China Menu Restaurant in Wuppertal

Backstory. We was hungry. It was Saturday 20:00 and we just wanted to eat. I looked at the average 4.3 Google review but didn't look at the most recent reviews. We entered the restaurant. It was quite dirty. There was 1 couple eating. It doesn't look like a restaurant. Untidy. No tables set. The waitress appeared in shock that we decided to eat. The "menu" is online on a tablet which you semi order then hand to the waitress. We asked for a generic Chinese chicken meal with noodles / rice etc. I'm not a chef, but I could make it. We asked for a 1.5L bottle coca cola zero. After 45 minutes of no drink. No food. No prawn crackers,I asked the "chef" how long..."10 minutes". At this time, there was No other customers in the building. 1 Uber eats rider was arguing with the chef because he'd been waiting 30 minutes.. Another Uber eats had given up and left. we walked out. This restaurant has probably changed ownership. The 5* reviews have to be a for a previous restaurant. This place is awful for dine in, and from the Uber eats driver, awful for take away/delivery.

Waited almost 2 hours for delivery. The specified time was 25-45 minutes. There was sauce spread everywhere in the food, including the bananas. The lid wasn't on properly so everything could spread out nicely due to the driving style. A disaster in terms of taste. Neither spicy nor a little salty but pretty much everything was sweet. I've never eaten so badly in my life. It may have been busy because of the holiday, but we still paid almost 80 euros for an absolutely inferior meal. We ordered there today for the first time and definitely the last time.

The food was very good and the staff were very helpful. If you want to order via Lieferando, I can recommend that you call the restaurant after 40 minutes because the delivery person is very slow regardless of the restaurant and the owners don't know. My food or order was ready after 20 minutes and was only delivered 2 hours later due to the slow delivery person. I have to say that I only called after 1:40 but the owner was outraged and immediately inquired about the order, saying that, as I said, it was already ready a long time ago. The prices are also great. I hope the owners see this review and realize that the problem is the supplier!!

After a botched delivery, people asked if they could still eat the duck. After being asked to take his trash with him, the Uber driver simply left. Never, never again!

When I went into the restaurant, I was briefly shocked because it didn't look like a restaurant, but more like an open kitchen (disorder at the counter; pictures that weren't hung up; tables that weren't set, etc.). I still dared to sit down and place an order. The food itself was quite spicy, but otherwise really tasty. When it came to service, I saw that the waiter (probably the owner and possibly also the chef) made an effort, but seemed a bit overwhelmed, probably because most of the food is picked up and hardly anyone consumes the food on site. In addition, this person hardly speaks German, which is probably why some customers (at least according to some reviews) received an incorrect delivery. Furthermore, the whole atmosphere makes a somewhat dingy impression. On the other hand, the prices (of the very good food) are more than fair (I only paid EUR 11 for my menu; hot tea was included for free). Conclusion: If someone values ​​good (and cheap), authentic Chinese food, without attaching importance to special service or a special ambience, then this restaurant will be well served.

If I could, I would even give 0 stars. I had placed an order for pickup and, to my bad luck, only realized when I got home that I had the completely wrong dish. So I called them and agreed that I would get the right dish (for free) the next day. I was there as agreed and they didn't even give me half of the dish I ordered (which was also wrong). I ended up returning it and complaining. I wish I had asked for my money back because I spent almost €20, but unfortunately that didn't occur to me until later. I don't recommend this restaurant at all (the food wasn't the tastiest either, very little seasoning). The owners were still very nice, but I'm disappointed.

I was very disappointed when I ordered online yesterday for the requested time and received an email confirmation. Waited for an hour then called where our order was, the man on the phone who was barely able to speak German kept asking where was ordered where was ordered then hung up. We were called back shortly after saying our order had been forgotten. We used to always like to order there and it usually worked well, but when you get dumped like that, no thanks.

I do not recommend this place! The place is dirty and the waiting time is very long! You have to wait half an hour for the soup. Food is just oil, not Food!

Eating gave everyone who ordered stomach problems. And it wasn't the food we ordered that was brought. It's a shame it was actually delicious there before.

The shop is a bit hidden, but thank God I discovered it! We order there almost every week and are incredibly satisfied. The food is simply really well seasoned and is always a highlight of the week. This is definitely not a run-of-the-mill Asian snack bar.

Food is prepared differently every time - but always extremely tasty. Highly recommended (especially the house specialties)! The atmosphere in the store is a bit sad.

So unfortunately I can't understand the positive recessions. We ordered food to take away and we often go out for Asian food, but our curry really didn't taste good. Also, I ordered crispy chicken and got regular chicken. Unfortunately we were disappointed.

