The food is really delicious, served fresh and hot. The ambience isn't exactly the nicest, but the rest was fine.

The food was really delicious. Although a little more expensive, it was worth it. We had the pancake with kimchi, a hotpot with tofu and bibimbap with beef.

Very young, motivated team, served us friendly and quickly. The Korean BBQ with pork belly is highly recommended. Spicy pickled and surprisingly low in fat. For dessert we had the Korean cake, very fluffy, sweet and delicious.

It was our first time at Chois and it was great, like a little Korean vacation for the stomach. The service was very friendly and accommodating and the vegetarian food was excellent. We had gun mandu (fried dumplings) and kimchi dschon (pancakes) as starters and bibimbap and mandu hot pot with tofu as main courses. We definitely want to come back!

Super nice service and the food was absolutely worth the money. It's just really loud when you sit in the first room.

Food is delicious and service is good However, reservation is required to use it. Perhaps due to ingredient supply issues, the taste of kimchi is slightly different from regular home-cooked kimchi. Although it is not on the menu, you can order soju and ramen noodles.

This is Korean food you can try in Hanover. I ate kimchi stew and it tasted just like I always eat. It's a bit expensive, but considering German prices, I think it's okay. I also have soju, but I can't seem to get enough of it. I'm eating well.

For a vegan or vegetarian unfortunately not to recommend. The food selection is little and the food had only light flavours not like in South Korea. The prices on the other hand are super high and not understandable in flavour, quality or amount of food. The service was really kind and friendly.

Nice service. Beef soup was solid but nothing special. The main course was ordered extra spicy and arrived that way and was delicious with interesting flavors. Dessert, cheese tart, was delicious and very nicely presented. Generally the dishes used are atmospheric! A clear recommendation! Addendum: at the end there was a gift of Korean sweets for Christmas!

It can be hard to find good vegetarian options in Hannover but Choi's was so good! I tried the vegan bibimbap and it came with fresh veggies and a spicy sauce. Highly recommended.

I ate BBQ, it's fine. Kimchi and chicken with sweet chili sour are delicious. There is a high chair for children, everyone here is nice and willing to help. Satisfied 👍

As soon as I came to Hanover, I was looking for a Korean restaurant for the first time. The soft tofu and side dishes were all delicious. I can feel the taste of Gyeongsang-do. I also had a glass of draft beer, but I thought I was full. I like the friendly, clean, and warm atmosphere.

I have been there several times and will come back many more times. The service is simply great there. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I can absolutely recommend the hot pot. Super tender meat with delicious vegetables and pickled side dishes. The Korean BBQ is also very good, but I liked the hot pot more. I can definitely recommend the fried chicken as a starter. It's super crispy and the sauces that go with it are addictive. Absolutely no comparison to other fried chicken restaurants. At Chois, the chicken is simply a level higher. The hectic pace could probably be a negative for some. The service is fast and you can feel that. In addition, it is impossible to get a seat without a table reservation. If you can handle both points well, it's a really great experience.

Very good restaurant where i could find a lot of Korean dishes that I could not in another city! It looks authentic ! What im disappointed, it's the dessert, there are not many proposition unfortunately 😔 but I would go back to try other dishes ! Don't miss on the Korean Pancake (Kimchi Pajeon)

It was my first time at Chois, everything from starter to dessert was delicious. The Korean BBQ is highly recommended; if you wish, the grill can be placed on the table and you can do the cooking yourself. The service is very competent and attentive, and always very friendly!

A culinary experience – absolutely recommended! A beautiful ambience and a huge selection of delicacies that make your mouth water just by looking at them! The portions are large, the prices are unbeatable and there really is something for every taste. The staff is super friendly and creates a warm atmosphere. No wonder it's always full here - if you've been there once, you're guaranteed to come back! It's best to reserve a table in the evening in advance so that you don't miss out on this tasty highlight. It was so delicious that I visited two days in a row. It was nice to be able to go with several friends and order a variety of food. All menu items were delicious, but I enjoyed the seafood pancake the best. I’ve never had such wonderful Korean food even in Korea… . I would like to visit again if it fits my schedule.

