The food was really tasty and the price-performance ratio was also right. I would also particularly like to highlight the fast and friendly service. Although the restaurant was busy, the dishes were served quickly without sacrificing quality. Overall, a clear recommendation for anyone who wants to enjoy Asian food in a relaxed atmosphere! I will definitely come back.

It's not easy for me to give a review here. There is a pleasant atmosphere and the service is absolutely professional and appropriately friendly. The menu is not overloaded and yet everyone will surely find something to their taste here. I chose a hot plate of crispy chicken. The portion was generous, beautifully presented and, above all, delicious. Unfortunately, my (generally very insensitive) stomach reacted to the meal with a threatening rumble on the way home. Out of consideration for the reader, I will spare us a description of further developments. After an hour it was quiet again. Unfortunately, I am 100% sure that it was not an accidental ailment and somehow that has to be reflected in my judgment.

We were at the Böser Chinese restaurant (Medienhafen) and absolutely loved it! Everything was just tip top. The food was incredibly tasty and the atmosphere was modern and cozy at the same time. We would particularly like to highlight the service at the table from Sissi. She was extremely accommodating and always there when you needed her. Thanks to her we felt completely comfortable – a real service professional! Thank you, dear Sissi, for this great evening. We'll definitely be back!

Good food with terrible service Ordered drinks for 3 people at 7:00 p.m. Issued at 7:40 p.m. A small appetizer arrived about 50 minutes after ordering. The main course came at 9:00 p.m. Basically you could have left after the starter due to the immense time delay. It was commented that there is currently a lot to do. However, this is no excuse for a restaurant. If it is known that there are not enough staff, then tables in the outdoor area must be removed or, as the owner, I have to ensure that there are staff available on a Saturday evening. We weren't the only ones who complained about the service that evening. Because it's not just a problem with the service staff, but also with the kitchen staff. Furthermore, the sanitary facilities should be checked once in the course of an evening. The taste of the food was OK, but strangely enough we had a grumbling stomach afterwards. Taking all aspects into account, we will no longer visit the restaurant. It was more like a food court in an indoor shopping hall (luckily we sat outside).

Very disappointed. We ate there for the first time today. Sit down at 7 p.m., received starter around 8:20 p.m. and main courses around 9:30 p.m. Unfortunately we had to cancel our movie tickets because we couldn't make it to the 9 p.m. screening. I have to admit, I wouldn't normally have written a bad review. It can happen that you have to wait and the food was really delicious! But what I find bold, and unfortunately I only realized in the parking garage - we were promised two free drinks because we had to wait so long and I found that very accommodating. In the end, my friend specifically asked which drinks would be paid for. On the way to the parking garage my friend told me how much we paid and I became supportive. After adding up our drinks and food, we apparently didn't get any drinks on the house, which made us feel a bit ripped off because the waitress apparently lied to us. You don't even have to offer something like that if you don't intend to do it. Since everything is digital, it's hard to see everything. Unfortunately we didn't get a receipt for the order because we paid by card. Very unfortunate. Unfortunately we don't go there anymore and after this experience we don't recommend it either.

Partly cold, poorly seasoned and, on top of that, carelessly prepared, it unfortunately couldn't convince any of us - but especially not in terms of taste. In addition, after two hours (!) of waiting, we had actually already lost our appetite. The staff was completely understaffed, both in the kitchen and in service. I am pleased that both the indoor and outdoor areas were busy, but the staff was unable to accommodate the number of guests. Tip: Do not offer food for pickup. This just delays things in the kitchen. Price-performance ratio is grotesque. All in all, a disappointing visit to the Bad Chinese!

The name is a brilliant USP, you don't forget it, just like the quality of the food. Authentically Asian with European nuances, very well combined and tastefully prepared. The terrace is nicely designed and the audience is mixed. Only the service doesn't quite keep up when the restaurant is full. Still happy again, just because of the prospect of “posing old men in fast cars, followed by young mare”

You can't eat better anywhere than there.

Yesterday we had dinner at the Bösen Chinese restaurant at the Medienhafen. Unfortunately the service was subpar. We were given the menu and the order was taken. Drinks and an appetizer platter also came to the table. Unfortunately, no waiter has been available for us since then. The drinks were empty (31 degrees) and the appetizer plate was also empty. Unfortunately, no one felt responsible to ask whether you would like to continue with the main course or whether you would like to drink something else. The service staff preferred to stand together and chat. Afterwards, a waitress walked past our table three times and definitely saw that everything was empty. Unfortunately, after the 4x, I had to draw my attention to myself and ask whether I could continue with the main course. Food was tasty and sufficient. Unfortunately for me it's not worth a second visit due to the poor service. Unfortunately this is the second time this has happened.

