Ondersch Genusswirtschaft & Streetfood in Oberstdorf

Alpinburger, hat soviel anderes Zeug drauf, das es schon wieder Langweilig schmeckt. Ein Koch benutzt seine Hände als Pommes-Schaufel und wischt sich diese an seinem Kittel routiniert sauber und Snackt ab und zu selbst eine 🤣 den richtigen Sterneschnuppen werden wir wohl nicht mehr ausprobieren. Service war aber Top.

Das Personal war super freundlich, der Service schnell und alle unsere Fragen wurden beantwortet! Sie haben auch regelmäßig nachgefragt, ob alles in Ordnung sei und ob wir etwas zu trinken hätten. Das Essen kam blitzschnell und war wirklich sehr lecker! Die Spieße wurden auf einem kleinen Grill warmgehalten, was nicht nur toll aussah, sondern sie auch schön warm hielt. Wir bekamen außerdem einen Teller mit Soßengläsern. Leider habe ich kein Foto davon, aber es sah sehr appetitlich aus. Der Burger war auch lecker und sah toll aus. Insgesamt ein super Erlebnis, absolut empfehlenswert, wenn ihr in der Gegend seid!

Wir haben das Ondersch aufgrund der Empfehlung im Michelin Guide besucht. Wir hatten im Vorfeld einen Tisch reserviert und wurden freundlich vom Koch persönlich empfangen. Das Restaurant liegt zentral in Obertsdorf und wirkt sehr gepflegt und sauber. Wir bekamen als erstes einen Gruß aus der Küche, der sehr gut und harmonisch abgestimmt war. Die Vorspeisen waren vom Geschmack her lecker, aber leider ein bisschen langweilig von der Zusammensetzung der Komponenten. Die Hauptgänge waren auf einem guten Brauhaus Niveau, unserer Meinung nach aber keines Wegs einer Empfehlung im Michelin Guide gerecht geworden. Wenn man einen netten Abend mit leckeren Essen haben möchte ist man hier genau richtig. Gourmets werden sicher woanders besser aufgehoben.

Tolles Lokal, das Essen hervorragend und ein außerordentlich nettes Personal. Aber durch das knappe Zeitfenster, wenn man mehrere Gänge hat, ist ein gemütlicher Cocktail danach nicht möglich. Die Bar wird leider auch benutzt damit Gäste dort Essen können. Vielleicht klappt es nächstes Mal.

Das Konzept mit Streetfood aus aller Welt ist wirklich super umgesetzt und sorgt für viel Abwechslung. Besonders die Rippchen und die Hähnchenschenkel waren richtig lecker – saftig, würzig und perfekt zubereitet. Dazu gab es tolle Cocktails, die den Abend perfekt abgerundet haben. Die Kombination aus lockerem Ambiente, internationalen Gerichten und guter Getränkeauswahl macht den Laden zu etwas Besonderem. Ideal, um mit Freunden entspannt essen und etwas trinken zu gehen. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und zum Tisch gebracht, wir konnten sofort bestellen und das Trinken war in wenigen Minuten da. Genauso war es auch mit dem Essen. Wir müssen sagen das wir noch nie etwas so gutes gegessen haben wie dort. Und der Preis war absolut gerechtfertigt. Wir hatten eine tolle Erfahrung und können es nur weiterempfehlen

Wir waren 2 Mal hier um etwas zu trinken. Obwohl der Außenbereich an einer Straße gelegen, sitzt man sehr gemütlich dort. Die Getränke sind zwar etwas teurer, aber qualitativ auch hochwertig. Das Personal war durchweg freundlich und aufmerksam. Zum Essen können wir nichts sagen, aber was wir gesehen haben, hat super lecker ausgesehen. Beim nächsten Besuch werden wir das Essen ausprobieren.

