I've been climbing the Nebelhorn for 15 years. Always on my birthday. Of course, the summit is the goal and the summit station is also super awesome. But the break with beer and the second gentian here at the Höfatsstation is a must. The people here are simply fantastic 🤩 All right, take care

The perfect panoramic view of all the Alps. We were lucky with the weather. Although there were a lot of people on the way, the waiting time for the last stage to the summit cross was quite short. Nice service.

It was very busy and there was a long wait but the view is amazing.

Great ambience, when the weather is nice you can spend a long time on the sun terrace.

The view is sensational. It's self-service in the restaurant and we sat at the bar. There were crowds everywhere that day. You have to make compromises. It's all ok.

Very nice place with an extremely nice team

Enjoyed great Kaiserschmarren with a great view - I think the modern system with the Bieper, where the food is then brought to the table, is great. The ambience is also nice - modern chic and yet cozy. Only ordering food takes an unusually long time if there are a few people in front of you in line - that might need to be organized a little better. The Kaiserschmarren was very tasty and freshly prepared! Prices as high as the mountain - haha!

Positive surprise - we didn't expect such a tasty meal and such a plate language. Maybe we still had some cliché thinking, but that was quickly taken away from us. We were impressed by the decor, the friendly service and especially the food. The price-performance ratio, especially when it comes to the food, is perfect. Highly recommended.

Prices are a bit high for entry. The view is beautiful!! Plus a delicious beer after the climb on foot.

Of course the food up here isn't cheap, but it's reasonably priced under these conditions and you actually get good food in decent portions. The Kaiserschmarrn, for example, always seems to be made fresh.

There was a selection of cake left over and it tasted great too. You can't do anything about the weather, I ordered it well😉

We were on the Nebelhorn today and were shocked at how built-up the summit is. This is mass tourism in its worst form, sustainability is a foreign word. It may be that food and drinks are okay here - we didn't test it because we would rather enjoy nature in a place like this and so we left as quickly as possible. At least I can say that the toilets were clean. But it's terrible to see what has been done to this great mountain.

It's just a restaurant like you'd find at many such sights, but what's special is the breathtaking view. Absolutely a must when visiting Oberstdorf.

Great restaurant, as soon as you walk in you are greeted by a lady dressed in traditional costumes. Gladly again Great food selection. The chef cooked just as well. Delicious food, gladly again.

The staff at the checkout is in a bad mood and taciturn The buttermilk 0.5 liters. costs €4.90 and tastes like it was diluted with water. Of course it is more expensive on the mountain, but the quality should also be good. In town you pay €2.00 at Schönegger - and the milk is full-bodied.

Had my first coffee here at 9am. Everything is fine, fantastic view but 4.60 for a coffee is a lot

I didn't eat in the summit restaurant. The staff were friendly and the cakes on display looked very inviting. The beer I ordered came promptly and tasted great.

Everything was great except for the fog

You can walk around the entire summit and have a great view. Unfortunately it was very cold that day and we couldn't use the beautiful terrace.

Great view to the Zugspitze when the weather is nice, long queues to the mountain station at peak times, waiting time around 25 minutes as there are only 2 gondolas available

Always worth a visit if you are in Oberstdorf

We all really enjoyed the Nebelhorn at the top. The restaurant was beautiful. There was a large selection of food and warm drinks to drink and there was also coffee and cake. There was also white sausage breakfast, it looked very tasty. The special tasted very good. It was a really great trip that the Biberach district office planned for us.

A tiny handful of sausage salad for €9.90. Is it made with gold plating? If that was an example bowl, don't be surprised if no one buys it ;-) Coffee for 4.90. Not without it either. The view is great. I can't judge the service staff because we just enjoyed the view and then went to the Edmund Prost Haus for coffee. The restaurant makes a clean impression.

We can't say anything about food and drink! Still a very nice place with a breathtaking view.

