Kulimare in Bad Rappenau

I made a reservation for a group of eight people for a Monday three days in advance and was really grateful that we got the table so easily. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant for a small dinner party! :)

The food was delicious. We had a side salad as a starter, which came with warm breadsticks, and for the main course we had pizza, calzone, and lasagna. Everything was highly recommended. However, I especially want to highlight the service and the hospitality towards small children. It's rare that a member of staff has gone to such lengths to make a little one's meal so enjoyable. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening yesterday. 🥰

The service was incredibly friendly, and the restaurant was packed on Friday evening! The food was delicious, but unfortunately there were few vegetarian options and virtually no vegan choices, which weren't specifically marked. We sat in the conservatory, which was nice and warm thanks to gas heaters!

A large pizzeria that was very busy, yet we were greeted very friendly and unhurried. The pizzas we ordered from the extensive menu arrived quickly and were delicious. The service staff was very attentive. I can definitely recommend this place.

A guest had an extremely loud voice, which many guests noticed. It would have been helpful if a staff member had pointed this out to him. He probably wasn't even aware of it.

The food is excellent, there are no long waits, the service is friendly, and the value is excellent. I'd happily return.

The menu is fantastic and varied, and the ambiance is lovely and inviting. The staff deserves special mention: attentive, friendly, and always with a smile. They ask if everything's okay – which makes the stay even more pleasant. The cleanliness is also top-notch, dogs are welcome, and overall, you feel very comfortable. Such great, delicious food truly deserves a big compliment. Highly recommended – we'd love to come back!

Simply delicious! 😍 I had bruschetta, pasta arrabbiata, and a tiramisu to finish – everything was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and perfectly balanced. You can immediately tell that the food is cooked with love. The portions were just right, and the service was very friendly. I'll definitely be back – I highly recommend it!

We went there today without a reservation and got a table. The food and service were excellent. We'll make a reservation in advance next time, just to be safe. We'd be happy to go back. The limoncello is delicious.

For me, a very tasty pizza. The portions are also all very generous, and the prices are completely reasonable. Also check out the lunch specials. Parking is nearby. I would come back. P.S. The outdoor floor and some of the decor could definitely be improved.

Special pizza creations & a beautiful ambiance Kulimare in Bad Rappenau offers truly delicious pizza, pasta, and fresh salads – all prepared with love. My absolute favorite is the Pizza Española: with pesto, shrimp, chorizo, chili, and aioli – super delicious and something truly special. The salads and pasta dishes are also impressive – top-notch in flavor and beautifully presented. The ambiance is stylish and cozy, and in the summer, you can even sit outside. I definitely recommend it!

We were passing through here yesterday and decided to stop by this restaurant for dinner. I really enjoyed the pasta with chanterelle mushrooms, and my boyfriend had a mushroom pizza. The pizza could have been a bit more spicy, but both were still very, very delicious. The food was served quickly. I would definitely go back.

No "hello" upon entering, no offer of a seat – you had to actively ask if you could even sit down. The staff was completely overwhelmed, inattentive, and not recognizable as such (no uniform, no professional demeanor). I ordered cannelloni with minced meat – I got some with tuna. Absolutely inedible, especially when you weren't expecting it. Complaining? No chance, because no one showed up after the service. You had to pay at the front counter because apparently no one came to your table – and that with absolutely exorbitant prices for such miserable quality. No tip, never again. Stay away from this "Italian" place – it has nothing to do with hospitality and good food.

A truly fantastic restaurant with super friendly service and incredibly delicious food. The calzone, which I ordered with crème fraîche instead of tomato sauce, was divine. The dough is as good as any pizzeria I've ever had. I'd be happy to go back. Again and again.

A quick lunch break can be arranged here. The pizza is delicious, even if it's not quite above average. Smoking is allowed in the conservatory, which occasionally drifts through the windows into the restaurant, making it somewhat disturbing.

The fried pike-perch fillet was very tender, but had bones. The rosemary potatoes served as a side dish were more like "regular" boiled potatoes to me, but without any salt or rosemary flavor. I ordered a side salad – a vegetable option would have been better; it was a bit dry overall for me and I would have preferred a suitable dip or light sauce. Another customer personally requested calamari fritti, which was served with fries and a side salad – with a dip – and it was delicious.

It smells good. The ambiance is perfect for quiet conversation. The best pizza I've had in the last five years, including my vacation in Italy. Service is pretty quick. Go there.

We dined here once as a group of three and another time as a group of seven. The food, ambiance, and service were first-class. 100% recommended!

We really enjoyed the pizza and the asparagus dishes. Unfortunately, the yogurt salad dressing wasn't to our taste at all. Very nice and attentive service.

NEVER AGAIN!!!! What does Kulimare have to do with international cuisine? It's an overpriced Italian restaurant! With wait times of over 1.5 hours!! For one pizza, one pasta dish, and a piece of lasagna! (Which I had to spit up all night and had heartburn) NEVER AGAIN here!!! The staff is total chaos!! EVERY waiter comes to the table and wants to take your order, and after ordering, you get your food after a whopping 1.5 hours!!! BUT I have to say the new owners have been very clever, keeping the old name of the restaurant and thus also inheriting the good reviews from the previous owner!! RESPECT!! And very clever!! It just has nothing to do with international cuisine like the previous owner did!!! From the outside, it's NOT noticeable that it's now an Italian restaurant!! Food: Pizza black on the outside! A small piece of lasagna was drenched in sauce! And the pasta dish without sauce was very dry! And the taste was very bland and unseasoned!! The bottom line! Bad food followed by a sleepless night!

