Great food, broad menu, even an extremely plain eater could find something to order. Service was really good too. Pizzas are bigger than you’d expect, one very hungry guy could eat but otherwise you’ll have more than enough food. No issues for schmucks like me that can’t speak German

Como la mayoría de los lugares de Berlín, el camarero reaccionó a nosotros hablando inglés como un ojo - adolescente rodante que de alguna manera no eligió trabajar en la parte más turística de una de las ciudades más turísticas de Europa, lo que irónicamente le da el negocio que el restaurante obtiene en primer lugar. En este caso, el camarero no era un adolescente, era un hombre grande de mediana edad que también actuaba molesto en el este - familia asiática sentada en la mesa a nuestro lado (que hablaba inglés lo suficientemente bien como para que tuviéramos una conversación con ellos) y luego agregó una propina del 20% en nuestra factura. La comida estaba bien, aunque pedí una cerveza que estaba en el menú y no podía entender por qué estaba diciendo que no podía tomarla, así que solo compré una cerveza diferente. Cabe señalar que usé mis habituales ‘danke schön’s y ‘bitte’. Yo era mejor en la parte de hospitalidad que ellos, y no me pagaban por hacerlo. Mi socio y yo hablamos cuatro idiomas combinados, incluidos dos idiomas oficiales de las Naciones Unidas (de los cuales el alemán no lo es) ; a pesar de lo que piensan muchos trabajadores de servicio al cliente en las zonas muy turísticas de Berlín, no mucha gente en todo el mundo habla alemán. Si no quieres negocios no alemanes, entonces no imprimas el menú en inglés. Si te molesta que ya no puedas rentar dos días de trabajo por semana (poco chisme de nuestro guía turístico en barco) , entonces únete al club, pero no te desquites conmigo.

Food is fantastic! Best lasagne I ever had. Unfortunately we didn't get any bread or olives like other tables got. Customer service was 3 stars because we were serviced by a grumpy man that put us on a table without any cutlery and with a pile of menus that had not been cleared away. Other than that I highly recommend this restaurant.

The pizzas are good, especially the vegetarian that I tasted, but besides that, if you are really hungry, they are big! We had to ask for doggie bags. They prepared them very nice for us to go. Go taste them, the people are very friendly.

Nach langer Zeit war ich mal wieder im Da Vinci. Oben rumpelt die S-Bahn, hier unten gibt's erstklassiges Vitello Tonnato, sehr ordentlichen Grauburgunder (offen) und eine tolle Atmosphäre, in der man sich auch allein und mit Wasser & Wein bewaffnet richtig gut fühlt. Die junge Dame am Nebentisch kapituliert angesichts der großen Pizza, aber ich bin hochzufrieden, habe wirklich gut gegessen und getrunken und freue mich an den fast schon kultigen Herren im Service, die einen guten Job machen.

We ended up at this restaurant by chance after finishing our visit to Museum Island—which isn't too far away... We were ravenously hungry. The prices aren't "cheap-cheap," but they're about average for Germany. The portions were more than adequate for the price. My boyfriend really enjoyed my dish, and so did I, although the ingredients in my Carbonara weren't quite right. Instead of guacamole, there was some kind of ham or bacon that didn't match the original flavor, and the sauce was a bit too creamy, which leads me to think they had added cream. I can't say for sure, but I'm 90% sure. Still, the flavor was more than adequate. The decor was very nice, with many bottles of wine on display. It was cozy. It has both an indoor dining room and two terrace areas, although with the cold weather, it was more inviting to stay inside.

I used to really like this restaurant. Good food, with great service. But in our last visit, unfortunately, I found this to have changed for the worse. The service was terrible. The waiter was behaving very dismissive and was basically pushing us to leave as soon as possible. The food was still okay, but not as good as before.

The restaurant is recommended. Typically located below the S-Bahn arch, it has charm, but at the same time it's a bit noisy inside, for someone who doesn't know it. The portions are absolutely mega. I had calzones that felt like they were almost a meter long :), the picture is attached. Slightly black on top, but super tasty. My colleagues' other portions were also very generous. It was tasty.

I was a bit disappointed, since the pictures and reviews were promising. But the food is just standard without any special herbs or any wow effect. Carbonara with cheese , veggies with no taste. The pizza was very nice. If in the area for a quick bite = OK, but not for a nice dinner in my opinion. The waiter was nice , but had no time for any kind of extra serv ie, since he was in his own.