Sehr lecker, sehr freundlich. Selten so gut chinesisch gegessen. Ich hatte die S1, das Sesam-Huhn. Vor Glück vergessen ein Foto zu machen🤤🤩

Gutes Essen, schnell geliefert. Lassen Tracking zu, was heißt, man weiß auch wirklich wann das Essen kommt, wenn es kommt. Was ich persönlich gut finde: Essen kommt in wiederverschließbaren Plastikschalen. Immerhin kein Alu oder PS-Schaum und man kann sie selbst noch ein paar Mal benutzen, bevor man sie ins Recycling gibt.

This has now become a staple for me. The Sichuan duck and the chicken thighs with chilli and onion are my favorites on the menu. They even cook other Chinese dishes on request. We tried their mapo tofu and it was good, would definitely try the twice cooked pork the next time. This is probably the only authentic Chinese kitchen in Wuppertal The prices are fair and the portions are quite big. The staff is also very nice and friendly.

Authentic Chinese food. Exactly what we were looking for. Their Sichuan dishes are really good.

很好吃！感觉在欧洲留学一年以来吃到的最好吃的中餐馆！点的回锅肉、辣子鸡的分量很足，很下饭，吃的很爽。酸辣白菜也很棒！而且价格不贵，一个荤菜十欧多点，蔬菜不到十欧，性价比很高。点菜的话是用微信扫码点的，可以看到图片。隔壁还有REWE，吃完饭可以顺便逛个超市。

Habe gerade etwas zum abholen bestellt. Bin selbst Chinese und muss sagen, dass es die beste Chinesische Küche in Wuppertal ist. Wenn in Wuppertal asiatisches Essen, dann hier.

Eigentlich leckeres Essen, aber es wurde wiederholt der Reis nicht mitgeliefert, und dieser wurde erst nach zwei Anrufen und 40 Minuten später geliefert.

Also das Essen ist Superklasse.Die Leute fangen erst an.Aber man solte solche Leute unterstützen.

Bin begeistert. Die gewürz Palette ist näher echten chinesischen Essen als üblichen china imbiss/Restaurants. Sie Scheinen auch eine Spezialitäten Karte, werde ich auch jedenfall nächste mal probieren! Noch ist einen geheim Tipp!

Das erste Mahl, exzellente Küche. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Wir haben spontan vor ein paar Tagen bestellt und waren sehr positiv überrascht. Nicht nur sehr nette Leute auch das Essen war hervorragend und reichlich. Es schmeckt nicht wie so oft nur nach Glutamat und einfach übertrieben salzig oder fettig sondern wirklich richtig richtig gut. Von uns eine klare Empfehlung und wir kommen gerne wieder.

So viele Sterne gibt es nicht die ich gerne geben möchte. 5 sind noch zu wenig. Essen sau lecker und zum guten Preis.

Megaaaaa lecker. Fragt nach typisch chinesischen Gerichten, die nicht auf der üblichen Karte stehen. Wir sind recht kritisch, was gutes echtes chinesisches Essen angeht, aber hier sehr begeistert. Personal ist auch sehr nett und um die Kundenessenswünsche äußerst bemüht. Unsere Neuentdeckung!! Sehr zu empfehlen!

Haben während dem Lock Down schon häufiger liefern lassen. Klappt optimal und ist wirklich sehr lecker.

Leckeres und authentisches chinesisches Essen :)

Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Es ist allerdings ein wenig skuril und vielleicht nicht für jeden etwas. Die Selbstbedienung bei den Getränken irritiert etwas und dem Eingangsbereich fehlt es an Gestaltung, insgesamt ist das Ambiente verbesserungswürdig. Der Feuertopf ist aber toll, die Auswahl der Zutaten sehr gut. Wir hatten einen interessanten Abend und haben gut gegessen.

I would like to give 4 stars, because it seems to be a nice normal Chinese restaurant.. nothing extremly catchy, but that's almost a bad rating today AND that's the thing I liked here the most: it's feels pretty authentic & normal. So come here to enjoy a bit of Chinese atmosphere and have some tasty meals. I had the pig goulash and it was nice.

Extrem lecker, alles sehr frisch und köstlich. Getränke und Saucen holt man sich selbst, Essen wird (reichlich) gebracht. Toll, dass es so etwas in Wuppertal gibt!

Wow, der beste hot pot den ich bisher genießen durfte. Ambiente just like in China. Auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung. Wir werden definitv öfter kommen!
