I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The waiter was pushy and borderline impolite, which made us feel quite uncomfortable. We only ordered one dish (tacos), which was nothing special and overpriced for what it was. Despite us clearly wanting to end the meal, the waiter kept insisting that we order more, even after we asked for the bill. I left a low tip due to the poor service, and not only did the waiter fail to thank us, but when I asked for a proper bill, he appeared visibly annoyed and didn’t even greet us as we left. The only positive aspect was the location. This was my first bad experience with a restaurant in the Global Dining Amex program.

Bestellungen wurden falsch gebracht, unhöfliche Kellner und an den Nachos beißt man sich fast die Zähne aus. Die Guacamole hat gut geschmeckt :D

It's a shame for the beautiful atmosphere. The restaurant is visually impressive, the food was ok, but not justified for the price, but unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired. I am a very patient guest who doesn't get upset easily and is always friendly, but at some point the waiting became too tiring for me. We were in the restaurant for 20 minutes, then the drinks came, then we were ignored for at least 40 minutes until we could order our food. Then it took another 30-40 minutes until the food came. Ergo: wait at least 1.5 hours for food. Nobody can tell me that this fits in with a good, higher-priced, professional concept and creates a relaxed atmosphere. I'm mainly in a restaurant to eat, not to wait. Placing an order with our waiter was also extremely difficult: we were overlooked, served in a rather emotionless and patronizing manner, and we were simply left with the impression that we didn't want to be served at all and that the waiter “knew a little better” about everything. You can sometimes argue about the comments from waitresses, but well-intentioned advice is different from patronizing and that evening it seemed like second nature to me. No matter what you chose on the long menu, you received a comment and the tone was not benevolent. For me it's just not a pleasant, friendly atmosphere in which you WANT to stay, but HAVE to (due to the endless waiting). Other waitresses greeted and said goodbye in a friendly manner, so we may have just received the wrong waiter that evening, but the way we were treated as guests was simply not professional. Conclusion: for a restaurant that wants to give the impression of “upscale” visually and in terms of price, the service and food simply left something to be desired. In the end it all just seemed fake and listless to me and that you were resting on the optics a bit. Very annoying.

Wir wurden noch nie so respektlos von einer Bedingung behandelt. Wir wurden nachdem wir die Getränke bestellt hatten, erstmal 45 Minuten ignoriert bis wir unsere Bestellung für das Essen aufgeben konnten. Dabei hat der Kellner immer wieder versucht uns andere Gerichte aufzudrängen, also nicht empfohlen, sondern aufgezwungen. Dann gab es nur die Hälfte des Essens was auf der Karte stand. Aufmerksam war unser Kellner leider auch nicht, so dass wir neuen Getränkebestellungen auch hinterherlaufen mussten. Nach dem Abkassieren hat der Kellner mir noch sehr höhnisch auf den Rücken geklopft und sich bei uns über das Trinkgeld beschwert, obwohl wir ja keinen (ansatzweise guten) Service hatten. Das Trinkgeld wurde auch direkt am Tisch gezählt. Ein separates Bezahlen war auch nicht möglich. Das Essen war leider auch nur mittelmäßig, es hat uns nicht sonderlich gut geschmeckt. Das Ambiente war mega schön. Ganz toll eingerichtetes Lokal mit sehr viel Geschmack

Shrimp super dry, even after a complaint and a taco that was offered but rejected, to understand, no compensation for the team... I couldn't upload a detailed review for half a year, for whatever reason.

We have never been treated so disrespectfully by a condition. After we ordered the drinks, we were ignored for 45 minutes until we could place our order for the food. The waiter kept trying to force other dishes on us, not recommending them, but forcing them on us. Then there was only half of the food that was on the menu. Unfortunately, our waiter wasn't attentive either, so we had to chase after new drink orders. After collecting the money, the waiter patted me on the back in a very scornful way and complained to us about the tip, even though we didn't have any (or even remotely good) service. The tips were also counted directly at the table. It was also not possible to pay separately. Unfortunately, the food was only mediocre and we didn't like it very much. The atmosphere was really nice. Very well decorated restaurant with a lot of taste

If you're looking for authentic Mexican cuisine, you're better off going somewhere else. Value for money was not ok for us, overpriced for us. More appearance than reality, both in terms of food and service. Hip and cool alone is not enough at these prices.

Honestly, I understand it was a Friday and the house was full, but we waited 1 hour and 20 minutes just for our food - and that with a hungry child. Our waiter was friendly and couldn't help it, but it's just embarrassing to offer such service at such prices. Never again! We paid for our drinks and left. You can resell our food.

