We meet once a month with a larger group at Da Angelo – and every time we're completely satisfied! The food is always delicious, freshly prepared, and authentic. The service is also fantastic: friendly, attentive, and always cheerful. We feel welcome here every time and are already looking forward to the next meeting!

The restaurant is located in a sports club building. Accordingly, the ambiance was rather basic and functional. The food was okay, but nothing special. Card payments weren't accepted. When we were there, there was a faint smell of stale cigarette smoke. The restrooms had a rather unpleasant and strong odor. I personally wouldn't recommend it.

We dined at this restaurant last night with nine people. The service was very friendly, always ready with a kind word and a joke, and very attentive. We were recommended the specialties, and we were all more than satisfied. We definitely recommend it, and we will definitely return on our next visit to Stuttgart.

We stopped by for a quick meal on the evening of October 3rd. The surprise was huge! Amazing pizzas, a cozy atmosphere, and everything very clean. The highlight, however, was the warm hospitality. We came from Regensburg (so it was our first time there) and were treated like friends! Thank you so much for the lovely evening. It's a small restaurant by a sports field... Everything is wheelchair accessible... The people there are very nice... And the food is simply delicious... It was the tastiest pizza I've had in a long time... The ambiance is rustic... It's somewhat reminiscent of older Italian restaurants... Where the highlights are still written on a blackboard, which is then carried to the table when you get the menu... I thought it was wonderful there... If I come back to Stuttgart, I'll definitely go back...

I ordered two pastas for takeout. The aglio olio was delicious, and the Bolognese didn't taste like cheap sauce. I experienced a taste of Italy in Stuttgart. It's a shame it's cash-only, but I'd love to try it again.

I haven't had such a delicious pizza in a long time. Very friendly and fast service. The premises appear to be a clubhouse, and the decor reflects this. Nevertheless, it was very cozy and, what is truly rare, starched white cloth napkins and tablecloths. If we didn't live so far away, we would go there regularly. It's also perfect for wheelchair users, with plenty of space and an accessible restroom. We wish the owner/operator enough customers to keep this place going. All the best.

Eating here before the musical was perfect. We happily accepted the recommendation for an eggplant appetizer; it was absolutely delicious. The pizzas were also fantastic, and we followed it with homemade ice cream. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. We would happily recommend it.

We stayed one night in a nearby hotel and stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. It was an absolute stroke of luck. The waiters were incredibly kind, friendly, and had a great sense of humor. We felt completely at home. Plus, a perfect and delicious meal with a starter, main course, and dessert for both of us, which was absolutely reasonable in price. I highly recommend Da Angelo; we'll be back on our next flight from Stuttgart. ;-)

We visited the Pizzeria am Sportplatz and were completely impressed. From the moment we entered, the friendly and open service immediately made us feel welcome. You can tell that the food here is prepared with a lot of heart and passion. The service was not only attentive and courteous, but also extremely entertaining – a real highlight of the evening. With plenty of humor, good cheer, and at the same time absolutely professional, our visit became an experience that immediately puts you at ease. The food was excellent: fresh, flavorful, and of a quality you don't find everywhere. We particularly liked the option to add extra spice with chili oil – a small detail, but one that makes a big difference and shows that the restaurant listens to guests' wishes. We were truly completely satisfied – from the first moment to the last bite. The atmosphere, service, and cuisine were simply a perfect match. One thing is for sure: We would love to come back and highly recommend the Pizzeria am Sportplatz.

We ate here last night with 25 people. It was a complete disaster. All the drinks were still gas, so you couldn't call it a Coke. And then the food arrived. Completely inedible, some of the pizza was burnt, we had to wait over an hour for food, some of the food was forgotten, and the last plate arrived after two hours. The pasta was still completely hard. Just extremely disappointed. When we asked if we could have something vegan or gluten-free, we were given a rude response. Well, I can't recommend it.

A little insider tip that I discovered by chance. Idyllically located in the countryside near the sports field. Great service and typical Italian cuisine, very tasty. There were four of us, and everyone loved it. The friendly chef served us a delicious meloncello to finish our meal. I'll be back.

