Cova Bowls in Darmstadt

I am disappointed once again. But first the good: The decor, concept and selection is very good. The employees are nice and friendly. The drinks are all delicious. But... The food is just bad. The ingredients are cheap and that's how it tastes. The broccoli is still half frozen and there is only iceberg lettuce in the salad bowl (just to list a few things). It's a shame, especially because the concert is great. If you want to be healthy, you should also use good food. I can also advise against ordering. Ordered twice and delivered twice cold, hard and inedible. Three SHER kind stars.

The food was very tasty but a bit cold

Unfortunately we had to wait 15 minutes for 2 coffees and a total of 30 minutes for 2 sandwiches. These were super tasty but the waiting times were just way too long. Almost all tables were occupied, although there were also three employees behind the counter. Unfortunately the price/performance ratio wasn't right for us.

It’s more a place for people who like taking pictures of their food and less a place for people who appreciate delicious food. The place is nice, the staff is friendly. The coffee was quite OK but the dishes were soulless.

Simple modern furnishings. Similar to a Swedish furniture store. Orders only welcome at the counter. Employees only leave the counter when the food is brought to the table. Price/performance for food and drinks is far too high. E.g. €8.90 for ONE single small and already cold waffle with toppings. Thanks to the voucher book, the overall price was bearable. Car parking only on the street with parking permit.

One of my absolute favorites in Darmstadt. Great and well thought out menu with delicious and healthy bowls. Feels like the only shop with high-quality and transparent ingredients. You can just tell that a concept is being consistently implemented here. The theme of health and balanced nutrition runs through all drinks and dishes. I love it. Prices are completely reasonable for what is on offer. You order and pay at the counter and the service has always been very friendly and accommodating.

The food is good so far, but the price performance for Darmstadt is already at the upper end. The bagel for example could have been bigger.

The first impression was very good, the atmosphere is really nice as the café is modernly furnished. The menus were very clear and we were able to quickly decide what we would like to have for breakfast. The employee was also super friendly and took our order immediately. We had scrambled eggs twice with fresh tomatoes and spring onions. Surprisingly, there was even a slice of bread, which all tasted very good. We liked it a lot and we'll definitely come back.

The ambience in Cova is incredibly beautiful and very stylish. You immediately feel very comfortable. We ate the organic scrambled eggs with tomatoes and spring onions, everything was very fresh and extremely tasty. The price-performance ratio is definitely right here. Very stylish cafe. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully prepared. We sat outside in the sun. We tested it with the Schlemmerblock and will definitely come back. An enrichment for Darmstadt, something like that was missing here! Card payment possible.

The chicken protein bowl is very good! The tropical bowl wasn't as pleasant. The waitress was very friendly, great service and pleasant atmosphere. Very good price, €12-13 per Bowl. Would recommend

There isn't enough time between ordering and clearing away to make new friends? But at Cova this seems to work, thanks to Lisa and the great food she served us, we had a lovely time here.

Super fresh and very, very tasty!

We went to Cova for lunch today and ordered 2 bowls and 2 homemade lemonades. The selection of ingredients for the bowls was very diverse and everything looked very fresh. We really enjoyed our selection and would love to come back and try more variations. We also really liked the ambience and the modern store.

If good service and friendly service are important to you, you should definitely not go there. Employee is in the back of a room somewhere for 15-20 minutes and doesn't want to take an order. Really not recommended

I had the pleasure of eating at Cova Bowl and it was a fantastic experience 🙌😬! The food was delicious, especially the chicken 🍗 which was fresh and perfectly cooked 🥦🥒🍅🫰👌. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating (the young blonde lady 🎈🫶), which made the visit even more pleasant. Everything was great – I’ll definitely be back! Price-performance is more than top. You can't fill yourself up with a bowl for 11-14€ everywhere. Coffee is very good and cheap. The other drinks are quite expensive...but you have to make money somehow. The cova is on the corner of two busy streets, so the ambience is deducted, although it looks very nice inside

I come often and am always amazed by the variety. The employees are all super friendly and nice. However, the rice was lumpy and difficult to eat. Overall, a delicious bowl shop in Darmstadt.

