zubereitet wurde. Die Bedienung war auch außergewöhnlich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Jeder Mitarbeiter, mit dem ich interagierte, war nett, aufmerksam und professionell.

Traumhafter Himbeere-Mandel-Brownie und die Bowl war auch soooo lecker! Leider etwas preislich hoch, aber man kriegt echt ne gute Mahlzeit serviert

Love the food but they close earlier than posted business hours. Just came by on a Saturday at 6:35 pm and they wouldn’t take our order because they were already “closed” even though the sign on the door said they’re open until 7 pm.
