Everything perfect from start to finish. I had initial contact for an inquiry via WhatsApp, which I found very pleasant. I received an offer so quickly, so service was really TOP. It was a very special stay for us because we got married in Oberstdorf. And with your warmth, you and your team made it the unforgettable experience we wanted - thank you so much for that. We'll definitely be back - the plan is for our 1st wedding anniversary 😉

Extraordinary address with a small, exotic menu and drinks list and if you like wine, this is the place for you too. The bowls here are something special, but you should know that they are cold to lukewarm at most and taste very good. Very pleasant atmosphere, noise level in a pleasant range. Service quick and friendly. Something special.

We had a great stay in Freiberg and would love to come back. I would particularly like to mention the friendliness of the staff - truly exceptional!

We stayed in this small hotel for 2 nights. Good location on the outskirts 👍. Beautiful modern individual room with views of the mountains and the garden and pool area. Service was nice and friendly, but the breaks between the menu courses were too long for us (over 2.5 hours in total). At the second dinner in the hunting lodge, however, everything went very well (dinner always takes place there on Sundays) The wellness area is well maintained and modernly furnished, saunas and relaxation area. The outdoor pool is heated and can be used in winter, a dream 🥰, very warm and you could swim lengths. The hotel is not super cheap, but it was worth it. You can have breakfast on the day of arrival, just let us know in advance, and get to the room earlier, so we were able to use the day of arrival as a whole day. No extra charge

Absolutely outstanding hotel, the complete opposite of 0815! Starting with the delicious breakfast on the day of arrival, through the excellent 4-course menu in the evening, to the super great staff. Oh, and not forgetting the unexpected afternoon cake treat. Repetition factor extremely high... The only small downer: the wellness relaxation area: very small with only 7 loungers.

This hotel has everything your heart desires. Great room, great service, excellent food. Everything was perfect.

Beautifully situated in the Oberstdorf meadows, the town center is about 5 minutes' walk away. The morning begins with a friendly and courteous breakfast team, a nice selection at the breakfast buffet and an additional menu with freshly prepared dishes. Dinner is always a treat, especially the concept of dining in 3 different restaurants is a treat. The wellness area with saunas and outdoor pool invites you to relax. We can only say again: “Thank you for the wonderful days at the Freiberg Hotel. We’d love to come back.”

Very personal service, you immediately feel like you are in good hands. Great breakfast and excellent food in star quality, and an excellent drinks/wine list. Small but well-kept wellness area, massage with Eva is recommended. Great room with lots of space and very nicely decorated. Ideal place to relax.

A perfect long weekend! We had a wonderful time in this small, fine hotel in fantastic weather. The surroundings are idyllic, the welcome is incredibly warm, and you immediately feel at home. The hotel offers everything you could wish for - especially the exceptionally personal and warm service. I can recommend all the restaurants that belong to the house. Delicious and varied! We would definitely like to come back!

A very special hotel that offers everything you could wish for. Outstanding service and excellent cuisine. The friendliness of the service staff at the reception, in the evening service and at the start of the day with a fantastic breakfast is particularly noteworthy. We felt completely comfortable. Really extremely courteous hotel staff, friendly, helpful. A creative place

Last week we (two two-legged friends and two four-legged friends) spent five wonderful days in the Anti holiday apartment. We have never seen such a tastefully furnished apartment before. It was very practical to be able to use the breakfast buffet at a more than fair price, which left nothing to be desired. In the evening we ate in the network, in the hunting lodge and in the Maxi, which was always an extraordinary pleasure in its own way and with the kitchen's own signature style. Everything was rounded off by the very friendly and attentive service at reception, at breakfast and at dinner. Five stars and five paws for a very relaxing stay. We would be happy to come back.

Great hotel in an excellent location in Oberstdorf. The outdoor pool is wonderfully warm and the small wellness area is very inviting. The breakfast is delicious and varied and we also enjoyed dinner at Fetzwerk. It's a shame that some guests don't seem to understand the concept of the hotel (or don't research the hotel online before booking) and then complain at breakfast that everything is presented in small portions in mason jars and that you have to order fruit salad. I liked it so much!

