I ordered through UberEats. The delivery was smooth and quick, so I give the delivery service 4 stars. I'd love to give the food 0 stars. The fact that the restaurant has "Chicken" in its name is misleading and a disgrace: The chicken wings were undercooked; the meat was slimy, moist, and partially pink. It tasted watery and bland, as if cheap frozen food had been briefly thrown into the fryer. The coleslaw seemed old, unappealing, and anything but fresh. The food was inedible. I had to throw everything away and requested a refund. I strongly advise against ordering from here.

Extremely good oriental-style chicken fried food. I really enjoyed this kind of fusion cuisine. German-style fried chicken with red cabbage, hummus, aioli, salad, and pide bread. Accompanied by a generous sip of apple spritzer. How wonderful is that?

The chicken wasn't cooked through, we had three halves, and when we started eating, the chicken was dark inside, not white like chicken should look. The chicken bites were mushy, and the breading was wet and simply disgusting. The hummus was factory hummus, not fresh, and the salad was simply dry. €45 in the trash, barely eaten.

I recently visited this restaurant and it was a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, the flavors were balanced, and the ingredients were fresh, making every bite a special experience. The service was excellent; the staff were friendly, helpful, and caring about the customers' comfort. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was comfortable and clean, which made the visit even more enjoyable. I recommend everyone to try it, and I will definitely come back again.

The fries were simply refried instead of making new ones. The garlic sauce was too acidic. The salad wasn't exactly fresh either. Perhaps they should learn how to refrigerate it properly. The hummus and chicken were edible. Therefore, 2 stars, but in my opinion, definitely not recommended. Staff are on the phone while working, which I find unprofessional as a guest. Conclusion: The price-performance ratio is not right. I'll never be back.

We ordered a burger and a meal for €18. The place was empty except for 3-4 tables, but I got the impression that my order was just too much for one person. The burger was wrapped in paper and simply placed on the counter without a plate or anything else. Not tasty. The meal consisted of stale-tasting hummus and a special sauce that, apart from the garlic, tasted very acidic. The salad had brown edges all over it, and the diced tomatoes already had a slimy film on them. The chicken was warm but way oversalted. The amazing bread that they simply took out of the package and slapped on half the chicken without warming it up wasn't particularly tasty either. You can tell that there's no love or professional honor in this place. They'd rather talk on their cell phones than take care of customers waiting at the counter. That was our first and last visit to CityChicken.

My wife bought several breaded chicken pieces and half a chicken. The quality was OK, but the price/performance ratio (€21.80) was not right at all. Honestly, €6.40 for half a chicken is outrageous. You don't need it!

I'm female, and I was probably too much for the staff. I got some really disgusting looks, and they couldn't even speak to me properly. Misogyny oozed from every pore. The menu wasn't properly prepared, and I didn't get any sauce. Never again...! The taste was okay, but the value for money was poor, and yes, it's dirty.

As a German, you're simply discriminated against. I ordered a burger menu. Three people, presumably Arabs, came into the restaurant after me and all got their food before me. Then I had to eat a cold burger. Thanks for nothing.

City Chicken used to be great, especially the Menu 1 Special. Since the founder left and opened City Chicken Nahs, the quality has declined significantly. The chicken is often dry, the special sauce has barely any flavor, and the bread isn't grilled properly. Fries taste like they came from a subway snack bar. The garlic sauce is okay, but a bit dry. The hummus tastes too dry. Hygiene is a problem: Employees are constantly on their phones, hands aren't washed, and you can even see it through the window. Drinks often arrive incorrectly: Order sugar-free but get a regular version. And Coca-Cola is in the range, despite Fritz-Kola, which doesn't fit with a halal-oriented approach.

We were there on a Saturday evening. The place smells strongly of barbecue, and now our clothes do too. The table was semi-clean; I had to wipe it down myself. We ordered menu 1 twice. 1. The fries were lukewarm, almost cold. 2. The salad next to the fries was green and unripe. Absolutely inedible. 3. The chicken was okay, but not really good. Any chicken truck in the parking lot couldn't do any worse. 4. The hummus and garlic sauce were also rather mediocre. 5. The bread was a 2/5. It could have been crispy and warm. We actually went because of the good reviews, and I don't understand why they're good. The other customers only ate half of their food. The man at the counter was very friendly, though!

