We've never eaten Italian food of this caliber in Germany before. Here, they don't just "interpret Italian cuisine," but truly cook it like in Italy – authentic, precise, and with uncompromising quality. Whether it's homemade pasta, lasagna, pizza, fresh fish, or meat dishes: everything is cooked to perfection, exceptionally aromatic, and of noticeably the highest quality ingredients. No compromises, no cheap imitations – just genuine Italian cuisine, the kind you usually only find south of the Alps. The excellent wine selection also deserves special mention: superbly curated, with expert and honest advice. The service is exceptionally attentive, warm, and professional – unobtrusive yet present, with a keen sense for the guests' needs. You feel welcome and exceptionally well cared for from the very first moment. This restaurant is absolutely top-tier and, in our opinion, clearly one of the best Italian restaurants – not just in Munich, but in all of Germany. We live in Switzerland, but one thing is for sure: We'll definitely be back – if only to eat here again. Thank you so much to the entire team – a true gem!

I visited this restaurant last week for a team dinner, and it was such a delightful experience. The food was genuinely good, and one of the highlights was getting to make our own pizza and pasta — it felt fun, interactive, and made the whole evening even more special. The staff and the atmosphere were incredible; it honestly felt like we were cooking and dining at home, thanks to how warm and welcoming everything was. And the icing on the cake — quite literally — was the tiramisu. Hands down the best I’ve had till date 🥹. 5 Stars – A Weekend Like in Bella Italia! 🇮🇹 We had two wonderful evenings at this Italian restaurant. The atmosphere was warm, lively, and full of good cheer. The team is exceptionally friendly and attentive, and their charm and engaging manner ensured a thoroughly enjoyable experience – you immediately feel welcome. The food was a true delight: The Penne Boscaiola was perfectly al dente, with a wonderfully creamy beef and porcini mushroom sauce – finely balanced, aromatic, and authentically Italian. The Ossobuco with risotto was incredibly tender, harmoniously seasoned, and the risotto was creamy and cooked to perfection – a real highlight. To top it all off, an outstanding dessert crowned the meal – fresh, homemade, and simply heavenly. Two fantastic evenings with excellent food, warm service, and a great atmosphere. This restaurant is highly recommended – we will definitely be back.

We were a large group (11 people) and made a spontaneous reservation – but we still got a great spot! The owner and the entire team were very friendly and attentive, and always had a funny remark ready. The food was really good and more than enough, even for hearty eaters. An unassuming place, but with excellent food and super-friendly service. We enjoyed everything; the beetroot carpaccio with buffalo mozzarella and vitello tonnato was particularly outstanding. The antipasti platter was fantastic. The waiters are super-fun and witty; everything was top-notch. We were even allowed to bring our dog.

Such a wonderful restaurant! The service was not only first-class and warm, but also really funny. A touch of Loriot. And the food was terrific. We had various starters, each perfectly matched, and the noodles with beef and mushrooms really brought out all the flavors. A big plus point for the dog: he was immediately brought a bottle of water, even before we sat down at the table.

Dino is simply “our” Italian. Just around the corner and always nice. When the weather is nice there is a nice little beer garden.

The small Italian restaurant in Mittersendling is highly recommended! We were thrilled with everything: the food, the friendly, competent and humorous service and the cozy, no-frills atmosphere. Honest Italian cuisine of excellent quality. No matter whether pizza, pasta, fish or meat, everything tastes very good here. But the desserts are also excellent. Great warm team. Dino as a boss who is always there for his guests, Pietro one of the best waiters we have met, but everyone else on site is also super nice! Very good Italian restaurant with a large selection of pizzas, pasta and fish dishes. I've been here many times and it's always been a nice visit to Vivo's.

De Vivo's is always a guarantee, I've been going there for years and it's never been a disappointment. This weekend we organized our daughter's christening there and the service was excellent - 30 guests went home very satisfied. Highly recommended if you are in the area it is a must see!

Located directly at the Hotel Ambassador Parkhotel, with a beautiful, well-kept garden. Small children's playground adjacent. Food excellent, service friendly and accommodating. Price/performance absolutely harmonious. You can taste the Italian in the kitchen. I can only warmly recommend it.

I cannot say enough good things about De Vivo's restaurant! The food is absolutely delicious and the atmosphere is so cozy and inviting. I was sharing some meals and they provided us with what we wanted. But the real cherry on top is the hilarious wait staff. These guys had us laughing the entire time with their jokes and funny antics. Not only did they provide top-notch service, but they also made our dining experience truly memorable. We will definitely be returning to this gem of a spot for more great food and entertainment from the best waiters in town! Five stars all the way! Grazie mille!

Leider war die Bestellung für die Lieferung eine Enttäuschung. Beim ersten Mal hat alles gepasst, vom Geschmack und der Wartezeit her, jedoch nach diesem Mal werde ich wohl nicht mehr bestellen. Vor allem die Lasagne war von der Portion her deutlich kleiner als zuvor und nur lauwarm, obwohl der Lieferweg mit dem Auto nicht so lange beträgt. Sehr schade! Womöglich ist das Essen direkt im Lokal besser.

Also das ist wirklich ein Spitzen Restaurant wo man sehr gut essen kann. Dino und sein Team sind sehr Gastfreundlich und setzen alle Wünsche um. Küche ist Exzellent und reichlich Auswahl. Bin seit Jahren regelmäßig dort und immer sehr zufrieden. Sehr sehr zum empfehlen vor allem die Baby Calamaris ein Traum…. Der Kellner Pietro verdient auch ein sehr großen Lob. Top weiter so

Wer obendrein noch super gut essen, trinken und genießen möchte, der sollte unbedingt über diese Türschwelle treten ... eine perfekte Köchin mit Team wirbelt im Hintergrund. Einmal dort Gast gewesen, willst du wieder hin und wirst mit offenen Armen empfangen. Und auf die jüngsten Gäste wartet eine große Schublade mit Spielsachen und ein ebenso herzliches Willkommen! It's really delicious food, we come here every week

One of the most reliable and friendliest Italian restaurants I know in Munich. I never grow tired of their delicious Pizza and enjoy every visit (also thanks to the whole staff). We've been coming to De Vivo's with a varied size group once a week for many years. Without exception we have always been welcomed with open arms & great flexibility. The service is fast and friendly and the food is always prepared to a very high standard independent of the group size. I can mainly vouch for the quality of the pizzas but the few times I went for pasta (Truffle pasta tossed in a parmesan cheese wheel) I walked away equally impressed. One advice though: if you're very hungry go for pizza or pasta, not the menu. The menu favours quality over quantity. After 5+ years I'm still looking forward to the visit every week.

Wir waren als größere Gruppe und der Service war super. Das Essen war lecker, mit einer Ausnahme: Das Risotto del Giorno war nicht sehr “schlotzig” und kann ich daher nicht empfehlen. Die Pizzas waren lecker, dürfen aber gerne etwas größer sein.
