Choclet in Ulm

Wir waren neulich im choclet in Ulm und ich bin echt begeistert! 😍 Die Location ist super gemütlich und stylisch eingerichtet – man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Ich habe mir einen Cocktail bestellt und der war einfach der Hammer! 🍹🔥 Richtig gut gemixt, super lecker und total frisch. Der Service war auch mega lieb, aufmerksam und schnell. Wer in Ulm mal ein bisschen die Seele baumeln lassen will, muss hier unbedingt vorbei. Ich komme definitiv wieder! 🙌✨

Wir kamen um 2 Minuten vor Feierabend, wurden trotzdem freundlichst begrüßt und bedient. Auch nach Mitternacht, obwohl offiziell schon geschlossen war, hatten wir nicht das Gefühl, dass wir nicht mehr erwünscht sind. Ganz nebenbei waren die Cocktails auch noch wirklich gut. Ein tolles Erlebnis wir kommen gerne wieder.

Alles ist ausgezeichnet, alles ist sehr gut.

„Leider eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung. Wir haben über eine Stunde gewartet und konnten in der ganzen Zeit nicht einmal bestellen, weil niemand zu unserem Tisch gekommen ist. Die schmutzigen Teller wurden ebenfalls nicht abgeräumt und der Service war insgesamt sehr unaufmerksam. So fühlt man sich als Gast leider nicht willkommen. Würde ich nicht weiterempfehlen.😏

Nettes Café, welches sich zentral in der Nähe vom Rathaus befindet. Das Frühstück war lecker und sehr gut von der Portion. Es gibt auch eine große Terrasse zum raus sitzen. Einziges Manko war die lange Wartezeit, sowohl vom Essen als auch beim 2. Getränk.

Nettes Personal, die Portionen vom Frühstück sind groß genug, das einzige was mich gestört hat, war dass das Personal bei der ersten Bestellung flott war aber beim Nachbestellen darauf aufmerksam gemacht werden musste.

Die Damen-Toilette war leider sehr schmutzig und insgesamt unhygienisch – schon fast ekelerregend. Zudem lag der Seifenspender einfach auf der Waschbeckenablage, anstatt ordnungsgemäß montiert zu sein. Das wirkt ungepflegt und wenig durchdacht. Essen und Service sowie Personal war gut.

Das beste Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis in Ulm was Burger angeht wenn man dort montags isst. Für 10,90 € bekommt man dort einen der leckersten Burger in ganz Ulm mit dem Texas Burger. Vegane Burger sind an dem Tag sogar noch 1 € günstiger. Außerdem gibt es dort von 11:30 Uhr bis 15 Uhr auch Kuchen vergünstigt für 2,50 € was ein super Preis ist finde ich. Der käsekuchen mit erdbeersoße ist echt mega lecker und lohnt sich deshalb allemal. Die anderen Kuchen habe ich noch nicht probiert. Was ich auch positiv hervorheben möchte ist dass man für 50 Cent sich ein leitungswasser geben lassen kann was ja auch nicht in jeden Restaurant Standard ist.

Wir haben heute hier mit ein paar Rollstuhlfahrern gefrühstückt und alle Mitarbeiter in dem Restaurant waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Und das Essen war sehr lecker 😋

Sehr gemütlich und das Essen ist köstlich!

Wir haben vor über einem Monat für Neujahr reserviert. Vom Mitarbeiter wurde uns nach 3 Rückfragen für 13 Uhr ein Tisch reserviert. Nun standen wir vor verschlossener Tür, weil der Laden erst um 15 Uhr öffnet. Keinerlei Info dazu - nichts - Wir durften nochmal kommen und haben einen Gutschein bekommen. Also danke für das gute Entgegenkommen. :)

Ambiente war wirklich top, ein schönes Café. Aber der Service lässt wirklich zu wünschen übrig. Bedienungen waren unfreundlich und maßlos überfordert. Wir durften fast 30 Minuten warten bis überhaupt mal jemand an unseren Tisch kam. Als wir rein sind haben sich alle 5 Bedienungen umgedreht und NIEMAND hat gegrüßt. Dann mussten wir 30 Minuten warten bis überhaupt mal jemand kam. Nachdem die unsere Bestellung gebracht haben, wurden wir wieder weg ignoriert. Also wirklich verdammt grottig schlechter Service der wirklich keine Lust hat zu arbeiten oder etwas zu verkaufen.