Toller Abend mit super Service im Streetfood Ich war mit einer Freundin im Ondersch und wir waren rundum begeistert. Der Service war von Anfang an sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Besonders hervorheben muss ich die Kässpatzen – die waren einfach super lecker! Auch das Ambiente hat uns überzeugt: Die Atmosphäre ist sehr angenehm und die Lautstärke genau richtig, sodass man sich entspannt unterhalten kann, ohne schreien zu müssen. Eine tolle Gastro auf hohem Niveau. Ich komme definitiv gerne wieder!

Ein interessantes Objekt mit vielen spannenden Konzepten ( Terrasse, Bar, modern Streetfood im Basement, aber das Juwel verbirgt sich oben unter dem Dach: Ondersch Genusswirtschaft! Das Essen ist lecker gute Taco und Burger. Tolle Getränkeauswahl und ein freundliches Ambiente. Leider riecht man nach dem Besuch selber auch wie eine Frittenbude.

Sehr leckere Burger, dazu gab es mehrere Saucen für die Pommes zur Auswahl und alles wurde von sehr freundlichem Service begleitet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und es war wirklich lecker. Alles wurde frisch zubereitet, die Burger waren zudem sehr gut belegt.

Das Essen war hervorragend. Wir hatten die Sate Spieße und Spareribs aus der Streetfood Karte. Das Personal auch eine 12/10. Absolute Empfehlung

Waren im Streerfood lokal… alles Essen was wir bestellt hatten,war Mega lecker… Die Spare Ribs s ein Traum! Personal super freundlich und das Ambiente ist auch sehr gelungen…. Unbedingt vorher reservieren !!!! Ist zurecht sehr beliebt !

Wir waren von der Qualität und dem Geschmack der Speisen sehr angetan. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den Salat, der nicht nur kreativ, sondern auch geschmacklich hervorragend abgestimmt war. Aber auch die Burger schmeckten saftig und frisch. Wenn wir das nächste Mal in Oberstdorf sind, kommen wir definitiv wieder!

So leid es mir tut, diese Bewertung schreiben zu müssen, da die Spareribs sehr zart waren und die Bedienung äußerst freundlich war. Leider bin ich in der Nacht nach dem Besuch mit starker Übelkeit aufgewacht und hatte einen Kreislaufzusammenbruch, bei dem ich mir den Kopf aufgeschlagen habe. Als weitere Speise hatte ich morgens lediglich zwei Brötchen zum Frühstück gegessen. Die restliche Nacht habe ich erbrechend auf der Toilette verbracht. Mein Kumpel, der dasselbe Gericht hatte, hatte ebenfalls die ganze Nacht starke Übelkeit.

Sehr gutes Essen und angenehme Atmosphäre. Der Service ist sehr schnell. Man wird mehrmals gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist, vielleicht etwas zu oft. Trotzdem sehr freundlich.

Wir waren dort um gemütlich etwas zu trinken. Haben ein paar Cocktails probiert. Sehr lecker. Bedient wurden wir von einer super lieben Kellnerin (Theresa). Würden jederzeit wieder hingehen.

Service unter aller Sau ein Tisch für zwei gab’s nicht trotz Reservierung hatten wir ein runden Tisch für 4 wo man nicht mal gegenüber sitzen konnte und direkt an der Tür mit Durchzug. Darauf hin haben wir gefragt nach einem andern und haben einen Tisch in einer Ecke direkt über der Küche wo man denn ganzen Geruch und weiters riecht angeboten bekommen. Absolute Frechheit geht gar nicht.

​5 Sterne – Unser absolutes Highlight! ​Wir waren während unseres Aufenthalts direkt zwei Tage in Folge hier essen – und das aus gutem Grund! Das Essen war jedes Mal sensationell und kam zudem wahnsinnig schnell an den Tisch. ​Was uns aber am meisten beeindruckt hat, war die unglaubliche Herzlichkeit des Teams. Besonders eine Mitarbeiterin hat uns den Tag gerettet: Wir hatten unser Essen zum Mitnehmen vergessen, und sie ist uns bei eiskalten +-4 Grad nach draußen hinterhergelaufen und hat nach uns Ausschau gehalten. ​So viel Leidenschaft für den Gast und echte Hilfsbereitschaft findet man selten. Wer fantastisches Essen und einen erstklassigen Service sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wir kommen beim nächsten Mal garantiert wieder!

