Today, after far too long, I finally got around to testing the Curry Bay snack bar. The food and service were top, especially when served by the former boss. Best curry stand in the district.

If you want to eat delicious food, you'll get your money's worth here. Not only that customers are recognized after a very short time and you can always have a nice chat - no matter what I've eaten so far, it tastes great. No matter whether ordered by phone for collection, pre-ordered online or consumed in store. The fries you pick up are still crispy when you get home, and the prices are also absolutely fair. You can tell that the whole family puts their heart and soul behind the business - you can taste the attention to detail in every homemade sauce. My tip: if you like truffles, you might get addicted to the fries with truffle mayo and parmesan.

Imbiss won by moving into a store. Food was delicious. The absolute highlight for me is the homemade shish kebab! Today was - unfortunately - not a Thursday, so no shish kebab. The currywurst was also very tasty.

We went to the Curry Bay snack bar today and really enjoyed it. The homemade sauces and dips are highly recommended, especially the truffle mayo with parmesan was a highlight. The owners are very friendly and the service is exemplary. We'll definitely be back.

Undoubtedly the best currywurst fries in a long time. I had a currywurst with the fruity pineapple and cashew curry sauce and sweet potato fries. Truly a dream. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. No flimsy mud that you're used to. The sauce is subtly fruity but not so overpowering that it no longer resembles curry sauce. Really only recommended. I also got to try all the other sauces at the end. I'm really excited. You can simply taste that each of the individual sauces is homemade and fresh. Absolutely no chip shop can compare with. The owners are so incredibly friendly and you can tell how much love, heart and passion goes into everything. Absolute favorite place where you feel super comfortable and are welcomed in a friendly manner. Tomorrow I'll come back and try a schnitzel, which is freshly breaded and prepared. I'm looking forward to!!! Can only be recommended!!!

The best snack bar in the area - if you can call it that. Very clean and very good service. The price is also completely reasonable. Sauces and food are fresh and homemade. I can recommend everyone to let themselves be inspired there.

Super cool shop that captures the spirit of the times very well! The food (vegetarian currywurst with fries and avocado mayo) tasted good and was very filling. The selection of drinks and the general offerings there were alternative and refreshing. We were very happy to find our favorite specialist for currywurst and especially homemade sauces in a new location. The quality is top, the sauces heavenly, the fries always perfect. We were there for the first time yesterday and will definitely come back often. The colorful, inviting ambience radiates a warm and homely atmosphere with the art paintings from the region. With the huge portion(!) you can order many different toppings and homemade sauces, such as avocado mayo, chilli cheese or andalouse sauce. The service was better than in well-known restaurants. Super friendly and helpful, with detailed advice if you are unsure. More than just recommended.

Art and enjoyment are brought together here; the atmosphere in this family business is unique. The homemade specialties, super friendly customer service and many impressive works of art from the region make a visit (even from further afield!) more than just worthwhile. Anyone who somehow comes to Hennef should try perhaps the best currywurst of their life here.

This place was so good that I returned. They had moved from their outside location and now you can eat indoors! I was served the best Currywurst ever today. Choice of home made curry sauce, the scharf was so tasty and had just the right amount of spice. Still the same friendly staff and of course family run. The Pommes were fresh cooked and crispy. Still a great selection of drinks too. I even spooted pick n mix sweets to enjoy. Highly recommended.

Unique!!!!!I have never in my life eaten such good sauces (all homemade!!!!) with great sweet potato fries...this is our second time here, we came across it by chance last week. Since there is homemade shashlik on Thursdays, we wanted to try it today too... No disappointment here either, simply delicious!!! From the classic currywurst fries to the unusual variant, there's really everything there... even the hot dog is one, two ,three...worth orders... We'll be coming back more often now, a clear recommendation... I don't have to wish you a bon appetit, it's guaranteed :)

Were there for the first time and took the food home with us. It's amazing how delicious a currywurst and fries can taste. Curry sauce Hawaii is a poem sooo fruity. Homemade sauces, the avocado mayo is so great 😋 😋 I can also only recommend truffle mayo and chili cheese. The boss behind the counter was so nice, we were even allowed to try the sauces. I've been there several times and love the vegetarian currywurst with fries! I have never eaten such a good vegetarian currywurst. In addition, the fries are super crispy and the homemade sauces are great. The portions are also large. All in all great! I will gladly come again! 😁

I've been to the Curry Bay restaurant 3 times now and I'm totally thrilled every time👍🏻 The employees are very nice and polite (especially the owner). The fries never taste sticky and the sauces also taste delicious and not like they just came out of a can😂! I would try hot dogs next time too, but I actually think the prices are a bit too high…

Unfortunately, the currywurst and also the frikandel were lukewarm. Fries were good. The lady behind the counter had nothing to say about it.

Stopped here for a currywurst with fries on the way from winter sports. certainly don't regret it. Much tastier and cheaper than along the highway, good portions too. Very cozy tent, nicely decorated by the owners. Very nice people too! Next time we drive past here, we will definitely go off the highway to have a bite to eat here!

