We had a truly fantastic evening at Club Michel! The food was delicious and the service was super friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back!

Really great atmosphere and good food. Unfortunately the service is terrible, we had to wait so long for everything and they forgot some orders. Few years later, I have to update my review. We went again to this restaurant, the food was expensive and very disappointing. This place is very loud and you have to shout to have a normal conversation. After a few complaints about the food, waiters tried to make up for it which was appreciated. But overall we had a bad experience and won't go again.

I used to love it, especially the food and atmosphere. The location is still great, albeit larger, but unfortunately the food is boring and uninspired for the money. The taste is okay but not for this price. Unfortunately the presentation was also mediocre, everything was slapped onto a small plate. It's a shame, and just as average as the Okay Baby pop-up. Will definitely try it again, but not anytime soon.

Very nice evening at Club Michel in Frankfurt. The food was really excellent – ​​fresh, tasteful and lovingly prepared. Every bite was a delight and the menu caters for every taste. I was particularly impressed by the diversity and quality of the dishes, which are both classic and creative. The service was also great: the team was very attentive, friendly and accommodating without being intrusive. You immediately feel welcome and well looked after. The atmosphere in the restaurant is pleasant and cozy, perfect for a relaxing evening. Parking is available in the parking garage at the theater, and from there it is just a few steps to the restaurant. It's a bit difficult to find, but you can orientate yourself by the large glass front on the first floor - the entrance is directly below. All in all, a great restaurant that I would happily recommend and will definitely visit again.

A wonderful place for an alternative dinner feeling. Very friendly and competent service, exquisite food and a fine selection of wines make this restaurant or dining place something special. Far away from the hustle and bustle of the Bahnhofsviertel, but still in the middle of it all, a nice place to stay. The (new) bar on the ground floor also invites you to toast after dinner. Terrific!

We were excited about the reopening and were disappointed. The idea is still great. The room now seems very full. The menu sounded good, but the execution was rather despondent and bland, which doesn't justify the prices. Service great.

Ambience, food, service in a nutshell 10/10. The team more than convinced us of the quality of the products with several courses. We came from Stuttgart and I have to say it was very worth it, would love to do it again 🙏🏽

What a place - whether it's a cozy evening for two or in a larger group, the ambience and service in combination with the fabulous food completely round off the evening. Always worth a visit! The wine list is also incredibly strong!

Yesterday was my second visit to Club Michel, and likely my last. Both visits were disappointing. In December, I found a sharp piece of glass in an oyster. The manager offered a glass of wine as compensation, but I declined and paid in full. Despite the incident, the food was great, so I gave them another chance. Last night, I brought a friend and praised the food. Midway through our meal, a waitress rudely told us to move seats to accommodate another group, even though other tables were available. The disruption ruined our experience, and the food—while decent—didn’t justify the price. I usually overlook minor issues, but after two bad experiences, I’m done with Club Michel. For their prices, the service should be much better.

Das Okay Baby hat stilistisch aufgeholt und ist schicker geworden. Auch noch teurer als der Club Michel - bei schwacher Küchenleistung. Moules frites sind sehr wenig, sehr verkocht, lasche Fritten und zu kalt serviert worden. Der Salat vorneweg hatte einige faulige Blätter. Der Hinweis bei der Servicemitarbeiterin wurde ignoriert. Ignoranz ist dort sowieso der Hype. Service, der nicht serviert und quasi keine Dienstleistung erbringt, außer die Teller abzustellen. Schade, eigentlich ein schöner Ort.

Very unfriendly, had reservations from 7pm to 9pm and around We were told at 8:23 p.m. we should leave in 5 minutes. Extremely unfriendly, wouldn't recommend anyone to go to the new location at Flemings. I've been to every location so far and thought it was great, but now it's extremely busy and unfriendly.

Great store! I went to the Amp Pop-up and had a great evening. The service is charming and attentive and the cuisine is honest and delicious. The food is affordable even for poor students :) Highly recommended!

Neu eingerichtete Location, Essen wie gewohnt auf hohem Niveau und der Service rundet den Abend perfekt ab!!

