The food was plentiful and good, easily accessible with a few parking spaces in front of the door.

Food wasn't really anything special. It was OK Price was ok We often had to call service. Unfortunately only one toilet which means long waiting times

I ordered the beef fillet and was very surprised, extremely tender and beautifully prepared. There were rosemary potatoes with vegetables and a salad as a starter. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere was very pleasant, although it was a bit loud.

It's very beautiful there. The staff is more than friendly and it tastes great. It was my husband's birthday and the waiter probably noticed and brought tiramisu with a sparkler. It's rare to find something this great

We were there in mid-September 2024 without a reservation. With good friends who recommended this restaurant. We didn't get a parking space and were about to drive back when the employees came and explained that we should just park just before the barrier. Great. We were immediately assigned a table for four people. The restaurant became packed within a short space of time. (it was the middle of the week). But everything worked. Our friends told us that even though they had been here a few times, they had NEVER seen it so crowded. We were able to easily bridge the waiting time with bread and olives. The food served was consistently okay. I have never seen the wait staff RUN in a restaurant in my life. Here for the first time. And yet was attentive and courteous. We will definitely come back.

Four years ago it was considered great with 5 stars, but last year it made a lot of compromises, which have now unfortunately been confirmed. The guys are nice and reasonably fast, the atmosphere is great - but the food leaves a lot to be desired. Standard frozen vegetables, sweet and tasteless, the same on all plates. Garlic as the main spice in abundance in all dishes. You don't even bother adding the garlic discreetly and in edible sizes to the food anymore. A parmesan crust that doesn't even begin to consist of parmesan and tagliatelle with salmon in lobster sauce that is more than tasteless - a shame. I could list more but... It's a shame that you've been so slacking off.

Spaghetti Amatriciana? Non ci siamo. Un misto di brodaglia con spicchi di aglio interi, pezzi di cipolle quasi superiore ai 5 centimetri, pomodorini ok. E capperi…. Peccato perché la location mi è piaciuta molto e il personale è davvero gentile. La pasta l’avrei tolta 2 minuti prima per essere al dente. Prezzi onesti. Non ho provato altro. Meriterebbe una seconda possibilità ma sono di passaggio. Quindi 3 stelle su 5.

A good and busy Italian restaurant, though it's in a somewhat inconvenient spot right next to a busy main road and a bit in the middle of nowhere.

We were at the Union Dragon Boat Race and wanted to have a delicious Italian meal, so I googled and found you with your good review. My girlfriend and I had tagliatelle pollo and spaghetti ametriciana and 2 mascarpone sundaes with strawberries. Everything was very tasty and suited our taste. We would be happy to come back. The staff was also very friendly and attentive. Thank you :)

It's nice to sit outside except for a bit of traffic noise but that's about it. The prosecco wasn't cold and the food was mediocre. The black spaghetti was hardly seasoned but had huge pieces of garlic in it. I had specially ordered something where there was no tomato sauce on the menu: gratinated gnocchi with vegetables and unfortunately they were swimming in red sauce. The waiter didn't respond at all, the question of whether it was tasty was purely rhetorical. We definitely won't be coming back.

I don't know what happened here, but it was just bad. I “only” had a salad, the blue boiled egg in one piece on a pile of indefinable salad mush was the crowning glory. The diarrhea in the evening was no wonder!! The service was bad, you had to ask more often where the drink you ordered 30 minutes ago was. We were definitely here for the last time!! Never again!!

The food my guests/partners also didn’t look wholesome (which was confirmed afterwards 😏)… The staff tried hard, especially with “regulars”…. Well, everyone has to decide for themselves. The restaurant always seems to be well attended, so there are also satisfied guests. But I won't recommend it and won't come back until I've forgotten last night...

Initially the service was very attentive, but after the meal we sat for quite a long time without drinks even though there wasn't much going on. That was a bit of a shame but I would still recommend the restaurant.

My wife and I ate pasta carbonara and pasta with beef strips at this restaurant and unfortunately it was the worst meal we have had in years. The pasta was tasteless and the ingredients seemed to be of poor quality. Although the service was fine and the atmosphere was pleasant, it didn't make up for the disappointing quality of the food. We definitely won't be coming back and unfortunately we can't recommend this restaurant.

The restaurant doesn't really look classy from the outside. From the inside, the complete opposite. Very nicely decorated, the food was very tasty and plentiful. Prices are okay. However, you should reserve any in advance.

Very good food, despite the full hut, it came very quickly. Unfortunately, the waiter only served pepper and parmesan when asked. Despite that, I can't complain.

I have been to this restaurant several times with friends. The dining room is quite large and there is a large terrace for warm days. The pizza is very good and the service is very friendly and accommodating. You can easily reach the restaurant on foot from the Grünau S train station, but you have to take the bike path. Can be highly recommended.

It was very nice. There were four of us and we didn't have a reservation. Sometimes you just have to be lucky. We had it on Tuesday around 6 p.m. Service was great, food was tasty.

The food was good...unfortunately I personally don't like beetroot, which is often added as decoration here. The vegetables were steamed without any seasoning and not a flake of butter... so it wasn't to everyone's taste. My dad had ordered beef fillet medium, unfortunately it was still very raw inside...the cook would have to adjust it a bit. Overall, however, recommended.