We were passing through and really wanted to eat a currywurst. We got off the train in 3 cities and discovered you. We were all really excited. Super nice service, great ambience. Very concerned about sustainability. We really liked the furnishings, the puzzle in the toilet stopped me a bit and the great pictures...really nice. Oh yes, the food from all three of us was incredibly tasty and the portions really were bigger than expected .The prices are also very good. I would have paid more. You can tell how much love there is in this restaurant and it is definitely worth a visit. We will come back when we are in the area again and have already passed on the link to your site. For the first time, and definitely not the last time. Even if the preparation for a “snack” took a little longer, it was worth it. Fries crispy, sausage not weak, sauce nice and spicy. Ambience more like a small cafe, but everything done right. Play area for the children, there is also a candy bar. All in all, it was fun to be a guest there. I'll leave the rating at four stars to leave room for improvement once I've tried the hot dogs 😂

Very cool currywurst shop and by far the best curry sauce (pinkant) that I have eaten. And while you wait for your food, the team diligently cooks their own sauces etc. Mega! The new location looks great and is centrally located. I'll be back!! :-)

Even since/with the change of location to the city center, the quality is great, if not even better! You can tell that everyone involved cares about the well-being of the guests. So you feel warmly welcomed and competently looked after. The new store definitely has a certain charm with enough seating so that you can dine on site as a (large) group. The prices are still fair. I haven't been disappointed once so far and I'm always happy to come back.

Ich war heute zur Neueröffnung , an neuer Stelle hier. Essen wie gewohnt TOP. Hab einen der neuen Hotdogs von der Karte probiert!!! Ich war nicht das erste und nicht das letzte mal da!!!

Die Currywurst sowie die Soße haben uns nicht sonderlich geschmeckt und krosse Pommes sind Geschmacksache. Das Personal ist jedoch ausgesprochen (!) freundlich und sehr bemüht. Werden den Laden daher erneut probieren und andere Gerichte versuchen.

Tim und Team einen Besuch in seinem Imbiss-Reich zu erstatten ist per se schon sehr interessant und lohnenswert. Wir waren schon zum Xten-Mal hier essen,  das erste Mal aber in der neue Location. Schmackhafte Gerichte, supernette Bedienung und zwar ausnahmslos es schmeckt alles wirklich fantastisch und in hervorragender Qualität. Die Würste, Hot Dogs, Beilagen und die Soßen sind ein Traum, nicht do gnadenlos und chemisch gleich überwürzt wie oft woanders!!! Einfach phantastisch👍👍👍, wenn es ginge würde ich 10 Sterne geben. Ich war heute das erste mal da, weil es dort vegetarische Currywurst gibt. Es war ein Gedicht. Super lecker, tolle Auswahl an Saucen und Toppings. Das Personal ist richtig nett und wir haben sogar einen Schoki-Weihnachtmann bekomnen :). Ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Wir haben hier eine sehr leckere vegetarische Currywurst gegessen + Pommes und selbst gemachten Dips. Perfekt als Stammcurrywurstbude! :)

Wiederholungstäter🤓 zum wiederholten male bei diesem seeehr sehr leckeren Imbiss angehalten. Dort wird echt mit Herz die kulinarischen Köstlichkeiten immer frisch zubereitet. Find ich super. Die Saucen-ein träumchen. Die Mitarbeiter inkl. Chef sind immer freundlich und entschuldigen sich sogar wenn’s mal nen Moment länger dauert. Kurz und knapp: ich komme wieder!

So, endlich hat es heute gepasst. Parkplätze gibt es übrigens im Hof von Car Walterscheid. Das wusste ich vorher nicht, sodass ich bislang immer an der Curry Bay nur vorbeigefahren bin, da auf der Bonner Straße kein Parkplatz frei war. Nachdem wir alle hausgemachten Saucen für Wurst und Pommes testen durften, fiel unsere Wahl auf "Hawaii" für die Wurst und als Pommes-Mayo "Avocado" plus Röstzwiebeln. Die Wurst wird übrigens erst bei Bestellung gebraten und nicht als "fast fertig" vorgehalten. Wir waren vom Geschmack begeistert und freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch und auch darauf, wenn der Imbiss auf die Frankfurter Straße (neben Metzgerei Naust) umgezogen ist. Ein gelungenes Beispiel für Family Business – danke an Tochter und Vater.

Die Bewertung kommt jetzt ein bisschen spät aber ändert nichts an der Tatsache, dass dies mit Abstand einer der besten Currywürste war die ich bis jetzt gegessen habe. So viele unterschiedliche Soßen zur Auswahl für die Pommes kannte bis dahin noch nicht. Da ich ne Mäkelfitzte bin, war ich etwas skeptisch aber es schmeckte echt Klasse (kann man nicht mal ansatzweise mit den langweiligen Standards wie Ketchup oder Mayo vergleichen). Jeder kann sich die Currywurst noch gerne schärfer gestalten wenn er es mag. Für die ganz scharfen unter euch gibt's noch Mal ordentlich ein Schlag an schärfe drauf. Für ein nettes Pläuschen zwischendurch ist Tim auch zu haben. Es es ein Erlebnis dort essen zu gehen.

Ich habe jetzt langsam die ganze Karte mal probiert, und ich bin immer wieder von der Qualität und dem Geschmack der Speisen fasziniert. Nettes Personal, und bodenständiger schöner Pommesbuden Flair. Das ganze bei modernem und nachhaltigem Betriebskonzept. Ah es ist Donnerstag, ich glaube gleich hole ich einen Schaschlik :)

Super Idee. Frittenbude mit Bestellfunktiin. Dazu noch gute Ware und leckere Saucen. Vor Ort zu essen macht auch Spaß. Alles sehr lecker!

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal hier essen, meine Freundin hat es uns empfohlen und sie hat nicht übertrieben. Die Pommes Mega lecker Cross so wie sie sein müssen, die Currywurst mit Soße auch mega lecker, beim nächsten Mal bestelle ich etwas schärfer. Alles super frisch und die Soße auf jeden Fall selber gemacht. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Daumen Hoch 👍👍
