Great place. You order and pay at the counter, and then your order is called out. A bit unusual, but the pizzas are delicious!

I've rarely felt as uncomfortable in a bar as I did here. I was dressed completely normally – nothing conspicuous, nothing revealing – and yet several older men (employees) at the bar constantly stared at me. I'd already moved once because I was standing in front of the bar. One particular woman in particular walked past me three times in less than 10 minutes and then stared straight at me. I was literally being sized up, especially my legs. I moved around at some point, but it didn't stop. One person left, the next came. It was as if I was sitting on display – and no one said or did anything about it. I made it clear to those stares that I was uncomfortable. It was obvious. But they weren't interested – on the contrary. It got to the point where I felt like I was being invaded. Not physically, but with penetrating gazes. I know how harsh this sounds, but I felt like I was being undressed with gazes. And the worst part: I wasn't in a club or anywhere else, I was simply here to eat in peace. And I couldn't even finish it because at some point I was so sick with disgust that I left – hungry. Just because I'm a woman eating alone doesn't mean I'm fair game. That doesn't mean some sick guy can stare at me until I have to leave the restaurant. This behavior isn't harmless. It crosses boundaries. And anyone who allows this to happen – whether as a business owner or through silence – is complicit. For me, this wasn't a restaurant visit – it was an assault on my dignity. I'm never coming back. And I hope other women read this and take care of themselves. I COULD HAVE BEEN THEIR GRANDDAUGHTER.

Piccola Taormina is a solid choice if you’re looking for a quick and cheap bite in the heart of Charlottenburg, just off the Ku’damm. The pizza is nothing fancy, but for the price it’s perfectly alright – especially if you’re grabbing just a slice. A convenient spot for a budget-friendly pizza stop in the middle of the city.

I ordered last night with home delivery 2 chef-style pastas and a tiramisu, what can I say, the right portion, delicious pasta arrived and also the tiramisu, delivery time 20 minutes and the pasta was very hot!!! 👌Schöne Grüße Salentino eis!

Simple, honest, affordable, and down-to-earth. There's something special about the place, even if it's very rustic and the pizza bases could be improved. Nevertheless, I'll be back.

Been eating here for 20 years. Recently, the owners changed, and with it, most of the restaurants identity. It's as busy as it ever was, from what I saw, but the pizza serving size halved, the price doubled and the taste changed for the worse. (To me, in any case. I realize this last bit is subjective.) A shame, but what can you do. Time spares no one.

It felt like I'd landed in a small local restaurant somewhere in Italy. Everything is very simple, with worn walls and tables, but overall, I left a positive impression. The food is delicious and inexpensive. The pizza dough is thin, just the way I like it. The service is very simple, more like self-service. I would definitely go back. For people with little pretensions, this is a great place. P.S.: The restroom is a scary place. But if you avoid it, you'll be fine.

Just like in Italy! The spaghetti Bolognese was simply delicious – the pasta was perfectly cooked al dente, and the sauce was truly aromatic, spicy, and homemade. You can taste the quality and passion in every bite. A little piece of Italy in the middle of everyday life – we'll definitely be back!

Cult remains cult in old West Berlin. Everything is freshly prepared, fair prices. Anyone who goes there knows the atmosphere. Great team. Respect also for the bosses, who, despite their advanced youth, still work so hard.

Spaghetti Arabista wasn't even close to Arabita. Three stars for the low prices. I didn't have the pizza, but apparently it was good.

This is a really good restaurant! Although it is a self-service restaurant, the prices are so cheap and you can eat as if you were in a restaurant in the Italian countryside!

One of the oldest restaurants in the area, they have 1.5 Euro pizza slice and full pizzas and great pasta selections. Value for money in comparison to Berlin restaurants, the prices are considered really good. My favorites are: - Tortellini in gorgonzola sauce with broccoli - Don natello pasta (beef or chicken) with extra cream sauce Pizzas are great, I don't have a favorite, every time I visit I try something new.

Today, I ate at Piccolo Taormina with a class of 25 children to celebrate the end of the school year. I've known the place since I was a teenager. The pizzas were ready in no time and tasted fantastic. As always, it was a pure childhood memory. The service was super friendly, and no one was annoyed when we came into the shop with the group. Some of the children claimed it was the best pizza they'd ever eaten. Thank you for making everything work out so well.

