Very nice place, good decoration, comfortable and nice ambiance. Unfortunately the ramen is a miss. I dont think you can simply call this authentic.. Idk, is really bland especially the tonkotsu. Well, the tantan broth is really good, and shoyu also quite enjoyable. But their noodle is really bad, for my taste at least. Its too thin, too soft, very very standard instant noodle quality. Karaage is okay. I believe you can improve it.. Nice place. Thanks

Nice and good service and very tasty dishes! We didn't wait long for our food today, and the restaurant was well attended. The portions are large and enough even for me, a glutton. My girls didn't quite finish their portions. We'd love to come back.

Ordered the vegitarian ramen option and sat there excitedly waiting🤤. Waiting and waiting started imagining all kinds of ways in which my dish could look like🤤. The Menu card paints only a verbal picture so my imagination ran wild😌. Then slowly and calmly the food was served. My eyes took a look at it and ofcourse it looked yumm but my imagination wasn't met with fulfillment when I saw only 2 tofu pieces and very few vegetables on the bowl🤥. My chopsticks where missing too, had to get a pair after some asking ..🤥. Once I started eating though my senses got lost in the flavourful experience of those crisp seasoned veggies and the spiced up oil they served and for that duration I was unavailable to the world🤤🌍. Once having eaten my dish, leaving the not so fully cooked sad pak Choi pieces out; Was left with a what if there was more tofu and more of those veggies in my bowl thought 😌

The food was very tasty and the service was friendly and helpful. The selection of dishes is relatively small, but they taste great and are fresh on the table within a few minutes.

The restaurant is a wonderful mix of delicious food, friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere. The owner of the restaurant is very accommodating, even remembers his regular customers and takes the time to interact with people. It's always a pleasure to visit there! Stay with us for a long time!

A really nice restaurant in a great central location. There is plenty of seating, outside and inside. The ambience and decorations are great. The service is good, fast and very nice. Even when there is a lot going on, the food comes quickly. The food is really tasty and the price/performance ratio is perfect. I have rarely been so satisfied after a meal and will definitely come back more often. I have now tried almost all of the dishes and have been very satisfied every time. Here I would like to particularly highlight the karaage as a starter, these were the tastiest karaage that I have ever eaten in a restaurant in Aachen! Definite recommendation still! Side note: The little plants, which can be exchanged for a full stamp card, are a great idea!

Lovely little shop with an authentic Japanese feel. Loved it in there you get to go upstairs and have a lot of windows. The food was lovely and so was the service! They are very driven to make it the best experience so if you want something just ask! Ohand if you like Ramen? Loved it here! They offer spices too if you'd like to experiment with the broth.

Simple and chicly furnished Japanese restaurant that offers a selection of different ramen dishes and impresses with its small menu, because: you can simply taste the attention to detail and the high quality of the ingredients - awesome! It was our first time trying ramen and we were given good advice. We enjoyed it and don't regret our attempt ;-) We were able to spontaneously get a spot on the second floor. It was tight, but the ambience also had a certain flair. The service was great; everyone was friendly and open-minded.

The shop was nicely decorated. The service was below average in Beeten Falls, several tables were pulled in front of us without saying anything. The food was freshly made and came quickly. My chicken was just very over seasoned.

We recommend!! A restaurant with the aim of bringing the most authentic ramen possible to Germany! The veggie miso ramen and the green tea were really delicious and also fairly priced. The location and furnishings are also really cozy, the second floor offers a beautiful view of the city.🤍

Spontaneously found a restaurant on Google, called because we thought we had to make a reservation, but when we arrived we were warmly greeted, had a nice place to sit and were able to order straight away. An absolute must go for us on our next visits to Aachen 😁

「日本のラーメン」が食べたい人にはオススメしません...HPからも想像がつく通り、日本人監修のラーメンではないです。 私は匠に行くつもりでしたが、ドイツ人の家族が立地とスペースの広さでこちらを強く推した為、お試しで入店。 枝豆、唐揚げ、餃子と、6人それぞれがラーメンを頼みましたが... 鶏白湯に鰹節が乗ってるのも変な感じだったんですが、それ以前に鶏肉に3~5cm程の毛のようなものがいくつもついていました。 店員さんに確認して貰ったところ、鳥の毛なので大丈夫だけど、嫌なら変えますとのこと。 鳥の毛でも嫌です!!! 日本人にとっては(恐らくドイツ人にとっても)鳥の毛が何本も見えるのは論外です。 担々麺は通常のスープを2~3倍に薄めたような水っぽさで味がせず。 唐揚げはもも肉ではなくとても固くて、これについても厨房に確認してもらったところ、肉の仕入れが間違って配達されていた事に気付かず、そのまま調理してしまった、と。 丁寧な謝罪と次回使えるクーポン券を家族は貰ってましたが、私は再訪はありません。 日本人、又はAachenで「日本の」ラーメンが食べたいなら、素直にTakumi一択で!!

