Hey everyone, quick info about this place: The service is incredibly unfriendly. We ordered from the menu. The food is bland and tastes like butt crack. The place has all the charm of a train station toilet. The tables are disgustingly smeared, and there's dirty crockery everywhere. I've never felt so uncomfortable in a restaurant. Next time I'm in the area, I'd rather eat my own toenails than set foot in this filthy place again.

Unfriendly service, with the server talking loudly on her phone as she walked through the restaurant, taking 20 minutes to take our order even though it was empty, then slamming our drinks and plates down on the table (without napkins, of course), and finally clearing the table while someone was still eating. We won't be going back, even though the food was perfectly fine and plentiful.

The price-performance ratio is unacceptable; €26.90 per person is quite steep, especially when gristle is repeatedly found in the poultry dish, and when vegetables are freshly prepared but arrive raw, devoid of seasoning and flavor. The chocolate fountain and soft-serve ice cream don't improve matters, and unfortunately, they aren't replenished regularly. The wait for payment is very long, the noise level is quite high, and the buffet area is chaotic. We won't be eating here again.

More mass-produced food for people who want to eat a lot for little money. I didn't find the quality very good. 24 euros for the buffet per person. I won't be going to this restaurant again.

I visited Mister Wu again after many years – unfortunately, it was disappointing. The food was lukewarm and too salty, and the service wasn't as attentive as it used to be. The price-performance ratio is no longer justified by the quality. It used to be much better!

A lovely Chinese restaurant. We had the buffet. Everything was beautifully presented, fresh, and delicious. There was ample parking, although the parking lot was a little hard to find. The service was good but not overly friendly. A smile now and then would have been nice.

Once and never again because of the absolutely unfriendly manager! The buffet itself is fine, filling and prepared as you would expect from a Chinese restaurant. Nothing more, nothing less.

I like to eat here on Mondays for lunch because it's cheaper. They also have freshly fried dishes at lunch, as well as fresh fish, noodles, and vegetables. The sushi is always good and is replenished quickly. Large salad selection and many desserts, although the ice cream unfortunately lacks the blue bubblegum flavor. The beef was unfortunately tough...

On October 7, 2025, we enjoyed the lunch buffet with freshly prepared dishes at Mr. Wu. The buffet was delicious, the value for money was good, and the staff was very attentive and friendly. We were satisfied and can recommend it with a clear conscience.

Been here for the first time in a long time. We were there shortly after opening. Food was refilled little by little. The glass of a refrigerated counter was cracked and stuck together, not a good solution; I didn't even want to touch it to open it. Otherwise, the atmosphere was cool, and the food was good.

We think no one should eat there. It's the absolute worst thing to do with Asian cuisine. Just slapped on the plate, sour and spicy soup tastes like grandma's old feet! For those who are pain-free, go there, otherwise, if you like good food, don't.

A delicious, varied buffet (always well-stocked and not warm like some reviews suggest; the sushi was especially delicious). Plenty for the kids (ice cream, soft serve, sweets, kids' buffet on weekends), delicious drinks. There was also a specialty buffet where you could sample everything and have everything grilled fresh. The dishes were brought either directly by the waitress or by a cute robot cat named Bella-Bella, who fascinated my kids. The best Chinese restaurant we've eaten at so far, although it wasn't exactly inexpensive due to the specials.

I've been to many all-you-can-eat buffet restaurants, but this one is by far the best. The ambiance is modern, Asian, and stylish, perfectly showcased by Asian symbols, clean lines, and indirect lighting. The food, especially the Mongolian buffet (raw, prepared with selected sauces on a teppanyaki grill after being handed over to the chef), is truly high quality compared to other restaurants. There was even venison fillet, kangaroo, crayfish, and octopus. The meat was cooked to perfection, the garlic pieces were crispy, the vegetables weren't too mushy, and each of the six sauces paired perfectly with each dish. It felt like it was seasoned with a lot of MSG, but it didn't have that negative "Chinese" flavor, but rather an exclusive umami taste. The chocolate fountain also didn't taste like cheap, fatty chocolate, but rather like rich milk chocolate. The service was also excellent; empty plates were immediately removed, the food from the Mongolian buffet arrived at our table within minutes, almost faster than we did, and the glass of €4.90 0.5L mango spritzer that my son dropped with his elbow was immediately replaced free of charge. At the end, they even gave my child a toy. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, they even serve authentic Peking duck at the buffet. We don't usually go to all-you-can-eat buffets anymore (due to the poor quality), but here at Mr. Wu, the ambiance and the taste were truly exceptional. When we return to Lübeck, we'll eat here again with colleagues. Prices: €26.90 adult €11.90 child €4.90 for 0.5L juices (mango, guava, etc.) Free parking is available to the right of Mr. Wu.

Honestly, folks, there's still room for improvement here. I was here on August 18, 2025, at 7:40 PM, and the pre-cooked, fried food was completely overcooked, lukewarm, and dried out. The freshly prepared food was OK. My 0.5-liter Pilsner was warm and poorly poured, and the waitress refused to accept my complaint. Motte, it couldn't be better, and they only charged me 3.80 instead of 5.90. Maybe it was too late or a bad Monday, but I've had much better food for 25.80. It was my first and last attempt. Sorry.

