Delicious and healthy bowls! We eat here often and highly recommend it. Furthermore, the prices are very reasonable considering the size.

I recently visited Cova Bowls in Darmstadt and was truly impressed. The selection of bowls is varied and offers something for everyone – whether you prefer savory, fresh, or something exotic. The ingredients seem very high-quality and fresh, and the portions are perfectly reasonable. What particularly stood out to me was the friendly staff. They provide attentive advice and helpful recommendations if you're having trouble deciding. The atmosphere is also modern, clean, and inviting – perfect for a quick, healthy meal or a relaxed get-together with friends. Overall, it's a really great concept that's definitely a welcome addition to Darmstadt. I'll definitely be back!

I visited yesterday and had the iced strawberry matcha. It was good and the cafe had a nice, comfortable ambience.

I went there for the first time today because of the discount voucher. We went for dinner and ordered two bowls. The Tropical Shrimp Bowl was tasty, but the Protein Chicken Bowl with peanut sauce was PERFECT. The restaurant's concept is very nice, and the service was 10/10, very friendly. I will definitely come back. :)

The staff were also super friendly and gave us great advice. For all athletes in Darmstadt – the place to be – we'll definitely be back very soon! We were there for the second time today, and it was just as fantastic as the first time.

More tolerated than welcomed. 😕 We were looking forward to a cozy breakfast with warm, freshly made waffles – instead, we were served a small, cold, pre-made waffle with applesauce from a jar and a few berries. At €8.90, this was disappointing and didn't do justice to the otherwise lovely ambiance. 💛 Healthy Food Meets Style We came all the way from Frankfurt – and it was absolutely worth it! 🙌 As an athlete, I was truly impressed: everything was super fresh and perfect if you're focused on healthy eating. The bowls are really delicious and just what you need after a workout or for a healthy start to the day. 🥗💪 The coffee was amazing – exactly my taste – and the team is incredibly welcoming. You immediately feel at ease. The concept is modern, stylish, and yet cozy – for me, one of the best spots in Darmstadt.

Not recommended – unhygienic & very long wait From the outside, Cova Bowls makes a very good impression: modern design, pleasant atmosphere, the menu appears high-quality and healthy. Unfortunately, our visit was nothing like what we expected. We ordered **1 Coke, 1 Chai Latte, and 2 pieces of banana cake** – things that should normally be ready within minutes. Instead, we waited **over 35 minutes** while an employee first prepared several bowls for other orders, chatted with an acquaintance, and processed payments for other customers. Our order was completely ignored. The **hygiene** was particularly problematic: - The employee wore gloves and used them to touch **bowls, cash, doors, and his nose**. - He then immediately continued working on the food – without changing his gloves or washing his hands. When we finally wanted to get up and leave, the employee seemed surprised and said it was "normal" for other orders to be served first. With drinks and cake already prepared, this is completely incomprehensible. **Conclusion:** The ambiance was great – but the service, hygiene, and respect for guests were a complete failure. A real shame, we were looking forward to our visit.

We were there for breakfast and wanted to use the Schlemmerblock (splurge block). Unfortunately, there's nowhere to say that it doesn't apply to breakfast bowls! Supposedly, the restaurant would have to be in the "breakfast category" for that to happen, which was only the case last year. In fact, it's listed under "Restaurant Specials," and the coupon itself doesn't mention that it doesn't apply to breakfast. The cashier wasn't available on this matter either. Since the other bowls eligible for the Schlemmerblock aren't available until 11 a.m., and it was 9:30 a.m., we ate an acai bowl at full price. It tasted okay and the portion size was okay. They ran out of hot chocolate, so I had a ginger-lemon, which wasn't anything special. Not much ginger.

Cool shop with a great cafe and friendly staff

I go to Cova regularly and am completely sold on the concept. Healthy, sugar-free, and protein-rich food, and in Darmstadt, no less. Simply fantastic. The service is super friendly, the food is fresh, and everything is prepared with love. The drink selection is also excellent. My favorite is the Strawberry Matcha with coconut milk.

Bowl bland and expensive, small portion, expected more!

I've been ordering here regularly since March and haven't found a single reason to complain! The service is very accommodating and friendly. Paulina, in particular, works very efficiently and is attentive to customer requests. The food is always served at a pleasant temperature and made with fresh ingredients. The honey mustard sauce is by far my favorite. I will continue to eat here in the future.

We had the Green Chicken Bowl and the Banana Bliss Waffles for dessert. Both were delicious and definitely filling. The shop has a cute decor and the staff is super friendly. ☺️

While searching for a vegan café or restaurant in Darmstadt, we found Cova Bowls and were thrilled: The food is delicious, very fresh, and wholesome, with vegan, vegetarian, and meaty versions of the bowls and wraps available. We'll definitely try the breakfast option soon! The service is very friendly, and it's very cozy and clean.

