China Palace Restaurant in Bad Rappenau

Just tried calling. Number is not in service. After some searching, I found a mobile number. The woman then informed me that the restaurant is permanently closed. When asked why this hadn't been made public, she simply said she had deregistered everything...

We eat there often and have always been very satisfied. It's a shame that other people don't know what good food is. The service is always very polite and always gives us excellent advice.

We were at the palace last night and dined like royalty. We could hear the hot platter and the hot pot sizzling loudly from afar. Everything was delicious, even though we ordered everything without any flavor enhancers, as stated on the menu. The lady of the house seemed a bit reserved at first, but she gradually became cheerful and charming. It was a wonderful experience for us. Payment is only possible in cash. We are flexible and independent of plastic money and will definitely return to the palace again when we are in the area.

We were served incredibly quickly. The way the food was presented was a wonderful experience, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Now for the major criticism. The dishes all tasted very similar and were mostly salty. The sauces lacked a bit of character and weren't very Chinese, but rather mildly spiced. We also missed Erwa's traditional music. We'd love to come back!

We were at this restaurant yesterday and I had the impression that the waitress was somehow not in the mood. Instead of showing us to a set table, we had to find one that was clean and set for us. We decided on our meal relatively quickly and, since the restaurant didn't have any bottles available, we each ordered two large glasses of water to go with the wine we ordered (unknown vintage). We were given iced sparkling water (instead of asking for still or medium 🙈 with wine, they always bring still water 🙈), and I got the impression that the kitchen was already closing time. The food wasn't bad, the sauces cost extra, and unfortunately, you couldn't eat the dishes dry. But they only got the two stars because they stayed open an extra five minutes for us and gave us a table.

I don't know what to say, I was speechless when I looked at my food or wanted to eat it, that's a bad joke

Delicious Chinese food – previously with a lunch buffet The China Palast in Bad Rappenau offers delicious Chinese food in a cozy atmosphere. The dishes are freshly prepared and taste typically Asian – simply delicious! There used to be a buffet at lunchtime, which we really appreciated – unfortunately, it's no longer available since the coronavirus pandemic. The restaurant itself has a classic Chinese interior – just as you know and love 😊. Overall, a solid recommendation for anyone craving Chinese cuisine.

Well, I would have expected something different for the price... The food is at best comparable to the Chinese takeaway we get in town - only it's significantly cheaper there. Even outside, it smells like a French fry stand with used grease - inside too, and when I came out, I smelled like I'd spent a long day in front of a deep fryer... The atmosphere and drinks are okay - the service was reasonably friendly. As for the food: Rice was okay. The oyster sauce was very salty, seemed like brown sauce powder to me and certainly didn't taste like oyster sauce. The mushrooms tasted moldy. The vegetables were extremely limited: 4-5 slices of carrot, 1 broccoli floret, 2 pieces of bell pepper, and about 3 quarters of the aforementioned mushrooms - no onion. The star of the dish – the duck was nothing... overcooked, not crispy at all, hardly any meat – mostly a crust with an indefinable coating, seemingly meant to "stretch." It looked like a lot at first, but upon eating, we discovered that most of the pieces had an indefinable and unappetizing texture. At least it was stylishly served in a pan with a candle underneath, and the rice in a separate container with a lid on top. But what good is that if the food is disappointing? A shame – especially for the hefty price... Unfortunately, I can't recommend it to anyone and won't be going there again.

Food from the buffet tastes good but unfortunately not a large selection. Small but nice. Well-kept and very tidy restaurant. I can recommend EDIT: there has been no buffet since Corona. But the dishes are still super tasty. I can only recommend this restaurant. Enjoy it

Small restaurant with almost no choice in the buffet. Food prices are above average, waiters could have been a wall, or at least that's what it felt like to talk to and card payments are still not possible when even the kebab shops around the corner are now so modernized - greetings from the tax office. Unfortunately the only Asian in the area... so no choice anyway. Just like any other Asian restaurant, the food is fine. Not bad, not great.

We really enjoyed being here 10 years ago. I was in the area today for lunch and had dinner there again. An absolutely disappointing experience Very unfriendly service, the food was thrown down to you without a word, some of the food wasn't even lukewarm and unfortunately no taste other than fat.