I ordered two ramen: tasty and authentic. Delicious! Also have high quality and proper Asian teas. Owners and staff are also super nice! A restaurant to fall in love with 😍

We waited for 2 ramen for one hour, after which we were told that we needed to wait another 15 minutes as the teriyaki chicken took too long to cook. Interestingly, the second ramen did not have this chicken. Apparently they simply forgot about our order. The time was wasted; there was no strength to wait any longer. We won't be back again - answer to the restaurant Everything would be fine if you have warned us about a long cooking time as we ordered it. But instead we found it out only as we asked about our food after one hour. We could order something else and enjoy meals, but instead we just wasted an hour.

Absolute recommendation!!! Super nice staff and very tasty food. And what fascinated me is the ramen made for me. I wasn't allowed to eat salt at the time and they created something for me, completely without salt. Pure enthusiasm🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

There are also two vegetarian ramen dishes to choose from, so you can eat here even without meat!

Die Ramen Nudelsuppe hat sehr authentisch geschmeckt. Es ist toll, dass man die Ramen noch individuell mit einer Paste abschmecken kann :) die Bedienung war auch sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Nachtisch (Matcha Fromage Cheesecake) war ein Traum - locker und nicht zu süß! Alles in allem ein toller Besuch und ich kann das Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen!

Alles top! Das Essen war lecker, die Bedienung freundlich und die Einrichtung sehr einladend. Ich hatte Karaage als Appetizer, Paitan Shio Ramen und zum Nachtisch den Double Matcha Fromage Kuchen.

Ganz tolles Essen und auch die hausgemachte Limonade (Zitronentee kalt) und der grüne Tee waren sehr lecker. An einem kalten Novembernachmittag ist es allerdings zugig hinter den 80er Jahre Fenstern, und frau behält eher den Mantel an.

Cute aesthetic ramen restaurant with friendly staff. We decided to look for a ramen restaurant on friday evening, found this spot and were pleasantly surprised. The staff is eager to help to make your experience as nice as possibly. Offering additional broth, paste and chili with your ramen. Everything about the pork ramen tasted amazing, the meat being a bit dry. Added an extra egg half which i recommend. Requested a bit more chili to spice it up. The veggie 'minced tofu' ramen was also tasty, requested some paste for intensity. The kimchi could be more spicy but enjoyed it regardless.

The ramen is tasty and the portion is rightly sized. However, when I went there the restaurant was full and therefore the food took a bit too long to be served. Also the soup wasn't as hot as I was expecting. The service is very good and staff is really friendly. Prices are also very reasonable

Le Coco Chan est une enseigne aixoise de cuisine nippo-oghouze située en plein cœur d'Aachen. L'accueil était parfait et la cuisine délicieuse. Je recommande les beignets de courgette au sarrasin ainsi que le numéro 60 (n'hésitez pas à demander plus de piment dans le tantanmen). Le service a été rapide, nous avons été servi au bout de trois (3!). J'ai d'énormes problèmes de santé et j'ai dû me retenir de commander un cheesecake au marshmallow, bien que la carte des desserts soit alléchante. La carte végan est d'ailleurs particulièrement fournie : canard laqué ? tofu, (pas de maki cheese), saké artisanal. Une excellente expérience qui m'a fait oublier une semaine par ailleurs exécrable (rupture amoureuse et décès d'un proche....), je recommande à tous les amateurs de ramen ou de cuisine nippo-ougrienne. Vielen Dank für das leckere Essen!