Basle “mineral water” from the SodaStream, the soup (joy of the Janktzekiang) tasted of nothing. A disgrace for the prices.

It's just wonderful! The waiters are nice. And the food is delicious! I can recommend it to everybody!

Courteous service, relaxed outdoor atmosphere. But the food was disappointing. If you're expecting authentic cuisine, you're unfortunately in the wrong place here. Dishes very tailored to European customers. Hardly any seasoning and no spiciness, although very spicy was requested. The poor preparation continues with the cocktails. It's a shame... it can only get better.

Nice food but fairly rude staff. Was asked to move table due to their mistake. I don’t have an issue of being asked as it was clearly busy However I was quite rudely asked considering it was their mistake as they sat me there. The worst part was I was then ignored at the back of the restaurant when bigger tables were served first. Not impressed and poor service.

Nothing special for high price (potentially just because of the location)

The food at the evil Chinese was really good. You can find Chinese classics here, with authentic spices. The restaurant itself is stylishly decorated and everything was clean. The service could be a little friendlier. We didn't really feel welcome, but it just depended on the waiter's mood. Everyone has a bad day, but this shouldn't necessarily affect the customer. All in all, it's worth a visit because the food tastes good and the portions are really big, which justifies the slightly higher price for the main courses.

Den Gesamteindruck zu diesem Laden kann man am besten anhand der Tatsache beschreiben, dass man bei der Bestellung einer Flasche Sprudelwasser einfach Leitungswasser bekommt - und zwar für EUR 7,- . Das sagt alles. Geschmacksverstärker ohne Ende, lausiges Essen, miserabler Service. Nie wieder! .

I recently went to Böser Chinese in Düsseldorf with friends and have to say that it was one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. The food was incredibly tasty and fresh. We had the appetizer platter which had a wide variety of different dishes. I particularly liked the spring rolls and wontons. For my main course I had the "Decadence in the Summer Palace", a dish with prawns in a sweet and sour sauce and noodles. The sauce was perfect and the noodles were beyond words. The prawns were a delight and not too little. (Honestly, how delicious was that??!) Service: Service was also excellent. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Even though we had a reservation, we had to wait a bit, but the staff shortened the waiting time with nice conversations. You could see that they tried everything to be able to offer us a seat quickly without bothering other guests. Ambiance: The atmosphere at Böser Chinese is very stylish. You can probably see it yourself from the Google images. The atmosphere was really unique. Everyone seemed to be having fun and it was just a great feeling to be there. I felt very, very comfortable. Conclusion: I can absolutely recommend Böser Chinese! The food is excellent, the service is top and the atmosphere is very nice. My evening there was very good and my highlight this year.

I think the food there is completely overrated. Basically simple Asian dishes that don't correspond to the price-performance ratio. Lovely and simple. It reads great on the menu - but what comes on the plate is - unspectacular!

After a delicious meal, we wanted to order a drink an hour before closing time. Long after the meal the table wasn't cleared and you didn't get the opportunity to order anything new. When we then turned directly to the bartender, we received a rude, aggressive and even accusatory answer. He threw the towel on the counter and asked which drinks exactly we wanted to order. A very bizarre situation, we won't go there anymore!

The food was good. But I've never seen anything like the bartender. The restaurant was open until 11 p.m. and we had the nerve to try to order drinks at 10:15 p.m. Whereupon the bartender threw his wipe into the corner and complained loudly in his local language. We didn't get any more drinks. We have been to the Bad Chinese several times and have always been satisfied. But after the incident with this aggressive bartender, unfortunately we will no longer be entering the restaurant. Very unfortunate..

Im Rahmen eines Firmenevents hatten wir ein Abendessen mit 30 Personen. Wir hatten zwei lange Tische im hinteren Bereich. Das Essen durfte trotz der großen Gruppenstärke à la carte ausgewählt werden und kam zeitgleich und zügig, obwohl das Restaurant sehr voll war. Die Speisen waren superlecker. Besonderen Dank an unseren Service Sisi, die uns unfassbar aufmerksam, schnell und großartig den ganzen Abend über allerbestens versorgt hat. Danke für alles - wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

I spent a fun evening at 'Evil Chinese' with friends. The atmosphere was cool and relaxed. We enjoyed delicious wine and delicious food. A great experience to spend time with friends.

