Good food - unfortunately currently closed

Because we want to support local restaurants, we occasionally order a meal on Sundays. So the restaurants can plan, I like to call a day in advance. Unfortunately, I can't do that at Schnitzelhof. It's no problem, so I call on Sunday morning and want to place my order. The order is reserved based on the last three digits of the car registration number; I have no idea what that's about. I was surprised, but I accepted it. Now comes the point that really annoys me and why I'm only giving it one star. I wanted a dish without onions. The information says that's not possible, so I ask myself: Is the food freshly prepared.

Very good, crispy schnitzels. Keep it up.

We made a reservation by phone. Very friendly and it worked out great. The welcome at the restaurant was friendly. We could sit inside or outside. Since we were there with a toddler and wasps were active outside, we chose to sit inside. Unfortunately, the floor under our corner bench was extremely dirty. Too bad. The dirt looked like it had been there for several days. Drinks were brought quickly and served quickly. The house-made iced tea was delicious and served in a special glass. Great. The food was brought quickly and arrived very quickly. Special requests for our child were no problem. Schnitzel and Maultaschen were very tasty. The toppings were also good. Unfortunately, the spaetzle weren't homemade. Since we were completely full, we didn't get to try dessert. Conclusion: If the floors were cleaned better and things like spaetzle were still homemade, it would get full marks. So I had to deduct two points.

The schnitzels are thin and tender, the portions generous. The breading is truly delicious. The schnitzels are deep-fried, not pan-fried. It's a shame that the sauces seem to be pre-cooked, and the cheese isn't the best choice either. The chili sauce, in particular, was a flop. There's still plenty of room for improvement here. A good, in-house sauce and a better choice of cheese for topping and for the cheese spaetzle would put the schnitzels on top. Customers will certainly be happy to pay more for that.

Sehr gute Schnitzel - die Panade ist grandios ! Sind absolut zufrieden. Auch das Herbsthäuser Bier ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Grosse Portionen. Wir (fünf Personen) hatten unser Essen nach fünf Minuten. Freundliche Bedienung.

Tolles Restaurant. Leckeres Essen. Sympathische Leute, die dort arbeiten. Hier waren wir nicht das letzte Mal!

Essen war eher Durchschnitt. Wir waren zu viert dort, das Essen kam nacheinander, nicht so toll. Eigentlich möchte man ja gemeinsam beginnen zu essen. Also einmal reicht.

Riesige Portionen für wenig Geld. Haben uns das Essen dann mitgenommen. Ich bin begeistert. Super nettes freundliches Personal. Kann ich nur weiter empfehlen. Für jeden etwas dabei und die Schnitzel Kruste ein Traum.

Riesige Portionen, keiner von uns hat seine Portion geschafft. Super (teilweise auch ungewöhnliche) Auswahl und mega lecker. Freundliches Personal und Preise auch gut. Bin begeistert.