The food is good but one of the waiters tried to kick us out of the place for ordering coffee and not giving him €14 as a tip. We asked him for explanations and he began to growl and make gestures of hitting us on the head with the water bottle. He made the local people understand that we were Spanish scammers with the aim of humiliating us. It is a shame that they despise other people because of their culture or skin color. We have been here 3 times and the food was perfect but the waiter was racist, he charged us 11 euros more because he felt like it and he insulted us numerous times and then pushed us away. We never go back

Both pizza and pasta were so delicious.. Especially the pizza dough was so delicious that I ate it all! It's really enough for 4 people to order 2 pasta and a pizza! The clerk was pleasant and the service was good, but there was a bit of a hard tip. I paid 63 euros, but he said 70 euros and made me pay. But the service was friendly, so it was okay!

I wasn't going to put this review because my son left his coat here and we came back the next day and they kept it for us but I feel I left feeling I had been taken advantage of. I went here for lunch with my 2 sons and just me, the bill came to 35 euros and the waiter typed 40 euros into the card machine leaving me no choice. When we went back to collect coat which again I was very grateful they kept we had a drink as a way of showing gratitude, admittedly my son is autistic and was playing with the paper napkins on the table but when I asked for bill at 10.40 euros he asked for cash which I didn't have so he said minimum on card 15 euros. I am sorry but I have never heard of 15 euro minimum on card in Berlin, we used card constantly under this amount. I feel he took advantage because I was a single mum alone with her 2 children. The other waiters was very lovely and friendly and I will say the food was good too.

We were guests with 15 people... what can I say: we promptly had the drinks and the food. Mega large pizzas and the largest calzone I've ever seen - the pasta was also very tasty... the waiters were nice and typical of an Italian restaurant. One star deducted because it is very loud when it is full and the kitchen noises because it is open to the guests - but that way you have nothing to hide...

Food good but service very bad. We would have to wait a very long time for the tickets. The service was very unfriendly and a tip was required when paying.

We found a nice and attentive waiter, so our experience with the service was ok. However, the calzone pizza was burnt on the bottom and a lot of raw dough on the top, especially on one side. Margherita completely average.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was perfect to enjoy a good lunch with the family or with some friends. The decoration is colorful and definitely goes with the Italian cuisine that they serve. We ordered pasta, all three of our dishes were fantastic and arrived pretty quickly, the flavors were intense but with just the right amount of spices, honorable mention to the salmon and the chicken and mushrooms sauce, which were delicious. The price of the dishes is absolutely worth it. The only thing that could improve is the service, it felt like they were constantly in a rush even though there weren’t many people.

Waiter was a piece of work, too forever to seat us, take our order and payment. After the terrible service he then had the nerve to try and force me to pay a massive tip. I was originally going to tip cash and pay card but after I had to fight him for 5 minutes to remove the charge he got nothing. I would never go back, the food was okay but that was the worst service experience I’ve had yet.

Kurzfristig am Silvesterabend einen Tisch bekommen, trotzdem sehr entspannteer Abend. Die Bude war voll, aber der Service hat nicht gelitten. Die Portionen sind ein wenig zu groß, was ich immer sehr schade finde. Qualitativ alles in Ordnung. Vielleicht ein bisschen teuer, deshalb ein Stern abzug. Aber alles in allem empfehlenswert.

We ate here for the first time. The reception was friendly and the restaurant was already busy. Food and drinks are a bit more expensive, but that's understandable given the location. The food was good, we had sole, pizza and lasagne. Something was missing from the fish, the service immediately offered to bring the food back or bring in what was missing. We can't complain about the service, we didn't try to add a tip on our own. There is only one star deduction for the table space. We sat in the winter garden and every now and then it felt cold through the sash windows. There were heaters and blankets, but unfortunately they couldn't absorb everything. Nevertheless, it was a lovely culinary evening.

We are students at Humboldt University and were going to grab a quick bite to eat during our lunch break today. We had brought two cups of coffee that we had basically finished, but forgot to throw the cups away and we didn't take a single sip in the restaurant, only to be accosted rudely by the waiter! We were also forced to take a tip later! I would suggest that if you don't know what good service is, you shouldn't open a restaurant in Berlin, after all, the city is not short of places to eat!

This place stands out for its exceptional quality and flavor among many similar restaurants. Unlike many others, it isn’t overcrowded or overbooked, even on a weekend night – walk-ins are usually welcome. There is an open kitchen and wood-fired pizza, the food is reasonably priced, yet the quality, presentation, and taste far surpass most similar Italian places in the area. They also have seasonal specials which are well worth a try. Highly recommend for a dinner in Mitte.