Price performance absolutely underground. 15 euros for a small taco. Drinks about €8.50, unfortunately really, really bad. The taco is delicious. Guacamole okay, a bit bland and probably came from a bucket. At least it tasted very run of the mill, well tastes are different, maybe I'm imagining it. The mint passion fruit drink burned my lips, definitely too much mint/menthol... 3 nachos came with the guacamole... I went because of the positive reviews, but unfortunately I can't confirm them. Service and ambience are great!

The restaurant is on a side street, the staff and style are very nice. Unfortunately, other than the food, there was nothing Mexican. We expected staff who spoke Spanish or music. The food was very tasty, but the portions were small. We had the ceviche as a starter and the hamburger and toast with crabs as a main course.

Going in to club social mexicano in Frankfurt, I honestly did not have high hopes, but after being greeted by an exceptional host and being seated almost immediately things were off to a great start. The interior is definitely on point with the theme and it makes for a great party venue. I tried the tacos already when they were only partially open, so I was excited for the full menu. Creating authentic dishes so far from their origin sure is not easy but they have certainly come close and the food is delicious. Definitely coming back and a wholehearted recommendation from me hope you give it a try

We celebrated our birthday with a larger group. Nice restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and well attended. However, the female service person was very moody. When she took the drink, she groaned in annoyance that the order was being placed with her and not with her friend at the table because she asked her friend what she was drinking. Ordered 3 x margaritas, received 3 different ones. To be fair, the content was adjusted upon request. She was attentive to our flowers, which she kindly put in a vase. That was very sweet again. The starters were delicious, unfortunately the main course wasn't... But that's a matter of taste...

Cocktail in a mini glass, no matching cocktail glass, with more ice in it than anything else, for €12!!!! Never again! Wouldn't recommend to anyone!! At least buy proper cocktail glasses!! Absolute impudence!

The place has really nice decoration and atmosphere. However The food was really way under my expectations. Maybe for north Europeans is good, but for the rest of the world it lacks flavour. And the portions were not generous at all. Some food was not what we were expecting when ordered as we know the original ones in Latinamerica. Same title different dish. The service was really bad especially our waitress that was rude when serving us. She came several times to our table asking us if we were ready to order in less than a minute among other things. It was really disappointing. Just leaving the review here so you have the opportunity to improve your service.

The food is supposed to be a bit upscale, i.e. in terms of quantity (little) and presentation, but it doesn't come across as authentic. The taste was OK to good, but overall too weak. The price is too high for that. The food wasn't served together either, but sometimes came 10 minutes apart. A dish was delivered with an incorrect quantity. Service friendly, but overall rather slow and sluggish.

Cozy restaurant, we arrived a little later in the evening and had to wait quite a while for our drinks. The service was nice and took the trouble to explain why the kitchen was already closed and where we could still eat.

The food looks super chic but in my opinion it's not worth the money. Frankfurt has a lot more to offer. The feel-good factor was rather moderate. Great place for a chic night out but overpriced.

My friends and I had the impression that we could eat our fill. First of all, main courses cost on average €35 and are not worth the money. I ordered 3 tacos for €15. I thought I was going to get awesome big tacos, instead the tacos were smaller than my palm. Today I'm in bed with food poisoning. I can't say anything against the service. Kind.

The ambience is beautiful, the interior is extremely harmonious to the eye. Unfortunately, it's difficult to get out of large tables due to the width of the chairs, and I tore my arm quite bloody on the splinters of wood on the armrest. Music is a bit too loud, and unfortunately the clothes don't smell fresh anymore because of the open kitchen. The selection is overwhelming and there are four readings to study at first, while the waiter seems to ask after every paragraph whether you have already decided, even though the opposite is unmistakably visible! The prices are proud. The guacamole for 13e comes quickly (it is already prepared), the quantity is manageable. Especially the whopping THREE! Tortilla chips are not enough for the amount of guacamole. In addition, they were probably prepared before the birth of Christ, because after biting into them there is a risk of tooth loss. About the tacos: Everyone except two people had already gotten their food. Ironically, no waiter came here to ask if everything was OK. After some time we approached the staff, but they responded neither in a friendly nor helpful manner to our concerns. “We have a concept here,” said the waiter. Which didn't answer the question about the missing food. After repeated questions they said: “We have a concept here, sharing.” Slowly the blood pressure went up.. what a f.. concept and sharing.. WHERE IS THE FOOD?! He looked around and pointed to the end of the table. Several tacos were distributed on two plates and the missing ones were among them. How are you supposed to know that and also know which variety represents what?! No apologies, nothing! Instead, various cellars tried to place fake drinks at our table while our actual ones took forever to arrive. About the taste: Edible, but nothing earth-shattering. Portions microscopic, tacos cold and so soggy they fall apart, a dollop of salsa costs 2e extra.. Conclusion: Never ever.