The waiting times were simply too long. We waited forever to place the order. Then again far too long for the starter and main course. And then again forever to be able to pay. The tables around us were not cleared. We had the mixed starter and there was still oil floating in the wontons. The other starters were very tasty. Unfortunately, I had to add more seasoning to my fried noodles at a Chinese restaurant for the first time. The breaded chicken could have been crispier and darker in hotter oil. Unfortunately, I still had a stomach ache after eating. But the waitresses were very nice when they were there. I'm so sorry to give a not so good review. Maybe I just had a bad day.

Gsnz bad food, not recommended at all. Long waiting times

Extremely unfriendly, food didn't taste good, noodles only mixed with soy sauce and 3 pieces of vegetables in it... doesn't work at all. And then they can't even do the math and give out the change incorrectly. Never again!!!

I go there often to eat or just to pick up something :) What can I say, the food is wonderful, the price is also good, the service is great and the portions are large. I can only recommend it to everyone 👍

I've now given the atmosphere 5 stars, even though I only ever order take-away. But that's why I can't deduct any points ^^ In any case, the food is perfect! I think the wontons are filled with tofu. But if that's all😜 I can definitely recommend this store!!! Very tasty and not expensive...

We reserved a table for two people for 7:00 p.m. That wouldn't have been necessary. The restaurant was not very busy on Sunday evening. There was no buffet. The service was very attentive and friendly. I had duck in "Sa-Cha" sauce and breaded chicken in peanut sauce. The duck and vegetables were delicious. The chicken was covered in a thick breading. In my opinion, the breading could have been a little crispier. There was a Peking soup beforehand The spiciness was just right. All in all a delicious meal in a typical Chinese atmosphere. What I missed was the plum wine that is usually served after the meal.

Very nice restaurant in the middle of Bad Rappenau. There are parking spaces directly in front of the house, but the restaurant is also easily accessible on foot. The owners, who cook and serve, are very friendly and accommodating. The food was freshly prepared but came very quickly. The portions are very generous, so everyone gets full. Special requests are gladly taken into account. The food tastes very tasty. Ingredients are always fresh. Definitely recommended, we'll be back.

The starter came quickly and was delicious, unfortunately we had to wait a very long time (45 minutes) for our food even though there was nothing going on in the restaurant. Sauce that was ordered was simply powder mixed with water and heated

Feines Essen. Gute Auswahl, ohne übertrieben zu sein.

An sich ein sehr schönes Restaurant. Empfehlenswert sind die China Familien Festlichkeiten. Zwar wie bei Allen etwas am Preis angehoben, dennoch akzeptabel für die Menge und frische. Leider waren einige Getränke auf der Karte nicht vorhanden. Tee und Kaffee Angebot passabel, geschmacklich in Ordnung. Wenn man hier in der Gruppe essen möchte fair.

Wir kommen ursprünglich aus dem Süden Deutschlands und waren für einen zwischen Stop im China Restaurant Palast. Wir haben nicht damit gerechnet, dass das Essen so lecker und hochwertig ist. Wir haben unser Essen in großen Portionen bekommen. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis top. Die Bedienung war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie hat uns alles gebracht was wir gebraucht haben. Wer schnell lecker Asiatisch essen möchte ist hier genau richtig! Danke, wenn wir mal wieder in der Gegend sind, kommen wir mit Sicherheit wieder 🌸

Schönes Restaurant, sowohl zum dort essen als auch zum mitnehmen, die Portionen sind Ordentlich (was ich sehr gut finde) und die Preise angemessen. Parkplätze sind direkt am Restaurant dran.

Ein ganz normales China Restaurant wie man es halt kennt. Das Essen schmeckt gut die Portionen sind schön groß und die Preise der aktuellen Zeit sehr fair angepasst. Ich werde weiterhin dort alle paar Wochen mal dort Essen bestellen zum mitnehmen.

Ein absolutes Muss wenn man mal in Bad Rappenau isst. In authentischem Ambiente kann chinesisches Essen genießen.

Die Einrichtung wie vor 40 Jahren bei chinesischen Restaurants üblich, aber alles sauber. Personal freundlich, Speisen sehr gut und günstig. Da macht man nix falsch.

Schönes Restaurant und sehr, sehr gutes Essen. Reichhaltige Portionen, keine lange Wartezeit. Was wir als unangehm empfunden haben war, das es sehr kalt im Restaurant war... Denke heir wird auch sehr gespart.... Schade, wenn man beim Essen friert.... Aber ansonsten sehr zu empfehlen

Wenn wir Vorort sind gehen wir immer gerne mittags unter der Woche hin. Das Mittagsangebot ist einfach vom Preis nicht zu schlagen und sehr lecker.
