I ordered food through Uber Eats. The big box of fries that I ordered weren't delivered. After submitting a problem on the app, I was informed it isn't enough for a refund. I'm disappointed.

I loved the old place where I could buy and enjoy roasted chicken with my child. Yesterday morning I was in their shop and had an encounter with the man behind the till which left a very bad taste in my mouth. The man (with a bald spot and comb over) called my order and as I was looking for my receipt he got more aggressive. There was almost no one in the shop so that’s weird that he is impatient when there is only 3 people in the shop. I am a Black woman and I don’t know if that factors in to the rude behaviour but it felt like it did. I will never buy from here again. Why be aggressive if you are working with the public?

The Chicken Special was €8.40. The flavor was noticeably less than last year. There was hardly any garlic sauce, and some of the chicken was dry and small. You don't even get a box for takeout; it's just rolled up in aluminum foil. The special bread was black.

Some employees were friendly some were not the food was not fresh the bread did not taste good the meat was wet inside as if it was sweating the only good thing was that the seats were comfortable otherwise it would only be one star not recommended

But since Syrians started working there, things have changed: They behave really rudely and approach every woman. The special sauce wasn't my thing at all but that's a matter of taste. Fries were great and so was the sour red cabbage, but the salad had no dressing and was pretty bland. Garlic sauce was okay. The gentleman who placed the order kindly offered a sauce instead of hummus because I don't like hummus... But then I got some (and no sauce). The bread flatbreads are pretty tasteless and unfortunately they are usually just thrown away. In general, it's not particularly sustainable with Styrofoam bowls and disposable cutlery even if you eat there. Cleanliness in the restaurant could have been better. All in all, it's okay and it's a portion to fill you up, but you don't necessarily have to do it now.

Unfortunately, my experience at CITYCHICKEN was disappointing. I noticed unfriendly treatment from the staff who were not polite at all. It was particularly disturbing when I heard an employee say: “What bad customers”. The French fries were soft and lacked any crunch. As I started eating, I noticed the meat was completely bland, it had no flavor at all. Despite being very hungry, I couldn’t eat much of it. I had a few bites, but I ended up leaving most of the food behind. The experience was disappointing from start to finish. Definitely not recommended, and don’t be fooled by the positive reviews!
