I ordered a food rescue bag from Tom Good to Food today and got lucky. Inside was a bowl of rice, chicken, peanut sauce (I think), and red cabbage salad. Absolutely delicious. There was also a sandwich included, which my husband will try later.

I bought a Bircher muesli; it tasted okay, but the pomegranate seeds on top were spoiled. Value for money: so-so: small muesli €5

This weekend, I bought a "Savior Bag" from Too Good to Go for the first time. I won't do that again. The bag contained a falafel salad. Okay, for €5, it was okay, but nothing more. But the value of €15 doesn't reflect reality at all. It was a salad bowl made of 90% green salad. Four or five small falafel, dressing, that was it. The sweet potatoes, which are supposed to be part of this salad, weren't in it. There was also a small piece of cake. We definitely don't have Dean and David anymore.

Coffee and Cappuccino bitter, sitting at the disgustingly dirty tables was not a nice rest!! Staff sitting close and ignoring beer cans standing on the ground etc.

While I ate a sandwich at Back-Werk, my wife ate a vegetarian wrap at D&D, which she really enjoyed and which definitely had fish in the display

Sorry, but what was that? Absolute chaos during the ordering process. The waiters wanted to hurry up and took orders even though the others weren't finished yet, resulting in so many mistakes. Paying was absolutely terrible because I was given incorrect bills, there was no room to reach the scanner, and then I couldn't get through to the cutlery. And I really didn't like the veggie buddha bowl at all.

D&D is our favorite food chain, but unfortunately, this restaurant was a complete disappointment in terms of hygiene and food. It was tasty, but some pieces of meat were raw inside. The staff tried to convince us that this wasn't the case, and my goat cheese salad was just thrown onto the plate, with dirt everywhere.

I got a latte macchiato with oat milk here. Unfortunately, it didn't taste good at all: the oat milk wasn't foamed properly, so my coffee was already cold... (I didn't dare say anything, unfortunately) and there was no taste of espresso, and the (cold) oat milk didn't taste good either; I had to throw it away after a few sips and got something else instead...

I had a chicken terriyaki bowl to go; the food was tasty and came quickly. It was perfect for traveling and a great meal on the train.

Have you ever tried the wraps yourself? Absolutely impossible.

It's not entirely clear what they mean by "warming it up." The wrap was ice cold inside, and essentially inedible.

The wrap was very tasty and filling, but it was cold inside even after being warmed up. The espresso macchiato was simply watery and disgusting and tasted like cheap coffee. Very disappointing for €3.55. I wouldn't buy any more hot drinks here.

We were passing through and, hoping for the usual Dean & David quality, picked up a takeaway. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The 'Paris Salad' consisted of two wafer-thin slices of bell pepper, five grapes, and three small pieces of goat cheese. The nuts were completely missing. The two slices of bread were so thin you could see through them—and so dry they crumbled in your hand. For €13, this simply isn't justified. It's a shame—we would have expected more quality and care.

Convincing concept, it's nice to be able to buy familiar products anywhere.

Opening hours are until 8:00 p.m., but they can't make a Veggie Buddha Bowl at 7:00 p.m. because of the vegetables. I find that impossible! I can understand it 10 minutes before closing time, but not 1 hour!! before closing time! It's outrageous! And you drive all over town for that! If the opening hours are until 8:00 p.m., then ALL dishes should be available until at least 7:45 p.m.!

Unfortunately, they stopped preparing meals 45 minutes before closing time. Questionable working practices...

I stopped by to pick up some snacks while waiting for my train. I generally like their flavors. I tried the sweet potato wrap and the raspberry and almond cake. They were delicious.

The worst flat white, €4.45 a barrel. That borders on assault, absolutely not recommended.

It's freezing cold because of leaky glass doors. It's draughty. Very uncomfortable. Simply antisocial to subject guests to this kind of treatment for overpriced food that doesn't taste particularly good.

I bought a chicken teriyaki wrap there and threw three-quarters of it in the trash. It was just a large pastry shell filled with rice and flavorless chicken. It came with a few lettuce leaves. I'd even prefer a wrap from a discount store. Luckily, the waitress baked the wrapping paper onto the wrap, so it all fell apart when I unwrapped it.

