We had halibut steak and plaice fillet in an egg crust with fried potatoes. Very good! The dishes were both clear and playful. Definitely worth a visit! We'd be happy to return!

Two of us stopped by with our dog on a Saturday afternoon. We had an outdoor table with no wait. The menu featured seasonal and standard dishes, as well as daily specials, with a decent selection, including vegetarian options. The drinks and food we ordered were well presented and really good in both quantity and quality. The prices are reasonable. The restaurant is located right on the harbor, and you can watch the hustle and bustle from your seat.

We were thrilled! The location on the harbor with a view of the pier. Beautiful seating both inside and out. Service was prompt and friendly. A good selection of food and drinks. We had lunch and opted for fried herring with potato/swedge mash and a side salad, as well as a selection of matjes (spiced herring) with fried potatoes. The food was a delight, and each portion was large enough for us to barely finish it. A big compliment to the kitchen for the very tasteful presentation of the dishes.

A very nice, cozy restaurant. The staff is friendly, quick, and you always have a good chance of getting a seat. The fish soup is delicious, and the fish is generally fresh and perfectly prepared. The schnitzel and sauerfleisch are also excellent. The portions are generous and beautifully presented. Highly recommended.

We had a delicious lunch there, and the quality was good. The prices are a bit high, but that's in line with the service offered. Only the expensive drinks somewhat dampen the rating. We will be back and can recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience.

Wir durften zum Anlass der Goldenen Hochzeit meiner Eltern mit unseren Gästen dort einkehren. Wir wurden so wunderbar behandelt und bewirtet. Jeder einzelne Gast ( 24) insgesamt wurde herzlich begrüßt. Das Team strahlt mit Freundlichkeit und man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Immer mal wieder ein lockeres Wort hat alles abgerundet. Vom Ambiente begeistert, die Tische waren entsprechend dem Anlass herrlich ausdekoriert, haben wir zudem eine Gaumenfreude erlebt. Liebevoll angerichtet, heiß und lecker. We ordered asparagus, but unfortunately it wasn't cooked through; it was firm and tasted bitter. We told the waitress, who just said that you can see and hear how firm it is when you cut it. We weren't offered any new asparagus, and we had to pay in full even though we couldn't eat it. We were offered an espresso or cappuccino on the house, but we wanted something to eat, not a coffee. That was a shame. It can happen that the asparagus isn't cooked through, but in that case they offer new ones or discount part of the price.

We felt very comfortable in this restaurant. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and also a feast for the eyes. A holiday in the north definitely includes a meal of fish and chips or herring with fried potatoes. The gusset was a bit too mild for us, but the food and especially the tartar sauce were very, very tasty. Particularly noteworthy: we once received tartar sauce “to go”. We would give 10 stars for the food, visually and taste-wise! Compared to other restaurants in the towns on the Baltic Sea coast, it was no less pretty here on the Bodden and more affordable in terms of price. With all the delicious dishes we could hardly decide, so the waitress recommended the fish platter, which was an excellent choice. After a short time, the food was served quickly, with the support of other staff. It was the kind of food that makes you go “Hhmm” with every bite, so delicious! But then disaster struck. We sat in the dining room not far from the counter. Suddenly, cutlery was thrown into the boxes and glasses were put on the shelves very loudly and with a clatter for several minutes. Loud shouts echoed through the dining room as new guests were welcomed. We felt like we were in the middle of a rumbling, hectic industrial kitchen. If this noise could have been contained, it would have been the best restaurant in the entire area for us.

The "De Zees" is really a little insider tip in Ribnitz-Damgarten and highly recommended. Inside you sit at the harbor with a direct view of the bay, beautiful. The staff and the food are also highly recommended. Everything is very tasty and nice. There are 2 free parking spaces in front of the house, otherwise you have to look around. And afterwards you can go straight to the playground with the children or take a trip around the lagoon.

Very nice restaurant, we had reserved for 3 people. No problem. Very friendly staff, very good service and very good advice regarding portions. The food came quite quickly, no long waiting times. The dishes such as the fish soup and the trio of cod, salmon and zander were super tasty 😋. We will definitely come back.

Everything is a matter of taste. But here I ate the best fish soup (fish pot) of my life. We also had plaice or the fish trio. The food was not only delicious, but the portions were also absolutely appropriate for the price and very nicely prepared. The staff was extremely courteous and humorous in a very pleasant way. We were completely satisfied and can recommend this restaurant 100%.

Alles ist Geschmackssache. Aber hier habe ich die beste Fischsuppe (Fischtopf) meines Lebens gegessen. Außerdem hatten wir Scholle bzw. das Fischtrio. Das Essen war nicht nur lecker, sondern die Portionen auch den Preisen absolut angemessen und sehr schön angerichtet. Das Personal war ausgesprochen zuvorkommend und auf sehr angenehme Art und Weise humorvoll. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und können dieses Restaurant zu 100% weiterempfehlen.

Not very friendly, we were given the worst seat in the restaurant even though there were better ones available.

We ate here with our children on November 21st, 2024, we had reserved. The reception and service was Nordic cool but still very warm! There was a children's chair and something for painting available for our little one, special requests when ordering were addressed without any problem, the starters and the main course came quickly and at a sufficient distance. The food was very tasty and the value for money was absolutely right, we would love to come back!

the personal was extremely unfriendly and arrogant, there was an issue with our reservation and until this got sorted the other waiters kept on scanning us from head to toe judgementally as if we‘re stray dogs that dared enter this mediocre establishment.

A very nice and worthy end to your holiday! Unfortunately the restaurant was fully booked, but if you come from rough Upper Franconia, it's no problem to use the beautiful outdoor area with a view of the small harbor. We were well looked after by a very attentive service. The food was really something special - portions to fill you up, quality and taste excellent and beautifully presented to the eye. Best restaurant meal this vacation!

Unfortunately the food didn't taste good enough for the price. Ambiance was okay. All waitresses were fine. Except our table service. Unfortunately, it was also noticeable at their tables that she had no desire to work.

Despite the high occupancy and without a reservation, we were able to get a table for 6 people. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The large fish soup was unfortunately very disappointing, a roux with Alaska pollock fillet pieces, the whole thing was served in a large plate for €13, but the contents were ultimately no more than a cup full. The taste experience was limited. The starter, the seasoned meat, was good and sufficient.

The ice cream sundaes, iced coffee and iced chocolate taste great. The ambience in the restaurant is also idyllic and fits the coastal flair. What is a big flaw, however, is that the friendly service is quite unfriendly. An annoyed look because 3 young people just asked if a table was free.... A passive-aggressive answer and then wanted to get rid of the guests as quickly as possible. And as a service person to say that you can't change money etc. shows a certain unprofessionalism. However, you can't blame the staff for the fact that the toilet was full of soap.... There are just some idiots. But I myself, who also works in the catering industry, would probably have received a warning 👌😂 But at least the food and the price are right.
