I checked the review before going here. Food is good but the waitress serves is terrible. I have to apologize because I can hear her. And the serving is slow. If you expect something, don’t bother to come.

From the Buda welcome at the entrance to the restaurant that is frequented by Chinese, the lunch menu is great and the meals substantial. Good value and excellent tastes.

An absolutely great Chinese restaurant! The dumplings were a real treat. Nice and juicy and perfectly seasoned. I also really enjoyed the wonton soup, it was full of flavor and very fresh. I would particularly like to highlight the Mapo Tofu, it was simply fantastic! The perfect balance of flavors, just the right amount of spicy and super authentic. Clear recommendation for anyone who loves good Chinese food!

I went here for a treat to end my trip, I would like to note that the waiter spoke and understood me perfectly. I ordered singapore noodles without the beef, she clearly wrote no beef and underlined it, she showed me the paper. I do not eat beef for religious reasons. I asked for there to be chicken added instead of beef. She clarified it would still be the same price, I said that would be fine. When the meal arrived the meat looked suspicious but I ate some thinking it might be pork , it definitely wasn't. The same waiter came to collect the plate at the end and asked if I didn't like it, I asked what the meat was and she said 'chicken, beef, pork and shrimp'. I said I clearly asked for no beef and she chastised me and said "next time say no beef or ask for no meat". This wasn't a language barrier. We communicated perfectly. I don't appreciate the blame being put on me like I did something wrong with my order, lucky I didn't have an allergy. Now I've spent the last night in my hotel feeling sick and throwing up. I haven't eaten beef for over a decade.

The food tastes decent. The lunch menu is cheap. But if a pensioner at the next table orders the duck, then has to pay for the duck from the menu and the waitress tells her that it was her own fault because she didn't explicitly order from the lunch menu instead of apologizing, that is outrageous and a joke. I'll eat somewhere else in the future.

Wait service was fine but the food was very bland. Even the sweet and sour sauce served with many dishes left me wanting to add something to it. They also charged extra for the sauce. Yes, stay away from the tofu. They used a lot of basic brown sauce…needed some Chinese oomph! Prawns are actually shrimp size too. Appetizer specialty -china plate was full of cornstarch and flour breading over the toothpick thin crab claw and shrimp balls.

The food, dishes, etc. are really authentic and delicious. People are very satisfied in Germany 😜 Chicken with saliva, stir-fried snow peas with bacon, fried beef with green onions, and the famous Mapo Tofu. The tofu is really smooth and the overall taste is really good 😋 Chinese staff are friendly ❤️ The lights in the restaurant are a bit dim and it’s a bit dazzling during dinner. The boss might consider adding some lights, haha

Went here solo for dinner. Got there just as a coach was arriving but was seated in what was already pretty busy. Normally at a place like this I'd want to be in a group so we could order a mix of dishes to share. As I'm in Berlin solo at the moment I ordered a cucumber salad first (I was going to order some dumplings but the wait for them would be 30 mins) and my go-to MaPo Tofu (with pork) alongside steamed rice. The salad was delicious and fresh. The MaPo Tofu had a small kick, not quite the intense spiciness and numbing-ness (from Sichuan peppercorns) that you'd get from a Sichuanese specialist restaurant, but still at an ok level (perhaps driven by local tastes) and not too watery like you get with some adaptations I've experienced in London Chinatown. The portion was far too big for one person but not wanting to waste I enjoyed the whole meal. The menu was full of traditional Chinese dishes so a definite recommendation for anyone wanting proper Chinese food.

A great local neighbourhood Chinese restaurant with great decor , plenty of room, attentive staff and really cracking food. We dined here twice in 5 nights. The duck was a hit as was the fish dishes and the Vegan ones too. Danke !

We discovered this restaurant by chance on our trip and went in for lunch. The ambience is calm and typical. Food is what attracted us here. Checked the menu and ordered the Nasi Goreng (mixed fried rice) from the daily lunch menu. It comes with a side - we chose the hot and sour soup, it was delicious - and the spring rolls which were okay. The other dish was Beef fry with caramelised onions and it was pretty good. Picked up some food the next day as well and we weren't disappointed. Service is normal, takeway was packed very well too and fast.

The food was brought relatively quickly. Unfortunately my baked chicken wasn't cooked enough for me to eat it. The whole dish (fried noodles and baked chicken) didn't suit my taste. According to her, my companion's food met her expectations and tasted good. Therefore 3 stars.

Won’t revisit. The service level in general is bad. There’s a waitress (fat) being so rude and showing long face when I asked the difference in paying cash or credit card ( as they asked me for the means of payment right after I order the food from menu, and food not even delivered to the table). I was surprised by this and I tried to ask the difference between this. The waitress (fat, in compare to other waitress) was giving such a serious long face. I couldn’t believe the restaurant could hire someone like this to serve customers.