Ordered a bag from Too good to go. Had 2 sandwiches, which were dry but edible, and a spoiled porridge in the bag, which really stung the nose. Wouldn't order there again

I ate with Dean and David for the first time. The food is incredibly delicious. The staff was very nice and polite, especially an Asian woman who recommended delicious wraps to me.

I recently had dinner at Dean&David's and loved it! The chicken teriyaki wrap was fresh and delicious, and the service was super friendly. Gladly again.

The employees were absolutely unfriendly and very unprofessional. When it comes to prices, employees should have some idea of ​​what is included in the products. When I asked whether there were nuts in the chocolate muffins, I was given a mushy answer that the muffin was vegan. I asked several times and the answer was always that the muffin was vegan. In the end I was sent to the allergy list and told to check for myself. I didn't buy anything there and won't in the future, but I still wonder whether the employees even know what vegan means 🤣

Salad in disposable packaging. That's how it tastes too. And this at a time when a common deposit system for reusable food containers has long been established and is used in many places. But the selection of vegan dishes is also thin. Due to my tight schedule, I was only able to order a Chicken Teriaky Bowl to take on the go. That's why I only give the stars for food and service. Food was still warm 10 minutes later and I was served extremely quickly. Therefore, this Dean & David can only be recommended. For me it's the healthiest option for a snack at Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe train station.

Unfortunately there are few free seats as many non-customers use the seating area as a waiting room. The staff doesn't care about it.

Would like to get a cappuccino to take away in a deposit cup from Vytal. Dean and David also offers the deposit system in all of their stores. Unfortunately it didn't work here. The staff didn't know how it worked. There was also only an apology and a long explanation with excuses for getting out of the system. So sustainability is written differently. It works for other Dean and David stores. The staff in this area should be trained a little better

Got a tasteless "avocado roll"with some kind of Cheese and a milky liquid leaking out of it. The avocado was almost non existing. Horrible!

It was fine. Unfortunately, the employees were rather unfriendly and the salad in the bowl was a lot but anything but fresh. Unfortunately, some of the leaves were actually really rotten. Unfortunately I didn't feel like finishing it anymore.

The employees were friendly, but the food was completely oily, the mango was slippery and the avocado still had the peel on it.

Food very tasty, service very friendly. Great alternative in the train station and definitely an added value. However, I don't think it's okay that while I was ordering the employee was put down by the boss because she supposedly didn't work enough. The lady justified herself, to which the only answer was "I'll just look at the sales...". I think something like that is an absolute no-go in front of customers and even during a direct order. Therefore only 2 stars.

Die vielen schlechten Bewertungen spiegeln mein Bild des Dean & David überhaupt nicht wider. Personal ist freundlich und die Wartezeit war bei meinen Besuchen wie bei anderen D&D auch. Portionen sind großzügig. Der Sitzbereich könnte sauberer sein, das stimmt, ansonsten bleibt es ein go to Restaurant bei Durchreise.

Speisen lecker. Die Geschäftsführung sollte den Personalschlüssel dringend überdenken. Oft ist nur 1 Person am Tresen und gleichzeitig für warme Speisen, Salate, Getränke zuständig und egal wie kundenfreundlich, serviceorientiert und zuverlässig sich das Personal kümmert, 10 min Warten für 1 Kaffee ist am Bahnhof nicht vermittelbar. Der Fehler liegt eindeutig nicht beim Personal, sondern bei der Schichtleitung!

Gutes Essen, chaotische Bestellung, der mit dem Café "Kamps" geteilte Aufenthaltsraum ist dreckig – überall Krümel und klebrig, Bedienung wirkt überfordert (zwei Personen). Alternative im selben Bf. ist Backwerk.

Super essen. Sehr frisch und gesund. Auch das Team ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Eine Wohlfühlinsel am Bahnhof. Jederzeit wieder!!

Toller Laden mit viel Sitzbereich (drinnen und draußen) und der typischen Auswahl von Dean&David. Der Salat heute war sehr lecker, insbesondere der warme Reis/Quinoa. Lediglich die grünen Kräuter oben drauf, hätte man sich sparen können. Sie machten einen sehr schlappen Eindruck. Ebenso war die Avocado nicht in Scheiben geschnitten. Ohne Messer ein interessantes Unterfangen.