Perfekt für ein entspanntes essen mit Freunden

Wir waren vor ein paar Wochen zum ersten mal in diesem Restaurant, wobei das Interessante für mich das Gebäude mit den schönen großen Fenstern war. Wir sind spontan ohne Reservierung vorbei gekommen und haben auch direkt einen Platz bekommen. Da eine weitere, etwas größere Gruppe gekommen ist wurden wir gebeten den Platz mit ihnen zu tauschen da wir nur zwei Leute waren. Alles kein Problem gewesen wir wurden sehr freundlich gebeten und haben auch ein Kännchen Tee als ‚Wiedergutmachung‘ bekommen :) Ich hatte die Hähnchenramen wobei ich sagen muss dass Hähnchen war absolut zart und nahezu perfekt, leider zu wenig von der Menge her aber bei den Verhältnissmäßig niedrigen Preisen kann ich da nicht viel meckern. Die Karrage waren vom Hähnchen her ebenfalls sehr lecker und zart nur leider war die Panade für meinen Geschmack zu trocken und da es keine Mayonaise oder andere Saucen dazu gab etwas enttäuschend… ich weiß es werden Pasten etc bei Nachfrage angeboten aber wenn man nicht weiß was genau es gibt fragt man nicht so gerne alles nach vor allem wenn die Kellner gestresst oder beschäftigt scheinen :// Daher als kleinen Tipp, vielleicht könnte man die grundlegenden Sachen wie Chilliöl, Soyasauce… ja auf dem Tisch stehen haben oder auf einer Karte verweisen was genau nich angeboten wird. Die Nudeln waren mir persönlich etwas zu dünn aber das ist ja Geschmackssache. Die Kellner sind sehr freundlich und auch der Inhaber scheint sehr leidenschaftlich an der Rezeptur des Essens zu arbeiten, dagegen will ich garnichts sagen :) Zusammenfassend für mich persönlich nicht der Beste Ort um Ramen zu essen aber die Atmosphäre in dem Lokal ist schon ganz nett und man wird als Gast sehr zuvorkommend behandelt

Update nach über einem Jahr: Inzwischen wurde die Karte um weitere Suppen erweitert. Es gibt nun auch Tantanmen und Paitan Shio Ramen. Diese haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Wenn man mehr Intensität möchte kann man das auch mit den entsprechenden Würzpasten nachträglich individuell regulieren. Chili Öl ist inzwischen auch hausgemacht und mit leckeren Röstaromen und knuspriger Flake Struktur. Die Karaage Vorspeise war sowohl vom Fleisch als auch der würzigen Panade hervorragend. 5 Sterne sind jetzt verdient ☺️ Fakt ist erstmal, dass ich froh bin endlich einen Ramen Laden in Aachen zu haben. Die Gyoza und das Kimchi waren sehr lecker als Vorspeisen. Wir hatten die Tonkotsu und die Miso Karaage Ramen. Fast alle Bestandteile der Suppe waren sehr geil, vor allem das Ajitsuke Ei, das Chashu und Karaage. Die Suppen waren sehr geschmackvoll, die Miso vielleicht sogar etwas zu salzig für meinen Geschmack. Das Chili Öl (La-Yu), welches man zur Suppe serviert bekommt ist flüssig und gibt vor allem eine zusätzliche Sesam Würze. Da wäre mir persönlich ein Crispy Chili Öl (z.B. Laoganma) lieber oder noch besser eine selbstgemachte Variante davon, wie z.B. bei XiAn oder Asia Nudel Bar :-) Der einzige Grund warum ich aber nicht 5 Sterne gebe ist, dass ich die Nudeln nicht besonders gut fand. Ehrlich gesagt vermute ich sogar, dass sie nicht hausgemacht sind, was ich sehr schade finde. Trotzdem meckere ich hier auf sehr hohem Niveau und die Ramen war trotzdem hervorragend und die Portionen groß. Ich werde definitiv wiederkommen und vielleicht werden die Nudeln ja in Zukunft verbessert :-) Dann gibt es auch 5 Sterne

Essen sehr lecker. Frische und qualitativ hochwertige Produkte. Sehr freundliches und freundliches Personal. Den Kuchen muss man auch gegessen haben. Alles in allem eine 10/10 und nur weiter zu empfehlen!

Ja freudig, dat war ne schoener abend ge. Dat Essen war überschaulich supa und kann ma gerne nochma machen. Als altes Ehepaar und Retner kann ik mir nit mehr wuenschen!

Das Essen hier ist mega lecker und sieht sehr authentisch aus. Es lohnt sich sehr, Ramen (mit ein bisschen Chiliöl) hier zu essen, ínbesondere hausgemachte Gyoza auszuprobieren.