Unfortunately our visit wasn't great. The waitress was super rude. There were only two other tables occupied, but we had to wait forever for her to notice us. Eventually she decided we were worth her time. We had a gourmet block and didn't want any drinks, but she insisted that everyone must order one. So we ordered drinks and two bowls. The bowls were small (luckily!) because they were bland and the ingredients weren't fresh. In short: we won't be coming back!

I had breakfast here with a friend a few days ago. I really liked the ambience, even though the initially very loud music was turned down a bit upon request. The latte macchiato was really tasty, Unfortunately, my Good Mood tasted quite watery, as did my friend's Orange Power. I expected more from the taste of the food I ordered, a Cova bagel with a little salmon and my cold waffle (Banana Bliss). 27€ for 4 pieces, the price-performance ratio can definitely be improved here! It was funny that the only non-digital menu and drink menu that actually has its place on the counter was in circulation quite a bit that morning. Just a suggestion, we would have been happy to see a printout on the tables. I find it hygienically unfavorable that the team had to repeatedly go through the usually closed door to the toilet to get new ingredients. There are definitely too many people with their fingers on this doorknob.

Very tasty bowls with a variety of possible toppings and sauces. The service was very friendly and attentive. The bowls were tasty and filling. There was a flavored lemon water - tasty and light, but it was definitely missing ice cubes! EDIT: We were here again. No ice cream again. And the drinks fridge was empty again, just water. I have to deduct stars here.

Hello, we were looking forward to a great breakfast and ordered that too. The drinks came too. Noting that avocados had almost run out at 11am, we waited for our food. One of our meals was in stock and didn't come. After half an hour we still didn't get any food and then we paid for drinks and left. So I can't rate the food. The young service staff also seemed very overwhelmed. I hope that the points raised will be addressed, otherwise things will look bad with growing customers. Kind regards

We walked past the shop this morning and spontaneously wanted to have breakfast there. The concept of the store seems interesting but unfortunately not thought through. Here are a few examples: - Although Bowls is in the name, they are available from 11:30 a.m. Unfortunately disappointing. - There are QR codes for the menu everywhere on the tables (which is OK so far) but on the wall there is a sign asking you to leave your cell phone in your pocket and talk to each other instead (which is a nice idea in itself). This is probably why there is no WiFi (which is also OK). Nevertheless, the concept here seems to be ill-thought out and contradictory. - A special feature is probably the nutritional information. However, these are not consistently shown for all dishes. For bowls yes, but not for bagels. It is not clear whether the information refers to the small or large bowl. - Food is advertised as being high in protein, but the food isn't actually that high in protein. - The bagels tasted okay but nothing special. 10€ per bagel is not justified for the quality and taste (self-service bakery level). With Schlemmerblock the price is again clear. - The modern, young, hip design contradicts the annoyed, bored condition. Not even a good morning was responded to. - And now my biggest point of criticism. Gloves do not necessarily mean better hygiene. We were able to observe how the waitress prepared food several times with gloves on and then touched door handles in the passage to the toilet. Apparently the passage also leads to the camp or something similar. Disgusting. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the bowls we actually wanted to try because we got there too early. We therefore want to give the store a second chance on another day. The disappointment of today's visit may then be forgotten.

Super delicious, fresh food! I'm thrilled 😍 everything was so fresh, all the different ingredients made for a great consistency experience. At first I was a bit skeptical but this was really the best bowl I've ever had!!

Great restaurant, delicious food, great staff

I made a home order. The driver never arrived at my destination. I am currently in a hotel that obviously has a reception and he never came in to ask or leave my order at the reception. I correctly gave the address. I gave the apartment number and the room number, but he never came to leave the order at the reception. I never entered the Hotel. I also contact me and they tell me that they are not going to bring me the order again and that they are not going to answer me for my money either. It means that if you place an order at home in this place you will be robbed.

Great ambience, great food, first class service. I particularly like the nutritional information. Also highly recommended for breakfast.

I liked my bowl, fresh ingredients were used and I also liked the selection of sauces. My daughter had the bread with goat cheese that looked very good too! I will definitely come more often! Especially because of the good coffee 🤩

The breakfast is super small and not of particularly high quality. We each got half a slice of bread and unfortunately it didn't fill us up at all. The coffee was good, hence 2 stars. The service was unfriendly, we were not greeted and ignored when we ordered at the counter.

