I recently had a disappointing experience at this Mexican restaurant. The food didn't meet my expectations, and the atmosphere was uninviting. The selection of dishes was limited, and the quality left much to be desired. The taste was average, and I expected more, especially in terms of authentic Mexican flavors. I hope management takes this feedback seriously to improve the quality of the restaurant and ensure future guests have a more pleasant experience. €700 for the worst dining experience

A great, spacious restaurant with a very pleasant atmosphere. The menu has a manageable selection of Mexican dishes, which I consider a positive. The tacos were excellent, and the burger and Pollo a la Diabla were also very tasty. The prices are certainly not cheap, but the quality is good. Overall, highly recommended.

Not again ! Don’t recommend at all! We (a group of 6) celebrated a friend‘s birthday. It was a Saturday evening. It started going downhill with half the dishes on the menu not being available! Later, we wanted to pay separately. ‚getrennt‘ is such a common payment method in Germany, but to our absolute surprise, the waitress warned us that she would have to serve other guests so it will take a longer time to pay separately. If we pay together, she was happy to immediately let us pay ??!! She was rude when we tried to request her to let us pay separately as we were getting late. As if this wasn’t enough, we discovered that €21.3 was charged as ‚Trinkgeld‘ without informing us. Please at least have the decency to inform customers for this imposition ! Also, with bad service, guess you decide and put the amount in the bill so that it’s difficult for to reverse. It is difficult to argue at someone‘s special event and make a scene. this was such a bad experience ! Never again ! Food and vibe are offered by many places but mistreating customers is NON NEGOTIABLE. ***Please read other negative reviews and review the bill carefully before paying to avoid surprises***

Vallah Billah is way too expensive. The waiter is alone and completely overwhelmed. Too little food and burnt black, the walls were beautifully painted.

Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience. We were celebrating a colleague's birthday and were looking forward to a lovely evening – but were disappointed in several ways. Despite having made a reservation for six people, we were initially seated at a small table for four. Only after asking were we allowed to move to another table. The service also left a lot to be desired: The waitress was rude, barely spoke German, and even got into an unnecessary argument with one of our colleagues. Orders were not taken correctly, which led to further confusion. Our food also sat untouched in the service area for several minutes before it was finally brought to our table. All in all, it was a disappointing evening. What a shame – we definitely won't be back.

Disappointing Experience Despite Good Food The food was consistently good, but unfortunately, the evening was severely marred by the unfriendly and incompetent service of a blonde-haired waitress. There were problems from the very beginning: - Language barrier & rudeness: The waitress didn't speak German and instead communicated in an impertinent tone – unacceptable in a restaurant of this price range. - Sloppy service: She forgot orders several times or only took them upon request. - Aggressive behavior: Even though my friend had his e-cigarette unused in his hand (after the bartender had already informed him of the smoking ban), she became loud and condescending for no reason. When we asked her to remain respectful, she responded with the arrogant statement: "You're guests and you have to behave!" For a restaurant with such prices, this behavior is an absolute disgrace. We felt neither welcome nor treated fairly – and we will definitely not be coming back.

Second and last time, a lot of money for unfortunately very bad food. The guacamole and salad were delicious. The meat was dry and tough, and the shrimp in the appetizer and the main course were rubbery. The service was friendly, but unfortunately not enough to make up for the terrible food.

Super delicious food! It may look like small portions at first glance, but everything was perfectly adequate and very tasty. For starters, the two of us had three tacos – highly recommended. And for main courses, we had the burger and the octopus. For dessert, we had some churros. Everything was super delicious – highly recommended. The prices are a bit steep.

We were quite disappointed with the taco tortillas. They were basically brown, flavorless pancakes with a mediocre topping. It's not authentic Mexican cuisine; I think it's an attempt at a modern interpretation. It would have been nice to know that beforehand. The service was ambivalent. If you like superficially polite and fake friendliness, this is the place for you. If you prefer to be the center of attention and don't want to hear any clichés, you won't find what you're looking for here. We were still hungry afterward!

Excessive prices for the flavor. If you're hungry, don't come. It's gourmet! The juices are from Rewe boxes. For that, go to Chipotle.