No bueno! I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at Club Social Mexicano. Despite the upscale ambiance, the entire dining experience was ruined by the owner's shockingly rude behavior. From the moment we walked in, we already noticed red flags. Hostesses were rude and unhelpful. What overall made this a shocking negative experience was the owner who told us, “I understand you’re an American and don’t understand portions sizes”. I am from Ecuador and my husband in from Mexico … The food was another major letdown. Portions were tiny, especially given the exorbitant prices. We ordered a side of chips for our salsas and were only served THREE chips. When we notified the waitress, who was also the owner, she got pissed at us and began speaking rudely about us to the rest of her staff. To make matters worse, the quality of the food was abysmal. I've had excellent Mexican food from food trucks. The flavors were bland, and the ingredients didn't taste fresh. Overall, Club Social Mexicano is a pretentious establishment that fails on all fronts: service, value, and food quality. I won’t be returning, and I advise others to steer clear unless they enjoy being overcharged for subpar cuisine and mistreated by the owner.

Overpriced, inconsistent food quality and taste (some food is really good, some food is really bad) But the service was good. Appetiser : ▪️Flautas - taste ok ▪️Totopos con Atun ❌❌❌ - the raw marinated tuna is already not fresh, the flesh already started to break apart, also it’s under seasoning, very border line to taste disgusting. The chips doesn’t taste good and its so hard to chew. Main : ▪️ Tacos Barbacoa 🌮 - Taste good, I really like it, but slightly overpriced (3 for 15€) as the portion is a little small. ▪️Tostada Tlayuda - my friend doesn’t like her main meal Side: ▪️Elote Mexicano - seasoned 🌽, a little spicy, taste is ok but nothing special Dessert: ▪️Cuatro Leches - cake soaked in milk with caramel sauce with some topping, taste good but it definitely don’t worth 15€. Drink: I will skip the softdrink ▪️Michelada (Cocktail) - I ordered this and took a sip and I really don’t like it, and I asked the waiter over and ordered another softdrink and requested him to take away the cocktail. The waiter and restaurant removed the item from the bill and did not charge me for this item, I appreciate this. Serving time is a little long. The environment of the restaurant is nice, especially the interior seat, the couch is really super comfy, we spent quite some time there. All the waiter and waitress are polite and friendly. ——— Conclusion : will come back for the tacos (and environment), nice place to chill with friend. ⚠️ No Chicken Option

Unfortunately completely overrated. The atmosphere is very nice and inviting, everything is tastefully coordinated. That was it for the positive impressions. Unfortunately the price-performance ratio is not right at all. Portions are very small, so you don't have to come hungry. But the price is decent. The prices can be described as outrageous... Unfortunately, the service didn't work either: the nachos with guacamole we ordered as a starter didn't even arrive, and although there were several waitresses nearby, it wasn't possible to order drinks in a timely manner. We were disappointed, find the overall package to be “more appearance than reality” and will certainly never come again.

It was so disappointing! I don't really care if the prices are overpriced as long as the quality is right, it was nothing special and hardly authentic, but since I lived in Mexico for many years I am of course more demanding. What is not acceptable at all is the poor treatment of customers, the service is not only miserable, it is substandard. Never again!

Wir waren an einem Freitag Abend als Gruppe da, das Restaurant war gut besucht. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Musik klasse! Der Service war Mega und alle wurden satt :) wir kommen wieder!

I liked this place for their cozy vibe and it was so nice! I was happy to see Michelada on their drinks menu and tried it, was very good! Next I ordered vegetarian tacos which was not the best but was okay! But what I saw and experienced here in terms of service was very bad. When we were not ordering drinks anymore (After 2 rounds) the staff constantly kept bothering us whether we want to order more drinks and when we said No, the staff told us to pay the bill! It was very rude and unacceptable to not even let us talk and enjoy our evening after ordering 2 rounds of drinks! We just paid the bill and left the place and this kind of behaviour by staff was a disappointment!