We ordered 15 pizzas. The pizzas were made quickly and tastefully, and we even got a complimentary Nero Di Troia red wine. Great service, great atmosphere! Angelo is also a very friendly host. Definitely recommended!

The worse pizza and carbonara in an italian restaurant. Pizza with seafood had seafood from the can cause you could still smell and feel the vinegar and the pasta carbonara was done with some parmezan that was really stiff and very strong cheese taste. Also you cannot pay by card.

A very good Italian, very fresh, delicious food prepared with a lot of love, staff very friendly, helpful and incredibly attentive, price-performance ratio TOP, I'll definitely be happy to come AGAIN and can only highly recommend the restaurant!!! A somewhat hidden but TOP club restaurant in Stuttgart-Fasanenhof. It's also worth traveling further, I come from 72805 Lichtenstein. I found the restaurant via Tripadvisor after my TV tower tour. So stay healthy, just KEEP UP, we'll see each other again.

We had to leave early due to time constraints and were allowed to eat the pizza later in the restaurant. We were greeted in a very friendly manner and despite the store closing time, we were invited for a home-made limoncello and an espresso. The food is excellent. We always go there. Luckily I had cash on me they only accept cash no card. Cozy place delicious foods and when I was there it was fast. I tried tomato soup and calzone which were amazing. Seems like family place they are from Italy originally and you can even understand when you taste the foods. Best thing is the only place that stays open late others were closed which is significant if you are traveler.

I would have a pizza with spicy salami, a tiramisu and a mezzo mix in the restaurant. I was greeted with a small appetizer (from the house), the waiter, who was probably also the boss, was very friendly. The pizza was simply outstanding. If I'm in the area again I'll definitely eat there again. Unfortunately, I was so hungry that I forgot to take pictures beforehand. Highly recommended.

Yes...it's right next to a soccer field. Yes...it's a bit of a "clubhouse" inside. BUT... HERE YOU EAT REAL ITALIAN... the food and the service are exceptionally good. 10 of us showed up spontaneously and received a very warm welcome and all ate delicious food. Whether it was pasta or pizza... the portions were large and the quality was great. Very authentic pizza with incredibly good mozzarella. Absolutely fantastic appetizer platter. Das Essen ist dort echt lecker. Die Nudeln waren sehr lecker. Ich vermute dass die Nudeln selbstgemacht sind. Die Pizzen kamen frisch aus dem Ofen und haben ebenfalls gut geschmeckt. Die Bedienung sind sehr freundlich und sind schnell. Der Preis war angemessen und nicht zu hoch. Ich komme gerne wieder. Ein Minuspunkt gibt es trotzdem. Von außen sieht das Lokal nicht einladend aus. Wir haben zuerst überlegt umzukehren. Wir haben es nicht bereut.

Inconspicuous from the outside, large and rustic from the inside. We were in the next room with a vaulted ceiling, in which the floor had already adapted somewhat to the ceiling. Service was quick even though the restaurant was busy. There was also nothing wrong with friendliness. The goulash and pizza were good. I deduct the point for food because the mixed seasonal salad was green, except for 2 tomato slices and a touch of yellow pepper, so there is room for improvement. The goulash is served without any side dishes, so some pizza bread would go well with it, especially since the pizza base was very tasty.

Don't be fooled by the first impression! This has nothing to do with a clubhouse. The free parking spaces in front of the house are practical, and the subway stop is just a five-minute walk away. Food delicious, service very friendly. Authentic Italian dishes at extremely fair prices. When we are back in Stuttgart, we will definitely come back!

Ordered pasta for takeaway. Unfortunately, it was the worst tasting pasta ever for such a price level and well reviewed place. Appreciate the extra (not so fresh )pizza breads but the pasta wasn't tasting any good whatsoever. The tomato Sauce was very sour and another dish didn't have any sauce at all. Please don't rip off customers with such bad tasting dishes.

Been back to Da Angelo for a long time. I decided on Pizza Napoli. Well, the pizza deserves a few more ingredients. I found the anchovies very poor and the capers could have been a little more. Overall the pizza was okay.