The bowls are delicious and good value for money. If you plan to visit the restaurant in the evening, however, you shouldn't be too tired, as the lights can be a bit soporific 😉.

I ordered a bowl for the second time today – and unfortunately, for the second time, I experienced the same disappointment. The bowl consisted of at least 80% rice, with hardly any of the chosen toppings. A few lumps of corn and some carelessly scattered vegetables – that was it. Absolutely nothing special in terms of taste, but the price was on par with what you'd expect from a fresh, balanced bowl with high-quality ingredients. Honestly, I can put together a bowl like this at home for a fraction of the price – with significantly more flavor and content. When I spend money, I expect quality and a certain level of care – neither of which I got here. It's a shame, but this was definitely the last time I order from here.

It's a great place to go, especially for athletes, and highly recommended for anyone who's paying attention to their diet (or needs to be). Everything's sugar-free, too! You feel really comfortable because you can enjoy really good food with accurate nutritional information in a very pleasant atmosphere. I've been there several times now and have never been disappointed. Highly recommended!

No. 1 in Darmstadt for fitness meals ☝️

Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy the visit at all. The bowl tasted only "okay"; some of the vegetables in my bowl were still frozen. The matcha latte simply tasted like cold milk. It had little to do with matcha. Regarding the service: We should have left immediately. The young man looked like he'd just gotten out of bed and was completely unpleasant when taking our order. Good service is something else entirely.

Delicious bowls with reasonable prices. It's really nice that they're also open for lunch on weekends, when most places are closed. The outdoor seating isn't particularly appealing, but it's okay inside.

The quark topping wasn't particularly convincing. Unfortunately, the cocoa also didn't match the rest of the offerings. Especially considering the rather high price, we had expected considerably more – both in terms of taste and the overall experience. The staff seemed rather unmotivated. Despite our obvious uncertainty, we weren't offered any advice or recommendations at the counter. Especially for a café with such a modern, hip concept, we would have preferred a warmer welcome and better service. It's a shame – first impressions count, and unfortunately, they weren't a positive one.

We ordered from Cova Bowls via Lieferando and waited an hour before being informed that our order had been canceled. The reason was apparently that Lieferando delivery drivers were unavailable. However, we weren't informed until the store had already been closed for half an hour! An employee called us and informed us, which was very considerate. Still, they could have let us know beforehand. So, I can't rate the food itself. I can only recommend not ordering from Lieferando.

Bowls were good, just not enough sauce and not enough seasoning. Service was nice and friendly, but it took a very long time for the food to be ready.

I met up with friends and enjoyed this bowl of pork in a nice quiz organized by Kathi. Sometimes I have fundamental doubts about my own abilities; Mesut, for example, often has the feeling that he is not even perceived that way. But whatever! However, the price performance can be improved, but the quality and speed of delivery are top. All in all, it was a good looking car, even if I had a little bit of room to sit down. Gladly again, but next time maybe mozzarella and no soy sauce

I tried protein chicken bowl. I liked the chicken, roasted onion and curry sauce but I didn't like the mixture with rice, beetroot and fava beans. I really liked the atmosphere and place and their "cova bowls happy souls".

The rice could have been a bit softer, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. The restaurant had a nice, calm atmosphere, making it a great place to enjoy a meal. Plus, the staff were incredibly well-mannered and attentive, adding to the pleasant dining experience. I'll definitely be back!

The gourmet block for Cova Bowls does not apply to the breakfast bowls because, according to the waitress, they are not bowls, even though they are called “Tropical Bowl” and “Acaii Bowl”. There is no mention of this in the Schlemmerblock. When asked where this restriction is and please add it next year, the waitress became extremely unfriendly and only said things like “if you came here more often, you would know that”. That was our last visit here.

The falafel was cheap and definitely not freshly made. The ambiance was really nice, and so were the dishes for the bowls. The service was okay. However, it's also more of a self-service option. Even after trying it a second time, I was disappointed. The taste was totally bland. Unfortunately, I won't be coming here again.

It's a shame, especially because the concert is great. If you're going to pretend to be healthy, you should also use good food. I would also advise against ordering there. I ordered twice, and both were delivered cold, hard, and inedible. Three VERY well-intentioned stars.

Unfortunately we had to wait 15 minutes for 2 coffees and a total of 30 minutes for 2 sandwiches. These were super tasty but the waiting times were just way too long. Price/performance for food and drinks is far too high. E.g. €8.90 for ONE single small and already cold waffle with toppings. Thanks to the voucher book, the overall price was bearable. Car parking only on the street with parking permit.
