Food and service were great, would go back again!!

Delicious experience with authentic Persian Halal dishes, served by an incredibly humble, polite, and kind crew. The restaurant has a unique cave-like design, giving you the feeling of stepping back into history, it sounds building was built in 1865; yet beautifully decorated. During summer, you can also enjoy sitting outside by the riverside, which makes the atmosphere even more special. I strongly recommend trying this restaurant!

Despite the short notice, we were immediately offered a table for 9 people. The food was delicious, satisfying for everyone, vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike, and the portion size was also very reasonable! A real insider tip, as the restaurant is tucked away in a listed building on the picturesque Main River. Thank you for the friendly service, the wonderful evening, and for letting us stay until 11:00 PM!

The appetizers, in particular, are definitely worth a visit. Everything is homemade and elaborately prepared. There was a special welcome from the kitchen. A thoroughly enjoyable evening.

We ate there in October. It was fantastic. We ordered the historical dishes (2,500 year old recipes). The waiter described the history of the dishes so vividly that it was like visiting a restaurant experience museum. In addition to the experience, the food was also super tasty and really filling.

Lovingly prepared Persian specialties at a reasonable price. The staff is friendly and has exciting stories to tell about the dishes served.

Unfortunately, the service was subpar, the restaurant was cold, and the food took a long time. The dishes were delicious, but I didn't tolerate mine well. Possibly an intolerance? No idea, definitely not a recommendation if it stayed that way.

Very nice atmosphere with delightful music. The staff was very welcoming. They served us Ash Reshte as a starter, which was very tasty. We ordered Koobideh kebab and Zereshk Polo with chicken. Both dishes were of good quality, though I would especially recommend the kebab. We also ordered tea, which was beautifully served in a traditional Qajar-style teapot.

We spontaneously decided to eat here. As soon as you walked in, the restaurant felt homey. It's rustic anyway, as it's located in a former brewery cellar almost directly on the Main. We have tried different food and drinks at Dayana on several visits. Highly recommended. Ambiance is quiet and quaint. The service staff attentive and friendly. Card payment is accepted and there are plenty of parking spaces directly on the banks of the Main nearby.

Das persiche Restaurant liegt am Mainufer, man geht in den Gewöbekeller eines Hauses von der Strasse fast ebenerdig rein. Hervorzuheben ist der junge Mann, der heute für den Service veranstwortlich war, er hat sich für seine Deutschkenntnisse entschudligt (die ganz gut waren), hat uns Informationen zum Essen und zu einem Musikinstrument gegeben, das im Raum war. Der Service war flott. Die vegetarischen Vorspeißen für 2 Personen, sollte man sich zu 3 oder 4 Personen teilen (Yoghurt mit Gurke, Humus, Auberginen, dazu Brot). Der Geschmack ist sehr gut. wir waren rundum zufrieden und kommen sicher nochmal um etwas anderes zu testen.

I recently dined at Dayana and was thoroughly impressed. The ambiance is a perfect blend of traditional Persian charm and old fashioned elegance place, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The menu features a wide array of authentic dishes; the kebabs were juicy and flavorful, and the saffron rice was a highlight. The appetizers, like the shirazi salad and hummus, were fresh and delicious. Service was exceptional—attentive and knowledgeable. To top it off, the traditional Bastany and Faloofa and saffron ice cream were the perfect sweet end. Dayana is a standout spot for anyone craving top-notch Persian cuisine in Frankfurt.

Tja, das war ein wenig merkwürdig. Normalerweise bekommt man in einem persischen Restaurant einen Teller mit frischen Kräutern, Zwiebeln und Radieschen mit Frischkäse und Brot. Statt dessen kam ein Salat, Weißkohl mit Tomaten und Gurken, mit einem sehr undefinierbaren Dressing. Die Vorspeisen waren lecker, Falafel , Hummus und Salat Shirazi. Als Hauptgericht habe ich Djudje Kebab bestellt, mein persisches Leibgericht, laut Karte mit Granatapfel-Walnuss Sauce, auch ein Highlight der persischen Küche. Bekommen habe ich eine braune Sauce mit 5 kleinen Hühnerfleisch Stückchen und zwei vertrockneten Walnüssen darin. Ich habe dann noch einen Hähnchen Spieß nach bestellt. Das Fleisch war komplett überwürzt. Wenn ich nicht schon wirklich tolles persisches Essen erlebt hätte, würde ich sagen: Ein Mal und nie wieder!

Das Dayana hat einen tollen Standort direkt am Main. Es gibt leider nur 2 kleine Tische draußen an der Straße mit Blick auf den Main, aber wenn man einen davon ergattert ist das super (die Stühle könnten allerdings bequemer sein oder zumindest Sitzkissen haben!) Das Restaurant innen ist etwas dunkel, wie ein Ratskeller, was für kältere Abende wunderbar gemütlich ist, jetzt im Sommer etwas schade. Wir hatten ein paar Mega leckere nicht alkoholische persische Drinks und einen Vorspeisenteller für 2 Personen, der locker als Abendessen für uns gereicht hat. Etwas schade, dass wir so die Hauptspeisen nicht ausprobieren konnten :-) wir kommen wieder! Der Service war spitze und es gab einen Salat aufs Haus, während wir warteten. Toll!
