Excelente Trattoria. Disfrutamos de la ensalada capri para compartir con aceitunas de cortesía y pan caliente del horno. Esto fue seguido por pizza, que era absolutamente enorme! Rebosante del plato y la lasaña más bonita que he probado. Terminando con tiramasu y yo habíamos hecho té de menta recién hecho, y mi prometido tenía aparol y limón de cortesía Un poco pero de Italia pura en Alemania. Defo recomendado

I was a bit disappointed, since the pictures and reviews were promising. But the food is just standard without any special herbs or any wow effect. Carbonara with cheese , veggies with no taste. The pizza was very nice. If in the area for a quick bite = OK, but not for a nice dinner in my opinion. The waiter was nice , but had no time for any kind of extra serv ie, since he was in his own.

We have been here 3 times and the food was perfect but the waiter was racist, he charged us 11 euros more because he felt like it and he insulted us numerous times and then pushed us away. We never go back

The food is good but one of the waiters tried to kick us out of the place for ordering coffee and not giving him €14 as a tip. We asked him for explanations and he began to growl and make gestures of hitting us on the head with the water bottle. He made the local people understand that we were Spanish scammers with the aim of humiliating us. It is a shame that they despise other people because of their culture or skin color. Both pizza and pasta were so delicious.. Especially the pizza dough was so delicious that I ate it all! It's really enough for 4 people to order 2 pasta and a pizza! The clerk was pleasant and the service was good, but there was a bit of a hard tip. I paid 63 euros, but he said 70 euros and made me pay. But the service was friendly, so it was okay!

I wasn't going to put this review because my son left his coat here and we came back the next day and they kept it for us but I feel I left feeling I had been taken advantage of. I went here for lunch with my 2 sons and just me, the bill came to 35 euros and the waiter typed 40 euros into the card machine leaving me no choice. When we went back to collect coat which again I was very grateful they kept we had a drink as a way of showing gratitude, admittedly my son is autistic and was playing with the paper napkins on the table but when I asked for bill at 10.40 euros he asked for cash which I didn't have so he said minimum on card 15 euros. I am sorry but I have never heard of 15 euro minimum on card in Berlin, we used card constantly under this amount. I feel he took advantage because I was a single mum alone with her 2 children. The other waiters was very lovely and friendly and I will say the food was good too.

We were guests with 15 people... what can I say: we promptly had the drinks and the food. Mega large pizzas and the largest calzone I've ever seen - the pasta was also very tasty... the waiters were nice and typical of an Italian restaurant. One star deducted because it is very loud when it is full and the kitchen noises because it is open to the guests - but that way you have nothing to hide...

The food is excellent and so is the service. The ambience inside is super authentic and cozy, the narrow seating doesn't bother you at all, only the outside area is a bit too narrow so you don't really feel comfortable. Definitely recommended

We were here as a group of six people. The ambience is inviting and pleasant. The service was very friendly and courteous. The menu is very extensive. All dishes are freshly prepared and very tasty. All in all a very nice evening. Highly recommended!

Food good but service very bad. We would have to wait a very long time for the tickets. The service was very unfriendly and a tip was required when paying.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was perfect to enjoy a good lunch with the family or with some friends. The decoration is colorful and definitely goes with the Italian cuisine that they serve. We ordered pasta, all three of our dishes were fantastic and arrived pretty quickly, the flavors were intense but with just the right amount of spices, honorable mention to the salmon and the chicken and mushrooms sauce, which were delicious. The price of the dishes is absolutely worth it. The only thing that could improve is the service, it felt like they were constantly in a rush even though there weren’t many people.

We found a nice and attentive waiter, so our experience with the service was ok. However, the calzone pizza was burnt on the bottom and a lot of raw dough on the top, especially on one side. Margherita completely average.

Great service from atmospheric Italians. The food was very good, we ordered Margarita, penne pasta with vege sauce, lasagne, chicken salad and vegetable soup. It was delicious. Best regards!

Waiter was a piece of work, too forever to seat us, take our order and payment. After the terrible service he then had the nerve to try and force me to pay a massive tip. I was originally going to tip cash and pay card but after I had to fight him for 5 minutes to remove the charge he got nothing. I would never go back, the food was okay but that was the worst service experience I’ve had yet.

Kurzfristig am Silvesterabend einen Tisch bekommen, trotzdem sehr entspannteer Abend. Die Bude war voll, aber der Service hat nicht gelitten. Die Portionen sind ein wenig zu groß, was ich immer sehr schade finde. Qualitativ alles in Ordnung. Vielleicht ein bisschen teuer, deshalb ein Stern abzug. Aber alles in allem empfehlenswert.

We come from Cologne and came to Da Vinci on a recommendation. Absolutely recommended! The nice Mr. Guido served us, the service was great and he was also very polite. Food came very quickly and tasted great. Happy to come back 🙂

Very nice restaurant with very honest and friendly staff. I was advised against a starter because the pizza was too big. I was very grateful for this tip. The food isn't cheap, but considering the portion size and the taste, that's acceptable. Gladly again.