We were here for breakfast today. We were not aware that this was a self-service concept. So we sat around for 25 minutes and after no one brought it to our attention, we asked ourselves at some point. It's a bit of a shame and I expect good service to be pointed out to guests in a friendly manner (or a sign put up, that would be enough). The lady who picked us up was super nice and friendly, the young man seemed grumpy. The food was good and nicely prepared. The price is ok, but tends to be a little more expensive in terms of portion and drink sizes. My conclusion: The service concept can still be improved, the food was ok. Questionable as to whether I would come back.

Very tasty and above all healthy bowls! Perfect if you track your calories. The pre-made bowls have calorie, carbohydrate, fat and protein information. There is also a 10% discount if you are a member of the Fitnessfabrik.

Ich hatte kürzlich das Vergnügen, das Cova Bowls zu besuchen und war absolut begeistert von meinem Erlebnis. Das Ambiente war einladend und modern, und das Personal war äußerst freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Auswahl an Bowls war beeindruckend. Es gab eine Vielzahl von frischen Zutaten zur Auswahl, darunter verschiedene Gemüsesorten, Proteine und Saucen. Ich war begeistert von der Möglichkeit, meine Bowl nach meinen individuellen Vorlieben anzupassen.

Gute und gesunde Auswahl, freundliche Bedingung

Der Slogan „yummy bowl happy soul“ trifft sehr zu, das Essen war mega und die Bedienungen sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich komme gerne wieder, mit Lust auf mehr :)

Das Essen war teuer, eine kleine Portion und geschmacklos fad. Für mich eine totale Enttäuschung. Da kann ich mir selbst Reis für die Mikrowelle und Gemüse aus der Dose kaufen (wenn es schnell gehen muss) und komme beim selben Geschmack raus. Ich war total enttäuscht. Viel zu teuer dafür auch. Vielleicht hatte ich auch Pech, da ich mir selbst eine Bowl zusammengestellt habe, aber so geschmacklos wie das war, sollte es echt nicht sein. Die Grundzutaten waren ja überall gleich. Die Falafeln waren billig und definitiv nicht frisch gemacht. Das Ambiente war dafür wirklich schön und das Geschirr von den Bowls ebenfalls. Der Service war in Ordn Ordnung.

Habe heute zum ersten Mal zur Abholung in der Mittagspause bestellt. Die zwei Bowls haben wiklich sehr gut geschmeckt, dafür 5 Sterne. Nur leider war das Zeitmanagement nicht annähernd so gut. Ich habe um 11:30 Uhr zwei Bowls zur Abholung um 12:15 Uhr bestellt, was mir zugesagt wurde. Bekommen habe ich sie leider erst gute 20 Min nach der vereinbarten Zeit. Gerade in der Mittagspause ist diese Verzögerung echt nicht hinnehmbar, vor allem wenn dann die Begründung ist, dass so viel Laufkundschaft kam. Wozu habe ich dann vorbestellt?! Wie gesagt geschmacklich wirklich Top, zeittechnisch ein Flop...

Wir kamen Samstag um 11Uhr Vormittags,zu zweit, und haben zwei Bagel und Getränke bestellt. Erst 35min kamen die Getränke, nach 50min!!! hatten wir immer noch keine Speisen. Es arbeiten 3 Personen im Service. Irgendwas muss da in der Organisation oder den Abläufen dringend verbessert werden! Bisher leider sehr enttäuschend!

Schönes Ambiente. Ich war Samstag morgens da. Die Acai Bowl war lecker und hatte viel frisches Obst mit drin, hat mich aber leider nicht wirklich satt gemacht, da nicht viel Müsli oder Flakes drin war. Kaffee war gut und die Gläser sind sehr schön. Komme gerne wieder, um die herzhaften Bowls zu testen.

Wir waren heute das erste mal bei Cova Bowls. Dabei ist uns die Atmosphäre und die Freundlichkeit direkt positiv aufgefallen. Die Bowls waren super lecker und die Preise angemessen. Wir werden wieder kommen und dann auch mal das Frühstück ausprobieren!

