Great, gigantic pizza, large portions, thank you for the nice afternoon with you. Gladly again!

The Da Vinci Restaurant is an excellent Italian restaurant, the exceptional chef Mario as soon as he saw us arrive put us at ease pampering us with his excellent Italian cuisine he prepared delicious pasta al dente once some penne all'arrabbiata, a carbonara and a standard that is nothing short of exceptional and very abundant, the pizza chef is also very Italian, a mega pizza with spicy salami and peppers that is superlative, another pizza with raw ham and cherry tomatoes, I advise anyone on holiday in Berlin to come if you want to eat well and Italian I congratulate all the staff, Mr. Guido is super kind and friendly.

Correct food, lousy service, rude and unprofessional.

Service was quite good. The server was attentive enough and was quick with the order, delivery of food and the payment process. The fork initially provided to me had some leftover food but the server immediately changed it as soon as I pointed it out to them. Food was alright. Nothing extraordinary.

The pizzas are very tasty and huge. The calzone is monstrous and highly recommended. The anchovy pizza was a bit salty for my taste, I don't know if that's normal. Otherwise very good

The food was OK and not so expensive.we ordered a Quatro fromaggi pasta and they brought us something else. When we asked to change it they told us that they could do it but on charge.

First time I went there, the lasagna was great though they didn’t give me olive unlike other people. Second time, the service was horrible and the spaghetti was also not well cooked. Not sure if that’s because it was lunch time or other reasons i don’t want to talk about.

We were looking for a restaurant in the museum area and decided to try it because of its proximity. Quite a surprise, the service has been good and the food was great, very good quality and very abundant. 2 people can eat one pizza. Very good choice

Da Vinci is a great spot for traditionally delicious Italian food, where many locals come for lunch. The pasta is freshly made here. We truly enjoyed the beef carpaccio for a light start. The salmon tagliatelle was great and the beef lasagna was brilliant. The lasagna is made with a combination of a hearty tomato sauce and a finely made bechamel, perfectly broiled in the oven. The service was not so great. This place tends to get crowded, and they do not have enough waiters to manage the volume.

We decided to try this pizzeria because of its great rating and proximity to the hotel; That night we didn't want to move. The pizzeria is not very elegant, but we were not looking for a palace either, we just wanted to eat well. Upon entering, the first thing we saw were some huge pizzas that made us salivate as if we were in front of a good Asturian fabada. Encouraged, we decided to explore the menu a little more and ordered a chicken salad. Here came the unpleasant surprise: the salad looked like a collage of loose ingredients, as if the chef had decided to do it yourself. However, not even with all the love in the world could we make sense of that tasteless salad that was definitely not worth what it cost. The pizza, on the other hand, was good, although the dough was a little soft. The place was not bad, and the staff was quite friendly, which is always appreciated. But overall, the quality of the food left us colder than a winter day in the Picos de Europa. We would give it a 6 out of 10. If you don't want to move around much and are hungry, it's a decent option, but we wouldn't walk an Asturian league to get here. If you go, go for the pizzas and don't venture too far.

The food was good... the service was TERRIBLE... we were served by a waiter with a very bad manner and humor (an older man with long white hair and glasses) making faces with each order and throwing the dishes... if you are around here... better look for another place... xq This is the first time we have encountered such rude people in Berlin.

Sorry, that was nothing. First, the wrong pizza was delivered. I ordered a Diavolo and then a Parma pizza was delivered to me. The waitress recognized the error after the message was immediately communicated and wanted to suggest that I simply take the ham down and put salami on it - "otherwise they would be the same anyway". Since I didn't want a recycled pizza given the prices quoted, but rather the one I had previously ordered - and fresh, please - I asked them to simply make me a new one. This was also accepted and confirmed to me. After only 3 minutes. Then came the “new” Pizza Diavolo. The only strange thing about it was that a) the rocket was pretty squished and overcooked + b) the salami slices were lying uncut on a pizza that had already been cut. So I still got a recycled pizza. Unfortunately, this is not possible at all and cannot be surpassed in terms of impudence. But it is, because on the bill, to make matters worse, the Pizza Parma was listed, which is more expensive (17 EUR) than the Pizza Diavolo (15.50 EUR). Other "minor" inconveniences: when we arrived, my friend's drink that had been delivered was spilled on the already dirty tablecloth. The whole thing was dabbed with napkins and the napkins were left lying around / the stain was barely covered with them. Not very tasty or clean. Well, the final sambuca is usually lit - not here. Probably too much effort. There was no paper left for hands in the toilets. The waitress tried to be funny and apologized several times for the pizza thing - but blamed the problem that there wasn't a new one on the kitchen. All in all, for the prices that are not particularly cheap here, there is no good service and as a kitchen, tearing apart the wrong pizza that was delivered and then selling it as a new one is an absolute no-go. That was nothing - we definitely won't be coming back and can't do that Do not recommend loading. That's not how you treat customers - thumbs down for the DaVinci on Georgenstrasse in Berlin.

