Viet Wok in Stuttgart

I highly recommend it!! I've been here several times and I have to say it's my favorite restaurant in Stuttgart. Small but excellent. My meal (vegetarian) and my friend's (meat) are always delicious and beautifully presented. We've never had to wait long for our food and the staff is always very friendly and attentive. We look forward to coming back every time.

Don't understand all the reviews praising then giving 4 star? Why 😂 This place is lovely! English menus available and spoken. Glass pork spring rolls were amazing as was the pho noodles (though heads up, big portion!). Subtly down a side street but pleasant interior inside and it was convenient to our hotel. Very fair pricing. Highly recommended

We ordered for pickup. Luckily, because it was very busy on a holiday. The dining room is very small. Our order was prepared quickly. The staff was friendly. The food was delicious. Fresh vegetables, delicious rice. We were thrilled!

Absolutely delicious! I had an amazing experience at Viet Wok. The food was fantastic — every dish was bursting with flavor and incredibly satisfying. The service was quick and efficient, and the portions were extremely generous, offering great value for money. A special mention has to go to the fried chicken: unbelievably crispy on the outside, yet juicy and perfectly cooked inside. The batter was super light — hands down the best crispy fried chicken I’ve ever had.

14 euros and the portion was large and very tasty! Had the 51 with duck (I put the red sauce on it especially)

Small Vietnamese with incredible wok, perfectly cooked vegetables with noodles in the style you like best. I ordered the fried duck, very good. The price, taking into account that it is very central, seemed reasonable to us. Just €15 per person.

Food is good , the only thing that i find funny is that barely anyone speaks German , which wouldnt be problem if i wasnt fasting and i was trying to order something withouth eggs and milk . I still dont know if they made it with or without but it was good overall. There was plenty of sitting space and it was clean overall. If you dont have special requests it shouldnt be problem tho .

Ordered Bun Nem vegetarian. A homemade spring roll is described, which in the photo looks large, crispy and with plenty of filling. In reality, they are the commercially available small spring rolls, without any real filling, that lie limp in the bag. Rest ok, but expensive.

I had a very tasty bun with nem and it tasted very good and the sauce was very balanced. Although I arrived just before the lunch rush, after discussing my very short stay I was able to sit at a table that will be reserved later. The service was therefore very accommodating. Thank you for that!

It was rush hour when we arrived. You couldn't even sit inside anymore. Luckily it was warm enough to sit outside. There were probably two colleagues missing, so there was a bit of chaos. The food still came very quickly. Looked delicious and tasted very good too. The rice was a bit dried out and sticky. But otherwise everything was very good. The price is also within reason. Would definitely come back again.

Zweckmäßiges und gleichzeitig recht gemütliches Interieur, freundlicher und zügiger Service, schmackhafte Gerichte ansprechend angerichtet: gute Voraussetzungen für einen Restaurantbesuch. Ist man zum ersten Mal Gast in einem vietnamesischen Restaurant, bestelle man eine Suppe, z. B. Pho, und bekommt so rasch einen Eindruck von der Küche, denn diese Suppen enthalten eine Vielzahl der in dieser Küche verwendeten Produkte. Unsere Gerichte waren jedenfalls tadellos und mit jeweils einem AF-Weizen alles zusammen für 40€ völlig inOrdnung.

Das Restaurant ist sauber und zweckmäßig. Die Bedienung ist nicht sehr freundlich. Das Essen kommt rasch und schmeckt sehr gut. Die Portionen sind gut ausreichend. Zahlen mussten wir an der Kasse und konnten nicht am Tisch. Die Kasse war 50 cm vom Tisch entfernt. Warum ich dafür aufstehen musste, verstand ich nicht. Deshalb nur 4 von 5 Sternen.

MEGA DELICIOUS! The wonton was super tasty, the peanut sauce was great, unfortunately the portions were a bit small. If we had even more attentive staff, then it would be TOP! Otherwise very good, just small portions.

This restaurant has what it takes to become an insider tip. Actually I was just too lazy to walk and looked for something near the hotel. Small but nice, owner-run restaurant with few tables and lots of chairs, you just share a long table with others. I like it, it has something of a food stall about it. But it is enough for privacy. The map is large enough and everyone can find something there. Super friendly service, food came quickly and tasted really good. There was nothing to complain about at all. I recommend a reservation. The ambience is not for everyone, I really liked it. And where can you get something out of 50 euros for two meals?? Well here!