Food was very well prepared Veal liver was stringy, not tender. Service very nice and friendly and accommodating.

Drove past it 1000 times and finally tried it. Definitely a recommendation if you are looking for a solid Italian. Food top, drinks top, service top. The tiramisu is recommended, unfortunately no picture was taken. If you're lucky, you'll get a parking space right away. Gladly again.

After two really great visits and good food, the third visit was disappointing. This time the pasta Bolognese was made with cream, which was not declared on the menu and was initially denied when asked. This is absolutely not possible if you have intolerance. After asking the waiter several times and after his first, lying denial, the use of cream was admitted. The food was then taken back without any problem and you received dessert on the house as compensation. With the exception of the waiter's initial behavior, good service, but unfortunately not so good food (Bolognese and lasagne).

A very relaxing evening was spent, the food was excellent, the service was nice, not intrusive, humorous... Prices weren't cheap, still OK, but okay compared to other restaurants. We'll definitely come back again

The service staff has a lot of potential and can make very good recommendations when it comes to the guest's food and drink requests. In addition, everyone across the board is very courteous, friendly and helpful. We were there with a wheelchair user and the doors were held open for us and we responded in a friendly manner to accept any abnormalities or improvements and had very friendly conversations.

Located on the edge of the forest, a digestive walk is possible at the end of the meal and would even be highly recommended: in fact I had decided to try the sponge cake tagliatelle (pesto, pine nuts): the pasta was swimming in the too liquid sauce and the basil seemed to have been spared... Wanting a refreshing drink, I chose a German beer (pils) served under pressure. The atmosphere of the restaurant is rather family-friendly; sufficient space between tables. You can eat on the mezzanine or in the garden. The service was very fast. The prices of the dishes are generally higher than those observed in this category of establishments. Not sure that I will return there even if the house offers a digestive at the end of the meal

As soon as I entered the restaurant I felt warmly welcomed. The employees are extremely friendly and accommodating, which immediately creates a pleasant atmosphere. The service was excellent - attentive without being intrusive. The decor is stylish and cozy at the same time, with a perfect mix of traditional Italian charm and modern design. The soft lighting and the tasteful decoration make you immediately feel at home. Now to the most important thing: the food. The menu offers a wonderful selection of Italian classics, and everything we tried was delicious. The dishes are lovingly prepared and impress with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. I would particularly like to highlight the delicious desserts, which were the perfect end to a successful evening. Overall, I can only warmly recommend the restaurant. It combines excellent service, a welcoming atmosphere and excellent food - a must for every lover of Italian cuisine.

This time I had liver...it was really well prepared...I thought it was delicious.

The food is really very good. The service is also really good. The only thing that's annoying when you sit outside is the noisy street. BUT BE CAREFUL: If you park on the grass verges on the side of the road, it can be really expensive! The public order office came to our house and we had to pay a fine of €55. After consulting with the law enforcement officers, they told us that the problem was known and that they were looking for a solution, but for so long it is a punishable offense and they keep coming back and writing things down.

Before Corona I was completely satisfied because both the quality and quantity of the food was above average. Now, after Corona, I was here for the third time and was repeatedly disappointed, so I will no longer visit this restaurant... The staff is friendly and courteous. The pizza was partially burnt, not cooked through on the inside and sparsely topped. I wanted my veal liver with onions and puree to be fried medium, i.e. pink, and I got a kind of liver ragout with four wafer-thin, hard pieces of liver and I had to look for the onions. The mashed potatoes were okay, only the amount was very manageable (about a heaped tablespoon). The salad was tasteless and hardly saw any dressing. The schnapps, which was served at the house's expense after the last course, was obviously adulterated, as the alcohol content was barely noticeable.

We ate here for the first time. The food was very plentiful and tasted delicious. The tuna pizza was very generously topped. The service was very friendly and the food came very quickly. The pizza that was delivered incorrectly was remade very quickly. We were able to take the wrong pizza home with us. We'll definitely come by again and then, when the weather is more pleasant, we can sit in the beautiful outdoor area.

Second attempt at Il Gatto. On the first visit there was zander, although the fish was not scaled. This time I decided on a typical Italian dish, pizza. This time the dough was undercooked, slightly burnt on the outside, but the inside was clearly still raw. Unfortunately, I can't give the restaurant a good star rating for the food.

Good evening, anyone expecting Italian pasta will be disappointed! That was nothing at all. Likewise the soups, which taste the same. Pasta also tasted like the minestrone. Dry bread. Not recommended.

2022 The food is tasty, but the desserts are not homemade, resulting in a 3-star rating. The prices are slightly higher than other Italian restaurants. A dish like tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and chicken for €17.90 seems quite expensive to me personally for the quality offered. 2024: I came here again after more than 2 years and the food has really improved. I was very happy with the evening and the staff was once again super friendly. The prices are reasonable, so it's worth coming here."

Sehr schönes und solides italienisches Restaurant. Das Essen war durchwegs sehr gut, der Service ebenfalls. Preis-Leistung vollkommen in Ordnung. Das einzige kleine Manko, die Carbonara waren nicht so gut wie der Rest. Fazit: Eine absolute Empfehlung.

Our favorite Italian food restaurant for half a year now. Staff/service are very courteous and good. The food is prepared quickly and is always very tasty. In terms of price, it's also absolutely okay. We can therefore make a recommendation.