Came here on a whim with my girls for my birthday. We had originally made reservations for a different restaurant and got turned away for how we were dressed and found this restaurant was open(it was already late-ish) and the kitchen is open until 23:00. We came by and were immediately greeted and treated wonderfully by a super sweet hostess who brought us to our table. Our waitress was so lovely and kind - she had a great sense of humor, played into our costume gags, and even got the kitchen to make us dessert (past the ordering deadline). This restaurant and our waitress saved our night out in Frankfurt! Thank you for making such a memorable and fun experience! Now for the interesting part for most review readers: The food here is amazing! My top recommendations: EVERYTHING! 1- ceviche 2- Tataki HABANERO MANGO SALASA!!!!! 🌶️🌶️🥵🤤😋😋 Tacos that I tried (and loved them all): Barbacoa Pork belly Pescado Only one I wouldn't really recommend is the jackfruit -still yummy, just a bit overpowering I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to have a fun, elevated meal! And the cocktails were soo good (and pretty strong) - Worth the higher price tag for sure. If I celebrate in frankfurt again, I will come back here

Mahis was really great, helpful, attentive and really nice person. The food was really close to Mexican in flavor, atmosphere was nice and easy. Really nice place for eating, having a drink and chill!!!

Visit on Tuesday, June 3rd We sat outside and were served by the dark-skinned waiter. The food was good, the drinks were okay, but the service was unfortunately not good. For those prices, you expect good service! The waiter couldn't reach the plates and said, "Move them over." Drinks and food were served carelessly. When ordering drinks, we had to ask three times when they would finally arrive. And there was really nothing going on in the place. A friendly smile from the waiter would have been enough, but he was just annoyed, and all the guests at the next table felt the same way. Please work on being more friendly to guests.

The ambiance is really nice. The waiters are nice, but you have to wait forever to order. The food doesn't taste bad, but for the very high price, you get very ordinary food. The food is beautifully presented, but it's very lightly seasoned and doesn't really taste like anything. For the price, I was very disappointed.

The food looks completely different on the Google page - what we got could hardly be called Mexican. Carelessly prepared, disappointing in taste and definitely not worth the price. The service was okay, but not particularly attentive. The waiters seem more like they're celebrating themselves. If anything, it's worth a visit just for cocktails and the ambience!

My husband, daughter, and I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant—not just once, but twice! Mediocre visit. Even though the store was not very busy, we waited a long time before we could order and then we waited a long time for the food. Unfortunately, the food isn't authentically Mexican in the slightest. Store looks dingy. We were there for 1.5 hours and the neighboring tables were not cleared (see photos). We had a wonderful evening! Lucas greeted us warmly upon entering and escorted us to a wonderful table. The atmosphere was simply fantastic – stylish, cozy, and with a fantastic DJ who created the perfect mood. Special praise goes to our server, who was not only incredibly friendly and attentive, but also gave us excellent advice. She explained the dishes to us with great expertise, made great recommendations, and told us all about the drinks we enjoyed. You rarely find such passion and warmth in service! The entire team was fantastic – dedicated, welcoming, and always with a smile. We felt completely at home and will definitely be back. A big thank you for this wonderful evening and the team!

It was my first time eating there with my family. The boss Lucas Toro is great! He brought us to the table at reception and received a warm welcome. Our service, the name has unfortunately been omitted! BIG PRAISE! We had a lot of fun, laughed and he took great care of us. We didn't miss anything. The food looked great, very tasty and the atmosphere in the restaurant as well as the staff in team 1a including great music from the DJ A thank you to the whole team! We'll be back!

Drinks and the food itself were good, but it’s a tourist trap. Portions are for abcrombie and fitch models and the prices are for nepo babies. Also it’s barbaric to charge 7 euro for chips and salsa and then proceed to give out 2 tablespoons of salsa and a small bowl of chips.

The only 100% real Mexican thing in the restaurant was… me! Nice vibes and nice staff but the food is an overpriced weird version of Mexican dishes. It’s ok to be “original” but your tortilla is way to stiff! For that price I’m sure you can afford a freshly made tortilla. BTW, kudos on the live dj :))

Location is great, many waiters work on weekends and are hard-working. The music isn't too loud, just right for a conversation. Like others, I don't think the price/performance ratio is appropriate in relation to the portions, otherwise it was tasty.

