For us the best Chinese restaurant with buffet in Hanover.

The lunch buffet was a great choice both in terms of price and taste. The beef, in particular, was super tender and delicious 🤤😊 It's also a good idea to take a short walk to the Leinewehr after dinner :)

The buffet first choice. Like it has been for years. A la carte is certainly just as delicious. But the buffet now really offers enough choice and I don't miss anything. Service always friendly and attentive.

Unfortunately, my visit to this restaurant was an extremely disappointing experience. The meat I was served was obviously spoiled and smelled unpleasant. When I pointed this out to the owner, he not only denied responsibility but also became insulting and insulted me in a personal manner. Such behavior towards guests is unacceptable and disrespectful. I can only strongly advise against visiting this restaurant.

Authentic Cantonese cuisine of very good quality. Buffet on certain days, also excellent. Very nice, attentive service staff. Overall, a place to feel good, if you want to experience Asian cuisine authentically and very well, Wang You is exactly the right address. We always enjoy coming here.

My wife and I were in the restaurant at lunchtime. Super friendly service, very tasty lunch menu, great price/performance ratio. We would love to come back and can highly recommend Wang You. (It's just a bit inconvenient with the parking lot)

Very good buffet with a selection where everyone can find something

The heavily advertised New Year's Eve menu for 30€+ drinks sounded promising with a large selection of high-quality dishes, but it turned out to be an extremely overcrowded restaurant with a not so full buffet, bad-tempered staff, especially the ladies!!! It is an absolute no-go to poison your colleagues in front of the guests or to let out your bad mood. Only professionals are allowed to charge €30. Scrape out the leftovers from the buffet and rice without sauce is not worth €5. Clearly: stacked too high but not up to the situation as a professional.

Five of us were there on December 31, 2024. The staff was totally overwhelmed and the buffet was 90% sold out. 30€/pp was not even remotely justified.

A very nice Chinese restaurant on the edge of the Döhren Leine Island. Buffet or a la card is possible. Cheap lunch menu. The friendly service remains calm even in stressful situations. For me it's always a pleasure. The restaurant also has lots of outdoor seating, so it's wonderful in the summer. Only 3 stars for the ambience. Nothing has changed here for a long time.

Good and rich buffet. Some dishes weren't quite hot. When the number of guests is high, the kitchen cannot always keep up. The food itself is delicious.

Was here for dinner for the second time, ordered 12 large portions, everything tasted so delicious and eaten. The best Chinese restaurant in Hanover ever. Everything was so great, friendly service, quiet atmosphere, 5 stars for sure. It's worth coming here to eat.

Really bold. We ordered via Lieferando and waited an hour for our food until our former neighbors called us. The delivery service wanted to deliver to our old address, where we haven't lived for 2 years. So we called the restaurant and they told us there were system problems and they didn't have any contact details (no phone number, no email and no address), but they found an old order in the system where they had once delivered. In the hope that we would still live there, they delivered and we found each other through our former neighbors. Everything was stored correctly in the order confirmation, but we can't be blamed for system errors, we thought, and we even understood that and didn't get upset. The driver then arrived at our address some time later, but with cold and wrong food. We called again... They said there was nothing they could do about it and they didn't know that we had moved and there were system errors and we were welcome to have our order with noodles instead of rice as we wanted We either pick it up or pay €10 for a new delivery. Even though we couldn't do anything about it, we had to pay on top again. We also offered to keep the food for a discount, even though we ordered something else, but they insisted on their solution where we had to pay extra. At some point they hung up because people literally didn't care and there were only the two options. I called again and at some point they said they didn't feel like discussing things and would now deliver the way we wanted. What can I say...We are still waiting (already 1 hour 35 minutes) for the correct delivery and it probably won't come because the restaurant is closed. We feel ripped off and have been blatantly lied to. System errors were admitted, but they were made into our problem and no one cared about it. If you want to be disappointed, this is definitely the right place for you. Addendum: I called a day later and asked why we were told someone would come by again and deliver the correct order but in the end no one came (so we were lied to). Instead of apologizing or something similar, I was yelled at that they didn't have time to make a phone call and that they didn't care. I'm glad I still got my food... A disaster.

The food was ok. Unfortunately, we sometimes had to wait a long time for the freshly cooked things. The buffet was often empty and you had to wait until it was refilled (but not too long). According to other gestures, it is otherwise significantly better. You must have had a very stressful day.

Been there again after a long time. Buffet was always filled and warm. It was very busy, so a table reservation is advisable. Staff were busy, drinks took a little longer, but it was ok. We'd love to come back.