The place is picturesque because it is located under the train tracks, which makes it not a very quiet place. However, there is no more noise than on a terrace on a busy street. It is clean, functional and with a small terrace in the back that, if it is hot, is very cozy. The restaurant staff provided exceptional treatment to both my son, who was delighted, and me. Friendly, but not annoying. Detail-oriented, but without being pushy. At all times, attentive to anything we might need and providing us with solutions to some logistical problems, such as arriving at the restaurant at 11:15 p.m. and feeding us three-quarters of an hour before closing. The food is very good. Abundant and tasty. The fresh homemade pastas and very delicious sauces. I don't know about the pizza, because my son ate it all, but according to him it was also very good. It looked good, and the smell was excellent. We had dinner the first day because it was the only place open near the hotel so late and we liked it so much that we went back three more times in the week we spent in Berlin. Affordable price even compared to Madrid (€15-20 per person) and, to make a point, the drinks are somewhat expensive. We will definitely repeat if we return to Berlin.

Just came from Amsterdam where everything was delicious and then in Berlin, the food turned out to be not good and expensive , Da Vinci was a refreshing change. Great food , amazing service and HUGE portions

The food was good. But they took advantage of the fact that we don't know German to sneak us a bottle of water for €8 when we only asked for a glass.

Best place i've ever been in Berlin

The place lies very central at a location with many restaurants. I liked the interior design, the chandeliers looked pretty cool. The prices for the pizza I ordered were amazing considering the pizza is huge, and the waiter too was very friendly, welcoming and enthusiastic! Shoutout to Sumit for his amazing work and service! The pizza too was made quick and it was tasty. So, I suggest definitely dropping by this place when you’re in Berlin.

The waiter is a racist. He is very rude to ask tips, like a robber. It’s a very bad experience in Berlin. I never recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I recommend this place Large portions, you can easily eat a pizza for 2 people and be full. The pasta is also big. Delicious pizza, served quickly. A good place for a tourist, close to the center.

Oddly chaotic but charming restaurant. Very tasty Italian food with huge portions (one pizza would feed two people). The service is idiosyncratic in a fun way, and the place seems to always be bustling. The asparagus ravioli was a particularly good dish, that was a five star on its own. Sadly, the mixed antipasti mixes veg, meat and cheese on one platter, meaning vegetarians and vegans miss out in group bookings.

There is wonderful spaghetti with seafood here, although I missed some mussels. Most preparations of this dish in Berlin are impossible. A little more work on it and it is absolutely perfect!!!

Actually quite a nice Italian restaurant with the usual dishes, of course at tourist prices, understandable given the central location. However, the service was so unfriendly that we felt very uncomfortable and wanted to leave the store as quickly as possible. Not recommendable.

Waiter kicked us out of the restaurant, for not knowing under €15 you are not allowed to pay with a card. It is written in the menu, though it is small and hidden at the bottom of the page. Was rude through the whole experience and even asked our nationality, possibly, attending other Brazilians even worse. Furthermore, he also scolded us about paying separately and rushed us, when getting the money out. Overall the experience was not enjoyable and I would not recommend this restaurant.

Was here alone and found it surprisingly good. Spaghetti Bolognese was great and what I personally think was good was that it wasn't super crowded at 6 p.m. during the week, but rather very relaxed.

Food was good. Paid cash and had to haggle with the waiter to get our change as he held it hostage, wanting a generous tip. In general he was rude. Wouldn’t bother going again just to avoid that guy.