Those were just perfect days! Unobtrusive friendliness from the first to the last minute. We ate our way through all the restaurant offerings and were always thrilled. This freedom of being able to eat breakfast practically until lunchtime is of course extremely fun with the delicacies on offer. After a day on the Nebelhorn, or anywhere else, enjoy the last rays of sunshine with a sundowner on the terrace of the 'Fetzwerk' - That's the Life! Of the wellness options, we only used the heated swimming pool. Also great. We were traveling with a dog and it helps a lot that you only have to cross the street so that it can do its business. Please always take 'poop bags' with you, as the meadows are farmers' feeding meadows. Directly opposite the entrance is a public dispenser with disposal. From the hotel you can reach the center in just a few minutes. The valley station of the Nebelhornbahn is a little further. But everything is within walking distance.

Very good hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. At Das Freiberg, service comes first. The employees live and breathe service and help guests feel completely comfortable. Even the little things, like the personally written card in the room, the candy jar that is refilled every day, and the free tea and cake in the afternoon. Upon arrival you will be given a personal tour of the hotel and shown your room. You rarely experience something like that. The breakfast is great and everything is freshly prepared. No waste, no food left to dry in bowls, everything freshly prepared. The room was fantastic and had very good beds, so you can wake up feeling well rested. Really recommended. If I had to name a small negative point, it would be the gentleman at reception to whom I explained my problem that a charging station for the car wasn't working. He politely came along to check, but he let out an audible sigh that he wasn't impressed. It can happen, but you should never show something like that in front of guests. Luckily, his colleague ultimately solved the problem by reparking a car at a different charging station and connecting our car to that charging station so that we could drive home the next day with a full battery.

Everything was perfect and we had a wonderful stay. Any time.

As usual, the two weeks went by far too quickly. And “as usual” - it just fits: lovingly furnished rooms, personal atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff, waist-damaging food, quiet, yet central location. You'll be happy to come back!

Arrive, receive a warm welcome - and feel completely at home. That was my impression from the first minute in this wonderful feel-good hotel and I was able to enjoy it for a week. What should be emphasized is the unobtrusive friendliness and good training of the entire staff and also the owners. In the two restaurants in the hotel, every wish of a gourmet will be fulfilled. Food intolerances are also addressed promptly without much discussion. The furnishings and design throughout the house are decorated with great attention to detail and harmonious colors. The owner of the house really has a very good hand here - and I would like to thank her very much for her hospitality! What should be highlighted are the beautifully and harmoniously furnished rooms, which are cleaned daily. Likewise, the wellness area and also the swimming pool are a pleasure to use. Once I also had the pleasure of being able to eat in the hotel's “hunting lodge” with its large beer garden, which was also an experience and the rooms were very comfortable and the food was very good. All the employees are simply super friendly, attentive and natural - whether at the reception, at the breakfast buffet or in the restaurants/bar. The hotel is stylish and cozy at the same time. Ideal for those seeking peace and quiet who value good service.

We had two rooms with half board for three days. Rooms very nice, large, clean and comfortable. Location of the hotel on the outskirts of town, but still within easy walking distance of everything in town. There are more than enough hiking routes. For dinner we were able to enjoy all three restaurants in the “Freiberg”. Each restaurant has its own style, great selection and friendly, competent staff. A little “highlight” for us: breakfast is served until 12 p.m. Great offer here too, great staff. Clear recommendation from us!

Very pleasant and cozy, family-run design and romantic hotel, lovingly furnished, with excellent gourmet cuisine and outstanding service! Also breakfast, until 12 noon! is really comprehensive and leaves nothing to be desired! In one of the many cozy seating areas you can also marvel at the countless trophies of the Bavarian ski jumping legend Max Bolkart, now 91 years old! The outdoor pool is very warmly heated, so you can use it in any weather. The private SPA is also highly recommended, which you should treat yourself to at least once during your stay! An absolute must for couples! The location is on the southwestern outskirts of the town, in 10-15 minutes you can easily reach the "center" of Oberstdorf on foot. On this occasion, many thanks again to the Bolkart-Fetzer hotelier family and their great team!