We went there after our trip to Lübeck to round off the day. The sushi buffet was particularly good and had a wide selection. I found the robot that brings the food to the table quite amusing. Unfortunately, I can only warn against the raw food that you can have fried. I tried the mini lobsters and other seafood. Unfortunately, two of the lobsters were spoiled (they smelled like fish poisoning). We pointed this out and returned the plates. The waiter was friendly, but didn't respond in any way. Our appetites quickly disappeared. After a somewhat lengthy discussion with the manager, my price was finally waived (I think only because the waiter was loudly fishing four more spoiled lobsters from the buffet in the background. Only then was the manager convinced that her products were indeed spoiled). Fortunately, I didn't eat any of the lobsters and thus didn't get fish poisoning. I hope this taught the staff a lesson and they improve accordingly!

08/2019 While the dishes were all heavily ginger-heavy until a few months ago, the buffet now mainly features deep-fried, mostly cheap pork and chicken. Beef is in short supply, the service seems lackluster, and the ambiance is nonsensical. I don't need to go back! 08/2025 Another attempt, and only because we were invited. Completely listless and untrained service (not Asian). The food came in batches, even though we ordered together, of course. Mass production and making as much money as possible, quickly, with as little effort as possible.

If you love Asian cuisine and value freshness and a wide selection, Mr. Wu is the place for you. The buffet impresses across the board – both in terms of taste and quality and variety. Even at first glance at the buffet, it's clear that attention is paid to freshness. The food is regularly replenished and appetizingly presented. Everything not only looks good, but tastes good too – from crunchy vegetables and freshly prepared sushi variations to crispy meat dishes and aromatic sauces. The buffet selection is impressive. Whether you're in the mood for something light, savory, or sweet, everyone will find something to their liking here. In addition to classic Chinese dishes, there are also many pan-Asian specialties that add variety to your plate. The Mongolian grill is particularly popular, where you can select your own fresh ingredients and have them prepared on the spot – customized and always fresh.

The worst employees there are. That little old guy who works there is so unpleasant. Never go back. No recommendation at all, so bad.

Unfortunately, we didn't feel like a guest because the staff was very unfriendly. On the phone, we were told the restaurant was full and we would have to wait for a table. When we arrived at the restaurant, half the tables were empty, so we felt rather unwelcome.

Hello, the food was awful. I ordered turkey breast, which was good. But it was the only good thing. The panna cotta was runny and tasted disgusting. The fried chicken things were so disgusting; you would have thought they were being eaten in a deep fryer. The staff were in a really bad mood and then they spoke rudely. I'm not going to that place again.

I was there last time with my 10 friends and it was delicious. The selection was very large and there was something for everyone. The service was also very good, and we all even got free tags. The restroom was clean and didn't have an unpleasant smell. The claw machine was also very entertaining. In total, we spent €15-20 and got two stuffed animals, so you can win something, and the stuffed animal also has some emotional value. Overall, top!

Unfortunately, I have to write a negative review today, as a long-time guest. Which makes the whole thing very disappointing. I had gastric surgery (three years ago) and only eat small portions, and I've always paid for children here. In fact, I really only ate a very small amount. Today, the waiter turned me away quite rudely and quickly, saying, "No, nothing to do, chef." We then simply said, "Okay, then we'll unfortunately be leaving," and the waiter simply said, "Then go." I've never experienced that here before. It's a shame. If he had seemed different to us, we probably would have done it that way, but unfortunately, not this way. Unfortunately, none of our familiar waiters were there.

Happy Hour on Sundays is supposed to be an upgrade to the lunch buffet. It also costs more than the lunch buffet. We've been there twice for happy hour and only got a standard lunch buffet, which was also poorly restocked. We mentioned it the first time, and they said it would improve. The second time, we didn't mention it again. We specifically didn't go at lunch because we wanted the dinner buffet. That's exactly what's supposed to be available at happy hour.

In the buffet you can choose any amount cuts of raw meat and vegetables and the chef will cook it for you and a robot will bring it to your table.

Back for the first time in 10 years and was disappointed. The food at the buffet was cold, the seasoning was bland, and everything tasted the same. Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio was completely off.

We had eaten a la carte and were there around 2 p.m. on a Saturday...the service was quick and...let's just say objectively correct. The portions were good, but the breading on the meat was very thick; The duck may have been fried several times and is therefore very tough and firm, and everything is seasoned with glutamate. There was no clearing; Asked if you would like to order anything else. So we got up and paid while standing. Too bad. There's still a lot in here.

Unfortunately, the evening began with the first disappointment at reception. Instead of a relaxed table for two, we were seated at a table with 6 other seats. Even when we asked the staff, no understanding was shown and we were only told that everything was reserved. So we resigned ourselves to it and went to the buffet. Unfortunately the food was also very bad. The freshly grilled meat was more than well done and had no taste despite the sauce. Furthermore, the food itself was either completely tasteless or completely oversalted. After a few hours we ordered the bill. 70 euros for this meal and this service...I don't know. A disappointment for us and we would have preferred to choose another restaurant. We'd rather stay away...