Thank God we booked a table in advance. At 8:00 p.m. in the evening the restaurant was fully booked. Our table was in the back room, which is not particularly furnished and is rather bare and neutral. The operation worked very well. Very friendly and always helpful. We opted for the BBQ, which we really enjoyed. Other guests had also taken this, which led to a very high level of odor. In the meantime the window had to be opened again and again, which wasn't so pleasant in winter because we were sitting next to it. One thing you definitely need to know: all clothing must be washed and showering is mandatory. Nevertheless, it is recommended. There are no dedicated parking spaces. You have to be lucky on the side streets.

The food is incredibly delicious. The service is really very good. There were 13 of us and we didn't have to wait long to be served. Everyone is super nice! The menu was expanded to include vegan options, which we also really enjoyed😊

I love this place, the food is delicious and it's just really cozy overall! On the 26th of December they had the special Christmas menu which we somehow missed when we booked, so it ended up being a several-course meal which was more expensive than our usual orders, but still absolutely worth the price because the food was great. We also got a Christmas present at the end: a bag with Korean sweets to take home which was really cute. Definitely recommend this place!

We were there at Christmas and had a wonderful evening! As always, the waiters were very attentive and the food was absolutely delicious. For 4 courses and a small, tasty introduction, the price is absolutely fair; the two of us paid €90 with drinks. Gladly again and again!

Christmas dinner at Chois. The dish was consistently successful, the food was served at the table with a detailed explanation and the main course was even fried live at the table. The service shined with a confident and very friendly demeanor as well as very fast and good service. If I could I would give 6 stars. I can highly recommend this restaurant. Reservations are definitely required on public holidays.

We had a really delicious meal. From the crispy Korean chicken to the black sesame ice cream for dessert - everything was delicious. The service was courteous and friendly. Plus a great view of the Lister Meile. We'll be back.

The food is delicious, the price is average, and it's very popular. It's hard to get a seat without a reservation. The only regret is that there was a strong smell of barbecue on my clothes after I got home, so I had to change my clothes.

We went here for dinner with the team after work. I've been there 2-3 times with friends for Korean BBQ. First of all: The ambience doesn't blow me away. BUT: The service is really excellent - attentive and friendly, always keeping an eye on you. The food was excellent - whether it was the bibimbap, the barbecue with entrecôte or shrimp, ... we had a total of 7 different dishes and everything was really tasty. We'll be back - and if you like Korean or want to try it, you should too.

Everything is really great! Especially the food! I can recommend it 100%. Small point deduction because the clothes smell like food after visiting the restaurant.

The service has improved significantly. The supplements for KBBQ are now delivered more quickly. Each guest now also receives a small bowl of rice.

Authentic food at Chois! We made reservations in advance because it gets really crowded when opening hours begin. As a starter we tried the fried gun mandu and a small portion of Korean fried chicken with sweet chili sauce. Both were really tasty and a great start. For the main course we ordered the vegan Mandu Hot Pot for two people. The taste was excellent and the portion was absolutely sufficient. There was also a selection of traditional side dishes: kimchi, radish, water spinach and two bowls of rice, perfectly matched to the hot pot. The service is attentive and very accommodating. We were escorted straight to the table, the water was poured and we were regularly asked whether everything was to our satisfaction. We found it particularly nice that most of the employees speak Korean. The ambience at the back of the restaurant is a little darker, but cozy and appropriately designed. There are coat hooks for jackets, which is practical. The toilets are clean, but only accessible via a few steps.

The waitress is so friendly,and the food is come in a huge portion and taste like heaven. I only order the korean chicken and Tofu seafood ❤️

Nice and attentive staff are highly motivated and describe the food on the menu very well. Even if there is sometimes a problem with the language, so many things can be done with hand and foot and other gestures and what matters today in our eyes is hospitality and that is very important here! I liked that the food was clean and not too sweet. There is a lot of seafood soft tofu and you can adjust the spiciness. I enjoyed it so much because you paid attention to every single thing. When I asked for grilled meat, they cooked it in the kitchen and it came out warm. They also brought me more ssam and ssamjang right away, so I enjoyed my meal. However, the seasoned chicken pieces were not good because the fried food and meat were sticky and it looked like it was soaked in oil.
