A pizzeria you absolutely have to see. I first went there in 1991. The best mini pizzas in town, and they're incredibly charming. Even though I no longer work in Berlin, I always combine appointments there with a visit.

The atmosphere in this place was great. There were a lot of people inside, dining in and ordering takeaway, which created a lively vibe. Everything was good overall — the pizza tasted great. Maybe I just chose the wrong one for my personal preferences, but even so, the quality and flavor were really good.

This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The staff were shockingly rude, dismissive, and made it clear that customers are an inconvenience rather than a priority. Simple questions were met with attitude, and basic courtesy was completely absent. The food was just as disappointing - poorly prepared, bland, and nowhere near acceptable for a restaurant. Between the hostile service and the terrible food, this place fails on every level. I would strongly recommend avoiding it unless management makes serious changes.

We visited Piccola Taormina yesterday after many years. It was as if time had stood still, absolutely authentically Italian and thankfully still light-years away from all the "modern chic" – simply wonderful. We'll gladly come back again and again :-)

I can highly recommend this pizzeria. Absolutely fantastic atmosphere. It feels somehow "authentic." And that's what counts. The decor is very simple, but that's what makes it so charming. It's always packed, but the way your order is served is so quick... simply a great place. The house wine goes down well, and it makes the wait for takeout even more pleasant. Amazing value for money. This pizzeria is the best in Berlin, by far. Some might say that fancy Italian restaurants have better food, maybe for five times the price. But when it comes to style, atmosphere, and flair, no other place in Berlin can compete. It's a fantastic family-run business with excellent food. The decor is simple and it's self-service, but just so cool. I've been going there on and off for 50 years and even remember the senior owner. The two sons have done a great job continuing the business. I wish them all the best and hope they keep it up.

Mamma Mia. Che buono!!! Spaghetti mit Tomatenstücken, Knoblauch, Zwiebeln und Basilikum served with their hauswein. I do have a nose to sniff out the smallest of "hole-in-the-wall" kind of amazing eateries. Whether it be India, Japan, Thailand or Germany. This one I stumbled upon many years ago when I got down a stop before mine at Uhlandstraße. I knew it would be a good place the moment I walked in. The Calabrese across the counter was impatient and refused to speak any German. But the place was still brimming with people :) He had earned his impatience for my limited Italian over many years serving good food. I loved it.

Last night I got two mini pizzas with pepperoni from here and ate them inside. The prices were surprisingly low. After receiving my pizza, I asked the employee for the pepperoni I'd paid for. I was met with a rather rude response. The pizza was okay, nothing more. But the staff here seemed extremely arrogant and condescending, even a bit unenthusiastic. I won't be going back.

I loved it. I initially went there because of the reasonable prices and good reviews. I immediately struck up a conversation with other guests. The entrance area was a bit hectic due to the self-service. There were surprisingly many seats in the back. Everything was simple, but extremely charming. The food was very good for the price and the portions were large. I highly recommend it! Tip: You can order at the counter in the front and wait at a table in the back. An announcement will be made over the loudspeaker when you can pick up your food in the front.

I ordered a pizza Parmigiana. Unfortunately, the eggplant pieces were burnt, and the flavor wasn't convincing. However, for the price, you can't expect too much. The atmosphere is pleasant, and it's always busy, which speaks volumes about the place's popularity.

A very fun, traditional pizzeria that also has a snack bar atmosphere. It's self-service. You order at the counter and take your drinks to your seat when you find one—better look for one beforehand and lay down a towel 😁 The pizza is then announced later over the loudspeaker, and you can pick it up at the counter. We always find it quite funny, and the pizza is usually delicious. Highly recommend the large Mista salad with yogurt dressing. Truly delicious and inexpensive. Enjoy!

Whenever we're in Berlin, this is our first stop. We've truly arrived in Berlin. The 1.50 slices are a must-have. We've been coming here for 38 years! The atmosphere is simple, the pizza comes quickly, and if you order something else, you'll hear a tinny call over the loudspeaker when it's ready. It's kind of cult.

Great place. You order and pay at the counter, and then your order is called out. A bit unusual, but the pizzas are delicious!