We ate here for the first time. The reception was friendly and the restaurant was already busy. Food and drinks are a bit more expensive, but that's understandable given the location. The food was good, we had sole, pizza and lasagne. Something was missing from the fish, the service immediately offered to bring the food back or bring in what was missing. We can't complain about the service, we didn't try to add a tip on our own. There is only one star deduction for the table space. We sat in the winter garden and every now and then it felt cold through the sash windows. There were heaters and blankets, but unfortunately they couldn't absorb everything. Nevertheless, it was a lovely culinary evening.

We are students at Humboldt University and were going to grab a quick bite to eat during our lunch break today. We had brought two cups of coffee that we had basically finished, but forgot to throw the cups away and we didn't take a single sip in the restaurant, only to be accosted rudely by the waiter! We were also forced to take a tip later! I would suggest that if you don't know what good service is, you shouldn't open a restaurant in Berlin, after all, the city is not short of places to eat!

This place stands out for its exceptional quality and flavor among many similar restaurants. Unlike many others, it isn’t overcrowded or overbooked, even on a weekend night – walk-ins are usually welcome. There is an open kitchen and wood-fired pizza, the food is reasonably priced, yet the quality, presentation, and taste far surpass most similar Italian places in the area. They also have seasonal specials which are well worth a try. Highly recommend for a dinner in Mitte.

Pizza is big and okay but very expensive. The prices are disproportionately high due to the location and the number of tourists. There are heaters, but they are very loud so you can hardly have a conversation. It's probably okay.

The prices are definitely higher because of the location where many tourists pass by, but the pizzas are big and very decent actually. Service was not exceptionally good or bad and the interior I think was cozy I liked it.

Food and fast service, we have been twice and we will NOT return. When paying, one of the waiters decided to charge €8 more than the bill for his tip, without asking... when I realized that, I told him no, that the bill was €42 and that when paying by card it was €42, he canceled and came back. He put €50 in the card machine and he took the card from my husband's hands and passed it to him. I already told him no, that's not how things work... and he told me there was no problem and gave me back a €5 bill in cash. I find this waiter's gesture very strong. The first time another waiter served us and he did explain that we wanted to leave a tip, but in no case did he decide to charge it on his own. He didn't recommend that you go, if you go, be careful with these types of details if you don't realize it, they'll sneak it in. Normal food, abundant dishes. Bottle of water €7.50

As far as food is concerned, the dishes are abundant and of good quality, my negative review below, I find it regrettable what they did to me when paying, they marked the price of the food and a supplement of 5 on the dataphone euros as a tip which I do not authorize and, the good thing comes now, the waiter takes the credit card out of my hand and runs it through the dataphone without my consent... pathetic and embarrassing, evidently they returned the 5 to me euros. This was my first time visiting this restaurant. We entered and took a seat, and shortly after, a waiter with glasses came to take our order. My husband wanted to ask about a specific pasta dish to see if it could be served with chicken. However, while my husband was speaking, the waiter rudely interrupted him, saying, "Read the menu carefully," and walked away. His behavior was incredibly impolite, which upset both my husband and me. My husband suggested leaving immediately, but I was very hungry, and he had an appointment in half an hour, so we didn’t have time to look for another place. We stayed and ordered food, and I must say, the food was absolutely delicious. The pizza and pasta were top-notch. Despite the bad service from the waiter, I recommend this restaurant for the quality of the food. If it weren't for the waiter’s attitude, I would have rated it five stars. I plan to visit again, but if I experience such behavior again, I’ll make sure to report it directly to the chef.

I can't emphasize enough how much we appreciate our favorite restaurant! Every time we eat here the food gets better and better. The quality of the ingredients is outstanding and the dishes are always freshly prepared. The variety on the menu offers something for every taste and the creative combinations are simply fantastic. I would particularly like to highlight the friendly service, which always makes us feel welcome. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, which makes our visits even more enjoyable. We are already looking forward to our next visit and can only warmly recommend this restaurant!

Unfortunately not as expected. Not honest and friendly service, more interested in money. The food looked very good, but tasted a bit plain. We also felt very observed and would not dare to visit again.

Too expensive for what it is. Medium quality pizza. Ham cut too thick (should be very thin if it's supposed to be Italian) and of poor quality. Oversized pizza. Instead, make smaller pizzas with better ingredients!

Very nice Italian restaurant and very reasonably priced for the location and very large portions. It also tasted very good. Authentically for Berlin, you can hear the S-Bahn rattling over the restaurant, which gives it a big city feeling. From the higher seats you have a nice view of the kitchen and can watch how the food is prepared. Highly recommended!

Das Erlebnis im Restaurant war eher mangelhaft. Zum einen ist es in den Räumlichkeiten sehr laut, zum anderen war der Wirt ziemlich unfreundlich und barsch - eher Kantinenniveau. Die Pizza war gut, aber mit ca. 17 Euro auch sehr teuer. Ich kann das Lokal nicht weiterempfehlen, insbesondere wenn man einen schönen Abend erwartet und sich unterhalten möchte.