Leckere Bowls, sehr nette Bedienung, stilvolle Einrichtung - irgendwie gemütlich. Gläser waren leider tatsächlich nicht voll wie hier schon einige Male bemängelt wurde. Ansonsten hat es uns sehr gut gefallen :)

Das Chicken Wrap, das ich hier probiert habe, war einfach fantastisch! Die zarte und saftige Hühnchenbrust harmonierte perfekt mit den frischen Gemüsesorten und der cremigen Sauce. Der Wrap war schön warm und wurde in einer geschmackvollen Tortilla serviert. Jeder Bissen war ein wahres Geschmackserlebnis! Das Essen wurde auch schnell zubereitet und das Personal war äußerst freundlich. Ich kann es nur empfehlen und werde definitiv wiederkommen, um noch mehr von diesem leckeren Chicken Wrap zu genießen!

Zum frühstücken da gewesen, leider sehr enttäuscht. Für 10€ die Oceanbowl bestellt, die neben ein paar Mandeln und einer halben Kiwi mit Dosenananas verziert wurde. Schade, dass hier keine frischen Zutaten verwendet werden (und man mit Blick auf die Theke beobachten kann, wie eine Dose nach der anderen geöffnet wird). Geschmeckt hat es nach nichts, außer der Süße vom Dosenobst und Minze. Zudem war das Besteck, das man sich selbstständig holen kann, dreckig. Gleiches mit den wiederverwendbaren Strohhalme. Muss nicht sein. Servietten gab es auch keine, obwohl sich 3 Mitarbeiter in einem nahezu leeren Laden aufgehalten. Leider mehr Schein als Sein, Essen sieht instagramable aus, mehr aber auch nicht. Der Besuch bleibt einmalig.

Sehr freundliches Personal, Essen schmeckt top, Getränke auch super, nah an Straßenbahnhaltestelle 👍🏼👍🏼

Gemütlichkeit fühlt sich anders an. Laute Musik, harte Sitzbank, Selbstbedienung bei gehobenen Preisen, bei Eintritt zur Öffnungszeit um 9:30Uhr lag ein benutzter Strohhalm auf der Bank und in der Toilette war der Papiereimer überfüllt. Der Service an der Theke ist stets bemüht. Zwei junge Beschäftigte sind freundlich, noch in der Einarbeitung, etwas gestresst. Eine weitere Mitarbeiterin hat kein Lächeln für die Kunden übrig und vermittelt einen genervten Eindruck. Der bestellte Tropical Bowl war nicht vollständig wie in der Karte angegeben. Unfreundlich wurden mir statt Goji Beeren dann Johannisbeeren am Platz in den Teller gelegt :-(. Unter Erfahrung gebucht, werden nicht wieder kommen.

Soßen und Zutaten sind kaum gewürzt und die Zusammenstellung der Signature Bowls ist auch eher fragwürdig. Kann man hingehen wenn man mehr Spaß am Makros zählen als am essen hat. Nachtrag: Nein, habe natürlich nicht alle eure Soßen probiert. Wurde bei zwei Bowls mit zwei verschiedenen Soßen ja leider nur eine geliefert. Schade, dass wir dann wohl die einzige fade erwischt haben und alle anderen mega nice sind.

Fancy Food 🥘 Beautiful Place ☀️ Not extremely cheap but totally healthy ♥️

Wenn man die Bowls mit bekannten Restaurants wie Stadtsalat vergleicht finde ich das Preis-Leistungsverhalten recht heftig. Man bekommt für 15€ eine Bowl die bis zur Hälfte gefüllt ist. Dazu kommt, dass die Zutaten und Soßen nicht mal raffiniert oder ausgefallen sind.

War heute gegen 18:00 dort, super liebe Bedienung und stets bemüht. Super schöne Einrichtung und gutes Essen :)

Wir waren die ersten Frühstücksgäste, doch die Wahrnehmung, dass Gäste auf den Service warten, war eher niedrig. Irgendwie hatte keiner so richtig Lust... Das Frühstück war o.k., wüsste aber nicht, warum ich dort noch einmal vorbeischauen sollte!

Die Bowl schmeckte frisch, aber die Basis war nicht warm und die Portion deutlich kleiner als preislich vergleichbare Bowls. Da das Gebäude noch recht neu ist, ist auch die Einrichtung in einem guten Zustand. Ich frage mich zu dem, warum man große Tee Gläser verwendet, wenn man sie nicht voll macht - wird hier am Wasser gespart?

Tolles Personal, super leckeres Essen!

Das Essen war gut, der Smoothie hat mir nicht so gut geschmeckt. Das Personal schien zudem nicht so gut eingearbeitet. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön, daher hätte ich mehr erwartet.
