I always enjoy ordering from the Darmstädter Schnitzelhaus, especially the turkey schnitzel with salad, and I'm never disappointed! The schnitzel is always tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, and the salad is fresh and crisp. The portions are generous, so you can eat until you're really full. The service is always friendly, attentive, and helpful, which makes the meal even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is cozy, whether you eat in or order takeout. For me, the Schnitzelhaus is definitely a place I return to again and again. I highly recommend it to all schnitzel lovers!

Dear Sir or Madam, Several mailboxes in our building, including mine, have a clearly visible "No Advertising" sign. Nevertheless, on September 30, 2025, you posted unaddressed advertising mail. I hereby inform you that posting advertising despite clear notices constitutes a violation of Section 7 of the German Act Against Unfair Competition (UWG). Please refrain from delivering such mail to any mailboxes marked accordingly in the future. Should such unsolicited mail occur again, I and my neighbors will contact the Consumer Protection Agency and take legal action. Sincerely, Christian

I ordered from the Schnitzelhaus Darmstadt for the first time. The reviews scared me a bit, but I thought I'd give the restaurant a chance. I can't understand the negative reviews at all. The schnitzel and fried potatoes were incredibly delicious, and the driver was even incredibly punctual and very friendly. 5 stars + from me

I ordered here for the first time about 2.5 months ago and have been back several times since... Everything was top-notch! Very tasty sauces for the schnitzel and pasta. Large portions. Super polite, fast delivery, and everything always arrived hot. Keep up the good work :-) Thanks

Since pork schnitzel is no longer available, the quality has been substandard. I have no idea what that was on the pizza, but it had nothing to do with cheese. Too bad... It was always delicious back then.

Well, we were a bit confused. We thought it was a restaurant, but it's actually just a delivery service, so the atmosphere was more like a delivery business. The food was great, though!

Highly recommended, very tasty, quick preparation time. I've been there several times and the food has always been delicious, both the schnitzels and the pizzas. The people are very pleasant, friendly, and always up for a laugh. The XL portions are very large and highly recommended. I've always been very full with the super delicious food.

Twice within a week, huge flyers were placed in all mailboxes, even though most of them clearly had "no solicitation" signs. These are now flying everywhere, and the same is true of neighboring houses. Massive environmental pollution.

They simply throw out advertisements, even though it's quite clear that we don't want any, and they only throw them in places where no one lives. So they read the information and just wanted to get rid of their flyers!

"No advertising"? Apparently just a warning, because advertising was still thrown in.

This is one of the worst restaurants I've ever eaten in. The atmosphere is acceptable and the server was nice, but we got a frozen pizza or something. The sauce on the schnitzel we ordered was absolutely tasteless, and the balsamic vinegar on the side was also completely inappropriate. We were also given prices that included delivery and not for eating in.

The food was okay, but nothing more. Two hours of delivery was unacceptable, and the schnitzel came without salad. We won't order again. First and last time. A shame.

Such a "please no advertising" sign is difficult to interpret

My neighbors and I constantly receive junk mail in our mailboxes, and we're being harassed, even though it specifically states, "Please do not post junk mail." It's annoying!

Despite the sign on our mailbox saying "no advertising please," we regularly receive advertising flyers!

What is the point of intrusive advertising when none is wanted?

We had schnitzel delivered to us. Were very satisfied. Took 45 minutes as promised. Food was hot, and as others have already described, quite filling. We will definitely order here again.

Both schnitzels were raw. Honestly, for an order of €40.69, I expect something different, like throwing a Cordon Bleu in the deep fryer, where the breading falls off and the veal is still bloody. Likewise, I don't expect a bloody schnitzel from a turkey Bolognese schnitzel. I had the same thing about a year ago, a raw schnitzel, and thought it would be better this time. Nope, that was another lesson learned. I'll never order from there again. Raw poultry, in particular, is really not acceptable.

If you don't expect a restaurant with a lot of space and are only interested in the food, you definitely have to go to the Darmstädter Schnitzelhaus. The portions are so big that you fill up really well.

Ordered food (schnitzel) again today. Unfortunately this time it was nothing at all. Schnitzel with stewed onions and mushrooms. Large pieces of onion were almost raw, fries were undercooked and the salad had almost no dressing.

The Darmstädter Schnitzelhaus is simply great! The selection of schnitzel dishes is huge and the portions are more than generous. The food always arrives hot and fresh, and the taste is fantastic. The sauces in particular are a highlight – spicy and perfectly balanced. The delivery service is fast and friendly, and the quality is consistently high. If you're a schnitzel lover, you'll get your money's worth here. Absolute recommendation!

Never again!!! Ordering was supposed to take 1 hour, after 1.5 hours we were told it would be sent out straight away. After 2 hours it supposedly just came out. When the food finally arrived, it was lukewarm.

I didn't even order a salad. Also, the salad was really oily and too moist, meaningless. The food wasn't spicy either, even though I mentioned it specifically. Accordingly, I cannot recommend this.

The food is really good but I don't think I've ever had someone so unfriendly on the phone. No hello, no goodbye and no apology (still waiting for the food 1:30 hours after ordering). I understand that there's a lot going on at the weekend and it can take a little longer, but communicating so rudely is disgusting.

We have now ordered for the second time and are satisfied. The prices for the schnitzels are a little higher, but the prices for the casseroles, for example, are definitely lower than at other restaurants. Fast delivery. Very large schnitzel, the minced meat mixture on it was okay, next time there will be a Viennese schnitzel. The broccoli and potato casserole was also convincing the second time. We will definitely order again.

