Korean cuisine in Hanover at fair prices. I was thrilled. The spiciness is adjusted, but it tastes just great! To do this, look at the Lister Meile, thumbs up!

If you want to try Korean food, you've come to the right place! You can taste that the food is made with love, a new pleasure every time you eat it. In addition, the service is super nice and sincere - a real heartfelt recommendation ☺️

This is just a recommendation that will not stop me from visiting your excellent restaurant again due to the excellent food and service as well as the very pleasant and hospitable staff. However, a powerful air purifier to provide fresh air indoors would be really fantastic. Thank you very much!

Authentic food at Chois! We made reservations in advance because it gets really crowded when opening hours begin. As a starter we tried the fried gun mandu and a small portion of Korean fried chicken with sweet chili sauce. Both were really tasty and a great start. For the main course we ordered the vegan Mandu Hot Pot for two people. The taste was excellent and the portion was absolutely sufficient. There was also a selection of traditional side dishes: kimchi, radish, water spinach and two bowls of rice, perfectly matched to the hot pot. The service is attentive and very accommodating. We were escorted straight to the table, the water was poured and we were regularly asked whether everything was to our satisfaction. We found it particularly nice that most of the employees speak Korean. The ambience at the back of the restaurant is a little darker, but cozy and appropriately designed. There are coat hooks for jackets, which is practical. The toilets are clean, but only accessible via a few steps.

The waitress is so friendly,and the food is come in a huge portion and taste like heaven. I only order the korean chicken and Tofu seafood ❤️

Nice and attentive staff are highly motivated and describe the food on the menu very well. Even if there is sometimes a problem with the language, so many things can be done with hand and foot and other gestures and what matters today in our eyes is hospitality and that is very important here! We'll be back soon but we'll be happy to sit in the front seating area! Many thanks to all employees!

Always happy, unfortunately we don't go to Hanover that often. Super tasty Korean food, friendly and fast service, casual atmosphere, diverse clientele. A relaxed atmosphere.

I liked that the food was clean and not too sweet. There is a lot of seafood soft tofu and you can adjust the spiciness. I enjoyed it so much because you paid attention to every single thing. When I asked for grilled meat, they cooked it in the kitchen and it came out warm. They also brought me more ssam and ssamjang right away, so I enjoyed my meal. However, the seasoned chicken pieces were not good because the fried food and meat were sticky and it looked like it was soaked in oil.

Were there several times, sometimes as a couple or as a group. We tried hotpots, barbecue and bibimbap. It was all very tasty. A little more expensive than an everyday visit to the Asian restaurant, but you also get special dishes. A visit is recommended. You can treat yourself to that.

Really cool shop, we had the fried chicken and the pork belly/duck BBQ. Everything was delicious and fantastic service.

Lovers of Korean cuisine will get their money's worth. We ate simple things like kimchi jon and bibimbap. It was extremely tasty! Small bowls of appetizers such as kimchi, pickled cucumbers, etc. were served. We'll be back!

The staff took my order quickly and were friendly. The meat, which was the main menu, was delicious, and the side dishes that came with the meat menu were also delicious. It was a bit crowded so it would be better to make a reservation during peak times.

We easily reserved a table for 4 people online. Friendly service and really delicious food. You can prepare a BBQ or eat a delicious hot pot right at the table. Be sure to order Korean Chicken as an appetizer! We'd love to come back

Great food! The Korean Chicken is great! The service is always nice and friendly. It's just not cheap. But the food is definitely worth the price! We have been there again for a long time and this time with our daughter (1 year). But that worked wonderfully. There are high chairs and there would also have been children's cutlery for slightly older children. Really beautiful and everyone was super nice to our little one. So it's really great if you want to eat out as a family.

If you prefer authentic Korean cuisine and always friendly, courteous service, you can't go wrong with Chois! The menu is extensive and the prices are completely reasonable! Even when things are stressful and the store is full of guests, you always get a friendly greeting and a smile. The food always comes surprisingly quickly, no matter how full it is! Service is in the staff’s blood! My girlfriend and I always enjoy coming back!

The BBQ was really great and all the starters tasted excellent. We also tried the Korean Fried Chicken and that was also delicious. It was really warm the day we were there and there were no fans moving after us so it was really hot. However, that wasn't a big problem. The service was top, with good value for money. Always my pleasure!

The food was delicious and grilling it yourself was a lot of fun and a nice experience. Of course, you can also have the food brought to you ready-grilled. The service staff were super friendly and nice. It was a bit warm, better ventilation or air conditioning would be great. With our own grill on the table, it got even warmer, but that's part of it. There is a small menu. We had the dumplings fried and steamed as well as glass noodles as a starter. Easy and good. A special feature is that you can fry your own food at the table. We had 2 x 200 g entrecōte, once with garlic and once with soy sauce, as well as belly slices. There are small bowls with side dishes, rice and sauce. The meat was delicious. It's called Korean BBQ. We enjoyed the boneless chicken thighs once with chili and once with garlic. The crispy chicken was a bit too dry for me personally (but that's a matter of taste 😉) The Korean cheesecake was something different than an ordinary cheesecake. (See video) Recommendation is to reserve a table as it is a small restaurant. Saturdays at 6 p.m., very well attended. Staff was friendly and helpful. Conclusion: Gladly again

It was our first time at Chois and we really liked it. We had the various BBQs and it was a nice and sociable way to eat. The meat was of good quality and the service always made sure everything worked. The many small side dishes give the whole thing variety. The starters were also really good. There are some dishes for vegetarians but unfortunately not the BBQ. The price-performance ratio is completely ok. We would like to come back and maybe test the hotpot.