Very attentive service, the food came to all 18 people in good time. Price-performance ratio was absolutely right, we were all thrilled. Highly recommended - but order a table!

I discovered this restaurant right next to me for the first time today. It's incredibly dimly lit and the atmosphere is simply perfect.

Went out to eat on a recommendation... 100 points for the kitchen. Service was young, male and only 75 percent ambitious, but friendly. The ambience doesn't necessarily remind you of Bella Italia, but if you want a reasonable meal at a fair price, this is the right place... and PS: the portions were very decent. After the starter I was actually full.... 110 out of 100 points for that!

The food is okay, the service unfortunately not so: Too slow, too careless and not very customer-focused. The main course came shortly afterwards, despite the request to bring the salad as a starter. The request for a little more sugar and a second glass of water was forgotten, the bill was communicated verbally, I had to ask for the presentation, the digital payment didn't work, everything "works like that". Unfortunately, it wasn't just a slip-up: when I ate here alone last year, I wasn't served at all at first, and things only progressed after I asked several times. And there has been a broken wheelchair elevator for years, which prevents my brother-in-law from coming here. That's too bad. Apparently there is no real interest in taking disabled people into account. What a shame!!

As always, it was a very pleasant visit. The food was again almost “perfect”. It's always worth a visit to this restaurant. Gladly again!

Such good pizzas and dishes. Highly recommended. I would have loved to take the restaurant home with me. In summer we were able to sit on the covered terrace. However, if it gets very crowded there or there are larger groups there, it gets loud very quickly. Great value for money. Restaurant is highly recommended all around.

Great restaurant with Italian cuisine. Nice staff, there's nothing wrong with the service. Prices are reasonable. In the adjoining room, which serves as a terrace in summer, the tables are only sparsely set, but the food then blows it out of the water. Gladly again! Note, it is handicapped accessible and has a wheelchair lift in the entrance area!

I went to this restaurant a while ago and wasn't happy. When I described why my review was reported by kulimare. Very personable. Based on the reaction, I will recommend it even less. The food shouldn't stick to the bottom of the plate, as deleting a comment won't help ;) but in general the food had little taste and wasn't served in an appealing way... if you can write it that way...

Good "Italian" in the spa town of Bad Rappenau. I was in rehab there and I always go to this location on weekends with my visitors. Be sure to reserve in advance!! Otherwise nothing works! After 6 p.m. there are often no tables left. Probably more relaxed after 2 o'clock. The pizzas are really surprisingly tasty. Even extra requests (I'm a vegetarian) weren't a problem. Pasta dishes are tasty and good portions. The staff (actually only men) is friendly and attentive. There is a "veranda" where you can also smoke when the temperatures are warm. Only the glass tables there are a bit “uncomfortable” (according to my taste). Cold, dirty loudly and quickly when glass and cutlery are put down. It actually bothered me a bit. (Certainly a problem with kids too). But all in all a good location to recommend! Have fun and enjoy your meal!

I passed Kulimare by chance and was studying the menu outside when a family on the way to the restaurant immediately said that it was worth eating here. So I'm pure. A pleasant amount of staff who were attentive and on their toes delivered the really delicious pizza (from the stone or wood oven?) within a very short time. The menu is not overly crowded, but offers a good selection with many pizza variations, pasta, fish and meat. Prices are fair. Highly recommended!

I can only recommend the Kulimare! The food is super tasty, the selection is varied and you'll feel really full! The service 💁🏽‍♂️ is extremely friendly and very helpful if you have any questions. The ambience is very elegantly designed and just makes you fall in love. The roof terrace is the most beautiful ❤️ We always enjoy coming here. I give it more than 5 stars 🤩

This was my favourite restaurant when I used to travel frequently to Bad Rappenau for business trips and it is one of the best Italian restaurants I know. I hardly every ate pizza here, although it is good here. They have a big choice of pasta which they make perfectly and I was always looking forward to it. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They always found a place for me even if the restaurant was packed. And it was packed almost every time I visited it. I miss this restaurant.

Was in rehab in Bad Rappenau and ate at Kulimare several times. Very tasty...one of the best pizzas I've eaten so far! Price performance is also top!! Unfortunately too far from my home, otherwise I would be a regular guest😅 So it deserves 5 stars!!!

Apart from the ambience with poorly sealed windows and gas heaters in the dining room, the service was shockingly slow and disorientating; we repeatedly saw waiters wandering around with plates searching for the right table. My lasagne was good, but my husband's saltimbocca was swimming in an indefinable sauce that didn't belong here. Not in need of repeating!

Unfortunately, things have slowed down a lot in the last few months! Was our regular place. During our last visit we had the feeling that we weren't greeted very friendly. Were carelessly shown to the table. It took half an hour until we got the card. After another 20 minutes we were able to place our order. The food came after another hour! While eating it was noticeable that the portines are significantly smaller. With Parmigiana, the pasta was only a forkful, so you had to eat the meat without any side dish. The Italia salad was also significantly smaller. The pizza sticks are only half the size and less. But what was most disappointing was the unfriendly service. We had never experienced anything like this here before. We were really annoyed. If you go out to eat these days and spend 70 euros for two people, you expect great service. To pay we had to speak to an annoyed waitress three times. We were able to pay after 45 minutes. There was no liqueur on the house as usual. A pity...