We went there yesterday on a recommendation No signs of the things described on the website!!! Children are more RUDE!!! We were seated at a high table with high chairs with a small child!!! (in the reservation it was stated that we would have a child with us) When we asked for another table, we were reluctantly pushed two tables together and told us we had to leave the table at 6:30 p.m. because another reservation would come afterwards!!! (as I said, we had a reservation for the day) Tables are so close together that when you walk past you end up with your backside on the next table!!! The service is terrible and absolutely outrageous and insulting!!!! We then quickly left again and the staff said to us: “THANK GOD THAT YOU’RE GOING AGAIN!!!!” (We were only in this absolutely rude and unfriendly shop for 5 minutes) Shame on you to treat customers like that!!!!! We then had a delicious meal IN ANOTHER STORE!!!!! (It's your own fault, you could have earned almost 300 euros if you had been a little more customer-friendly) I will absolutely NEVER recommend this restaurant to anyone!!!!! Not worth any stars for me!!!

That was the nastiest Chinese I've ever met.

Personally I wasn't impressed, he was disappointed, small portion, you couldn't get enough of it, cold rice stuck together in a lump, more vegetables like everything else and a small piece of duck, we were there with two people and paid €74 with drinks plus tip and are returned home hungry. Once and not again.

We have been guests at Bad Chinese for many, many years. Many of the old service staff are no longer there. The only long-term employee is Athina. After so many years, it's time to say thank you for the great service. We hope that you will stay with us for many years to come. Regarding the food we have to say, really great, keep it up!

Wir sind seit vielen vielen Jahren Gäste im Bösen Chinesen. Viele der alten Servicekräfte sind nicht mehr da. Die einzige langjährige Mitarbeiterin ist die Athina. Nach so vielen Jahren wird es mal Zeit danke zu sagen für den tollen Service. Wir hoffen das du uns noch viele Jahre erhalten bleibst. Zum Essen müssen wir sagen, echt toll, weiter so!

We were at the restaurant last night and had a reservation. The food was great as always. Unfortunately the evening was marred by the poor service. After the first order, in almost 3 hours no one even asked if we wanted to drink or order anything else. We then got the drinks ourselves twice at the bar. When the main course came, the starter for 4 people had not yet been cleared away, even though we had long since finished. Since there was no space on the table, the waitress rudely asked us to make room. After the main course, we sat in front of our empty plates for a good 45 minutes before we decided to leave. The restaurant was well attended, but the number of service staff was sufficient. Unfortunately, it was completely disorganized. I had imagined my stay on the occasion of my birthday to be much different! It's a shame about the really nice restaurant and the great food.

Reservations recommended, both outdoors and indoors. Attentive service, top menu and very good quality of dishes.

Das Essen war lecker und wurde schnell noch vor den Getränken serviert. Die Nudeln mussten einmal zurück, weil sie kalt waren. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich. In den Toiletten könnte öfter mal nach dem rechten gesehen werden. Mülleimer voll, Boden schmutzig um 19.00uhr.

Das Essen war sehr gut. Große Portionen. Habe leider nicht alles geschafft. Zum Schluss wurde es mir etwas zu ölig. Aber trotzdem wirklich sehr lecker. Ich habe beim Ambiente einen Stern abgezogen, weil die Toilette nicht sauber war.

한국분들중에 뭘 먹을지 잘 모르겠으시면 완탕수프에 누들 들어가있는거 시켜 드시면됩니다. 맛은 중국집 우동같은 스타일인데, 소시지와 슈바인학세에 질린 분들에게 정말 강추입니다. 야채도 많고, 국물도 뜨끈해서 너무 좋네요!