The food was so delicious that we went there two days in a row. The taste is authentic Korean cuisine with fresh ingredients. I haven't eaten better in South Korea. In particular, the Dolsot Bibimbap with beef and the Korean chicken in spicy sauce were very tasty! Since the restaurant seems to be very popular, a reservation for the evening is recommended.

Inviting Koranic restaurant with a diverse selection of dishes. A friendly welcome with accompaniment to the table paved the way for the visit. We had previously decided to eat hotpot for two people and our wish was fulfilled because the desired dish could be changed into a vegan version. The guest's needs were addressed empathetically and transparently. As you can see from the pictures, we started with the pancake, which was pre-cut into bite-sized pieces and therefore great for sharing. Soon the hotpot, as well as rice and various side dishes such as kimchi, radish and cucumber (all pickled - the desired level of spiciness is asked when ordering) were on the table. So there wasn't a long wait and despite a quiet meal and a visit to the toilet, we left the restaurant after less than an hour. So if you're looking for a nice Korean restaurant, you've come to the right place.

Unfortunately, there were almost no vegetarian, let alone vegan, options, even if other reviews say otherwise. Otherwise the food was quite good. In summer it is very warm, there is no outside area.

I visited Choi's Restaurant on Friday, 05/08/2022, around 12:30 for the first time. Staff members are very friendly, place is clean and food is served very quickly. Korean Fried Chicken with sweet chili sauce was very nice (Large = 8 Pieces, can't remember how many pieces are in the small portion). (❤👍) Kimchi was also beautifully served and delicious.(❤👍) I can also recommend Bulgogi, if you like beef. (❤👍) Soju (plum) bottle of 360ml was 12EUR, which I believe is overpriced and very expensive, compared to a glas of normal German beer, which is less than 5EUR. Soju "shot price", as shown in my uploaded photo is 2.90 EUR (😲). I personally buy soju bottles in mass for 3.90 EUR/per bottle, and that wihout any bargain. I am not Korean but I personally would strongly recommend the restaurant to sell bottles for around 5€ each (if not less). Why? Because Soju is a KOREAN DRINK !. You MUST introduce and advertise your own drink in Germany, at affordable and reasonable prices. If I can buy mass soju (10-15 bottles) bottles for 3.90~4 EUR per bottle, I am sure restaurants can mass buy them for much lower prices. Soju, as far as I know, is affordable and drinkable by anybody in South Korea, regardless of their income. It shouldn't be sold overly expensive here in Germany. Hope you take my advice and apply. The food and the staff at Chois are just amazing. We can only recommend Chois to everyone. We'll definitely be back soon. The only thing that would be nicer would be if the restaurant was on the ground floor and you could sit outside. Thank you for the great experience with Korean cuisine.

The location could be cooler, the owners have tried to get the best out of it. The toilets were clean. I can eat with chopsticks... I thought... but the stainless steel version was a new challenge for us that we were happy to accept (and apologize for all the spills🙈). The staff was always attentive and super friendly. A very tasty and eventful evening. I would like to explain my 4 stars. The 4 stars take into account my very high expectations due to the many very good ratings (4.7) out of over 1,000 reviews. Service: A1, very friendly, accommodating. Although we had several employees, they were all very professional and asked about their well-being several times. All dishes were well described. Ambiance: Very appropriate, just a few pictures on the wall but I didn't understand them and somehow they don't fit my Korean imagination. I would expect these in a vegan restaurant in Berlin. Eat: Korean Fried Chicken: tender, crispy, radish goes well. Not really spicy. The whistle is missing. Maybe fresh chillies? Spring onions? Dumplings: solid and tasty, a bit boring Hot Pot: decent portion, tender meat, slightly spicy, but somehow still not that intense in taste Korean BBQ: I really liked it, great mushrooms, great, tender meat. Many, disappearing supplements. All very tasty. Cheesecake: very tasty, many different flavors (sweet, sour, fluffy, fruity) on the plate. Somewhat small portions.

Chois restaurant I visited during my business trip to Germany. The food tastes better than Korean restaurants in other countries. It's just like what I ate in Korea. Pork belly can be grilled directly or served grilled. Kimchi stew and soft tofu are also tastes like those eaten in Korea. We ate 5 servings of pork belly, kimchi stew, soft tofu stew, soybean paste stew, and two beers for 199 euros for 5 people. I highly recommend it if you miss Korean food while traveling or on a business trip. Please make a reservation except in summer. Almost all of the 25 to 30 tables were reserved.

Rarely eaten so well. The Korean Fried Chicken - no matter the variation - is out of this world. The hotpot is so incredibly aromatic, well filled and extremely tasty. The side dishes, especially the kimchi, are just too good. The BBQ (both duck and steak) is also tasty and just to be enjoyed. The service also deserves special praise. Super attentive and friendly! Great for date nights. We will definitely be regulars :-)

We had a hot pot with dumplings, which we really enjoyed. You can also determine the level of spiciness yourself. There were also delicious pickled all sorts of things, which really rounded off the taste. The broth is very full-bodied. The food comes very quickly. The interior is rather simple and plain, but that is of secondary importance when it comes to the food. You definitely have to make a reservation because the restaurant is very busy. Very attentive and hard-working service. Gladly again, big recommendation!

We went to Chois for our anniversary in early April because we had our first date here and really enjoy Korean food. The food is delicious as always. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. We were given a bottle of champagne for our anniversary. Despite the longer journey, we would like to come back :)

The only Korean restaurant in Hanover. Loving and very attentive service. The food is authentic, everything is prepared by the chefs using their own recipes. I recommend the Korean BBQ or the hot pot.