It’s decorated nicely. Service and atmosphere are neutral. Prices are expensive which would be ok at a downtown location if the food wasn’t so bad and the portions weren’t so tiny. ‚Tacos’ means small round rubber topped with a spoonful of mushy something regardless of which flavor you order. Stay clear of salad, the leaves have full stems and aren’t washed - your bunny might love the earthy crunch but you won’t. This place has nothing to do with Mexican food and it’s not tasty enough to pass as fun Mexican fusion.

Mexican here. Really good food, and vibes. However, service was horrible. Waiters are rude and do not attend to you at all. Took so long to even take my order. Maybe i’m too used to Mexican service. Cooks and food 10/10 but probably would not come back.

Top-Lunch in Frankfurt. Mega lecker und gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis!!!

Leider waren meine beiden Besuch sehr enttäuschend. Meiner Meinung passen Qualität des Essens und der dazugehörige Preis nicht zusammen. Dazu einige Beispiele: Die Nachos waren so hart, dass sie schlichtweg nicht zu essen waren. Wir machten das Personal darauf aufmerksam, der gesamte Teller ging zurück in die Küche, es gab weder Ersatz noch wurde das Gericht von der Rechnung genommen. Der Nachtisch schmeckte nach Joghurt aus dem Becher und nach Früchten aus der Dose. Die Portionen sind leider sehr klein (!), wir mussten für zwei Personen mehrere Hauptgerichte bestellen und dafür ist es dann zu teuer für die Qualität. Unsere Rechnung lag bei fast 150€ und 100% geschmeckt hat uns kein einziges Gericht. Das Restaurant scheint an seinen eigenen Ansprüchen zu scheitern. Wir werden dort nicht mehr essen. Es wirkt außerdem sehr befremdlich wenn die Google Bewertungen wesentlich besser sind als andere Bewertungen auf anderen Plattformen.

Das Essen ist für die Qualität und Menge viel zu teuer. Für 9 kleine Tacos, die nicht gut bestückt waren und der Taco Teig nicht so lecker schmeckte, haben wir allein 57 Euro gezahlt. Sieht von außen schön aus, bei dem Blick von außen sollte es aber meiner Meinung nach bleiben!

It was a really great evening! We had nothing but great service. The waiter took a lot of time to advise us, which helped us find the right drinks and dishes for us. 👌 The food and drinks were very tasty and visually beautifully presented. 👍 The price and the performance provided are absolutely justified. We will be back definitely! ☀️

The good things first: Drinks, Aperitifs, Coffee and Cocktails were delicious. Also the service was friendly and fast. Negative: Food (vegetarian menu) was nothing special, courses were more or less the same apart from desert. I expected way more for the high price. Ergo: the price to quality ratio does not match. I would recommend the Club Social Mexicano for drinks with friends - but if you are hungry, eat somewhere else.

Preis/Leistung stimmt leider überhaupt nicht. Guacamole völlig fad. Gewürze wären nicht schlecht gewesen. Hauptspeise (Flank Steak) war ok, aber nicht zubereitet wie gewünscht. Auf der Karte aufgeführte Beilagen waren nicht mit dabei. Bedienung mit aufgesetzter Freundlichkeit und aufdringlich. Hauptspeise wurde serviert als die Vorspeise noch nicht einmal fünf Minuten auf dem Tisch war. Frankfurt hat deutlich bessere Mexikaner mit mehr Atmosphäre zu bieten. Man fühlt sich wie in einer Bahnhofshalle. Nichts besonderes. Einmal und nie wieder.

In the fine, stylish and chic ambience of the Club Social "MEXICANO" you can enjoy some original, some creatively modified Mexican dishes and cocktails at a high level. The trendy, extremely pleasant crowd and the courteous, friendly service invite you to linger and relax with a margarita after your meal. This is fine dining the Mexican way! I like to come back again and again.

Das Shrimp Aguachile ist eine absolute Empfehlung! Frische und Schärfe sind perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt. Zudem sind die Garnelen top. Dazu hatten wir noch Tostada con Atun. Der krosse Mais Tortilla, die Avocado Creme und der Thunfisch ergänzen sich perfekt. Die Maiskolben sind auch der Hammer! Die Drinks sind Weltklasse und die Barmitarbeiter sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten Margaritas und eine Homemade Lemonade.

Great Mexican. Top service, sensationally authentic cuisine and a very pleasant atmosphere, plus a great bar. The location is central in downtown Frankfurt. The tables between the restaurant and the terrace are also cool, super communicative and casual. We'd love to come back!

