A few weeks ago we visited this restaurant. The food was a little below average, very normal and greasy, but nothing tasty. The duck's skin wasn't crispy and the other dishes were too salty. The interior is dated but it is clear that it is an old Chinese restaurant. Looks dirty, I think. The service is the worst I have ever experienced! An old Chinese woman was rude when we tried to order food and spent some time choosing, she was not patient at all. Even when my wife (Chinese) spoke to her in Chinese, the lady became more and more impatient. Afterwards we decided not to tip for such poor service. But my wife heard the manager whisper some swear words to us. Never again!

This is an extremely bad Chinese restaurant that can only deceive foreigners. Very bad attitude of waiter In terms of food, the boiled fish didn’t have a few pieces of fish at all and was very fishy. It was obviously a pre-made dish made from the frozen fish bought by Yachao and boiled fish seasoning. The snacks are all the ones bought in supermarkets. I asked in advance if they were handmade. The food at Hong Yuan is amazing. The roast duck is satisfying, the steam pot chicken is also delicious, and the other dishes are also very exquisite. The chef here really has something.

There was an older waitress in black who had a bad attitude and tried to argue with me because I complained about her poor service and wasn't afraid to tell her manager that I had a very bad experience and that Food was stale. Very disappointed with this old restaurant.

Very authentic Chinese restaurant. You feel like you're in China again. The staff speaks Chinese and most of the clientele is Chinese. The Peking duck is like something from Beijing and there is a lot of choice when it comes to eating it. The parking situation is a bit difficult because everything there is very expensive.

The service was not good, the food was served very slowly, and the small pot rice noodles were so bad that I couldn’t eat them! The drinks were not served until we left. The waiter came to check in in a hurry. The dishes were really hard to describe🥲

A really good restaurant. If you appreciate real Chinese food, this is the place for you. It is simply furnished but clean. The toilets could use some repairs. Cosmetic repairs. I'll be back.

Best Peking duck out there in Germany! The restaurant atmosphere might be a lil bit outdated, but the food are good typical Cantonese dishes.

Very tasty, very friendly and the BEST very authentic. The chef is a 70-year-old Hong Kong Chinese and knows his craft (be sure to try the dim sum and dumplings.

Ordered the rice noodle set and seaweed and shrimp rolls. There were not many people at noon, and the food serving speed was okay.

By eight it was completely full, mostly Chinese. Lots of delicious food...we'll be back...

Very delicious and very authentic. The serving was quick and although the server at the time (around a month ago) didn't understand much English, he was very enthusiatic and gave his best. We ordered far more food than we could eat, the portions are big, but tasting all this food was worth it. We were worried about the low rating, but we shouldn't have been, the place is great.

Vor Jahren sind wir einmal dort gewesen. Das Erlebnis war nicht so besonders positiv. Da das typische China-Restaurant-Erlebnis der 1990er-Jahre ja leider zunehmend ausstirbt, dachten wir an dieses Restaurant, da es schon Ewigkeiten in Düsseldorf ansässig ist. Aber, so ein Pech für uns, seit Anfang 2024 ist alles anders. Die Gerichte sind durchweg sehr fleischlastig, Gemüse bekommt man eigentlich nur in Form eines Hauptgerichts. Die freundliche Kellnerin klärte uns dann auf. Etwas Gemüse gab’s dann dazu. Wir erfuhren: Reis muss extra bestellt und bezahlt werden; Die typischen Gerichte gibt’s nicht mehr. Keine Wan Tan Suppe, keine gebackene Ente mit Gemüse, keine gebackene Banane mit Honig. Dafür Gerichte mit Ochsenfrosch und Entenblut. Entsprechend schwierig gestaltete sich die Speisenauswahl. Es wurden dann die „Acht Kostbarkeiten“. Ein Begriff den ich von früher kannte machte mir etwas Hoffnung. Aber es kam ein eine recht schleimige Mischung aus zuviel Tofu, etwas Fleisch, Pilzen und wenig Gemüse. Bekommen ist aber alles gut und die Kellnerin war irgendwie distanziert aber freundlich. Es war wohl der letzte Besuch in diesem Restaurant…

My husband and I were there with Chinese friends and had a very good meal. Original Chinese Peking duck with many ingredients and sauces. The fish was also delicious. The service was good and we also liked the rooms. It was well attended and reservations are advisable.

