Service can be improved, but the cuisine is good.

Everything we ordered was incredibly delicious and exactly how I imagine authentic Chinese food to be. The portions are huge and the prices are super fair :)

Super nice, super tasty! The ambience/furniture is borderline rocky, but somewhere likeable and, for me, more appealing than in hip shops full of shishi.

We had a good dining experience at Fu Li Lai, I would say one of the most authentic Chinese restaurants I’ve tried in Berlin. If you’re into bold flavors, spice, and a real taste of home-style Chinese cooking, this place is a must-visit! we ordered: Stir-Fried String Beans – Bursting with garlic and wok hei, beautifully blistered and flavorful. Braised Pork Hunan Style – Deep, rich flavors with a pleasant kick of heat. The pork was melt-in-your-mouth tender. Sautéed Beef with Celery – Light, fragrant, and comforting. Great contrast between tender beef and crunchy celery. Chinese Burger (Rou Jia Mo) – The flaky bun and juicy pork filling were absolute perfection. Chicken Feet dish – If you're an adventurous eater, don’t miss this one! Bit Spicy and deliciously gelatinous. Cold Salads – A great mix of spicy, tangy, and refreshing starters that balanced the hot dishes perfectly. The staff was friendly, efficient, and happy to guide us through the menu. The vibe is casual but cozy, and the flavors speak for themselves. If you're looking for real Chinese flavors and not just Westernized versions, Fu Li Lai should be at the top of your Berlin food list. Can’t wait to go back and explore more from the menu!

For me, Fu Li Lai is one of the most authentic Chinese restaurants in Berlin. If you're looking for the same old classic Chinese style, you're in the wrong place here. A wide selection (the menu is reminiscent of a telephone book) of a wide variety of dishes and ravioli, including very unusual dishes, make the choice difficult. The drinks menu, on the other hand, is unfortunately very clear. Anyone who can handle a bit of Chinese chaos will be happy here. You should ABSOLUTELY try the “schnapps on the house”!

Perhaps the best Chinese restaurant in Berlin. There are still real authentic Chinese dishes here. In terms of taste, the small, inconspicuous restaurant is really a journey to the Middle Kingdom. The staff is friendly and attentive.

Great little restaurant with very good Szechuan cuisine and very friendly service

Difficult rating I have to say. The food is pretty good, 'authentic' Chinese and the portions are decently sized, although it lacks a bit of sophistication. I wouldn't recommend the Maultaschen, they were rather bland. The service was clearly attentive and friendly. The food didn't come at the same time but one after the other, which is fine. Price-performance is also ok so far. What I didn't like: the general atmosphere was rather bland and a bit dingy, especially the toilet wasn't nice. No card payment possible 🙄

I came here spontaneously once with my family and now I go once a month. My absolute favorite restaurant. Even as a vegetarian you can find lots of delicious things here!

Super authentic restaurant! Even if the ambience inside isn't exactly the nicest, the food is extremely good. Many different and delicious dishes, including: also a good selection of vegetarian options. The staff is very nice and accommodating. The food tasted very good, was prepared quickly and freshly. On every table there are a variety of sauces, salt and pepper. It is advisable to simply order several dishes and share them. For anyone who just wants to immerse themselves in Chinese and Asian cuisine in general - a must!

Had dinner at Fu Li Lei with family for the second time. The food is typically Chinese, sometimes very special. But there are pictures in the menu and you should be brave and try something out and be surprised. As an appetizer there was delicious seaweed salad. All dishes tasted well seasoned but not too spicy. I thought my bibimbab with chicken was absolutely delicious. The fried beans in chilli oil are also a sensation. There was also plenty of choice for the vegetarians in our family. The dishes were all plentiful and not overpriced. It wasn't the last time we ate here.

Very delicious food & calm atmosphere

Food was delicious and really different than many other restaurants. We had lapi, spicy lamb ribs, dumplings and a few other things. Waiter was also very nice!