Unique Mexican restaurant with a special flair🤩 The staff is super friendly and accommodating and the Mexican chef brings Mexico to Frankfurt! The food is upscale and therefore a little more expensive, but very Mexican and incredibly tasty. We usually order tacos 🌮 (barbacoa and camarones highly recommended), this time we had beef tataki to share and for me the steak with sweet potato chips and puree - very special and delicious. If you need something sweet for dessert, you should definitely try the churros and the special variation of the rice pudding🤤 The Sprizz de Casa (with the secret ingredient 🩵) is my favorite drink, if you like it really Mexican you will love the Margarita💃🏽

Super delicious food and top friendly service

The quality is unequal. Lacking a pure chilli salsa that isn't mixed with mayonnaise / oil. Only one of the salsas had any bite (habanero), overall dishes lacked spice. The chorizo tacos was my favorite. Missing on freshness factor for the barbacoa tacos. I would habe loved to see true Merida style chicharon (piglet) with skin for the tacos. Without freshly grilled meat it is not really a tacos. The sauces missed freshness and didn't feel hand made, more chipotle style and authentic Mexican. Mexico has such amazing chilli varieties, it shoukd he so easy to do a proper habanera or red chilli salsa but instead of true salsas they were sauces. I will have to try their remaining moles and salsas for a definitive opinion, though. My waiter was great but the experience is disjointed because they all have a role (coat, take order, bring food) and it feels like the waiters have to attend to many tables at once. Sometimes you may have 3 people around you but if you ask them for something that is not their role they either decline or point you to your own waiter. My waiter was great, but I couldn't always find him when I needed becsuse of the room design.

Schönes neues cooles Konzept, leider stimmt die Preisleistung nicht und das Essen ist auch durchschnittlich als auch die Auswahl an Essen ist nicht besonders speziell oder vielfältig.

An sich ein cooler Laden, Essen auch gut, wenn denn das kommt, was man bestellt hat und der Kellner einem nicht das falsche bringt und dann noch behauptet man selbst habe sich geirrt. Der Fairness halber erwähne ich, dass ein anderer Kellner dann den Fehler behoben hat und wir 1 Portion des falschen Essens „gratis behalten“ durften. Die Portionen und die Qualität des Essens stehen in keinem Verhältnis zum Preis. Wie gesagt essen dir gut aber halt nicht so gut dass es den Preis rechtfertigt. Ich war früher schon mal da, da war das Essen besser.

+ Das Essen war super. - Leider mussten wir dreimal nach unseren Getränken fragen. - Die Sitzplätze sind sehr nah beieinander, wodurch keine gemütliche Atmosphäre entstehen kann. - Keine Abgrenzungen oder Schalldämmungen, wodurch es sehr laut war und man das hektische Treiben der Servicekräfte mitbekommen hat. > Fazit: Zu hohes Preisniveau für die Leistung

More appearance than reality. As a group we were dazzled by the nice atmosphere and the outdoor area. Unfortunately, the food was a complete disappointment. High prices for a touch of nothing on the plate... It would be fine if at least the quality and taste were convincing, but none. Tacos were inedible. Oh the tostadas were just a lump of meat on a taco with a bit of lettuce. Meat bloody inside. No questions were asked beforehand. The price here is 15-18 euros for a mini portion that didn't even taste good. All the dishes were quite spicy. Drinks for the price of 7.50 for a diluted passion fruit juice with a bush of mint on top are steep for Frankfurt. Overall, despite the nice atmosphere, it was unfortunately a disappointment!

What a disappointment. I love Mexican food, but this is not Mexican. Atmosphere is not cosy due to the huge open area. Food has nothing to do with Mexican. The concept is more focused on "good looking" than good tasting. The food is actually pretty tasteless. The same was true for the Margherita. Also beef in my tostada was near raw. Portions are very small. Service is continuously trying to sell something, which is annoying. Overall: we will not come back and recommend not to go there

The restaurant is nice, the atmosphere is pleasant. The service good. Now we come to the disadvantages: The food is WAY too expensive. The portions are tiny. The food is also way too spicy. You should definitely ask beforehand whether people like it so spicy. I can't recommend it

As the husband of a Mexican woman and having lived in Mexico for several years, I consider myself to have a fairly good knowledge of Mexican cuisine. We ordered the tacos de barbacoa. A single pleasure! Absolutely authentic cuisine, the meat is a poem and tasted great. Totally recommended from start to finish. Yes, the price level is high but you get a well-equipped restaurant, very friendly and fast service and excellent food. Can only warmly recommend it.

