A very good self-service restaurant. The coffee tastes great, the pretzels are fresh. The view, in good weather, is a dream. A breathtaking view of the Alps, from the Zugspitze to Lake Constance...

We only had a hot chocolate. The view was priceless.

A very cozy restaurant with a fantastic view and fantastic food. We had goulash soup and Kaiserschmarrn (sweet pancakes). Both were delicious and the best we've eaten in the Allgäu! Fantastic.

The view from the terrace is breathtaking. However, the food and drinks aren't for those on a tight budget. So we only had a coffee; we brought the rest with us.

Since it's apparently normal to charge unusual prices at the top of a mountain, we're giving it a full complement of stars here. Why? Precisely because of the ambiance. Incredibly gorgeous views, especially when the Nebelhorn isn't shrouded in fog.

Amazingly low prices for an otherwise not-so-cheap region. The view is simply amazing. 400 peaks within easy reach. It was quick, and the beer was delicious.

I recently stopped by the bar area of ​​the Nebelhorn 2224 summit restaurant just for a drink – and that alone made the visit absolutely worthwhile. The upper terrace is a real highlight: modern in design, with lots of glass, stylish furniture, and a breathtaking panoramic view of the Allgäu Alps. You feel like you're looking directly up at the sky. In good weather, it's an incomparable place to linger. The bar area is tastefully decorated and well organized. Even though it's a self-service concept – which isn't usually my cup of tea – it fits well into the overall concept here. Everything ran smoothly, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I found the price absolutely reasonable for the location – after all, you're sitting at one of the most spectacular altitudes in Germany. A cold drink with this view? Sometimes that's all you need. In conclusion: Anyone visiting the Nebelhorn should definitely not miss the upper terrace of the summit restaurant – whether for a meal or simply for a drink with a deluxe Alpine panorama.

There used to be a rustic hut at the summit station. It had to make way for a self-service restaurant. "A sign of the times," unfortunately. There was plenty of room for visitors, but the atmosphere was sadly lost.

Relatively inflexible regarding breakfast times. Since we had to rely on the bus, everything was a bit hectic. The room was extremely warm, no air conditioning, but otherwise everything was fine.

Food trays are cleared too quickly. Please leave after eating. That's how it seems. But otherwise, great!

Great view. The ski slopes below were wide, sparsely populated, and looked very slippery, but I had drunk too much, so I decided to skip skiing. I decided to enjoy the scenery.

We took the cable car up and down. The weather was great at the top and the view was magnificent. Not cheap at just under €51 per person, but the view is worth it.

This special place is magical. We were fascinated. We enjoyed our break, Aperol and mulled wine, in high winds. The climb to the summit with this view is breathtaking.

A very friendly boss, good home cooking, would be happy to come back at any time.

The Schupfnudeln were excellent. But the service is totally bad. There is only one cash register and one ticket office, so there is a huge queue and you have to wait a long time. Then you get a beeper, but it doesn't work on the upper floor, so you have to wait forever next to the cash register. A bad system.

Great views whether indoors or outdoors. Very friendly service and a modern restaurant.

Food is excellent, even a vegan options on the menu, choice of beverages (e.g. wine) is not good. Interior looks good, but is super uncomfortable. Self service is okay, very common in those mountain bars, however, there is one cashier operating in high season - no go. No usb-c charger, no freshly grounded pepper, shelfs to put clothes and particularly helmets just designed to small in some areas, Espresso watery, „Obstler“ without fruit. All the little things which make the difference are missing…I don’t get it… Total waste of time and money but the food.

I've been climbing the Nebelhorn for 15 years. Always on my birthday. Of course, the summit is the goal and the summit station is also super awesome. But the break with beer and the second gentian here at the Höfatsstation is a must. The people here are simply fantastic 🤩 All right, take care

It was very busy and there was a long wait but the view is amazing.

The perfect panoramic view of all the Alps. We were lucky with the weather. Although there were a lot of people on the way, the waiting time for the last stage to the summit cross was quite short. Nice service.