Kind of a gamble. One day the chicken is perfect, other days it's too dry or sometimes too small. Still tasty. Photos will follow next time...

All in all, the food was okay, but I would only really recommend the chicken sandwich. Sauces are shown for all dishes in the preview pictures, but only the half chicken actually comes with any.

I ate here again on January 24th, 2025. Every time I come here I look forward to crispy hot pieces of chicken. But unfortunately from time to time I become more and more disappointed and I have the feeling; that the quality of the service and the food decrease each time. Nevertheless, a rock-solid shop that I can recommend to people who want to eat halal chicken in the wonderful little old town in Spandau.

Heartlessly prepared food that bathes in oil on the plate. Apparently the employee was too lazy to wait until the oil drained. It just tasted like old rapeseed oil. Had ordered several menus and asked about our dips such as ketchup or MAYO. he wanted extra money for it. I showed him that these were included and he literally threw them at me.

The restaurant has a good smell of food right when you enter 😋. When ordering food, the seller did not understand a word of English and had to use other customers as interpreters. But the food was very good. Menu 1. Half a grilled chicken + a big pile of french fries + salad and plenty of bread. All this for €10.90. Easily enough for two people. It was cheap. Of course, the waiting time for the food was 20 minutes, but it was worth it. If you are in Spandau, don't miss this place. (Old town).

Just ordered the wings by Uber eats and it's terrible!!!! Total disaster. Photos shows deep fried chicken, but when i ordered it it is literally tastless !! I think if everyone is honest then they know exactly that CITY CHICKEN has the best half chicken from Berlin. Then there's the fact that they could just open up almost anywhere and then opened a branch in Spandau! I've been a customer there since day one and enjoy it. Before that, I always made a special trip to Neukölln. Whether on site or to take away, I was never disappointed in terms of taste. The guys who work there are all very nice and attentive. Whether with family or friends, there is enough space for everyone and in my opinion many people from Spandau have not yet discovered it! I always eat the chicken special!

We ordered there via liferando and didn't get what was ordered, plus everything arrived really cold and mushy, even though the food was there for about 40 minutes and didn't take 80 minutes

The food is average to very good, the bread in particular is worth trying. Service was very unfriendly, you were ignored and had to wait longer than average for your food. Don't do this to yourself and rather order directly via UberEats (they also have discount offers).

Unfortunately I am very disappointed with the restaurant. It started when I ordered something to eat. And after picking up my order I had to realize that I had to pay extra for sauces such as spicy or I only got a bread if I also wanted a bread, which is not usual for city send the prices to me called. I wasn't made aware that I had to pay extra for almost everything except salt. I feel really ripped off, cheated, it's sneaky. He could have made me aware that if I wanted additional items, there would be additional costs. I would then have taken something else. After I pointed out to him that it wasn't okay, he offered to pay for it and I told him that I wouldn't have bought it in the first place. Then he said he could pack it for me too. I can eat at home. That was not only cheeky, but also arrogant, unfriendly and disrespectful. I definitely don't advise anyone to eat there because we support people who cheat or rip other people out of their money. Don't allow something like that to get ripped off and sent to the city. If you want to be correct, then please first make every single customer aware that you want money for every single piece of shit, that's correct.

Yesterday we ordered via Ubereats and took 2 x the 2 for 1 offer for chicken menu and 2 x the 2 for 1 for chicken bites and of course only one of each was delivered. After calling several times, no one answered the phone and of course no calls were returned. The quality of the food was good and really tasty, the delivery time was around 80 minutes and the driver had made a stopover and the food was therefore already quite cold. Very annoying because we had to share what little food we had.

The chicken here is amazing! Crispy skin, tender meat – simply perfect. The kids always look forward to the chicken burger! Super friendly staff and fastest service. I'd love to come back!

Heard of this place and excitedly went there from East Berlin only to be disappointed. The chicken was salty af. I think they accidentally added twice the amount of salt. The Salat was nothing but chopped beetroot. We had to remind the servers to give us hummus and ketchup because they had forgotten. There was no fresh pita, they gave us a cold tortilla like the ones you get from supermarket. Overall it was a disappointing experience.

Clean restaurant with good food, friendly staff, toilet needs some maintenance, otherwise no complaints, gladly again.

