Gemütliches Restaurant, mit herzlicher und freundlicher Atmosphäre!!! Wir kommen so oft her und es ist jedes Mal eine Freude😍 das Essen ist köstlich! Einfach heimelig!

Wo soll ich beim Schanzen Stüble anfangen.... Das Schanzen Stüble gehört für uns schon zu einem Stammlokal wenn wir in Oberstdorf sind!!! Man fühlt sich hier einfach wohl. Das Essen ist super und der Service steht dem in nichts nach. Vor allem gibt es immer nette Gespräche mit dem Wirt der uns ab dem zweiten Jahr seit wir hier her kommen wieder erkennt. Was ich echt bemerkenswert finde, wenn man überlget wie viele verschiedene Gäste hier das ganze Jahr über kommen. Hier fühlt es sich wie nach Hause kommen an. Hier gehen wir nicht nur einmal während unserem Aufenthalt zum Essen. Was ich auch erwähnen möchte, selbst unsere Kinder freuen sich schon immer auf das Schanzen Stüble!!!

Sehr leckeres Essen, gute Portionen und faire Preise. Außerdem super Service. Man kann drinnen oder draußen auf der Terrasse sitzen. Wir kommen immer wieder hier hin wenn wir in Oberstdorf sind weil man einfach sicher sein kann dass es gut schmeckt qualitativ hochwertig ist man satt wird und sich wohl fühlt. Grüße aus Schwaben

Wir kommen seit Jahren immer wieder in dieses Restaurant. Der Wirt ist immer freundlich und zuvorkommend, kennt uns mit Namen, sowie unsere Getränkewünsche. Diese Gaststätte ist auch ein Grund weshalb wir immer wieder in Oberstdorf Urlaub machen. Vielen Dank für alles!

Ein Geheimtipp!!! Sehr leckeres Essen. Top Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Tolles Personal, sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Waren über Himmelfarth im Kurzurlaub und zweimal dort Essen. Beide Male absolute Spitzenqualität was das Essen betrifft. Wirklich Empfehlenswert.

Ein bisschen wie die nette Kneipe von nebenan, entgegen den anderen Bewertungen war es sehr leer und ich musste definitiv nicht reservieren. Sehr nette Bedienung das Schnitzel war vielleicht ein bisschen sehr scharf, aber insgesamt alles in Ordnung.

Auf die Frage, ob man einen Schirm öffnen könne, damit man im Schatten sitzen würde, kam eine Verneinung. Begründung des älteren Herren: der nächste will wieder in der Sonne sitzen. Lösungsvorschlag: man solle an der Südseite des Hauses am wenig stabilen Tisch Platz nehmen, welcher noch im Schatten sei. Dies hatte sich innerhalb von 20min auf natürlichen Wege in einen Sonnenplatz entwickelt. Mein leichter Sonnenbrand wurde Thema der Begrüßung... Das Hühnchen war ok, 4* aber nicht. Beim nächsten Oberstdorf Besuch werde ich mir woanders einen Schatten Platz suchen...

Tolle Speisen für Gute Preise... Es war wieder toll. Wir kommen wieder.

Wir waren auf der Suche nach einem guten Schnitzel und wurden kulinarisch tatsächlich fündig. Geschmacklich war das Essen überzeugend, daran gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Leider wurde der positive Eindruck durch mehrere Punkte deutlich getrübt. Zum einen ist die Atmosphäre im Innenraum wenig einladend: Das Licht ist extrem hell und erinnert eher an eine Krankenhausbeleuchtung als an ein gemütliches Restaurantambiente. Gravierender war jedoch die Situation beim Bezahlen. Uns wurde nach dem Essen mitgeteilt, dass ausschließlich Barzahlung möglich sei. Da wir zu dritt waren, mehrere Hauptgerichte und Bier bestellt hatten, führten wir nicht ausreichend Bargeld mit. Kartenzahlung sei laut Servicepersonal aufgrund eines neuen Kartenlesegeräts angeblich nicht möglich. Diese Erklärung erschien uns bereits fragwürdig, wurde aber mehrfach den zwei Kellnern bestätigt. Alternative Vorschläge wie PayPal wurden ebenfalls kategorisch abgelehnt. Stattdessen wurde verlangt, einen Ausweis zu hinterlegen, was in der Situation völlig unangemessen war. Die Situation eskalierte schließlich, als ich vorschlug, das neue Kartenlesegerät einfach zu testen. Die Kartenzahlung per Handy funktionierte sofort und problemlos. Damit wurde offensichtlich, dass wir zuvor falsch informiert worden waren. Dieses Vorgehen war nicht nur peinlich für das Lokal, sondern vor allem ärgerlich und respektlos gegenüber den Gästen. Am Ende blieb ein sehr unangenehmer Gesamteindruck. Gutes Essen allein reicht leider nicht aus, wenn Transparenz, Serviceorientierung und Ehrlichkeit fehlen. Schade, denn das hätte sich leicht vermeiden lassen.

Wir haben spontan einen Tisch bekommen, aber normalerweise sollte man reservieren. Sehr nette und aufmerksame Bedienung, Essen ist alles hausgemacht und sehr lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Kleines, aber feines Restaurant. Nur frische und regionale Produkte. Wir waren schon öfters dort und sind nie reingefallen. Sonderwünsche wurden auch anstandslos erledigt (Kerze, usw...) Nur zu empfehlen, Preis-Leistung passt absolut. Der Wirt hat ne Berliner Schnauze😂🤣

Ich war am 12.10.2025 mit meinen Freunden in der Gaststätte Schanzenstüble. Fühlte mich sehr gut .Habe sehr lecker gegessen . Kann es nur Empfehlen wenn ich wieder bei meinen Freunden in Burgberg bin möchte ich das Lockal wieder Besuchen

Netter Empfang und super Essen, es gibt wirklich noch Leute die Spaß beim arbeiten haben, diese Freude auch mit dem Gast teilen und man herzlich bedient wird. Das Essen war sehr gut und bezahlbar. Somit alles richtig 👍

Very unfriendly towards strangers. I wasn't allowed to park in one place, even though it was legal. They tried to tell me some nonsense while acting very friendly. It's a disgrace!