The open kitchen is great! But to me personally, each plate has its own flavor and generally too salty for me. And one point is the waiter … they are very nice but not attentive. I asked twice the dessert menu and bills, but no one came, for the purpose of speeding up, maybe I shall pretend to just wear jacket and walk away?

We have been here several times until the end of 2024. Of course the restaurant is not inexpensive, but it offered exciting Mexican dishes and a great atmosphere. At the beginning of 2025, the menu was reduced by almost 40%, what remains are the standard dishes rather than the special ones. The waiter justified this with the planned reduction in waiting times, but we still waited 90 minutes for the food... It's a shame, but that will probably be the last visit.

I went with my friends for the first time to eat there. The place has a modern and chic concept. I am Mexican, I loved the place 💖. The food tastes really good and is gourmet style. The staff does not speak Spanish, apart from the chefs, by the way, they very friendly greeted me 👋. But one of the waiters, with long hair and a beard, his attitude was very rude and despotic; I didn't like the way he treated us. But I would really eat there again, but I would prefer to have another waiter serve us. Otherwise, everything was 👌.

From the opening in 2022 until early 2024 this restaurant was absolutely great. The music selection has never matched the Mexican atmosphere and it was too loud, but the food was great. Tonight 08 February is our last visit. Our table was not ready when we arrived and we had to wait to figure out where we are being seated, we were even asked to come 15 minutes early. They changed the quantity/size of the Margarita bottle to a lesser amount but raised the price to 90 euros from 80 euros. The main course took more than 45-50 minutes after we finished our appetizers, where we had to ask if they had forgotten our order. Others with larger parties came in after us and had their appetizers and main course served before ours. Right away from the food presentation we realized this is a different chef. The tortillas were soggy where they fell apart as you try to eat the tacos, the tacos were overfilled, and all the garnish on top is ridiculous. Overall it was not a pleasant dinner nor tasteful as it used to be before. I left two tacos on the plate untouched as it was not good at all. They've also reduced their menu drastically to cater to the European palette. The server was not too attentive to check on the table and we had to flag him down for asking for our food, to ordering more drinks, and to pay. This restaurant has lost it better moments and great food from before.

Underground. The Caesar salad came with reheated pieces of chicken with gooey, pale skin. The meat was dried out. We had it returned and they still charged it in full.

Delicious drinks that, contrary to some reviews, were brought to the table very quickly, and very good food. With two shared starters and one main course each, the three of us were very satisfied and full, but we still didn't miss the churros for dessert. The service was very attentive, friendly and courteous, which is unfortunately no longer standard these days. The fact that the restaurant has a slightly higher price level should come as no surprise if you do a little research before your visit - but for the service and the food on offer including drinks, it is definitely justified in Frankfurt.

This was our second time in the restaurant. The first time everything just worked. The employee (tall, long dark hair) should get a raise. The food was made even better by the really nice gentleman. That was also the reason why we visited the restaurant again. But this time a lot of things were just totally underground. The employee constantly tried to sell us extra things, regardless of whether we even wanted them. Everyone else had chips on their seats as a nice gesture, we got them after 45 minutes and only after asking and after the starter had already been there. Here too, 20 minutes passed before the employee took action. The soda we got (after 30 minutes) was not carbonated because the water was tapped, which is not acceptable for a restaurant that claims to be a bit higher class! The waiter then cheekily said that we can buy a bottle of sparkling water. I'm also welcome to buy every single ingredient in my drink if that's the concept... The food was ok this time, it was much better the first time. It's a shame that the quality isn't always maintained here either. When we wanted to pay we had to wait 30 minutes for this. Shortly before that, someone tried to sell us something again, which bazaar are we actually at... . Then the "visibly overwhelmed" employee came and presented us with a card machine with a fixed amount, which I paid out of sheer confusion. Normally you will receive the bill in advance with all the dishes ordered. Incredibly unprofessional for a restaurant that would like to be more.