It's simply outrageous that you have to pay €1.20 for ketchup and mayo on a menu that includes fries! Charging €2.50 for a small bottle of still water from a Turkish brand (not premium water) is also not appropriate. Furthermore, you cannot see how the chicken is prepared. It is prepared in the cellar. Not like in the original branch in Neukölln where you can see how the chicken is prepared. No hygiene measures are preferred and gloves are not worn. Some customers were actually not charged for the ketchup, which is very unfair since every customer should be treated equally. I do not recommend this “restaurant” to you. Too much chicken, too little beef. Tried half a chicken there. When I opened the bag, half the chicken screamed “wallah tastes like the finest habibi!” Where I come from, the chickens cluck here in Spandau and they speak Arabic. Takes getting used to but pleasant. First I peeled off the crispy skin from the cheeky chicken. Otherwise everything was fine. Gladly again!

I ordered the 2 for 1 chicken burger on Uber eats. The burger was small, I can’t imagine to pay full price. On one of the burgers there was nearly any chicken filet inside. It’s ok to go there if you get a deal but for the full price I wouldn’t go eat there. The people in the shop were very nice.

Yesterday I was with my mother at City Chicken in Spandau. When we came in the gentleman immediately shouted: "no breakfast!" It was 10 o'clock... This is how our “welcome” began. I answered him that I didn't want breakfast but was looking at the board. When we then ordered because he had literally pushed us as if he was under time pressure, we then communicated our order after 5 seconds of thinking. He was extremely unfriendly. No "thank you", no "please" When we picked up our food, I looked for cutlery. There weren't even forks. He also didn't bother to ask if I was looking for or needed anything. Even though he was standing next to it. Afterwards I asked him if we could have ketchup for the fries. And he replied “Extra ketchup!”. Just by the way, when I say menu I mean a drink with it and not paying for everything individually. The prices were "adjusted" for Spandau to be different than in the branches in Neukölln. €2.50 for lukewarm Sprite doesn't have to be. This all happened on February 22, 2024 between 10 and 11 a.m. It was an older gentleman. At the end there was no “bye” or anything. This restaurant was completely empty. Which doesn't surprise me either. With such “service” This restaurant doesn't deserve a star, but rather that stars are deducted. NEVER AGAIN!

My mother and I were in the branch in Spandau for the first time today and I have to say that I personally will only go to the branch in Spandau in the future. In Spandau, in contrast to Sonnenallee, it is quieter and not quite as hectic, which is much more pleasant for quieter people like me. The chicken (including all side dishes) was, as usual from the branch on Sonnenallee, first class and tasted great. The way the food was presented on the plates also looked very beautiful and appetizing. You could definitely tell that love was put into the preparation. The employees were very friendly and overall there was a good, relaxed atmosphere in the store. I will definitely come by again! :)

Ich hatte mich über das Schwarztee beschwert weil es einfach nur beutel tee ist. Ich wurde mit rechtlichen schritten bedroht und dieser lafen war mit den 3 Sternen unzufrieden. Nun um erlich zu sein war das ein gut gemeinter Kritik. Aber wenn so dann sag ich nun meine erliche Meinung. Das essen ist viel zu fettig gewesen und das Chicken hatte noch Haare und Haut und Feder. Das Fleisch ist minderwertig bearbeitet und ich werde meine Bewertung ändern wenn dieser Laden seine speisen verbessert. Zum Service: die Mitarbeiter sind bemüht zu helfen aber können kein deutsch und außerdem sind die Tische immer schmutzig und ich muss den Tisch immer selber sauber machen :( Ambiente: es ist sehr laut und die Betreiber wissen wohl nicht wie man Schallbrecher anbringt. Es schallt sehr laut Besteck Geräusche und Kinder die rum brüllen :( Für mich war das ganz und garnicht schön

Temperature of the food is relatively colder than in fast food restaurants, some things are not so clear, including whether ketchup or mayonnaise are free or not.. some behind the counter apparently do not understand the German order when asked . Harder someone answers.. with corn on the cob there is only butter no salt.

The experience overall was disappointing. The prices are not in proportion to the quality. Then it's better to go to the BurgerZimmer opposite. An improved atmosphere could be created by friendlier service. The obviously fake reviews raise questions about honesty, which unfortunately seems to be a trend among foreign fast food chains. All in all, not a recommendation.
