Currywurst Express in Berlin

For me, it's still the best currywurst in Berlin, even after all these years.

We ate delicious poultry leaves.

The currywurst tastes good. The ketchup sauce goes with it, too. It's a shame they no longer offer the white beans. The cans are there, but they said it wasn't worth opening them, as they'd throw away too much. The advertisement for it only appears briefly every two minutes on the billboards. More advertising would be advisable. Braised onions would also be a hit 🙋‍♀️ The beans used to be displayed next to the sausages in the window. Perhaps they'll bring that back.

A fast food of 7.19 euros, without confirming the set meal, the food was ready; there was NO SERVICE, because I brought it to the table by myself, and I needed to open the dirty bag to throw away the garbage. Of course, with potatoes and ketchup that they had, you could eat it. .I put the one star for a woman who served me who was rude and threw my change away as if I insulted her.....the boys were kinder. Menu for 7.19 ends up costing 7.93. Prices are not transparent. Currywurst wasn't cut properly. In the end everything depended on the skin. Not edible with a wooden chip fork. Fries were okay, sour ketchup for 0.49 euros not so much. Too bad.

The Currywurst Express at Alexanderplatz train station is ideal for a little hunger in between. The bratwurst is okay and the Krakauer tastes great. As a sausage freak, this was a highlight. Friendly staff, very clean and enough selection. Various menus are available.

Every time we come to Berlin we try to stop by this little place at the train station. For many people this place may not seem atmospheric or they may not like the staff, but we come here for the delicious Currywurst. 2 pieces Currywurst xxl and 1 French fries, cola and apfel schorle - 25.65 euros. In summer there are tables outside. Everything is very tasty as always.

I should have read the reviews first... 1/The person who serves us makes a mistake about the sauce requested, he cannot start again because he tells us that it is the last piece of meat. We take something else and we see that his colleague runs the meat under water and puts it back in the cooking tray. It will be for the next customer. 2/We tell him that it's takeaway, he serves us the first order on a plate, we remind him that it's takeaway, he says "ok" and hands us 4 boxes and prepares 3 other plates. The shop specializes in currywurst, but doesn't have a real curry sauce and doesn't offer any levels of spiciness. Just has a simple curry powder. Absolutely bad. Always became a big fan. Unfortunately the HBF branch no longer exists. Hence Alexanderplatz. Price performance no longer fits at all. Quality declined massively and general cleanliness was just bad. Tables are covered in dirt where you can't seem to get rid of old stains. Today around lunchtime I wanted to eat something there, unfortunately the older lady was very unfriendly so I changed my mind and left. The lady seemed very annoyed to me and took it out on the customers.

+ Fries were nice and crispy and well salted, + Service was friendly, at least the older woman, the young man was either completely new or very shy and awkward. - This is definitely NOT a currywurst, but a finely chopped grilled sausage. There is no doubt about it, both visually and taste-wise. Unfortunately, it's really not nice, especially since it's obviously been written about in reviews many times and yet nothing has changed. A pity. - Chairs/stools to sit on would be nice, but I don't think stand-up snacks are that cool indoors.

I wanted a currywurst with fries, but they immediately charged me a menu - without asking. "If a menu is being charged, I would like some still water with it" - Not possible, just Cola, Fanta or carbonated water... The whole thing in a tone that makes you think you're a supplicant. Also das, was wir bekommen haben, war definitiv KEINE Currywurst! Und den Laden dann auch „Currywurst Express“ zu nennen, geht gar nicht, weil man keine Currywurst bekommt! Es hat geschmeckt wie Ketchup mit etwas Currypulver. Anhand der Kommentare schreiben auch andere, dass das keine Currywurst ist! Zu dem waren mein Partner und ich am Donnerstag dort und uns ging es danach überhaupt nicht gut! Wir haben beim Verzehr auch gemerkt, das die Bratwurst nicht durch war und auch noch Kalt, die war auch total hell und wirklich ekelig! (Man sieht auch auf dem Bild, das die ziemlich hell ist) Wir sind mit Bauchschmerzen eingeschlafen und mit Durchfall aufgewacht, und ich musste mich am Morgen sogar übergeben und das kann es nicht sein! Am besten den Laden meiden.. Wir kommen NIE WIEDER

Ali o zaposlenicima se stvarno ne može reći ništa dobro, pogotovo niska žena koja nas je izbacila iz reda dok smo uredno čekali red i kad smo bili drugi na redu, čitali smo na natpisima što ćemo uzeti kako bi bili spremni za narudžbu kako ljudi iza nas ne bi čekali dok se mi dogovaramo. I ona naprosto nije htjela pregovarati nego nas je hladno poslala na kraj reda jer je mislila da smo ušli preko reda.??? Nismo mogli vjerovati. Znači neprihvatljivo ponašanje u ugostiteljstvu. Nije zaslužila ni jedan cent napojnice. A sad će se ispričati. Ne treba hvala! Loša, jako loša usluga, da se osjećaš jadno u tuđoj zemlji. Zaobilalazite ovo mjesto.

Was für ein Laden. Unfreundliche Mitarbeiter. Eine Karte die man nur alle 10Sek Mal lesen kann weil auf dem Display ständig Eigenwerbung kommt. Teuer ohne Ende. Alles kostet extra...selbst Mayo zum menü. Wirklich unverschämt. Und die Currywurst ist nicht Mal eine richtige...es ist eine Bratwurst mit Currysoße. Danke aber ich komme nie wieder.

wir haben noch nie eine so schlechte Pommes- Currywurst gegessen...die Pommes waren nicht richtig durch und die Currywurst zum Teil noch kalt ...die Portion für den Preis eher überschaubar...aber was uns am meisten ärgerte....war die Unfreundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter...

Die Wurst find ich ganz gut, die Sauce ist lecker. Der Service ist echt traurig. Ich bin grad hier und die beiden Mitarbeiter haben kein Interesse daran ein gutes Gefühl zu geben. Es wird nicht gegrüßt, aber dafür griesgrämig geguckt, hörbar über meine Bestellung gewitzelt. Uncool.