Unfortunately the owner has changed and the store has deteriorated greatly since then. Under the former owner Heer Wang we always felt welcome and were treated kindly. But the current owner shows no appreciation for his guests. I recently went there with my girlfriend to order takeaway. The boss initially wanted to take our order, but then two women came into the store after us. He simply left us standing there and canceled our order without a word to go take care of the other customers. I felt like I was a second class customer. The boss is very unsympathetic and I didn't feel comfortable at all and left immediately without ordering. That was definitely my last visit. We used to come here often, but now I'll look for another restaurant.

A very good tip for eating out in Hanover Doehren

We've been going there for dinner for years when we're in Hanover. Unfortunately, I have to say that the buffet wasn't refilled as often. We were there for almost 2 hours and there wasn't even any more duck because it wasn't refilled. When it came to ice cream 🍦, I found it disgusting that the bowl of water where you put the spoon 🥄 in it doesn't put fresh water in it more often

Regular guest for almost 20 years. The buffet is smaller than in other comparable restaurants, but it is classic, more than sufficiently varied and always tasty. The family atmosphere and good service round off a pleasant visit to the restaurant. Particularly suitable for families and birthday parties. A reservation is recommended at least on weekends.

Today we went to Wang's for the third time for the lunch buffet. Without a reservation you have to be on time if you want a good seat. Lots of older regulars. The buffet is small but nice. Everything is delicious and the food is always warm. The desserts are also good. The service is nice. The only thing we don't like so much is the dark, back room where you have to sit when it's busy. We will be back soon and recommend the restaurant. All the Chinese in the area are significantly worse, especially if you eat from the buffet.

We went to brunch: Enough selection of fresh food and drinks, something for everyone. Essen war sehr gut und der Service auch! Die Teller die nicht mehr gebraucht wurden sind zuügig abgeräumt worden. Vegetarische Optionen gab es auch mehr als genug! Die Stühle sind leider etwas durchgesessen, aber das ändert ja nichts an der Qualität des Essens. War sicherlich nicht mein letzter Besuch!!

Ich kann dieses Restaurant sehr empfehlen. die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich. Wir haben Buffet gegessen und das Essen schmeckte hervorragend. Nachdem ein Essensbehälter leer war dauerte es nicht lange bis neues Essen nachgeliefert wurde. Auch habe ich öfter mir Essen Nachhause liefern lassen. Auch hier lief alles prima und der Fahrer war schnell und freundlich. Klare Empfehlung von mir!

Wir waren bisher Stammkunden, wir werden aber wohl nicht mehr hingehen. Als wir ankamen ist mein Vater leider gestürtzt, die Stufe ist nicht ausreichen gekennzeichnet, ein Handlauf oder Steg wäre da schon angebracht, vorallem da uns das Personal berichtete dort fallen öffter Gäste runter. Wir mussten lange warten bis wir bestellen durften und bis unsere Bestellung dann kam. Es waren Muscheln im Essen obwohl mein Vater extra ohne bestellt hatte. Das Essen schmeckte heute sehr fade und kaum ein kaumenschmaus. Es wirkte alles sehr unruhig und chaotisch. Die Abrechnung hatte es in sich, 47 Euro, es wurden 4 Säfte anstatt 2 abgerechnet. Auf meinen Einwand bekam ich die Antwort wir hätten ja große Gläser gehabt, somit haben wir für 2 x 300ml Saft 14 Euro bezahlt. Leider gibt es von mir hier keine Empfehlung mehr.

Nach Besitzerwechsel ist dieses Restaurant leider nicht mehr zu empfehlen. Früher waren wir sehr gerne hier und haben auch Firmenessen genossen. Heute haben wir es noch einmal versucht, nachdem wir vor 3 Wochen bereits enttäuscht wurden. Das Buffet war ständig leer, obwohl das Lokal nur mäßig Besuch war. Das Essen war kalt und das Personal total Unaufmerksamkeit. Ich denke, wir müssen uns ein neues Lokal suchen

Es gibt Inhaberwechsel. Leider schmecken die Gerichte bzw. das mittagsbüffet seither nicht mehr gut.

Sonntagsbuffet war sehr lecker, hätte etwas mehr an den Auswahlmöglichkeiten geben können aber ich würde behaupten jeder findet etwas das ihm schmeckt. Das Sushi war ebenfalls gut mit richtigem klebenden „Sushireis“ und vegetarische Varianten. Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die scharfe Soße hätte deutlich mehr Feuer haben dürfen aber dafür steht am Tisch Chilli-Tomatenpaste zum nachwürzen, ist wahrscheinlich der empfindlichen deutschen Zunge geschuldet ;) Die Einrichtung ist gemütlich und alles ist sauber. Preislich finde ich es absolut ok, bei all you can eat hat es jeder selber in der Hand ob sich der Besuch finanziell lohnt.