Ein absolut einmaliges Geschmackserlebnis. Das Essen war unglaublich lecker und das Konzept des Restaurants einfach richtig gut durchdacht. Das Personal war dabei unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich, man hat sich sofort willkommen gefühlt. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die gutes Essen und eine besondere Atmosphäre schätzen.

Wir waren an zwei Abenden eines Wochenendes dort. Konzept mit 2 Bereichen. Wir haben sowohl die höherpreisige (150€ für 2 Personen) als auch „normalpreisige“ (60€ für 2 P. ) Küche ausprobiert. Sehr angemessenes P-L Verhältnis, toller Service, sehr lecker. So geht Gastronomie!!

Wir haben das 3-Gang Menü mit Gruß aus der Küche und Weinbegleitung sehr genossen und können es wärmstens empfehlen. Geschmacklich sehr sehr hochwertige Küche. Sehr gelungene, kreative Präsentation. Die Weinbegleitung war qualitativ ebenfalls sehr hochwertig, wobei man über den Gewürztraminer als Wein zum Dessert verschiedener Auffassung sein kann. Sehr aufmerksamer Service. Das Ambiente ist auch sehr ansprechend und mal etwas anders als üblich. Leicht gestört hat mich persönlich, dass das Restaurant über die Etagen etwas hellhörig ist und man die Kinder aus dem EG noch gut hören konnte, aber das schmälerte den Genuss und meine Empfehlung nur unwesentlich.

Wir haben dort die besten Rippchen seit Jahren gegessen. Unglaublich zart und schmackhaft. Einziger Kritikpunkt: es gibt keine Garderobe ( oder die anderen Gäste und wir haben sie nicht gesehen ). Man muss die Jacken und teilweise langen Mäntel über den Stuhl hängen 🙄

Tolle Location: Wem mal nicht nach deftiger bis feiner Wirtshauskost ist, der wird im Streetfood-Bereich dieses für Oberstdorf eher exotischen Ladens sehr zufrieden sein. Die Kürbis-Curry-Suppe ist top, die Saté-Spieße mit Süßkartoffelpommes auch sehr gut. Zudem nette Atmosphäre und sensationell gute Cocktails. Top 3: 1. Pornstar Martini, 2.Black Mochito, 3. Pisco Sour.

Jedesmal völlig überfüllt. Möbel abgenutzt und dreckig. Für das Ambiente viel zu teuer. Essen ganz okay. Service sehr freundlich.

Im ondersch im LOFT in Oberstdorf hatten wir das Glück, ganz kurzfristig noch einen Tisch zu bekommen, da jemand abgesagt hatte – sonst wäre an diesem Abend nichts mehr frei gewesen. Umso schöner, dass es geklappt hat, denn der Abend war schlichtweg hervorragend. Als Vorspeise hatten wir das Tataki vom Allgäuer Rind mit geräucherter Mandel, Rote Beete und Dashi-Sud – geschmacklich perfekt abgestimmt und unglaublich lecker. Danach teilten wir uns ein Chateaubriand für zwei: ein perfekt gegrilltes Filet, butterzart, mit feinem Gemüse und Püree – ein echtes Highlight. Begleitet wurde das Essen von einem sehr passenden Grünen Veltliner. Dazu ein aufmerksamer, freundlicher Service und eine wunderschöne Atmosphäre. Für uns ganz klar: herausragend und die Nummer eins zum Essen in Oberstdorf. Absolute Empfehlung.

Das war dieses Mal leider nicht gut. Die Käsespätzle total fad und wässrig, Käse auch nicht wirklich zu schmecken. Die Tacos mit Ziegenfrischkäse hatten genau davon viel zu viel, alle anderen Zutaten waren davon überdeckt. Sushi war ok. Wir saßen ganz oben im Küchendunst und alles hat nach 1 1/2 Stunden nach Frittenfett gerochen. Schade.