We can only highly recommend the Schnitzelhaus Darmstadt branch in Pfungstadt, the food is top quality, great delivery, very friendly!! Will eat there often.

The pizza tasted okay, but there was no taste of the actual hollandaise sauce that was ordered. Personally, there was a bit too much cheese on the pizza for me.

Had the food delivered. Very tasty and delivered quickly. The driver was also very nice.

Dirty shop. Every time I order something something is wrong. Once the tomato in the salad was old. Another time the fries were probably packed into the Styrofoam box too hot and it melted in places. This time there was a hair under my schnitzel. And at some point I was thrown an old flyer where the prices weren't right. They had the same outdated flyer lying around on site. Simply unprofessional.

Large schnitzel that didn't just consist of breading. The large mixed salad with olives and pepperoni was a decent portion, enough for 2 people. The food was very tasty. The delivery came exactly at the requested time. I thought the prices were fair for what you get. I was very satisfied!

You make really tasty schnitzels with great variations. But a vegetarian version would be nice too! And super fast delivery!

The food came relatively quickly, unfortunately the wrong schnitzel was delivered. So I called the restaurant straight away and explained what went wrong. The gentleman on the phone was very friendly and solution-oriented, which is why we quickly came to a solution. After about half an hour the desired Cordonbleu arrived, so without exaggerating, the fact that Cordonbleu fit into the delivery tray was a miracle. That means the thing was gigantic and very tasty. The driving staff was also super nice, I would be happy to do it again. Ps: The wrong schnitzel was also on the house!!!!!

Wiener Schnitzel for over 16 euros was fried to death. Dust dry. The fried potatoes are too salty and the fries are still floury and raw. In the restaurant the food would have been completely reduced! I would be interested to know if the chef tried his food or would even eat it himself?! Never again!

Ordered 2 veal schnitzels and 1 cooked cheese schnitzel. The colleague got diarrhea after the cooked cheese schnitzel.. the veal schnitzel looked like 2 slices of breaded ham.. raw.. one colleague didn't eat it at all, the other vomited after eating it. and a colleague had pasta with tomato sauce that was after 2 spoonfuls It's bad..all the meals were thrown away..The shop should be closed!

I ordered schnitzel with fried potatoes twice. It tasted very good every time. There is nothing to complain about.

Arrived 15 minutes later, pizza bread with garlic, no garlic, no oregano, not at all.... ended up straight in the trash. So I'm sorry but never again.

The experience with this restaurant was extremely disappointing. Delivery service took over 2 hours, calls were ignored and the overall experience was disastrous. It would be desirable not to be able to award any stars. I can't recommend this poor performance - think twice before ordering here.

Very tasty schnitzel, eaten several times, will eat again

The schnitzels taste and smell like cheap, old fat. In the city, it is increasingly being observed that delivery staff are ignoring traffic rules and thereby endangering others.

There is no comparison to what it used to be 2 years ago…. Schnitzel raw... And there are no more pork schnitzels to choose from, so everything has changed for the worse!

2,5 Stunden nach der Bestellung keinerlei Rückmeldung und auch kein Essen geliefert!! Dazu Preiserhöhung wie bei jedem Laden. Da war der Service mal gut, hoch ist hier hier nur der Preis. Kann dementsprechend nicht mehr empfohlen werden.

Ich habe Online bestellt um 17.20 Uhr, es kam auch gleich eine Email das meine Bestellung eingegangen ist und bearbeitet wird. Um 18.35 Uhr habe ich im Restaurant angerufen und habe gefragt ob sie meine Bestellung erhalten haben und wenn ja wie lange es noch dauert? Der Mann am Telefon sagte welche Straße? Die habe ich ihm dann gesagt, er dann wieder 20-25 Min. Um 19.50 Uhr habe ich dann beschlossen dort anzurufen und es abzubrstellen. Er hat mich gleich unterbrochen und hat wieder nach der Straße gefragt. Habe ich ihm wieder gesagt, darauf er das Essen müßte gleich bei Ihnen eintreffen der Fahrer ist unterwegs. Distanz zwischen Restaurant und der Lieferadresse sind 6,9 km. Ich kann das Schnitzelhaus leider nicht mehr weiter empfehlen nach 2 Stunden und 50 Minuten kam dann unser Essen. Sorry für die negative Bewertung aber das geht garnicht.

Es wurde 1 schnitzel mehr als bestellt geliefert und natürlich auch berechnet bei Rückfragen im Restaurant keine Einsicht das der Fehler auf Ihrer Seite lag ausserdem fehlte beim Burger Menü das Getränk.

Essen kam mit viel Verspätung an. Zu den Schnitzel hatten wir eine Pizza bestellt mit einer extra Zutat die berechnet wurde aber nicht drauf war. Die Pizza war auch noch Roh und wir mussten sie selber im Ofen fertig backen. Die Schnitzel waren alle kalt. Der Lieferant war total unfreundlich und aggressiv weil wir nur aufgerundet haben und er nur 20 Cent Trinkgeld bekommen hat. Wir wurden richtig beleidigt das wir doch so reiche Menschen sind und das er immer 5-6 Euro Trinkgeld gibt. Einfach eine Frechheit dieser Service. Leider kann man hier keine minus Punkte geben. Nie wieder bestellen wir dort!

Super bestell nur zum liefern jedes mal mega lecker schon zig Varianten probiert, roh war es wie andere oft schreiben noch nie. Einzig die pommes finde ich nicht so gut da dann doch lieber Kroketten

Essen schmeckt okay, Schnitzel ist top! Lieferzeit beträgt circa 1 Stunde mal mehr mal weniger. Sehr freundliche Fahrer. Bestelle gerne dort.