Still a very good restaurant! Very authentic.

The Peking duck with pancakes is the best. The skin is crispy, the meat is juicy without the game taste and the hoisin sauce is nice and sweet. We came pretty late in the evening, but it still tasted amazing. This dish was around 50 euros when we ordered it.

Ich war vor vielen Jahren in China und die Restaurants dort sehen ungefähr so aus wie der Rosengarten. Eine beeindruckende Liste von Gerichten, die man sonst eher nicht bekommt. Das Publikum spricht für sich, außer mir saßen ausschließlich asiatische Gäste an den Tischen......und die wissen genau, wo es gutes chinesisches Essen gibt. ZB hier im Restaurant Rosengarten Ehrlich gesagt....ich hatte Hunger und hab mich für was "Sicheres" entschieden. Dim sum und Rindfleisch mit Paprika. Beides köstlich .Beim nächsten Mal werde ich ein "exotischeres" Gericht probieren. Im Restaurant, aber vor allem im Untergeschoss, bei den Sanitäranlagen, ist ein gewisser Renovierungsstau zu beobachten.

态度比之前好，有进步。食物一言难尽 米线是适合牙的人吃 煮的稀烂软软呼呼。酸菜汤+泡发米线+韭菜+猪肉末 = 说好的小锅米线，上来一个豆浆碗的器皿 汤也吃不出骨汤的感觉 十分敷衍。一碟牛肉碎 一碟豆腐丝 套餐20欧 ，加上点心 酒水 30几欧 ，性价比低 。要么就是不会点菜 来了两次 都是兴冲冲来打卡的 ，乏味。

菜的味道还行，服务也还专业，就是餐馆太破旧，椅子是人造革的，破的没法看，扔到大街上都不会有人捡。而且感觉有人在餐厅里抽烟。厕所也不干净。有一个马桶竟然连马桶座都没有。这样的餐馆得好好装修一下了。

Essen war geschmacklich ganz ok. Insbesondere die Peking-Ente ist gut. Service war freundlich. ABER: leider ist der Laden inzwischen ziemlich rotten down. Das sieht man am schlechten Zustand der Stühle und der sanitären Einrichtung, die auch ziemlich schmuddelig ist. Hier besteht dringender Renovierungsbedarf. - Wobei im ersten Schritt Putzen schon mal eine gute Idee wäre...

Very authentic Chinese food, Peking duck is the best! They also have Cantonese dim sum that they make themselves. There are also some special foods from Yunnan Province. It's worth a try, you won't regret it. It's very close to the central station. If you wanna go there on weekend, you'd better to make a reservation in advance.

Zugegebenermaßen kamen wir Mittags kurz vor Schließung in das Restaurant. Die Bedienung fand das offensichtlich nicht so toll und war nicht wirklich amused und zeigte dies auch in einem nicht als freundlich zu bezeichnendem Verhalten. Das Essen war recht ordentlich war nur bei früheren Besuchen deutlich besser. Die Berechnung der Beilage (Reis) hat uns etwas gewundert. Sollte im Gesamtpreis enthalten sein. Fazit man kann dort hingehen, man kann es auch lassen. Es gibt bessere chinesische Restaurants in Düsseldorf.

Das Essen ist schon in Ordnung, aber drum herum könnte noch besser sein.

We walked in for dim sum on a Sunday at 11:30 when they opened. This place is 3 min walk from the Hbf and was really delicious. All of the dumplings had great herb flavors. Like tiny chives in the Siu Mai, ginger in the soup dumplings, the coriander in the shrimp dumplings was also so fresh. Giant banquet tables with Lazy Susans, too. The service was quick, everything was served piping hot. The servers were very friendly and switched between English, German & Mandarin without missing a beat.

Food is good, don't leave without trying the Beijing duck. The problem, in my view, is the dining room. It is not very spacious for the amount of tables arranged and you will have the feeling to be very crowded. Moreover the place looks not cleat at all.