Klasse Laden. Perfekt zum Frühstück oder snacken oder einfach nen leckeren Cappuccino. Sehr freundliches und cooles Personal und angemessene Preise. Alles ist lecker und liebevoll zubereitet.

Ich hatte das englische Frühstück und es war gut. Ein paar Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten: Tomaten und Käse – kalt kleben sie nicht mehr zusammen, und die gekochte Tomate allein ist etwas fad; etwas mehr Toast wäre toll für die Marmelade und die Tomatensoße. Die Getränke waren gut und die Tees von hoher Qualität.

Ich wollte nur einen choclet burger und der Burger war so schlecht und zusammen gematscht die Soße überall und dann bekam ich durfall und erbrach mich also ich würde es dort nicht empfehlen vertraut mi

Das Essen ist ganz gut aber nichts weltbewegendes und der Preis ist normaler Durchschnitt. Kellner/innen sind alle sehr nett und sympathisch. Der Innenraum ist zwar schön, aber an sich sehr eng alles und bissle wenig Platz. Am Wochenende sind aber irgendwie immer miese Chayas dort am Start und es wird dann zur Tinderbar. Bruder da ist wirklich gefühlt niemand zum essen oder trinken da, sondern alle auf der Jagd nach Blicken 👀 Wollte eigentlich 3 Sterne geben, aber wegen den ganzen Perlen dort jedesmal gebe ich 4 Sterne.Deswegen komme ich auch gerne nochmal. Klare Empfehlung für alle singles 👍🏽

Sehr Abwechslungsreich und sehr viel Auswahl. Top Location in Ulm wenn man etwas essen möchte, zu Cafe und Kuchen, oder einfach nur mit Freunden etwas trinken zu gehen. Weiter so !

Enttäuschend. :( Wir mussten hungrig und frierend wieder nach Hause gehen. Ich wollte heute noch Sport machen - woher soll ich jetzt die Energie dafür nehmen??!

Wir haben einen Monat im Voraus für Neujahr einen Tisch reserviert und uns wurde nicht mitgeteilt, dass an Neujahr Choclet erst nachmittags öffnet. Dementsprechend standen wir an Neujahr vor verschlossenen Türen und das, nachdem wir telefonisch reserviert hatten und es mehrmals von dem Mitarbeiter abgeklärt wurde, dass sie zum Zeitpunkt der Reservierung geöffnet haben.

Die Gerichte sind lecker und schön angerichtet, und die Atmosphäre lädt zum Entspannen ein. Besonders die Schokoladenauswahl hat mir gefallen, und die Desserts sind wirklich gut. Einziger kleiner Wermutstropfen: Die Wartezeit war etwas länger als erwartet.

Das Choclet hat leider gute und schlechte Tagen. Gerade die Mitarbeiter sind teilweise sehr freundlich, andere super unfreundlich. Was auch nervt: Kartenzahlung ist Glücksache: auf jeden Fall Bargeld mitnehmen.