We decided at short notice to order dessert after reading the menu outside. (We actually didn't want to eat at all.) We opted for yeast dumplings, Kaiserschmarrn, and Aperol Spritz and Strawberry Spritz. Everything was delicious, very tasty. The service was very friendly, and it was very cozy outside. We'd be happy to come back and order a main course.

Whenever we're in Oberstdorf, we always visit the Schanzenstüble. We were thrilled this time, too. The salad with mountain cheese is very good, as is the spit roast. We'd be happy to go back next time. Old Post 2 I was at the Schanzenstüble again. I really enjoyed it again. I'd be happy to go again. Old Post 1 A great restaurant right below the ski jump. Good, home-style food. Huge portions and delicious, for those who like that kind of food, and for a reasonable price. The owners are super nice. We felt really welcome. We'd be happy to go back.

Good home cooking, friendly staff, good value for money

Unfriendly landlord refuses to let paying customers (a family with children) in during a thunderstorm. Everything was free.

A very small, very cozy, very great, and very delicious restaurant/parlor. Reservations are a good idea, as it's only a few seats. The staff and chef are very friendly, and no request is denied. We'll go back anytime, and not just once.

A small, lovingly run restaurant below the Nebelhornbahn cable car. You can sit outside or inside. Due to the very changeable weather this year, we were able to try both. We ate there twice; the schnitzels are freshly pounded in the kitchen. The prices and quantity are great. The owner is happy to take the time for a quick chat.

Arriving today, we thought we'd check out the ski jumps first and then have a nice meal. We found this restaurant on Google, and since the reviews were so good, we stopped in. It was so delicious, the service was super friendly, and even the chef asked how we were. The prices are absolutely reasonable, and the ambiance is super nice. This won't be the last time we've been there during our vacation 🤗 Update: Today: Sunday, July 27th. We were here again because it's just so incredibly delicious. And we promptly booked another table for Friday... then there will be new photos.

Great value for money for the region, the schnitzel is pounded, was tasty and plentiful, friendly service, easy reservation, small dining room, beer garden expands the seating area in summer, in the beer garden you would have to lend a hand with the weeds on the pavement and the flower boxes

You feel welcome from the very first moment. The ambiance is beautiful, cozy, and designed with great attention to detail. And the food? Simply delicious – fresh, regional, and truly tasty. If you're in the Allgäu region, you should definitely stop here!

So far okay. Reservations can be made quickly by telephone. However, it was suggested that the restaurant was busy, which later turned out to be the opposite. Service was very friendly and accommodating. The food was good, but could use a little more freshness and nicer presentation, hence only three stars. Price performance okay. The ambience is simple. Restaurant is within walking distance. Parking at the restaurant is possible.

We came across the Schanzen Stüberl by chance (unfortunately just before we left). The welcome from the boss was very warm and we immediately felt completely at home. The furnishings inside are not necessarily up to date, but they are clean and not uncomfortable. The outside area is very nicely designed. But now to the most important thing. The food selection is appealing, including Bavarian dishes. We had the Bergsteiger Schnitzel and Cordon Bleu. Both very large portions, but also excellent in terms of taste. No pressed-together schnitzel meat, but really tasty butcher quality and at an excellent price-performance ratio. We really enjoyed it and will definitely be visiting here more often next year. We clearly recommend stopping off

It's all delicious and at a price that I find hard to believe is profitable for them. The man who runs the place does not speak English, but it has been very easy to understand him. I was looking for an authentic restaurant in the area and without a doubt, I was right.

We had a nice stay, the food was very tasty, I had the Jägerschnitzel. The reason I deducted a star is because the spaetzle wasn't homemade like it said on the menu.

I had the hunter's roast. The roast was very tender, with the hunter's sauce you could see that it was made from light and dark sauce, the mushrooms were not spared and the overall portion was very satisfying. Afterwards there was a delicious, mild apricot schnapps on the house. The host and the waitress were very relaxed and there was one or two friendly jokes. There isn't really much space inside, so it might make sense to call or, ideally, make a reservation in advance, but it would also be worth waiting for a seat. Overall, definitely high praise!

With the house's recommendation, I ordered the Jägerschnitzel here. The schnitzel itself had a very good thickness but was perfectly cooked and very tender! Full 5 stars for the schnitzel!!! There was also a creamy hunter's sauce (not very dark, but mixed light and dark) with fresh mushrooms (5 stars). There was also spaetzle (not egg spaetzle (grated) but the longer form, if necessary pressed and tossed through the pan with butter (a bit too dry for me personally but the amount of mushroom sauce made up for it 3 stars) but only 3 stars overall, Since the salad garnish was very dry and sparse and the salad dressing was very tasteless, there was still room for improvement. It seemed as if all the love had been put into the schnitzel from the description "Jägerschnitzel" and the side dishes were "thrown" into it Absolutely recommended. The side dishes (including the spaetzle are home-made and something different is also fine). Very, very friendly staff and a nice, clean and small atmosphere 5 stars each. Overall 4 stars

Nice little restaurant with a nice atmosphere. The food was very tasty. The senior manager was very friendly and accommodating. I forgot my baseball cap there on the last day of vacation. I noticed it at home. The next day I called and asked if I had left it there. That's how it was. I gave my address and within a few days I had it at home. Thank you very much for that. I will definitely visit the Schanzenstüble again the next time I visit Oberstdorf.