Wir hatten eine gute Erfahrung mit den authentischen, chinesischen Gerichten. Geschmorter Schweinebauch von Rosengarten stand auf der Spitze unseres Abendessens. Die Wonton-Suppe war eine gute Vorspeise. Meine Mama und mein Papa (Indonesien-Born Chinese) sind überzeugt, dass hier das beste chinesische Restaurant in Deutschland bis nun ist.

服务态度很好，点了松鼠桂鱼还有烤鸭还有其他的。但是鱼是超市冻柜的鱼排做的，但是50欧一只的烤鸭，竟然没有鸭腿。这正常吗？

这个小锅米线真的是坑…一点中超雪菜和少得可怜的猪肉末炒了炒 加上米线就完事了 还不如自家买个米线煮一煮多加点料来得好吃。我和孩子们吃完之后 晚上狂喝水 里面应该味精不少。前后几桌其他客人都有点这个米线 也都在那边说 真是一碗毫无亮点平平无奇的米线…….

Food was okay. I liked the dumplings the most and the gyoza. The rest of the food was not to my taste. Service was friendly and fast. Atmosphere was kinda off, furnitures are very old and it wasn't as clean as I expected to be.

Im ersten Moment erschrickt man ob des schmucklosen Interieurs. Die himmlische Peking-Ente (unbedingt mit Entenknochensuppe bestellen) entschädigt dann aber für alles!

点了豉汁凤爪，姜汁菠菜，东坡肉，水煮鱼。 前两个还不错，后两个要重点批评下。 东坡肉我就吃了一块，剩下的如照片，几乎都在，就吃了点皮，原因是猪肉的臭味太重了一点，很影响体验。 水煮鱼份量挺足的，但是不知道为什么，鱼片的黄酒味儿有点重，也不辣，豆芽的话我觉得还是换黄豆芽才是绝配。 没给一星是因为，我觉得可能和疫情有关系，所以算是理解分和鼓励分，由于客流量大幅度减少，备菜可能没有那么新鲜了。而且朋友说之前的水煮鱼不是这个味道。 希望不要形成恶性循环。 50欧元北京烤鸭一只： 整只烤鸭的骨架如图3；份量肯定没有一整只鸭，大概相当于德超买整鸭的百分之四十左右。 避雷：不要点水煮牛肉 水煮鱼这类的菜。

今天跟朋友去餐馆朋友直接在菜品里吃出了蟑螂，问怎么回事就直接把证据拿走了，开店也是凭态度的，就这个态度你别在想开下去了

Das Rosengarten gab es schon in Düsseldorf als ich noch ein Teenager war. Irgendwie war ich die letzten zehn Jahre nicht mehr dort, obwohl ich nicht weit entfernt wohne. Heute war ich seit langer Zeit mal wieder dort. Die Einrichtung, und insbesondere die gepolsterten Rückenlehnen der Stühle, haben über die Jahre ein wenig gelitten. Der Kellner, ein älterer Herr, war sehr freundlich und bediente uns tadellos. Ein zu warmes Bier wurde anstandslos zurück genommen. Wir hatten verschiedene Dim Sum, die alle ausgesprochen lecker waren. Die heisse Platte mit Ente hingegen war sehr enttäuschend. Die Ente wurde wohl in altem, ranzig schmeckendem Fett frittiert und dann mit diversem Gemüse, leider überwiegend Sojasprossen, Karotten und vermutlich Kohl, auf der heißen Platte serviert. Dazu wurde eine relativ fade Sosse separat gereicht. Das Gericht war leider ein kompletter Reinfall. Wir wollten zunächst drei Sterne geben, haben uns dann aber aufgrund der sehr leckeren Dim Sums und der freundlichen Bedienung für vier Sterne entschieden!

Wij hebben hier afgelopen zondag gegeten, het eten was verrukkelijk. Op zondag konden we alleen hapjes of een hele eend bestellen. We hebben 6 soorten hapjes besteld en het smaakte heerlijk ❤️ Amsterdamse kwaliteit gewend en dit voldeed aan verwachting. Restaurant was heel schoon en toiletten was ook heel netjes.

Yunnan rice noodles is so amazing and authentic! You need to reserve that in advance. The strong air conditioning is a bless! Don’t be fooled by the exterior as the interior has quite good ambience! Make sure to come in and try the food! Very friendly service too.