Wir waren zunächst ganz normal zum Essen dort und haben anschließend höflich gefragt, ob man in diesem Restaurant eventuell einen Geburtstag feiern könnte. Die erste Auskunft war sehr positiv – uns wurde gesagt, dass das kein Problem sei. Als wir dann jedoch wieder gehen wollten, wurden wir plötzlich vom Personal darauf hingewiesen, dass so etwas nicht erlaubt sei und dass es dem Chef nicht gefallen habe. Kurz darauf wurden wir sogar hinausgeschickt. Dieses widersprüchliche Verhalten und die Art, wie mit uns umgegangen wurde, fanden wir sehr enttäuschend. Ein klarer und respektvoller Umgang mit Gästen wäre hier wirklich wünschenswert Man hat zu uns gesagt sowas ist möglich finde ich sehr enttäuschend

Hallo Essen war sehr lecker wollte für eine bekantin Überraschung machen habe davor angerufen und habe gesagt das ich mit einer Torte auftauchen werde und eine Überraschung machen wollte sie haben geht klar gemeint und Vorort wurde gemeint das den Chef nicht gefallen hat und sie mir kein Messer geben können da es für ihn kein guter verhalten war ich wurde daraufhin raus geschickt und den ganzen Tag von mir und von meinen Gästen versaut find ich garnicht schön

Great restaurant/bar with seating by the Danube. We tried different coffees and hot chocolates. Simply fantastic. The ambiance in the evening with a view of the Danube from the large terrace is outstanding. The waitress was also simply fantastic and super friendly. We'd love to come back here.

Nice service, nice restaurant, often go there to eat

The service is truly top-notch; all the waitresses are incredibly kind and very dedicated. It would be cool if they could add iced coffee and matcha to the menu.

The ambiance is great, but when you're not even greeted as a guest, or are ignored, the mood unfortunately deteriorates. You expect a bit of professionalism, especially from the front of house waiter. A hello/goodbye is perfectly sufficient. It's a shame.

We spontaneously went there for dinner. It was open seating, and at 5:30 p.m. it was still relatively empty. The service was very friendly. The restaurant is very clean and beautifully decorated. The food arrived within 15 minutes. I had the Chocolate Burger and my companion had the Crunchy Chicken Burger. It was really delicious. The sauces on it were amazing. The dips also went very well with the side dishes. All in all, a really good value for money.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A thoroughly successful evening at Choclet Ulm! We were at Choclet in Ulm last night and were absolutely thrilled. The burgers were fresh, juicy, and perfectly prepared, the fries were crispy, and the side salad was colorful, crisp, and delicious. My cheese spaetzle was creamy, cheesy, and just the way you want it, with fried onions on top, simply a dream. The cocktails were also delicious and perfectly mixed. The service was friendly, attentive, and created a relaxed atmosphere. Drinks and food arrived quickly, and the portions were more than generous. A fantastic evening with delicious food, great drinks, and a cozy atmosphere—we'll definitely be back!

Very friendly staff, nice place to sit, highly recommended!

I was there for brunch with my girlfriend today. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. The egg smelled bad when it was served, and the sausage didn't seem fresh either. After the meal, I felt very unwell. Our latte macchiato with ice cubes was served without ice cubes, even though we had specifically requested it and it was clearly explained. The place wasn't busy, but the service was inattentive and slow. Overall, unfortunately, it wasn't a positive experience. For breakfast, I'd recommend Mery's in Ulm or Café Einstein.

Of course, it can happen that the food in a restaurant isn't good, but unfortunately, nothing was perfect here. We'd barely ordered when the food arrived, and unfortunately, it tasted exactly like that: unloving, disappointing in quality, and simply not good in taste. While it wasn't our first visit, it was certainly our last.

The Limoncello Spritz was simply water with ice cubes. Not even tinted yellow. As colorful as water.

We had a wonderful meal on the terrace; it was a really lovely atmosphere right on the Danube. The service took a long time and was slightly unmotivated. I find the fancy dishes, which are labeled "0.0," much worse; they're definitely not for allergy sufferers. For example, the herbs and seeds in the burger bun.

Great food, great drinks, great service, great terrace. Probably will go back again tomorrow. Much better option than other places we saw and with lots of vegetarian options, which was huge for our daughter.

Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The staff is barely present, and you wait forever before you're even noticed—both when ordering and paying. The service seems disorganized and overwhelmed, which unfortunately makes the visit very unpleasant. It's a shame, because the concept and the products actually have potential.