Eigentlich waren wir sonst immer zufrieden im Club Michel. Unser letzter Besuch im Pop Up Store La Ruby war allerdings nicht empfehlenswert. Es fing damit an, dass die Bedienung uns nicht sagen konnte, was für ein Rotwein offen ist. Wir durften zwar probieren, aber auch dann wusste sie nicht, was sie gebracht hatte und hatte offensichtlich auch nicht nachgefragt. Wir haben dann 1h auf unsere Vorspeise gewartet und sie erst nach Rückfrage erhalten. Nach einer weiteren Stunde war von der Hauptspeise immer noch nichts zu sehen, es kam aber auch niemand zu uns, um es zu erklären. Wir haben sie dann schließlich abbestellt. Die Ausrede beim Bezahlen war, dass das Bon-System ausgefallen sei und sie versucht hätten , zu rekonstruieren, wer was bestellt hatte. Hat wohl offensichtlich nicht geklappt. Ein offensiver und ehrlicher Umgang mit Nachfragen wäre wünschenswert gewesen. Die Vorspeisen waren durwachsen. Die Aubergine war super, das Tartar belanglos, beim Gazpacho hat die Chilly den Geschmack gekillt. (Das hatte wir zur Überbrückung der Wartezeit bekommen) Fazit: Nach 2h hungrig und enttäuscht gegangen. Deutlich überteuert für das Essen und den Service (2Aperitifs, 2GlasWein, 2Vorspeisen und ein Wasser für >80€). Sehr schade!

Wir hatten einen gemeinsamen schönen Abend im Club Michel, die Begleitung des Service war unglaublich angenehm ,kompetent und lustig (Grüße an Chau) das Essen war auf einem sehr hohem Niveau und sehr gut!bis bald!sehr zu empfehlen !

Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut, der Service aber leider eine Katastrophe. Alle sinf zwar freundlich, aber ständig wurden Sachen vergessen, man musste ewig warten oder Getränke waren falsch. So macht es leider keinen Spaß

Waren mit Freunden da. 1 Stunde Wartezeit für das erste Getränk. 2 Stunden dann für das Essen. Pommes weich wie Spaghetti, unsere Muscheln waren komplett verkocht. So laut, dass man sich nur schwer unterhalten kann. Und teuer. Service war nett.

Leckeres Essen und vorallem sehr gute Drinks (auch alkoholfreie Varianten)! Der Service ist freundlich, ggf. Jedoch etwas unterbesetzt, wodurch Sachen vergessen werden können (nicht dramatisch). Preise spiegeln die hohe Qualität der Produkte und liebe zum Detail wieder. Das Ambiente ist im aktuellen Stanley Diamond elegant und chic.

Die Küche ist von gleich sehr guter Qualität wie in der Münchener Straße( Frites waren ein Ausrutscher) aber der Service hat im Stanleys doch nachgelassen. Nassforsches Auftreten übertüncht halt nicht mangelnde Professionalität. Aber daran werden wir uns in der Gastronomie wohl in der Zukunft gewöhnen müssen….

“Durchwachsen” fasst den Abend gut zusammen. Die Atmosphäre war klasse, das hilft über die Schwächen weitestgehend hinweg: Sehr kleine Portionen, so dass wir nicht richtig satt wurden. Besonders der Knurrhahn war viel zu wenig und wurde ohne Beilagen, wie Reis oder Brot, serviert. Die Weinpreise sind hoch, oberes Frankfurter Niveau. Der Service war gut, aber verschwunden, als wir bezahlen wollten.

Toller Abend/ lovely evening Wir waren zufällig dort und hatten das Glück, auch ohne Reservierung einen Tisch zu bekommen. Wir kannten den Club Michel nur vom ursprünglichen Standort in der Münchner Straße und wussten nicht, dass sie vorübergehend umgezogen sind. Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut: als Vorspeise hatten wir das Tartar. Als Hauptgang haben wir das Lamm und die Muscheln bestellt. Für uns hätte in der Muschelsoße ein wenig (mehr?) Wein sein können, die Pommes waren wirklich sehr gut. Eine Flasche Wein kostet 28€ aufwärts. Der Service war, wie immer, professionell, freundlich und entspannt. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Vielen Dank für einen schönen Abend! We stopped by chance and were lucky to get a table even without a reservation. We only knew Club Michel from the original location in Münchner Straße. The food was really very good: we had the tartare as a starter. For the main course we ordered the lamb and the mussels. For us, there could have been a little (more?) wine in the mussel sauce, the fries were really very good. A bottle of wine costs 28€ upwards. The service was, as always, professional, friendly and relaxed. We will definitely come again. Thank you for a lovely evening!