A truly great pizzeria. Quaint, authentic, and down-to-earth. No frills, order yourself and pay immediately. When the food is ready, it's announced. Pick it up yourself and enjoy. There are a few tables in the back. Very tasty and not expensive. Highly recommended!

I was there a long, long time ago when a slice of pizza cost 1.50 DM - now it's 1.50 €, and it still smells and tastes exactly like it did back then!!

Awesome, delicious, freshly made pizza. No reservation required, but the wait time is normal. Good value for money. I'd definitely go back. The atmosphere is simple, Berlin-style. Pizzas are also available to go, or for €1.50 a slice. Just take advantage of this if you're nearby and in the mood for pizza. They also have other options.

Excellent appetizers in Berlin! Cheap and authentic Italian. I had a Toto pizza for about €7-8 with pesto and started dancing because it was so delicious.

Very suitable if you just want to eat a slice of pizza (€1.50). A varied menu, very reasonable prices. The atmosphere is okay. However, it's perfect for takeout.

The restaurant's interior hasn't changed since I was a child, and I love it! The owner is still the same as he was 35 years ago! It's the taste of my childhood! It's so nice that this little restaurant still exists—everything around here has changed, but I fondly remember living across the street and the joy of Dad bringing home spaghetti carbonara from across the street after work.

One of our order was ready in 5 minutes but we had to wait 40 minutes for the next one after we asked where is the order… no compensation, nothing. And the lasagne was bad, the gnocchi was okay.

We love this little Italian! The food is super delicious and the prices are absolutely awesome. An absolute gem for this location! You don't expect such great authentic Italian food at these low prices. I always eat the same thing because it tastes so delicious - tortellini panna. This time I tried the tiramisu and it is a dream - really Italian - I have a friend who also comes from Italy and he tastes it the same way. Not too espresso-heavy and the cream doesn't taste that strong, but overall it has a lightness to it! Hard to describe, you just have to taste it and the price for this huge portion is awesome! So far we've always been able to get a seat and you don't have to wait long for your food. Always recommend this restaurant and will show it to everyone.

Lovely little hideaway for pizza and pasta. You can get whole pies or by the slice Neapolitan style. Friendly fast service and plenty of seating in a cozy atmosphere. Nice wine cappuccino and espresso for after the meal. One of my favorite places for a treat.

A restaurant full of life, full of hustle and bustle, full of friendliness, but without hecticness. The spagetti with fennel salcicia was really tasty and the salami pizza was great and even the glass of wine was very appropriate. Of course it is a little cramped, but since everyone is in a good mood and knows that this is part of it, it only contributes to the overall result. Oh, the prices are simply pleasing.

The self-service pizzeria is cult! I've been eating there occasionally since the 90's. Mini pizza still costs €1.50 and still tastes delicious! The opening times are also special! Even at 10-11 p.m. there's still mini pizza or whatever you want! Opening time: 11 a.m. - 12 a.m.♥️

Lady at the counter was unfriendly, acting as if someone forced her to work here. They charge you 5€ for lettuce with dressing.

The food is very tasty there. I've been there many times and it's always been tasty. There are enough small seats, inside and outside. The ambience is just a matter of taste. But it's enough to eat. You have to pick up the food yourself at the counter. So you can't call it a restaurant.

Best price for a slice of Italy in Berlin

Came here to eat the good mini pizza. This is great. Like before in Alt-Mariendorf. So far.....yesterday it was unfortunately lukewarm. Completely unnecessary. I would also like pasta. 2 out of 3 dishes were conjured up. One of them was the wrong type of pasta. The third dish only came when asked. The taste of the pasta dishes corresponds to the price. The traditional Italian treatment is included free of charge. The crew obviously forgets that there are also native Berliners who come to eat here. In the future, if at all, only the mini pizza. Too bad.

I've known Taomina since the 70s. Back when I was a student, it was always a starting point for my friends and me. To this day I love the Pizza Aglio - the pure lesson - for anyone who likes garlic. But the Scampi or Tono pizza is also great. Then as now, the prices are moderate and if I'm in the area, I'm a guest. I always found the service at the counter nice and friendly and was happy to leave a tip. The furnishings are spartan and still reflect the charm of the 70s. It doesn't bother me, it just reminds me of the good old days! I hope you stay with us for as long as possible!