Super tasty, nice service. We didn't expect anything and were just thrilled. The shop has its "charm", but you definitely don't have to dress up to eat there ;) We'll be back!

Cute little garden. Interieur is rather old but ok. Often more Chinese guests than Western guests. Food choice is broad and you see lots dishes that you don't find in a "normal" German Chinese restaurant. The eggplant was battered and crispy and light with a thick delicous sweet sour savory sauce:) the wonton in chilli oil were not overcooked and very tasty. The cucumber salad very refreshing and with great vinegar. The fish in chilli oil was very tender and delicous. Highly recommend this place.

Best Chinese restaurant in Berlin. When I visit my parents and friends from Bavaria, I try to eat there as often as possible or at least take something with me. The dishes are not cooked according to the taste of the Germans but are original - wonderful. If you don't have the time or opportunity to travel to China, you'll find the best food here! Clear recommendation!

Chinese people don’t accept credit cards

As soon as it arrived, cold dishes were served, including cold shredded potatoes and shredded kelp. All three dishes tasted very good, including pot-wrapped pork, vinegar-braised cabbage, and slivers. The service attitude was particularly good and I was given a glass of boiled water. I sat in the yard in the summer. Very comfortable too

We ate there today. I haven't had such good Chinese food in a long time. All dishes were excellent. The portions are more than sufficient. We took a good half with us. The price-performance ratio is excellent. The service was very nice and attentive. We will definitely go there again. It is highly recommended.

An inconspicuous, small restaurant with exceptional and excellent cuisine! The dishes are fantastically seasoned, the portions are huge and not exorbitantly expensive. The hospitality is very friendly and quick. The ambience is rather sparse, but we felt comfortable.

Well, we've had much better Chinese food than here. 1. Beef Gong Bao style and 2. Bibimbap ordered. The bibimbap was OK because you can't really go wrong with it. But not the Gong Bao meat. It was covered in thickened sauce without much flavor, so sticky/mealy. This can be done much better elsewhere. Thanks for the nice service, but we won't repeat it!

Huge selection, very tasty, friendly staff. Well seasoned kimchi, the bean sprout salad and the dumplings were super tasty. Otherwise, the egg rice and the shrimp are also highly recommended!

I don't understand the positive reviews. Since a wannabe influencer dubbed this place the “best Chinese restaurant,” we gave it a try. I haven't thrown up like I did after that restaurant in a long time! Apparently the guests who don't come often are fobbed off with bad/old food. I have to say I'm beyond disappointed and I had better things to do than be unwell until 2am!

Food is extremely spicy. Ambience rather poor, not really inviting. My food was classic and okay, but I get the same thing at every Chinese restaurant. You can't feel comfortable there. We got the wrong food and the rest of the family thought it was too spicy and didn't taste good.

Very authentic northern Chinese eating experience. The food and people remind me of home a lot. I ordered lamb soup noodles. Not what I typically get but they are surprisingly good. The soup is clear and not greasy. It tastes savory and peppery, and has a subtle hint of spicy taste. The choice of lamb cut is perfect, still tender after cooking and no gamy taste. The portion is generous, lots of lamb slices and a huge amount of noodles. I couldn’t finish it and the leftover can definitely last me for another meal. Handmade noodles are bouncy and filling. Can only recommend.