You can enjoy a snack and/or drink here with a great view. On the expensive side. But everyone, everything has to go up. Unfortunately I have to say that the snitzel was dry and tough and certainly not up to the German quality I am used to. The rest was fine. The few Souvenirs available here are not expensive.

Perhaps offering one of the most beautiful and dramatic vista of any restaurant on the planet. A really welcomed experience / service / place to sit, thaw out and take in the beauty of the Bavarian alps, from the Nebelhorn, in comfort. Much cheaper than I was expecting also. Just jaw dropping, could have sat there for hours. Food and drink options are limited and I heard it can get very busy but thankfully it was really quiet when I went (mid-week, mid-day, January).

Delicious food, friendly staff, a priceless view

We each had a Kaiserschmarren here. It was really extremely tasty. Thanks to the long waiting time, it was clear that this was freshly prepared and not just warmed up. You could definitely taste that. The drinks are also available in reasonable sizes and do not have to be fetched several times in small glasses. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The view from the terraces was beautiful. Everything seemed very organized and modern. With the light wood it is still cozy and not at all cool. It's definitely worth a trip there.

Take the gondola all the way to the top of the Nebelhorn to experience the most beautiful view over the mountains - this is where it comes true! You have a beautiful view and the restaurant has something to suit everyone. Price-performance is very important here! We'd love to come back to eat the delicious Kaiserschmarrn and enjoy the great view. Also a must for skiers for lunch :-)

Built into the highest peak at Oberstdorf, this is an excellent viewpoint, full restaurant, and coffee bar. If you're an American skier you're going to love this place.

Incredibly beautiful decor, great views, very friendly service. Not exactly cheap, but that is due to the requirements for the operation and is appropriate. We had Kaiserschmarn, apple strudel, potato salad, cheese spaetzle.

Prices high, but excellent quality and very attractively served. I didn't expect that and it was better than 2 years ago.

Top!! Of course the prices are slightly higher, but everything has to be delivered up there first ;) and then not more expensive compared to the rest of Oberstdorf.

Wir haben hier nur etwas getrunken. Es gibt frische Buttermikch und die Lage ist einmalig mit sensationellen Ausblicken.

Der Ort an sich ist sehr schön. Bei guten Wetter ein wunderbares Panorama. Das Restaurant an sich sehr stylish eingerichtet mit zahlreichen Sitzmöglichkeiten aussen. Die Speisen und Getränke bei unserem Besuch waren gar nichts. Furchtbar teuer, langweilig, keine Finesse etc. wie auf anderen Berghütten. Das Personal sehr bemüht. Wir kommen wieder, aber nicht zur Einkehr.

Ganz fantastisch dort oben und ein grandioser Rundumblick! Alles sauber und modern. Die Bedienungen sind äußerst freundlich und aufmerksam. Und der Kaffee und Cappuccino waren exzellent. Lohnt sich absolut!

Endlich mal ein Gipfelrestaurant ohne Pommes, Schnitzel und Currywurst. Stattdessen gibt es Wild, Fisch und Rösti. Das Essen ist zwar entsprechend teurer, dennoch passen Preis und Leistung. Das Essen war einfach lecker!

Sehr leckerer Kuchen zu stolzen Preisen. Meine Frau und ich haben jeweils nur etwas getrunken und die Kids einen Kuchen gegessen. Der Kuchen war allerdings sehr lecker. Selbstbedienung……

Es gab leckeren Kuchen und Kaffee im SB-Restaurant. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Die Aussicht vom Nebelhorn und auch von dessen Nordwandsteig ist spektakulär. Wir hatten sogar Glück, dass wir trotz dem aufgezogenen Gewitter gute Sicht hatten und sozusagen das Schauspiel genießen konnten.

I didn't like this restaurant very much. Not very friendly service, there are a lot of visitors, and there is practically nowhere to sit. Paragliders take up entire benches for their gear. But everything else is good. The view from the platform is wonderful. You can enjoy the launch of paragliders.