Wir haben das sehr gute Essen genossen. Beim Service kommt es wohl leider mehr auf Arroganz und Ignoranz an. Barkeeper und Kellnerin „spielen“ am Smartphone, rauchen im Innenhof. Das Rauchen ist ok, durch die offene Tür zieht jedoch der Qualm in den Innenraum, was neben dem Durchzug unangenehm ist. Ab 21:45 Uhr werden die freien Tische geputzt und die Deko (Tischlampen) weggeräumt, die Kaffeemaschine gereinigt usw.. Schade, dass man dann keinen Espresso mehr bekommt

Essen schmeckt nach Windel Fleisch geht klar, aber im allgemeinen ist es Kantinen essen! Kleiner Tipp wenn ihr wirklich gut asiatisch essen gehen möchtet einfach in das Restaurant auf die andere Straßen Seite wechseln 😉

Einfach suuuper lecker! Tolle selbst gemachte Nudeln, lustige Speisename, leckere Platten. War bisher noch von keinem Gericht enttäuscht

War heute zum ersten Mal im Hafen essen. Haben von der Mittagskarte die Ente gegessen. Diese war aber leider nicht knusprig und dadurch hatte man sehr viel Fett im Mund. Service könnte mal lächerln. Mir gefällt Flingern viel besser. Der Laden im Hafen ist mir zu voll gestellt und der Lärmpegel ist extrem.

Essen ok. Ambiente ok Service ok. Preis Leistung ok Nochmaliger Besuch eher nein . Dann lieber nach Düsseldorf Flingern.

Im grossen und ganzen ganz okay. Auswahl des essen ist gut. Leider habe ich mit geschmacklich mehr vorgestellt. Man konnte es essen aber nicht besonders schmackhaft. Portion sind auch gut. Leider zerrissen Menükarten ein NoGo. Service auch ganz gut !

Das Essen war lecker, aber nichts besonderes und deshalb schon etwas teurer. Der Service war nett und aufmerksam. Die laute Techno- und Chillmusik war etwas nervig. Der Innenarchitekt hat das Restaurant in einem hippen, etwas coolen und dunklen Düsseldorf-Hafencharme eingerichtet. Wer so etwas mag, fühlt sich sicher wohl.

Seit längerer Zeit mal wieder besucht. Für mein Geschmack viel zu dunkel im Restaurant, man sieht kaum was man auf dem Tisch hat. Fleisch teilweise nicht ganz durch gebraten. Keine Reservierung, sehr schwer einen Tisch zu ergattern. Im ganzen alles gut aber unpersönlich und viel zu voll und laut.

Schönes Ambiente, freundliche Mitarbeiter*innen. Das Essen wurde schnell serviert und schmeckte ausgezeichnet! Als Vorspeise hatten wir den Mango-Gurken-Salat, fantastisch! Absolut empfehlenswert!Samstagnachmittag ist es ruhiger und entspannter.

Das Essen ist super, der Service aufmerksam und schnell. Auch das Ambiente des Lokals ist gelungen. Einziger Nachteil, wenn das Lokal voll ist, steigt der Lärmpegel enorm an und man muss schon sehr laut sprechen, um sich zu unterhalten. Aber das ist ja eigentlich in allen vollen Restaurants so. Da alles andere stimmt also zu verkraften. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ein sehr schönes Restsurant. Mal anders eingerichtet als der übliche Chinese. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und das Essen war auch sehr lecker.

Netter Service. Die Vorspeisen haben jetzt nicht überzeugt, würde ich beim nächste mal drauf verzichten. Hauptgericht war relativ groß, mit vielen frischen Zutaten und geschmacklich ganz okay. Fast alle Hauptgericht lass sich mit Tofu ersetzen (vegetarische). Preisleistungsverhältnis ist noch gerechtfertigt.

Das Ambiente ist schick und gemütlich. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und nett. Wir hatten Wantans als Vorspeise, welche sehr lecker waren. (Kleine Anmerkung: Es muss nicht sooo viel Soße dazu gereicht werden - finde es schade, wenn dann der Rest dann entsorgt wird). Das Crispy Chicken und die Beijing Ente waren auch lecker, jedoch hätte die Ente saftiger sein können. Die Cocktails waren super.

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant. Ich muss krankheitsbedingt Gluten freie Speisen essen. Die Speisekarte mit den angezeigten Allergenen ist vorbildlich doch leider sind alle Hauptspeisen glutenhaltig. Ich vermute das z.B. bei den Reisgerichten lediglich die Sojasosse Gluten enthält. Wie gesagt eine Vermutung. Es wäre schön wenn das Restaurant auch das ein oder andere Hauptgericht ohne Gluten anbieten würde es gibt z.B. auch entsprechende Sojasosse ohne Gluten. 😀

Ich rate allen die Rechnung genau zu kontrollieren! Bei mir wurde heimlich der Getränkepreis erhöht, sowie die Gesamtrechnung erhöht. Nicht empfehlenswet!