Great Asian food! We had Pho, Nasi Goreng and Chop Suey, and they were all delicious. Very friendly service as well.

Great Viet in an inconspicuous location

Viet Wok in downtown Stuttgart is a good Asian snack bar! I would generally recommend the Vietnamese dishes on offer here, but there are also normal wok dishes and Thai. I ordered yellow curry with breaded chicken and vegetables to be delivered, with Tom Kha Gai. I just felt like it. And what can I say, it was totally solid. Of course I've eaten better at the Thai restaurant, but it's perfectly fine. Arrived well packaged and still warm. It tasted good, the most you could criticize was that the vegetables were standard, but overall the portion was OK. Price/performance on site is good for the location, but I find the prices too high for delivery. I wouldn't have ordered without a voucher. Overall, one of the better Asian restaurants in Stuttgart that are reasonably priced. Would especially prefer this to those in the west city. In the more upscale area there is a completely different selection and price range.

The food is good. What I didn't like was that there was a constant coming and going of food delivery people in the small dining room, so you were in constant unrest. Not a nice atmosphere. It's best to eat quickly and leave. Too bad...

I can‘t relate the negative reviews from some people here, the food is fantastic and so does the service. The price is one of the lowest in Stuttgart, people should look somewhere else then to pay 8€ more and stop complain about it. The food is not totally authentic but tastes great and that‘s why we love it :)! Still water cost the same everywhere else, that‘s how it is in germany, get used to it and don‘t talk badly about a family run business who also keeps the prices low for the people working hard around there 🫰🏻

Delicious food for good prices. The summer rolls were okay - personally a little too cold and firm for me (as if they had been sitting for a long time). But the hoisin sauce was very tasty and I would probably order it again. There were three of us here and we all had something different. Personally, I would have liked the pho to be a little spicier, but I added some extra seasoning with the lime from the summer rolls, so it was great. The flat rice noodles with tofu were very tasty! There was generally a lot of tofu in the dishes, which we all really liked. The ginger tea was relatively sweet, but still very tasty. I'd love to come back!

Delicious food, not just standard! The restaurant is simple and you have to sit down sometimes, but the food is often very tasty. Audience is mixed, but tends to be younger/student. I actually always come by at least once on a business trip when I'm in Stuttgart. Takeaway is also possible.

Das Essen war etwas fade, aber das kann auch daran liegen, dass es glutamatfrei (wie beschrieben) ist. Dennoch war es wenig gewürzt. Die Portion war auch leider bescheiden. Das Ambiente geht, ist ruhig gelegen, man kann sich drinnen als auch draußen angenehm unterhalten. Aber die Bedienung scheint tatsächlich sehr lustlos zu sein, fand ich recht unhöflich. Insgesamt eher negativ

Good tip for anyone who is stranded at Stuttgart train station and doesn't want to eat the food in the train station. Is within walking distance of the train station (approx. 10 minutes). Fresh ingredients and quick preparation. I'm glad I found this restaurant.

This is the Vietnamese restaurant that I recommend to everyone, I have eaten there myself so many times and it has never disappointed me. The food is great, the service is quick and friendly and the price-performance ratio is great.

I went for lunch. I ordered 4 dishes, two of which I was quite disappointed with: 1- a plate of ban gu: the spaghetti was overcooked and scary hot (it should have been cold). I had specifically requested without coriander, but they put it anyway. 2-sommer roll: Forgotten completely, but put on the account. After asking for explanations, they finally gave me a portion back after I asked and without apologizing...

Durch die guten Bewertungen angelockt, war ich doch sehr enttäuscht. Dass die Räumlichkeiten kein Highlight sind, ist nicht schlimm und war in den Bewertungen auch klar sichtbar. Der Service war okay, aber auch nicht mehr. Meine frühlingsrollen waren wie bei jedem durchschnittlichen, asiatischen Restaurant in Deutschland. Die Pho war gut, aber auch nichts außergewöhnliches. Schade war auch, dass ich sie sehr gehetzt zu mir nehmen musste, da das Konzept von „Abwarten bis der Gast seinen aktuellen Gang beendet hat“ unbekannt zu sein schien. Mein Gemüsegericht war dann leider gar nichts. Kein Geschmack, keine gute Konsistenz. Sehr schade, ich hatte mir deutlich mehr erhofft.