If ambiance were awarded 6 stars, it would apply here as well. Very nice view of the Danube, delicious food, by the way. Also a very tasty breakfast.

I've probably never eaten such a delicious Niçoise salad before. The smoothie and chocolate cake were also delicious. Our waitress was very attentive and super friendly from start to finish. It was extremely hot in Ulm on Saturday, and her first attention after greeting us was our dog, who she immediately offered a bowl of water. If we're ever in your area again, we'll definitely come back. :)

My husband and I arrived 20 minutes before 10:00 PM (you can order food until 10:00 PM). No one served us for 20 minutes. At exactly 10:00 PM, someone came. I would understand if it was busy, but there was no one inside; only the terrace was full.

Cool location. I had a Rhodes salad. Absolutely delicious. Great staff. A bit chaotic at first glance. But organized and focused on the guests.

It's outrageous. They tell us to wait for a seat. Others just sit down. And then they tell us they have to go and find it themselves. Unacceptable! I wouldn't recommend it! What a shame...

Great spot in the city centre. We were here for a breakfast and I can understand if the place is full, there will be some delays and we waited for the food for cca 25 minutes. However the service in general was rather slow, even when there were fewer people. But the food was great, portion was big, brezel was warm and soft, weisswurst great. Also the beverages were nice and stylish. Would definitely come back for the food and drinks, the service should be faster.

One of the favorite breakfast places in Ulm. They have a beautiful terrace where you can eat your breakfast while viewing the Donau. For breakfast they have plenty of choices for everyone to choose. From English style menus to Swabian ones. I can also recommend this place for dinners etc. A cozy place to come enjoy some food.

Been there several times. The food and ambience are good, but the food is not served at the same time. Two people got their burgers 15 minutes before the other two.

In the morning we sat outside almost at the city wall with a view of the Danube. Because we were so early we were able to enjoy the sun and the delicious breakfast in peace.

Danay🥰 is simply the sweetest and dearest employee ever! You immediately feel at home with her - she is incredibly nice, attentive and always has a smile😊 on her face. Unfriendly service. Saturday evening It was packed. Two people at a table for six, apparently already finished, and despite that, we, as customers who had been waiting for 15 minutes, were ignored and insulted by the unfriendly waiter. It's a shame, we loved coming here.

Staff and ambience don't make up for a bad breakfast. We had breakfast for two. It was nicely prepared, but if the fruit, vegetables, sausage and cheese have edges or are dry... that has nothing to do with fresh. The latte only tasted like a water/milk mixture... ...so actually not even 1 star for the food.

Bouf. The food is plentiful, there's a lot of different things on offer depending on the day, the taste is average, only the location and the terrace are a plus, the staff is nice but not particularly competent, the place is absolutely avoidable if you don't get a table with a view of the Danube. But drinking coffee is definitely possible.

I actually come to eat regularly, but after this time I'm really disappointed. The service was terrible. The waiter with slightly longer hair and glasses should not be employed in service. Not only was he super rude and ignorant, but also very hectic and impatient on a busy day. You would normally expect more from such a central and well-known restaurant.

Best breakfast ever! Lovingly prepared, great quality and varied. The menu includes a drink, which more than justifies the price. Service was very friendly and accommodating. What was striking was the great management, everything was stylish and clean. You can change ingredients on the menu, it's easy to accommodate, and great service! Our small dog was also welcome, but with larger ones it might be a bit tight as the tables are already cramped. Reservation would be good!

Wirklich schlecht fand ich den Service dann als folgende Situation sich abspielte: Ein (anderer) Kellner kommt an unseren Tisch und fragt: „Darf ich euch schon abkassieren?" Ich wollte eigentlich nochmal etwas bestellen und meine Freundin hatte ihren Kaffee noch nicht ausgetrunken. Er antwortete mir darauf „Oh man so schlechter Service.“ - Ich zahlte und wir zogen weiter in ein anderes Café mit freundlicherer Bedienung und genauso gutem Kaffee :)