We were lucky that the owner provided the hidden menu - Guoqiao Rice Noodles. Quite a home dish from my hometown😁. We enjoyed them a lot, the chicken soup is very tasty and cooked for a long time, the rest meat combination suits the hot soup very well. The best part is the side dish, even in China, not easy to find such local cuisines. All in all, please try to talk with the owner to get this hidden dish!

Wir waren nur hier, da ein anderes Restaurant (wo wir ursprünglich essen wollten) geschlossen hatte. Erst waren wir sehr kritisch, da das Restaurant eine nicht ganz so hohe Google-Bewertung hat. Doch der Geschmack hat uns auf positiver Art & Weise sehr überrascht! Die Dim Sum Gerichte waren sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet, auch der Fisch in süss-sauer-Sauce war hervorragend. Weniger empfehlenswert isg hingegen die kantonesische Ente (zu trocken) und Tofu Bao (zu salzig und Tofu nicht ganz so frisch). Service war auch sehr freundlich und die Wartezeit für die Gerichte war sehr kurz.

Ein ganz besonderes China-Restaurant. Hier bekommt man chinesische Spezialitäten, die man noch nie gesehen oder gegessen hat. SEHR ZU EMPFEHLEN! Sehr freundlicher Service.

Ich mag die Speisekarte. Keine eingedeutschte Küche. Auf jeden Fall Dim Sum bestellen. Kantonente Spitze. Immer wieder gerne.

It's a traditional Chinese restaurant with authentic food! You feel you are in a restaurant in China, I went there by recommendation of my Chinese friend. We were a group of 6 and ordered Peking Duck and few other dishes, one of staff sliced the duck in front of us and made a soup with the rest of it, it was a nice experience.

Good simple food, authentic good value.

Endlich wieder ein Chinesische Restaurant wo es kein Buffet gibt und fast keine Tiefkühlsachen. Herrliche Tim Sum wunderbare Hpgnerfüsse. Herrliche Rindermagen. Dim sum is good here. There were only 2 tables during our visit but service is quite slow, staff seems stressed out. Food wise, was good but nothing wow.

I am a Chinese visiting Düsseldorf , This is a hidden Gem , if you want an authentic Chinese food experience , this is the place to go. The food quality is very very high . Clean nice place. The Chef is a real Traditional Chinese chef.

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Wir mussten lange warten bis das Essen kam. Da es wenig Personal gab. Sie waren aber sehr nett. Das Restaurant ist schön eingerichtet. Und die essensportionen sind auch ziemlich groß und dem Preis angemessen. Alles in allem war ich sehr zufrieden.

Uns hat es sehr gut geschmeckt. Alles frisch zubereitet. Service Personal war ok. Inneneinrichtung kann gerne mal wieder erneuern werden. Auch der Auswahl von Speise karte kann gerne mehr wie früher. Preis is Durchschnitt fair.

Nette Atmosphäre, tolles original chinesisches Essen

Klasse Chinesisches Restaurant mitten im Herzen von Düsseldorf auf der Karlstraße. Die Dekoration, sowieso die Einrichtung ist sehr Stilvoll und Traditionell. Das Restaurant wirkt hell und einladend. Sehr sehr freundliches, aufmerksames und kompetentes Personal erwarten einen hier. Sehr gute Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken. Ausgezeichnetes Chop suey. Ich persönlich kann das Restaurant nur empfehlen.

Gutes chinesisches Essen aus verschiedenen Regionen.

Authentische chinesische Küche - also nicht das Übliche wie süß-saures Hühnchen, sondern Seidentofu mit tausendjährigen Eiern etc.

经常来吃烤鸭，不用预订，不用等，味道超级正宗，其他的菜也很好吃，鱼香肉丝绝顶正宗，值得推荐，全五星。

A mi amigo taiwanés realmente le gusta este restaurante y visita aquí básicamente mensualmente. Ella me trajo aquí junto con su familia. El servicio era auténtico y los camareros hablaban cantonés y mandarín. La comida era deliciosa y lo más importante, auténtico. No pedimos demasiados dim sum debido a los requisitos dietéticos de otros huéspedes. Sin embargo, la cazuela de tofu era tan auténtica como podía ser. Si eres un antojo chino de comida auténtica, te recomendaré este restaurante.
