Curry Bay looks rather unassuming from the outside, but that's deceptive. The snack bar is larger than expected and has a seating area in the back. The decor is simple but cozy, with paintings by regional artists on the walls. Everything is clean and tidy, and the staff were friendly. We were there for lunch, and despite the summer holidays, it was quite busy, which speaks volumes. I had a New York hot dog, and my companion had the classic currywurst with fries. Particularly positive: The sauces taste homemade, the fries were really well-fried and deliciously seasoned. The curry sauce comes in various spice levels; "spicy" was pleasantly hot, not overly so. The portions were generous, and the price-performance ratio was absolutely fair. There are changing daily specials like freshly made meatballs or shashlik, and they even offer cupcakes, which isn't always a given for a snack bar. Ordering and paying by phone for pickup is also possible. We'd be happy to come back!

A small, inconspicuous shop, but appearances can be deceiving. They have a huge selection, from currywurst to bratwurst and hot dogs to unusual fries with delicious toppings, and much more. I ordered a veggie currywurst with fries and was delighted. Everything tasted delicious and fresh. Oh, and the portion was huge. So the value for money is definitely there. The staff was also very friendly. Overall, it's definitely worth recommending.

Pure enthusiasm! I visited Curry Bay in Hennef for the first time today, and I'm absolutely thrilled! The advice was excellent, and I opted for a chicken currywurst with fries, along with the Hawaiian curry sauce with fresh onions, truffle mayo, and Parmesan topping. And what can I say: An absolute explosion of flavor! The portion was huge and worth every cent. The currywurst was outstanding, incomparable to standard fare – you could really taste the quality here, without the usual "gut bite." I would especially like to highlight the Hawaiian curry sauce. I was able to try the regular and spicy sauces before, but the Hawaiian version is simply unique and unlike any other. Absolutely digestible and exceptional in taste. The truffle mayo with the fries was another highlight: full-flavored and delicious. I could hardly decide which to enjoy first – currywurst or fries. It was simply a delight! The location is attractively decorated in a vintage style and adorned with artwork. You can feel the attention to detail and the food, which is embodied by the father and daughter who run the shop. I definitely recommend it! Curry Bay is a real highlight for all currywurst lovers. A hallmark of German cuisine. Thumbs up.

Until today's visit, I thought the most beautiful bays were in Mauritius, the Maldives, or other tropical holiday paradises. I couldn't have guessed that one of the most beautiful is just 25 minutes from Cologne! I'll stick with that little intro joke, but now for a quick real rap: I had perhaps the best currywurst of my life here. Sauce, fries, seasoning, stuffed pork intestine – everything on point. The decor is also fun and creative. The head chef on Sunday was super cool and polite. #RepeatNeed

Super delicious vegetarian (soon to be vegan) currywurst! It's rare to get vegetarian sausage in rural areas, and it's so good. The food tastes fresh, homemade and the selection (including for vegetarians) is huge. The atmosphere is also nice and the owners are very welcoming! Absolute recommendation.

You can tell that you bring life, love and the necessary passion to your family business. Then I also noticed that Jolin bakes cakes, muffins and cupcakes. And - see the menu - you really do offer so many other delicacies... We had a very tasty currywurst with super crispy fries and a mayonnaise that was so delicious. But the other mayos and sauces that we were able to try with the fries we ordered, which we couldn't get enough of, are also very tasty. When we are back in Hennef soon, because we unfortunately don't live here, we are looking forward to the delicious schnitzel variations. WOW! We ordered muffins for my mom's birthday, which Jolin baked with so much attention to detail and 100% according to our wishes! She also brought in so many of her own ideas that ultimately led to a perfect result! I received an incredibly friendly welcome both when picking up the muffins and when returning the cake stand I had borrowed and would order here again and again. Imbiss won by moving into a store. Food was delicious. The absolute highlight for me is the homemade shish kebab! Today was - unfortunately - not a Thursday, so no shish kebab. The currywurst was also very tasty.

My wife and I had a real craving for fries during our walk in the sun today. So head to Curry Bay in the hope that they don't just have curry sausages, but also just fries with sauce. The extremely friendly owner took our order. Since we were a bit overwhelmed by the homemade and very creative sauces, he simply let us try them. All the sauces were fantastic. I thought to myself, even if the fries are now mediocre, it will still taste great thanks to the sauces. But I was taught otherwise. Because these, and I say this with full conviction, were the best fries I've ever eaten (and I've eaten a lot of fries)! Each fry is a golden yellow, crispy on the outside and juicy wonder on the inside. I know that sounds exaggerated, but it's not!!!

Currywurst and sauces are very good, but for example the Wiener-style schnitzel is tiny and costs 12.90 without a side dish. The homemade shish kebab is also a great small portion.

My first visit was purely coincidental and was only intended to satisfy hunger. I ordered fries with homemade Juppy sauce - to die for. Top fries and a great sauce. The second visit followed promptly. This time we had turkey schnitzel with homemade hunter sauce - incredibly tasty. The Milano schnitzel was due today. Breaded turkey schnitzel with tomato, mozzarella and parmesan - My absolute favorite! In addition, there is an extremely nice and friendly staff. The boss also takes the time to explain what is on the plate. Thank you for the top hospitality!!

Today, after far too long, I finally got around to testing the Curry Bay snack bar. The food and service were top, especially when served by the former boss. Best curry stand in the district.

If you want to eat delicious food, you'll get your money's worth here. Not only that customers are recognized after a very short time and you can always have a nice chat - no matter what I've eaten so far, it tastes great. No matter whether ordered by phone for collection, pre-ordered online or consumed in store. The fries you pick up are still crispy when you get home, and the prices are also absolutely fair. You can tell that the whole family puts their heart and soul behind the business - you can taste the attention to detail in every homemade sauce. My tip: if you like truffles, you might get addicted to the fries with truffle mayo and parmesan.