I've rarely felt as uncomfortable in a bar as I did here. I was dressed completely normally – nothing conspicuous, nothing revealing – and yet several older men (employees) at the bar constantly stared at me. I'd already moved once because I was standing in front of the bar. One particular woman in particular walked past me three times in less than 10 minutes and then stared straight at me. I was literally being sized up, especially my legs. I moved around at some point, but it didn't stop. One person left, the next came. It was as if I was sitting on display – and no one said or did anything about it. I made it clear to those stares that I was uncomfortable. It was obvious. But they weren't interested – on the contrary. It got to the point where I felt like I was being invaded. Not physically, but with penetrating gazes. I know how harsh this sounds, but I felt like I was being undressed with gazes. And the worst part: I wasn't in a club or anywhere else, I was simply here to eat in peace. And I couldn't even finish it because at some point I was so sick with disgust that I left – hungry. Just because I'm a woman eating alone doesn't mean I'm fair game. That doesn't mean some sick guy can stare at me until I have to leave the restaurant. This behavior isn't harmless. It crosses boundaries. And anyone who allows this to happen – whether as a business owner or through silence – is complicit. For me, this wasn't a restaurant visit – it was an assault on my dignity. I'm never coming back. And I hope other women read this and take care of themselves. I COULD HAVE BEEN THEIR GRANDDAUGHTER.

Piccola Taormina is a solid choice if you’re looking for a quick and cheap bite in the heart of Charlottenburg, just off the Ku’damm. The pizza is nothing fancy, but for the price it’s perfectly alright – especially if you’re grabbing just a slice. A convenient spot for a budget-friendly pizza stop in the middle of the city.

Simple, honest, affordable, and down-to-earth. There's something special about the place, even if it's very rustic and the pizza bases could be improved. Nevertheless, I'll be back.

I ordered last night with home delivery 2 chef-style pastas and a tiramisu, what can I say, the right portion, delicious pasta arrived and also the tiramisu, delivery time 20 minutes and the pasta was very hot!!! 👌Schöne Grüße Salentino eis!

Been eating here for 20 years. Recently, the owners changed, and with it, most of the restaurants identity. It's as busy as it ever was, from what I saw, but the pizza serving size halved, the price doubled and the taste changed for the worse. (To me, in any case. I realize this last bit is subjective.) A shame, but what can you do. Time spares no one.

It felt like I'd landed in a small local restaurant somewhere in Italy. Everything is very simple, with worn walls and tables, but overall, I left a positive impression. The food is delicious and inexpensive. The pizza dough is thin, just the way I like it. The service is very simple, more like self-service. I would definitely go back. For people with little pretensions, this is a great place. P.S.: The restroom is a scary place. But if you avoid it, you'll be fine.

Just like in Italy! The spaghetti Bolognese was simply delicious – the pasta was perfectly cooked al dente, and the sauce was truly aromatic, spicy, and homemade. You can taste the quality and passion in every bite. A little piece of Italy in the middle of everyday life – we'll definitely be back!

One of the oldest restaurants in the area, they have 1.5 Euro pizza slice and full pizzas and great pasta selections. Value for money in comparison to Berlin restaurants, the prices are considered really good. My favorites are: - Tortellini in gorgonzola sauce with broccoli - Don natello pasta (beef or chicken) with extra cream sauce Pizzas are great, I don't have a favorite, every time I visit I try something new.

Today, I ate at Piccolo Taormina with a class of 25 children to celebrate the end of the school year. I've known the place since I was a teenager. The pizzas were ready in no time and tasted fantastic. As always, it was a pure childhood memory. The service was super friendly, and no one was annoyed when we came into the shop with the group. Some of the children claimed it was the best pizza they'd ever eaten. Thank you for making everything work out so well.

Awesome, delicious, freshly made pizza. No reservation required, but the wait time is normal. Good value for money. I'd definitely go back. The atmosphere is simple, Berlin-style. Pizzas are also available to go, or for €1.50 a slice. Just take advantage of this if you're nearby and in the mood for pizza. They also have other options.

Excellent appetizers in Berlin! Cheap and authentic Italian. I had a Toto pizza for about €7-8 with pesto and started dancing because it was so delicious.

Very suitable if you just want to eat a slice of pizza (€1.50). A varied menu, very reasonable prices. The atmosphere is okay. However, it's perfect for takeout.

The restaurant's interior hasn't changed since I was a child, and I love it! The owner is still the same as he was 35 years ago! It's the taste of my childhood! It's so nice that this little restaurant still exists—everything around here has changed, but I fondly remember living across the street and the joy of Dad bringing home spaghetti carbonara from across the street after work.

For 30 years, I have enjoyed a quick lunch from the office.