Made the trip to Frankfurt from Wiesbaden based on the reputation of this restaurant and we were not disappointed!

Good ambience and great service, but really overpriced. Mexican food is based on cheap ingredients, here 3 tacos are 19 eur. THREE!

The Mexican team in the kitchen ensures the right taste, tradition and modernity find a place in every dish. The restaurant is also an experience and must definitely be visited. Tlayuda is simply brilliant!!

Very expensive for what you get. The food is ok - it's not the best Mexican in town, but it's tasty. It's just incredibly expensive for what you get. Portions are small so you'll need to either order the tasting menu or quite a few items. Margaritas are good - pricey, but very tasty.

Lecker, aber sehr laut! Der Kellner war super nett, hatte mir aber mein Menü ausgesucht und das wurde mir fast alles ausgeredet. Ich ließ mir vom Kellner was aussuchen, das mir viel Geld kostet hatte, aber mir persönlich gar nicht geschmeckt hatte. Zum Glück ließ ich mir die Vorspeise nicht ausreden 😅 eine Empfehlung sollte man geben, wenn man danach fragt, das war mir schon fast zu übergriffig. Den es hieß, daraufhin ich wäre ja nicht experimentierfreudig und langweilig etc. Selbst den Wein, den ich mit mir aussuchte wurde mir ausgeredet 🙄 das nächste mal, sollte ich wieder hingehen, lass ich mich nicht „volllabern“

The food was tasty, but totally overpriced and I wasn't even full. Aperol watered down. Service a bit too exaggerated. Unfortunately no need to repeat.

The food is not worth it. Ordered the octopus, a complete regret, no effort into it., bland and 40 euros, no effort in the pico de gallo or chimichurri. Tacos are ok, not breathtaking but can be eaten. Cocktails are very solid, especially for the price. Ambience is the only reason you’d go here. Some service staff was nice, some careless, orders got mixed. Wouldn’t go other than for drinks.

Was there for the second time today, very tasty Although we arrived without a reservation, we were quickly offered a table, and the food was also served very quickly. Nothing to complain about 😀

Unfortunately, the restaurant did not meet our expectations (we lived in Mexico for several years). The food was only partially authentic and way too overpriced. A tostada 18€!! Tostadas, totopes and tortillas way too greasy. Ambience great. When it came to service, requests were only partially taken into account.

I am very happy with this Mexican restaurant. The waitress named Bonaventura is extremely friendly and accommodating and the food tasted incredible. Initially there was Taco Barbacoa with juicy beef sweetbreads and a really spicy chippotle sauce. The main course was an original Mexican burger with guacamole and delicious grilled beef. An absolute recommendation when it comes to Mexican cuisine.

Quality has been dropping massively since last year, but this time, it was too much. Tortillas for the tacos were cold and old, cochinita was flavorless, and the tortillas for the cochinita were soaked in oil - not fried, just soaked. When I mentioned to the waitress that the food was not optimal and that I'm mexican, she made an expression that clearly displayed they're not trying to do real mexican food, as if I had to accept the lower quality because it's not a real mexican place - despite some cooks being mexican. It wasn't like this when the place opened, so it's been a big disappointment. I hope things change for the better, since for a while I was ranking this place as the best mexican restaurant in Frankfurt. Sadly, not anymore. With this kind of food and at these prices, I can't recommend it to anyone, although I truly hope it goes back to how it used to be.

The worst Tacos we’ve ever eaten. Everything was too oily, even the Tortilla!!! It also didn’t seem fresh. Really bad.

Lage, Größe, Inneneinrichtung top. Qualität des Essens mittelmäßig. Service sehr schlecht (Umgangston eher für Biergarten oder Apfelweinlocal, 2x Bestellung vergessen!, neues Besteck vergessen nach dem Abräumen der Vorspeise, sehr unhöflich Reaktion auf Hinweis, das im Mojito vermutlich kaum/ kein Rum war). Blick in die offene Küche erinnert eher an McDonalds… Eigentlich gutes Potenzial, aktuell passen allerdings Aussendarstellung und Qualität/ Service nicht zusammen.

They simply ruined our night. - Food takes more than 2 hours to be served. - At some point the waiter didn’t even look at us anymore, what a shame. They just can’t handle having a restaurant at all. After 2 hours we had to get up and have dinner somewhere else. Besides that you order a Negroni and they put tequila in it - what??? The excuse (we are Mexican restaurant so we put tequila in everything). What a nightmare!