Food wasn't fresh people say how fast it comes but because its frozen pasta and cheese were hard and bread was stale , the whole meal should of cost €30 euros pushing it yet was charged €40 guessing for the "complimentary" bread then because i don't understand german i somehow ended up paying a €5 tip which i was never asked about at all and isn't even explained on the receipt which isn't a receipt its just a confirmation print of the payment. Might be nice for locals but wouldn't recommend for tourists just a scam

Recommendation! We had read the good reviews, but were skeptical due to the tourist location. Completely without reason. The restaurant is very good. We had pizza, sole in white wine and pasta. Everything really prepared perfectly. Fresh, hot. The service was nice and very child friendly. The atmosphere is stylish but cozy. We'd love to come back!

The first time we ate here and we really enjoyed it, the second time we went back and it was a total disaster, completely empty restaurant and we were either sat in the deepest corner or in some dark place. Overall a bit hectic and tight. However, this can also be a sign of good cuisine and an appropriate price-performance ratio. And that's exactly how we experienced it. If we hadn't booked in advance it would have been difficult to get a table. The greeting, ordering and overall service were very quick and friendly. The food was delicious...even if we were a little scared because of the quantity. Both the pasta dishes and especially the pizza are oversized. But that's just how we are...as long as it's lush! What was particularly convincing here, however, was the taste. We were thrilled and will definitely come back.

Went on a Sunday evening for dinner, was seated at the back fairly quickly. We were two of us, got mushroom cream chicken pasta and da Vinci pizza. Pasta was heavenly I didn’t like the pizza very much. Portion was good for the price, not great. We got coffees and also a tiramisu, they were all very very good esp tiramisu was amazing! In the end the waiter rounded off the amount on the card machine without consent. It felt very rude as he argued with us the bill was not inclusive of service charge, I asked how much service charge is and then told us whatever you want. he kept correcting it to a round off extra 4 euros, service wasn’t good enough to begin with No matter how good the food was I will not go back and do not recommend it based on the service alone

Quite a mixed experience for the restaurant "Da Vinci". The meal was excellent, the portions were more than adequate and it was delicious. However, the waiter lacked consideration and the atmosphere was a little cold. We had a lot of noise because the train passed over the restaurant.

Anyone who comes alone is not welcome and is warmly welcomed. I was disappointed with my visit to Da Vinci Restaurant. The reception was unfriendly and uninviting, especially if you are alone. When I arrived today at 8:15 p.m., the restaurant was busy, but there were several empty seats. I was asked to sit at the far end of the outside area, which I could still understand since I came alone. But after I ordered spaghetti carbonara and a drink, my table was not set with "normal" cutlery and was not prepared. First the waiter came with a spoon and a drink, without service plate and napkin. Then the spoon was simply placed on the dirty tablecloth. The waiter then saw cutlery left by other guests that hadn't been cleaned up yet and gave it to me without arranging it, just like that. So unhygienic... I wasn't served any bread either. My food came 3-4 minutes after I ordered and of course was cold when it arrived after a few minutes. The plate was also pretty dirty, especially when you touch the plate, you can quickly tell. The price I paid with the tip given is disproportionate to the service I received. The prices cannot be called affordable, so if you want to eat alone, I recommend thinking again.

Good Italian restaurant in the middle of Berlin directly on Friedrichstrasse. We came here spontaneously with a group of seven people without a reservation. The waiter made everything possible so that we could get a table together. The food was very tasty. I had number 81 (grilled chicken with vegetables) and it was really very good! The entire dish had great roasted flavors. Price performance fits! Unfortunately I don't have any pictures this time.

Really delicious. Real Italian food. Card available. Lots of pasta. For Koreans, one pizza menu is enough for two people. 1 pizza and 1 pasta are enough for two men. The side olives were also delicious.

I have absolutely no complaints about the food. Generally pretty good and came out quite quickly. However, the experience was ruined by the waiter. He slung a beer mat in front of me from a couple of feet away and seemed to have a pretty bad attitude. He never checked how our food was, and then took our plates away while I was still eating, without asking (I literally had the last slice of pizza in my hand). You could see him drinking beer during service and when it came to the bill, he mentioned three times that the total was did not yet include a tip. I always tip servers but in this instance he did less than the bare minimum, so I decided not to. He made us feel awkward and rushed, we were out of the restaurant within 35 mins of entering. While the food was pretty good, I would absolutely not recommend going here, the service absolutely ruined the experience.