Very nice atmosphere, food was great and not the usual zero eight fifteen menu, I really liked that. Exceptional cuisine with selected dishes. You can also come to the bar just to drink. There is also a DJ on Saturdays, which I think is really good. Prices are not cheap 😉 but normal for Frankfurt conditions. With 50€ per person you have to at least calculate

Sehr schönes Ambiente, essen war nicht der null acht fünfzehn Menü, das hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Aussergewöhnliche Küche mit ausgewählten Gerichten. Man kann auch nur zum trinken an die Bar kommen. Samstags legt auch ein DJ auf was ich richtig gut finde. Preise, ist nicht günstig 😉 aber für Frankfurter Verhältnisse normal. 50€ p.P. muss man mindestens rechnen

The service was rude and incredibly slow. When I pointed out that I didn’t want any ice in my drink (since the glass was almost entirely filled with ice), the waiter removed the ice but left the glass barely half full. We ordered ceviche, which was served without any accompaniments like tostadas or chips, as is typically expected. The tacos were very small and completely overpriced. While the taste was okay, they weren’t anything special. The octopus dish was dry and lacked any sides, making it quite disappointing. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant.

As a Latino, I'm honestly amazed at the ratings regarding the food. The restaurant and the staff gave me 4/5 stars, but the food got 1/5. The cocktails here are definitely recommended. Unfortunately the food wasn't what I expected for the price range. Salt was often missing and I even find street food to taste better. 14€ for 2 tacos whose taste is unfortunately below average... If you're looking for authentic, delicious Mexican food, you've unfortunately come to the wrong place. Nevertheless, I would like to praise every employee again. Everyone was always friendly and competent.

This was by far the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. We tried the Chef’s Choice Menu, and every dish was perfectly balanced – an explosion of flavors! Service: the receptionist sat us at the most terrible table - the table was so small and in the hallway. Very uncomfortable. Although 3/4 of the restaurant was free. For the price and the money you leave behind, I would like to sit in a better place. Ambience nothing special. Only the kitchen looked authentic.

Zum Jahresausklang wollten wir unserer Tochter etwas gönnen, nachdem sie mal wieder in Frankfurt war und sind in den Club Social "Mexicano" gegangen. Bisher war ich von Mexikanern nur mäßig angetan - aber das war hier völlig anders. Richtig gute, leckere Sachen - sehr freundlicher Service. Hier gehe ich garantiert wieder rein. Musik könnte etwas leiser sein, aber das war es dann auch schon mit der Negativkritik. Nicht ganz billig, hier zu essen - aber die Preise entsprechen der hohen Qualität.

1 star ⭐️ Unfortunately, my visit to Club Social Mexicano was a disappointing experience. The prices are overpriced and the portions are way too small. Although the food was good overall, it was disproportionate to the prices charged. What shocked me the most, however, is the restaurant's practice of having negative, honest reviews removed by lawyers. This leaves me stunned and shows how little value is placed on constructive feedback. I would recommend everyone to stay away from this restaurant - there are definitely better and fairer options.

Schönes Ambiente, gute Cocktails, Essen war in Ordnung, Preise etwas zu hoch. Das Kleingedruckte in der Reservierungsbestätigung sollte man beachten, man hat nur zwei Stunden Zeit.

Leider passt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hier überhaupt nicht. Völlig überteuert für Essen mit kaum Geschmack.

Very nice location, good atmosphere, great drinks! But: we won't be coming back for dinner. On my first visit about 1.5 years ago, the food was really excellent. The ceviche was highly recommended, but has since been removed from the menu. On my last two visits the food was just mediocre, the fries were cold and soggy, and the burgers, steak and chicken were neither convincing in terms of quality nor taste. At the beginning I could say that it was expensive, but good and authentic, but now I just think it's expensive.

Sehr aufmerksame Bedienung, leckere Cocktails, sehr gutes Essen. Ein wunderschöner Abend.

The service was bad. It took 30 minutes to even be able to place an order. And that only came after we spoke to him several times. Then it took forever until the food and drinks finally came together. There is only one waiter who has any knowledge and was able to explain something to me about the wines. He was very courteous and polite. The tacos felt like they didn't taste like anything. Absolutely incomprehensible given the prices.

Baris der sich heute Abend um uns gekümmert hat war überragend, sehr aufmerksam und sehr nett. Allgemein schönes Ambiente und tolles Essen. Kommen gern wieder.