Küche und Service sind der Hammer!!

Super cooles Restaurant mit sehr zuvorkommendem Personal und tollem Wein

Der Club Michel, wegen Brandschutz seit einugen Wochen geschlossen, ist wiedergeboren in den alten Räumlichkeiten des Stanley in der Ottostraße. Zwei Menüs, veg oder mit Fleisch, kleine aber feine Weinauswahl, wie schon in der Münchner beste Stimmung, voll, laut, lebendig. Wie man erfuhr, ist keine durchgehende Öffnung geplant und der Umzug zurück zum angestammten Platz ist wahrscheinlich. Bis dahin eben auf der anderen Seite des Bahnhofs: Chapeau!!!

Etwas ungewöhnlich zu finden, man muss schon die Schilder suchen und denen folgen. Und die Info, dass CM im ersten Stock liegt, hilft auch. Wenn man dann aber mal geklingelt hat und eingelassen wurde, versteht man das etwas kryptisch beschriebene Konzept richtig. Tolle, heimelige Atmosphäre, obwohl es recht laut ist und die offene Küche viel Spannendes zu sehen bietet. Die Weinkarte ist okay-ish, die sieht gut sortiert aus, Qualität aber nur Durchschnitt - dafür aber preislich ok. Das Essen sticht aber positiv heraus. Sehr leckere Gerichte, auf den Punkt, mit eigener Note, aber ohne übertrieben zu wirken. Nach sehr guten Vorspeisen und Hauptgerichten vielen die Desserts wieder etwas ab. War aber noch gut - ebenso wie der Espresso zum Abschluss.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker, aber von diesenn mageren Portionen wird man leider nicht satt. Die Preise rechtfertigen dies auch nicht. Die Getränkekarte ist toll!

One of the poorest restaurant services I have ever received in my life. A brief summary of the evening: 1) Booked a week in advance, arrived & seated relatively quickly though it seemed staff were bemused that customers actually turned up! Time of the table was 7pm though clearly the restaurant was not ready for this start time. There was multiple tables still being set up with staff frantically running around. We were seated outdoors (in the car park), presumably cars were suppose to move out of ahead of the restaurant opening but instead moved during “service”. Literally car fumes blown directly in your face. 2) Ordered a bottle of wine which took 30mins to arrive 3) Took another 30mins for a waitress to take a food order even after being prompted. 4) Starters came withing 10mins after this which was fine but the mains took another 90mins to arrive. I had to prompt the waitress multiple times during this and had to leave my seat to gain someone’s attention. We were essentially ignored for the entire duration of the evening. 5) The weirdest thing was there was a table in the centre which a couple of staff ate their meal on. That’s fine but was very bizarre that they were openly eating their meals in the restaurant but not serving customers. 6) After finally eating our meals which were mediocre at best, I spoke to the manager who apologised and did partially refunded the meal for the disaster of an evening. Food is relatively expensive for what you receive and service is beyond poor.