Authentic and stylish restaurant in the heart of Friedrichstrasse. We received our food super quickly, the service was impeccable and the employees were very friendly. There is a large selection of food and drinks, especially spritz variations. I recommend the Sarti Spritz! Everything was perfect all around and we would love to come back.

Almost a permanent point of contact when I come to Berlin. The food has always been delicious. (Very good pizza and nice and thin and therefore big) The service was very good and friendly, despite the house being full. Real professionals who know how it's done. I always enjoy coming back.

Great restaurant. Pizza for two persons is divided by two parts which is nice. All foodstuff are fresh. Pumpkin soup with shrimps was delicious. Kaprese salad was not bad. All meals were served very fast. I would highly recommend this place.

The food is delicious but the waiter creates a bad atmosphere, when he asked for a tip and did not give it, he released the proof of payment with displeasure and when we left he made a gesture to leave since you were bothering you. I was on vacation with my boyfriend to visit an old friend when we accidentally came across Da Vinci while strolling through the area. We found our favorite bar in Berlin on the first evening! The shop is quaint, cozy and authentic. The food is fresh and super tasty and pleases the palate as well as the heart. For your soul, you will find extremely attentive and friendly staff here. Whether kitchen, bar or service - here we know what a successful evening looks like. We were guests at Da Vinci three times this week and thoroughly enjoyed every second! The friend in question was also there on our last evening. He was also thrilled and will visit the restaurant again. We left Berlin with a laughing and a crying eye and are already looking forward to the next visit to be able to visit the Da Vinci again. Many thanks to the great team for this unforgettable time!

Cozyly located in an S-Bahn arch, you can dine very well with Italian food here. In addition to the classics, the extensive menu also includes some smaller and equally delicious specialties. Everything is prepared quickly and well. The service team is attentive and friendly, and the slightly dark room is not overloaded with Italian objects from the catalog.

The food was delicious, very very big portions, everything in this aspect was more than fine. But at the same time it was one of my worst experiences with a waiter. He closed the menu while we were still reading the positions to order. We had to ask for one thing 3 times. Then he suddenly took away our half-full plates without asking if we had finished eating. And at the end he added 9 euros for service to our bill in advance.

We had salad, pizza and pasta. The latter were good, the salad came with almost no dressing (maybe some oil was drizzled over it) and had 95% green leaves. The pizza seemed very bland. Not a particularly tasty dough, a lot of rocket, the cheese and tomatoes were only put on after the oven. The waiters were friendly and nice.

Great Italian. Were there as a family with 2 children. Food great and portions huge. The taste is top notch and the service is top notch. The ambience is great, but depending on the space you get the draft from the front door. Price performance is definitely top!

We arrived here with four people at around 6:00 p.m. A table was reserved a few days in advance. The Da Vinci was well attended. We were provided with menus without a long wait. The selection of various dishes is more than good. Everything is freshly prepared and the plates are attractively prepared and generously sized. Superpizzen. Auch alles andere war wirklich sehr italienisch authentisch. Wir waren 3 mal da und immer super zufrieden. 🤮🤮🤮 The worst: I sat facing the bar/kitchen and watched the chef at the pizza oven pick his ear, roll up what he took out with his hand and then flick it away. Less than a minute later, he was using that hand to sprinkle cheese on a pizza. 🤮🤮🤮 I was happy that my friend already had his pizza. My pasta was okay. My friend couldn't tolerate his starter (vegetables) and pizza. Service was otherwise okay. Ambiance was more like a pub with a TV: inappropriate/tasteless.

After reading these reviews I decided the good food was worth any service or atmosphere issues, but I experienced quite the opposite. Yes the food was amazing (I asked for a additional side of pesto pasta that wasn't on the menu, and without question they added it and it was incredible). He took a bit to guide me on what to get and was quick and I quite enjoyed him. He was the younger one, but others didn't seem like the reviews. If you are looking for quality Italian food in Berlin, I highly recommend this.