I went once and found it reasonable…. I came back because I was too lazy to walk any further… And it was terrible! Zero rating service! If you want bad service, go there :( And if you want to eat well and be well served, there are countless other options in the region!

Value for money a no go. I really like to spend money on good food, but this was at most a very average Italian restaurant with prices too high for what you received. 35 euros truffle pasta, which really wasn't a highlight. Carelessly prepared & way too much sauce. Pizza Stagioni was okay, but not worth 18 EUR. For these prices I expect a really excellent Italian, this one is rather mediocre. The two of us paid 120 euros for a shared starter (antipasti), 4 aperol spritzes (12 euros per drink) and a main course each. For really mediocre, really inattentive service. In addition, the ambience itself was nice at first glance, but upon closer inspection the benches, for example, were completely shabby and worn out. No recommendation.

Brilliant Italian restaurant in the arches of the railway bridge. We went at 6pm on a Tuesday, our waiter was very nice, the food was delicious. We had tagliatelle with chicken in a cream sauce, sea food pizza (they are huge!) and the special spaghetti with a tomato sauce and mussels. Three beers and mains was about €70

The Pizza diavolo was amazing. The attention was also great, and the experience overall was a five-star one. I went back for a new year's pizza again, and it never disappointed. Visit da Vinci!

After my first visit to Da Vinci, where I had a very unpleasant experience, I still decided to give the restaurant a second chance because the food is really delicious. However, I deeply regret this decision. On my first visit the waiter tried to withhold €10 from me when he gave me change, which to me seemed like a blatant attempt at fraud. In addition, some drinks were only handwritten on the bill without being recorded in the cash register system, even though I had ordered them at the same time. Such behavior is unacceptable and raises great suspicion. Then yesterday, on my second visit, I was there with my little daughter and her stroller. As soon as I entered the restaurant I felt that I was unwelcome because of the stroller. The waiter actually refused to serve us in the restaurant and suggested that I could only place the order for take-out. This type of treatment is absolutely disrespectful and discriminatory. It seems like the staff intentionally behaves this way when management is not present. The employees are mostly older and seem very dissatisfied with their work, which directly affects the quality of service and creates an unpleasant atmosphere. Although the food at Da Vinci is really excellent, the negative impression prevails due to the disrespectful and unprofessional service behavior. I strongly recommend training the staff better or hiring motivated, more polite employees who can show guests due respect and ensure a pleasant atmosphere.

Octubre 2024 : Este es un bonito restaurante italiano bajo las vías del tren para la estación de tren Friedrichstrasse. Está en una calle lateral de Friedrichstrasse. Los trenes retumban sobre ti, pero eso es parte del ambiente. La comida era buena, precios razonables, buen ambiente.

Worst experience ever this was my first meal in Germany and I was traumatized. The pasta was horrible it shouldn’t be called pasta. The server was even worse, he looked at us very angrily and disrespectfully and he had the audacity to demand a big tip at the end of the meal. Good thing : he likes French people bc we are unable to understand his insults in German. They didn’t speak Italian and mocked us for being Italian. They took advantage of us for being tourists. The water was sooooo expensive (we come from Swiss so we know about it). The toilets are great but there was mirror so I could see myself while doing my thing. The price was okay for the food quality (cheap). The guy is unnecessarily mean.

After a visit to the restaurant the day before the Berlin marathon, we four all got food poisoning.

We had made a reservation for this restaurant 5 weeks in advance it was for 10 people. When we showed up in the restaurant, our table Wasn’t reserved and the waiters and manager were really rude. They then suggested to give us a table outside in the cold that only catered for nine people and wanted for all of us to squash in. So We decided to leave the restaurant and look for an alternative. They didn’t care less, they were rude and arrogant.

The food was ok, service not really. We get a table next to other people... Ok... They have finished when we get our dishes. When I asked for cheese the guy gave me the almost emptied bowl of cheese from ... The other customer next to me. Uhm... At the end, the total was like 37,50€ he said :"the service is not included, type on the ATM 42€ And waited for me to paid... What the hell... ?

I was alone at Da Vinci - at 10pm or so. Was received very, very friendly! I ordered a pizza with spicy Calabrese salami. It was really exceptionally good! And: Compared to other pizzerias, the salami was really powerful! It had really good sharpness. I often miss that somewhere else. All in all: pizza very good! Ambience nice. Service friendly and competent. Price/performance: very good for the location!

such a long waiting time (around 30 minutes) just to receive very mediocre pizza (which normally wouldn’t bother me but considering the price…) and a soup that was basically just tomato-ish water with literally raw vegetables (i now know how raw cauliflower tastes🥲). only good thing was a huge glass of coca cola whereas normally it would be twice as small. also, the room was really hot and kinda stuffy and the waiter was not the nicest kind. We ate a Risotto that was passable and a chicken salad with spoiled lettuce. The waiter was quite surly. Furthermore, in the end he wanted to charge us five euros more because he said that the service was not included.