Pizza is big and okay but very expensive. The prices are disproportionately high due to the location and the number of tourists. There are heaters, but they are very loud so you can hardly have a conversation. It's probably okay.

Food and fast service, we have been twice and we will NOT return. When paying, one of the waiters decided to charge €8 more than the bill for his tip, without asking... when I realized that, I told him no, that the bill was €42 and that when paying by card it was €42, he canceled and came back. He put €50 in the card machine and he took the card from my husband's hands and passed it to him. I already told him no, that's not how things work... and he told me there was no problem and gave me back a €5 bill in cash. I find this waiter's gesture very strong. The first time another waiter served us and he did explain that we wanted to leave a tip, but in no case did he decide to charge it on his own. He didn't recommend that you go, if you go, be careful with these types of details if you don't realize it, they'll sneak it in. Normal food, abundant dishes. Bottle of water €7.50

As far as food is concerned, the dishes are abundant and of good quality, my negative review below, I find it regrettable what they did to me when paying, they marked the price of the food and a supplement of 5 on the dataphone euros as a tip which I do not authorize and, the good thing comes now, the waiter takes the credit card out of my hand and runs it through the dataphone without my consent... pathetic and embarrassing, evidently they returned the 5 to me euros. Unfortunately the waiter, who already has his dislike and lack of desire to work written on his face, bothered him even in the city where we came from, just like going with a baby stroller, they look at you badly, when those who are really annoying are those unfriendly waiters who hate their lives and the lives of others, it's a shame not to be able to report you, bunch of scammers, you surely have the kitchen staff exploited

I can't emphasize enough how much we appreciate our favorite restaurant! Every time we eat here the food gets better and better. The quality of the ingredients is outstanding and the dishes are always freshly prepared. The variety on the menu offers something for every taste and the creative combinations are simply fantastic. I would particularly like to highlight the friendly service, which always makes us feel welcome. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, which makes our visits even more enjoyable. We are already looking forward to our next visit and can only warmly recommend this restaurant!

This was my first time visiting this restaurant. We entered and took a seat, and shortly after, a waiter with glasses came to take our order. My husband wanted to ask about a specific pasta dish to see if it could be served with chicken. However, while my husband was speaking, the waiter rudely interrupted him, saying, "Read the menu carefully," and walked away. His behavior was incredibly impolite, which upset both my husband and me. My husband suggested leaving immediately, but I was very hungry, and he had an appointment in half an hour, so we didn’t have time to look for another place. We stayed and ordered food, and I must say, the food was absolutely delicious. The pizza and pasta were top-notch. Despite the bad service from the waiter, I recommend this restaurant for the quality of the food. If it weren't for the waiter’s attitude, I would have rated it five stars. I plan to visit again, but if I experience such behavior again, I’ll make sure to report it directly to the chef.

Too expensive for what it is. Medium quality pizza. Ham cut too thick (should be very thin if it's supposed to be Italian) and of poor quality. Oversized pizza. Instead, make smaller pizzas with better ingredients!

Das Erlebnis im Restaurant war eher mangelhaft. Zum einen ist es in den Räumlichkeiten sehr laut, zum anderen war der Wirt ziemlich unfreundlich und barsch - eher Kantinenniveau. Die Pizza war gut, aber mit ca. 17 Euro auch sehr teuer. Ich kann das Lokal nicht weiterempfehlen, insbesondere wenn man einen schönen Abend erwartet und sich unterhalten möchte.

Very nice Italian restaurant and very reasonably priced for the location and very large portions. It also tasted very good. Authentically for Berlin, you can hear the S-Bahn rattling over the restaurant, which gives it a big city feeling. From the higher seats you have a nice view of the kitchen and can watch how the food is prepared. Highly recommended!

Value for money a no go. I really like to spend money on good food, but this was at most a very average Italian restaurant with prices too high for what you received. 35 euros truffle pasta, which really wasn't a highlight. Carelessly prepared & way too much sauce. Pizza Stagioni was okay, but not worth 18 EUR. For these prices I expect a really excellent Italian, this one is rather mediocre. The two of us paid 120 euros for a shared starter (antipasti), 4 aperol spritzes (12 euros per drink) and a main course each. For really mediocre, really inattentive service. In addition, the ambience itself was nice at first glance, but upon closer inspection the benches, for example, were completely shabby and worn out. No recommendation.

Brilliant Italian restaurant in the arches of the railway bridge. We went at 6pm on a Tuesday, our waiter was very nice, the food was delicious. We had tagliatelle with chicken in a cream sauce, sea food pizza (they are huge!) and the special spaghetti with a tomato sauce and mussels. Three beers and mains was about €70