Ich kommentiere normalerweise nicht, aber ich möchte diese Erfahrung teilen. Ich war alleine im Restaurant während der Betriebsferien im Ort, es war entsprechend sehr voll. Während meines Besuchs hörte ich leider, wie eine Kellnerin hinter dem Tresen über mich sagte: „die blöde Sau sitzt da“. Das hat bei mir ein sehr unangenehmes Gefühl ausgelöst. Außerdem waren die Käsespätzle leider kaum gewürzt; ich musste selbst nachpfeffern und die Trüffel-Mayo vom Tisch nehmen, um etwas Geschmack zu bekommen. Ich wurde zwar zügig bedient, aber ich finde solche Äußerungen gegenüber Gästen, insbesondere Solo Travelern, sehr unhöflich und unangemessen. Ich hoffe, dass in Zukunft alle Gäste, auch Alleinreisende, respektvoll behandelt werden!!! Danke 🙏🏼

Great restaurant. We ate at the street food restaurant. They had some unique food ideas that suited our taste. Excellent service and a great atmosphere. We ate there twice in the evenings over four days and would definitely go back.

Good food, reasonable prices, friendly staff and central location.

We ate at Ondersch's restaurant for the second time last week. The service was fast and very attentive. I ordered the three-course menu, and I have to say the dishes tasted great and the food was also a delight. Unfortunately, I have to deduct a point because it's unacceptable that after these three courses, I had to make myself a sandwich at home so I wouldn't go to bed hungry. Side note: I weigh 68 kg and am 181 cm tall. €70 for three samples is quite a lot. I'd be happy to come back when the price-to-portion ratio is right again.

You have to be aware that you should expect a hip, industrial style. The music was too loud for my taste, and the loft seating wasn't all that comfortable. However, the food was good, and the service was attentive.

We felt very comfortable, and our intolerances were well understood and taken into account. After we mentioned that we didn't want the cheese on the burger because we're dairy intolerant, it was immediately pointed out that the bun also contained milk. They then suggested the gluten-free bun, as it is dairy-free.

We made a reservation in advance, which is definitely recommended, as the place booked up quickly. Unfortunately, the cheese spaetzle didn't quite impress us and was a bit pricey compared to the rest. Oberstdorf is not only "Ondersch" (as the Allgäu people say) as a place, but also when it comes to its culinary offerings. As guests of the "Ondersch," we must expressly recommend it, both for the location, service, and especially for the outstanding menu! Although we actually wanted to go to the "Genusswirtschaft," which was closed, we went to "Streetfood" twice, which may be a bit confusing at first, as it's like arriving at a cinema. However, this is 100% fitting, as the kitchen and the exceptionally service-oriented team deliver, in our opinion, "Great Cinema!" You get Hanseatic "first-class" gastronomy in Oberstdorf, as Stefan Stiefeling and Matthias Hein know each other from the "Louis C. Jacob" in Hamburg and wanted to realize their idea of "Perfect Food & Atmosphere" with a view of 2,000-meter peaks. All that remains is a BIG "THANK YOU!" to the entire team and the reminder (no matter what you choose, it will taste good. Don't be put off by the fact that there are "fries" everywhere; you can have them turned into a creative salad ;) and ABSOLUTELY try the—in our opinion—world's best "Thai soup." This was our second time at Ondersch and we have little to no complaints. The service was good, the food was tasty and came quickly, the fries (sweet and regular) were very crispy, and the dips were decent. However, I/we are still missing something to give it a full rating. Perhaps we would have liked a few more burger options. The prices are too high, like everywhere else, but that's not the fault of the restaurant owner; it's the fault of the ladies and gentlemen in Berlin! All in all, Ondersch is an integral part of our vacation in Oberstdorf.