Haben Sie schon einmal etwas von amerikanischen Themenrestaurants gehört, die Ihre Gäste - als Teil der gastronomischen Erfahrung - absichtlich unfreundlich behandeln? Leider gibt es dieses Angebot noch nicht in Frankfurt, doch Club Michel tut sein Bestes, um diesem Problem Abhilfe zu verschaffen. Kurz und knapp zum Essen - denn das steht nach Ende eines Besuchs sicherlich nicht im Zentrum: Der Küche können bei Club Michel keinerlei Vorwürfe gemacht werden. Die Speisekarte variiert oft, die Gerichte sind kreativ. Im Hauptgang sind die Portionen auch durchaus sehr fair gewählt, was Vorspeisen betrifft lässt sich dies nicht immer sagen. Die Qualität des Essens wird dem Ambiente und grundsätzlichen Restaurantkonzept also durchaus gerecht. Der eigentliche Zauber dieses Restaurants liegt jedoch in der provozierend bewussten Gleichgültigkeit, mit der das Service-Personal ihre Gäste bewirtet. Bereits zu Beginn wird man durch Pampigkeit und schlecht geführte Reservierungslisten darauf aufmerksam gemacht, dass es als Gast ja per se ein Privileg ist, hier sein zu dürfen. Wir waren mittlerweile zwei Mal hier - jeder hat ja eine zweite Chance verdient. Während uns beim ersten Mal unterstellt wurde, man wolle sich dreist auf die Reservierungsliste schmuggeln, weil unser Name nicht darauf stünde (der Fehler liegt hier wohl erstmal grundsätzlich beim Gast), verwies man uns diesmal emotionslos mit Handgeste auf einen freien Tisch und feuerte uns dann nach mehrmaligem Nachfragen drei Karten mitsamt Geschirr-Porzellanschale auf den Tisch. Lassen Sie sich nicht beirren: Nachfragen beim Service - etwa, wo Getränke bleiben, auf die man seit 30 Minuten wartet - werden nicht mit naheliegenden Gesten und Aussagen wie "oh da schaue ich mal nach" goutiert. Man hat sich hingegen darauf verständigt, den Gast kurz kommentarlos anzustarren - um sich dann anderen Dingen zu widmen. So erfreut man sich jedes Mal über die prickelnde Unsicherheit, ob die Nachfrage nun erfasst wurde - oder eben nicht. Planen Sie zudem etwas Zeit für den Bezahlprozess ein - 5x nachfragen und 40+ Minuten warten sind nicht unüblich, wie auch einige andere Bewertungen zeigen. Besonders irritierend, wenn die Wartezeit etwa nicht durch die Bewirtung anderer Gäste zu begründen ist, sondern durch wahlweise Handy- und/oder Zigarettenpausen des Service-Personals. Außer natürlich, Sie sind mit dem Service-Personal befreundet; dann gelten andere Regeln. Letzteres erklärt auch die saftigen Preise. Das (gute) Essen wäre fair taxiert mit 10 - 15% geringeren Preisen - hier hat man wohl, gewieft wie man ist, die 10 - 15 % der Gäste einkalkuliert, die ob des langen Wartens auf die Rechnung ohne zu zahlen gehen. Fassen wir zusammen: Mit gut ausgestattetem Portemonnaie und einer Freude daran, sich bei einem Restaurantbesuch als Gast verantwortlich dafür zu fühlen, dass man Service-Personal von der wohlverdienten Freizeit abhält, ist der Club Michel genau Ihr Ding. Denn wenn Sie erst einmal die Gunst des Service-Personals gewonnen haben (ich tippe so ab 15+ Besuchen), ist das sicher schön hier. Ich persönlich verweile lieber in den dutzenden anderen guten Restaurants - nicht nur in Frankfurt, selbst im Bahnhofsviertel - in dem man sich gastfreundlich willkommen fühlt. Wenn ich pampigen Service will, wähle ich das Original - und fahre nach Berlin.

Der Besuch war ein besondere Erlebnis. Das Essen war hervorragend und unser Kellner sehr aufmerksam. Adrián hat mit seinem Service unseren Abend perfekt abgerundet!

Tolles Essen eine kleine Oase in Bahnhofsnähe.

Von außen unscheinbar und versteckt inmitten des Bahnhofsviertels, drinnen Hinterhof Atmosphäre sowie ein Innenbereich. Wer eine lockere und freundliche Atmosphäre schätzt wird sich hier wohlfühlen. Dazu tragen vor allem auch die Mitarbeitenden bei. Eine überschaubare und saisonale Karte bietet für jedermann etwas an, die Gerichte waren durch die Bank sehr lecker und top zubereitet. Bis zum nächsten Mal!

Wir waren gestern spontan hier essen und waren positiv überrascht. Auf den ersten Blick super unscheinbar, da im Hinterhof versteckt. Aber war ein echt tolles Ambiente und ein super Service. Es wurde sich richtig viel Mühe beim Service gegeben und das Essen war hervorragend. Von der Vorspeise bis zum Dessert hat alles gepasst. Der Wein war auch super lecker. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und empfehlen es gerne weiter. Wir kommen sicher bald wieder!

Club Michel is more than just a restaurant. its the story behind, the people and the memories we created there on the first floor - its a magical place. Sometimes the music is loud enough - always the music is good. Food is always creative, ever changing and has some highlights like moules & frites or international chefs for events. go there on a weekend with loads of friends and get drunk. You will hopefully get a glimpse of the CM spirit.
