The food was fantastic. I didn't like couscous before. Now I'm a couscous fan. The operator/cook/waiter is very welcoming and cooks great.

A hidden gem in Dresden. The place is so authentic, the food is amazing and the owner is such a pleasant man. One of the best places for Arabic food. The place also offers an amazing homemade lemonade. The prices are more than fair. Overall a great experience.

The couscous was super tasty and kept me full for a long time for a very fair price. The food was also very nicely presented, on (presumably) handmade dishes. The service was also very friendly. The garlic sauce that we got with the couscous was also great. The vegetables were very tasty. We were thrilled and would love to come back!

Fantastic. One of the best in Dresden! The owner is super friendly, The de la menthe is better than some places in Morocco (the only comparison I have) and the Couscous Royal lives up to its name. Prices like 10 years ago! I will gladly come again. شكرا ؛

I can only praise the extremely tasty couscous variants, fine real mint tea and the lemonade. We went there several times during our stay.

Very delicious food! I ate breakfast here the first time I have arrived in Dresden four years ago. The quality of the food has always been on high standards and the welcoming atmosphere always there! I recommend this place to anyone who wants great and delicious food with a home like feeling.

Very nice, authentic restaurant and comfortably furnished. It was our first time eating Egyptian and the dishes were very tasty, not very spicy but served with different sauces and all at a fair price.

A small, owner-managed restaurant with typical local cuisine. The food is freshly prepared. Unfortunately the coffee was a bit thin, but that is my subjective opinion. The ambience is also typical of the country and the prices are fair.

Das Ambiente ist sehr authentisch, nicht dem typischen mitteleuropäischen schick angepasst sondern lässt einen auch geistig in ein anderes Land reisen. While visiting the very nice city of Dresden, we were accommodated in this street where the restaurant is located. It didn't stop us from visiting it. The attendant is a typical Arab, hospitable, accommodating, kind. The dishes are very good according to our expectations. As we are already try them in Morocco. He knows how to prepare pefect Moroccan tea. Prices are very friendly. I highly recommend to visit and enjoy the evening with minth tea and delicious dishes.

All exceptionally good, especially couscous, dessert (small tartlets and nougat with pistacchios) and coffee. Super friendly staff (one guy), quite Algerian atmosphere (although I've never been to Algeria 😅). Good value for money!

Leider nicht mehr richtig frisches Couscous, wird jetzt mit Tiefkühlgemüse zubereitet. Ambiente ist im orientalischen Stil.

Alles top aber die Sauberkeit ist an der Grenze dessen, was noch okay ist. Man sollte den Laden mal einige Stunden grundreinigen (zB auch die Fenster).

Exotisch, günstig und lecker: wer etwas Exotisches mitten in Dresden sucht, und dabei auf hochwertiges Ambiente verzichten kann, wird hier auf jeden Fall etwas finden. Die Speisekarte ist übersichtlich, aber die Speisen sehr lecker und frisch gemacht. Und wie gesagt zu sehr attraktiven Preisen.

Unglaublich billig (~6€ für Abendtisch) und unglaublich lecker.

Ein sehr herzlicher Inhaber, der mich stets strahlend begrüßt und das beste Couscous macht, welches ich bisher hatte. Für diese geringen Preise ist es regelrecht geschenkt. Ich muss tatsächlich bei fast jedem Löffel Couscous in meinem Mund einen glücklichen Seufzer rauslassen. :) Immer eine meiner ersten Empfehlungen in der Neustadt.

It has got that warm feeling of cosyness, almost that feeling of being home. oh, and the food is very decent! It tastes good and is served in ceramic dishes, in fair-sized portions and at reasonable prices! It's Algerian btw, not Tunisian.

Dieses kleine Lokal ist etwas Besonderes und unbedingt einen Besuch wert. Der Herr des Hauses macht alles selbst. Vom freundlichen Empfang über die Präsentation des Tees, die frische Zubereitung der schmackhaften Gerichte in der offenen Küche, all das macht er mit Herz. Der Geschäftsführer ist ein sehr netter Algerier, der sehr gerne ein paar Worte Französisch wechselt und sehr serviceorientiert ist. Wir haben eine Kanne Minztee, eine Portion Couscous Vegetarisch und einen Spezial Salat bestellt. Alle Speisen waren frisch und lecker zubereitet. Es gab eine warme Couscous-Sauce, eine scharfe Paprika-Paste und eine Knoblauchsauce dazu. Die Preise sind sehr günstig und das Lokal sehr sauber und ordentlich geführt. Nichts zu meckern, nur zu empfehlen und eine gemütliche Atmosphäre zum Wohlfühlen.

My girlfriend and I went today to Couscous Haus to have lunch. I really have to say it was delicious. We shared the lentil soup with bread (3 euro) and both took the vegan offer Falafel with vegetables, patatoes and couscous (4 euro) accompanied by a small teapot (3,50) which we shared as well. To the main menu he served us an extra cup of sauce for the couscous, and handmade garlic-sauce and a extra bowl with a spicy paste. Everything was served with a friendly smile. The dishes, the cuttlery and these thing were of high quality. The owner is super charming. This place is really an insider: Super delicious, inexpensive and authentic! We will come back!