Our Place2B in Oberstdorf. This somewhat unusually designed restaurant in the Oberstdorf cinema offers truly top-quality street food and drinks. We usually come here more than once when we're on vacation in Oberstdorf. Our favorites are the Alpinaburger, Espresso Martini, and all served on the Euro pallet sofa with a view of the mountains in good weather. Reservations are strongly recommended if you're coming with more than two people or if you're not flexible enough to make an extra round. It's always busy. The kitchen could just stay open a little longer sometimes. Keep up the good work. Great team, great products, great location.

Ondersch is different, and exceptional. Definitely not a cinema caterer. A gem in Oberstdorf.

We were privileged to spend a very special evening at the Ondersch Genusswirtschaft in Oberstdorf yesterday – and we are absolutely thrilled! From the moment you arrive, you feel immediately welcome. The service is outstanding – natural, warm, attentive, and always with a smile. Our special requests were accommodated without hesitation and with great understanding, which made the evening even more wonderful. The food was a dream – finely crafted, presented with attention to detail, and simply delicious! The selection is extensive and there's something for everyone. The wine pairing was also perfectly matched and wonderfully rounded off the culinary experience. You simply feel at home here – nothing seems forced, but rather authentic, hospitable, and full of passion for good food and enjoyment. We had an unforgettable evening and will definitely be back. Absolutely recommended!

Excellent, high-quality food at reasonable prices. I went there twice during my vacation because it was so good!

We wanted to reserve a table for our wedding anniversary. The restaurant's reservations are only available by phone, but they're not reachable by phone. After trying to contact them by email, they returned a call. The menu offered on the website was no longer available, and they couldn't guarantee gluten-free options. It sounded more like "we don't want to cater to such special requests." For a restaurant with upscale standards, that's a real disgrace. Fortunately, you can spend your money at other restaurants that cater much better to allergies and intolerances.

Four of us went to eat at Genusswirtschaft around 6 p.m. We got a nice table without a reservation. The food was a 10 out of 10! It tasted very good and was also very well presented! The friendly service, who answered our questions about the food very kindly and thoroughly, also deserves a special mention. We will definitely be back. Thank you for the delicious food and a wonderful evening!

We both had the Alpine burger at Streetfood. Absolutely delicious 😋. The service was very friendly. Nothing to complain about. The only comment: a spoon would have been helpful for the delicious little jars of sauce. Otherwise, everything was top-notch.

The visual is definitely right, there is something special here! The bowl was super tasty, the sauces for the fries were perfect, and the meat was seasoned absolutely perfectly. Unfortunately, the Kässpatzen felt a bit watery, but that could also have been the cheese used. The cocktails were perfect. We will come again!

The naked burger almost €17 then another almost €5 for fries which is quite expensive even if it was tasty.

The food in the Genusswirtschaft was very tasty and cooked to a high standard. The chef himself was at our table to welcome us and made a friendly and very competent impression. Unfortunately, we didn't find the location or the service that great. The open room concept means guests can hear from the cinema, bar and restaurant below. Unfortunately, the background noise is very high and for a nice evening at this price level, a more relaxed atmosphere and space would be desirable. We found the service ok, but unfortunately not quite in keeping with the “fine dining concept”.

I have rarely eaten so well in this price range! Everything was perfectly seasoned and balanced. The selection of dishes is also great for vegetarians. There are people at work who know their craft :)

Very tasty food, great drinks, beautiful views and just a great atmosphere to spend a nice evening. The waitress is super warm, very attentive but not too pushy and does her thing with all her heart. A big recommendation even with a dog. Unfortunately discovered too late on this holiday, but a big must in Oberstdorf for the next holiday.

The restaurant cannot be recommended. Dog owners apparently not welcome. Despite the low season, there was apparently no need to allocate a reasonable table in an almost empty restaurant. Unfriendliness on the part of the employees is also a big minus, so no star for service. I definitely won't be coming back - it's a shame, it worked well last year...

Everything is fine, unfortunately the clothes smell strongly of the kitchen, the exhaust system is weak.