What a journey Finally we drove around 80 km to form our own opinion. We didn't have a reservation, but we got a table after 15 minutes. We liked that. What was less nice was that we spent almost 30 minutes looking for a parking space. The restaurant can't do anything about that, but you should take that into account in your planning if you want to eat there. The restaurant itself has a family charm. The furnishings are a bit old, but that hasn't detracted from the very authentic food. That's what we were after after all. There were two of us and we wanted to eat at 7:30 p.m. In fact, due to the search for parking and the wait for a free table, it was 8:30 p.m. The service was very good and the food came quickly, but not too quickly. Exactly right, because everything was freshly prepared and there was also a starter that was on the house, a very tasty spicy seaweed salad, which I give 1.5 out of 3 chili peppers if we can agree on this simple rating. We also ordered twenty mixed dumplings which were very tasty, although the fillings were a bit weak because they could hardly be separated from each other in terms of taste. At the same time we had prawns Gung Bo, also extremely tasty, and the spicy lamb ribs, which were certainly the highlight of the evening. Very spicy, tossed with lots of different herbs and spices in a hot wok and fried in a tempura batter. The portion was incredibly large, but that was a good thing because it tasted so sensationally good that we ate it all without rest. We drank a TsingTao Beer, a ginger tea and a bottle of water. In the end, with a 10% tip, we paid around €70. That's not cheap, but absolutely justified, because the very traditional and authentic food was uniquely good. The little Fa Li Lu is highly recommended, and we will definitely come back...☝️😎

Based on an influencer video, we ordered the lamb ribs, which fell off the bone in the video. We received stones - fried several times - no question from the waitress... After we raised the issue, there was no response. 2nd attempt never again!

Good food good price family atmosphere

Hab eine Nudelsuppe bestellt. Das Fleisch ist eindeutig schimmelig. Hab zwar mein Geld zurück bekommen, die Besitzerin hat aber nicht zugegeben, dass es schlecht ist. Sie behauptet, dass es Sojasoße wäre.😵

Das Essen ist fantastisch und vermittelt einem den Eindruck von authentischer chinesischer Küche, der weit weg ist von dem europäisierten Essen, welches man fast überall bekommt. Es gibt vegane Gerichte, was für mich ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist.

Zufalls-Entdeckung: Ein kleines China-Restaurant mit originaler Küche, soweit ich das einschätzen kann. Als Vorspeise aufs Haus gab es hervorragende Kartoffelstreifen und Seealgen-Salat. Die sauer-scharfe Suppe war sehr gut und tatsächlich auch etwas scharf. Mein Mapo-Tofu war dann noch etwas schärfer – und ebenfalls sehr lecker und riesig; ich war pappensatt und habe trotzdem die Hälfte noch mitnehmen können. Ich komme bestimmt wieder…

Das war eine Erfahrung wert, chinesische Hausmannskost, sehr lecker und die Portionen waren echt groß. Kann ich jedem nur empfehlen. Uns ging's am nächsten Morgen super, das zeigt wie gut das war

What an absolute gem of food experience. I certainly am no one who would say: Let's go have some Chinese food. But this place was delicious and so different and authentic to all those restaurants I know. All of the dishes were so fragrant and flavoursome. I recommend the beef in chilli oil soup with rice. The yummy fried dumplings, the fungi salad and the sticky aubergine slices. I absolutely liked it and we ordered too much anyway. It's a must try and go with an empty stomach. It's delicious!!!

Offenbar sehr authentische Küche zu überaus humanen Preisen. Bedienung freundlich, aber mehr auch nicht. Was nervig war, das ständig irgendwelche Freunde oder das Personal an den Tischen saßen und lautstark kommunizierten. Und eine Dame hat sich nonstop für 1,5 Stunden mit irgendetwas auf den Oberschenkel gehauen. Was soll das?! Kommen vielleicht noch mal wieder...

Vielleicht sieht das Restaurant nicht so gut aus, aber das Essen ist der Hammer! Bestes chinesisches Essen in Berlin!

As a Chinese, have to say it is really not authentic. Not recommend it at all. The chicken is cooked burned, and fried dumplings are not fully fried and very oily inside. The sauce of Liang Pi is mixed with too much water. The prices is very high (72 euros two persons for 3 dishes) for this food quality.

Das Restaurant ist nicht gerade einladend, aber gerade das, ist so besonders. Man bekommt authentische asiatische Gerichte, wie sonst nirgendwo. Die Bedienung ist schwer zu verstehen, aber die Menü Karte enthält Bilder:). Sehr zu empfehlen ist der Schweinebauch, dir chinesischen Hamburger und die Vorspeisen.