A wonderful experience! Before heading to the stadium for the quarterfinal, we went to this restaurant for a proper Chinese dinner. A really authentic restaurant with friendly staff who actually suggested we may have ordered too much! Highly recommend this place for a night out or just a casual dinning.

A great Chinese restaurant in this neighborhood. Everything was delicious, especially the noodles made of potato starch dipped in sesame sauce with fresh cucumber slices. The service was very kind. The waitress brought a bowl of water for the dog and everything was great.

The soup was cold, upon request the waitress brought it again but this time the soup was still not warm, just the bowl. Service wasn't that pleasant either, as we were only served grimly. I won't do it to myself a second time.

Nice atmosphere, bad service and tasteless food. I'm wondering how they manage to make a sour-sweet sauce taste as nothing, even the meat was tasteless. I've ordered a pork dish that had more pineapples then anything else. I don't recommend it.

Somehow I missed the intense China flavours. I tried some beef, aubergine. But I was expecting more tasty food.

The waitresses very friendly and helpful. The food is good. Every time I go to Berlin I reserve a night to have dinner there. Good ubication.

We had two different duck dishes that were "okay". Given the expectations based on the price, they were not convincing. The sauces lacked flavor and the duck was crispy like you would expect from the average Asian snack bar. With prices between 19.80 - 20.80 per dish, we expected an authentically seasoned dish like we know from comparable restaurants. The service was definitely exemplary. Fast, friendly and careful.

Servers were unfriendly and slow. Nice looking empty tables at window with candle are only there to tempt you in, you are then told the table is reserved. Food was bland, tasteless and unauthentic, although looking at the menu we expected it to be quite authentic with dim sum offerings etc. Definitely would NOT recommend.

I've been eating here 3-4 times a month for more than 15 years and never for lunch. The duck is great, the farmer's pot with beef, the pork stomach, etc. etc. I often travel to Asia on vacation, no food stalls, but upscale Chinese cuisine

I had nasi goreng, and I think the price was around 11-12 euros. The store is large and has lots of seating, so it's a good place to eat with a group. Compared to other Chinese restaurants, I felt the price was about 2-3 euros more expensive, but the portions were large and delicious. It would be a good idea to go with 3-4 people and order several dishes to share! The nasi goreng was well seasoned and delicious, but I was a little disappointed that the shrimp were small cocktail shrimp. (It tastes better if you sprinkle a little bit of chili oil on it!)

I highly recommend this place, and definitely will return here, when will be the next time in Berlin. Food was very delicious (we have taken noodles dishes: #89, 91, 92), and it was prepared and served quite fast. We have got cookies with wishes as a present after our dinner. Thanks for a good service and atmosphere!

Ordered food there. Unfortunately the rice was forgotten. They were very unfriendly and rude to me on the phone and said I could pick up the rice myself.

Food is way too expensive for the portion. It’s cheaper to buy the big menus with several dishes than ordering it alone.

I really enjoyed the visit to China-City and would recommend a visit if you are in the area. The food was really tasty, although my highlight was the soup. There are authentic Chinese dishes and it's nice to try things out. I deducted one star because I found the price for some individual dishes such as sugar snap peas to be too high given the portion size. Otherwise the staff was very nice and the restaurant is nicely decorated

The wonton soup was very good. 🍵 The fried shrimp were slightly burnt. 🍤🔥 The fried noodles were too oily and the crispy chicken was very tasty! 🐔 Service was good but a little slow. The atmosphere and ambience was nice. 🎋🎏 However, the quality of the food is more reminiscent of a snack bar than a restaurant. ☹

A very good Chinese restaurant that I discovered while staying at the hotel next door. The food is fantastic (I can highly recommend tofu with three types of meat), the atmosphere is cozy, and the service is very friendly and accommodating. The prices are also fair.

I would give 10 stars if I could. The place is cozy and the staff and service very nice. The food is amazing. Like home cooked asian dishes but more elevated. Go and order item 754 to eat with steamed rice, thank me later.

A permanent institution in Mitte for over 30 years. I have known the restaurant since my childhood and was last there today (January 14, 2024) - as usual as part of a family birthday. It is a great Chinese restaurant then as now. The prices are absolutely commensurate with the really good quality and the portion size. The service is always very good and the 1€ for disposable containers is also okay - given rising prices, costs and environmental concerns, it's fair - after all, you can easily bring your own containers ;-)

Service was great and friendly happy staffs. Good and very tasty Chinese food. I had my first Chinese beer here, it was ok. Spacious seating area inside with king size tables and chairs. The atmosphere was great. Extremely recommend.

We went to celebrate my son’s birthday as we saw a lot of people dining there the previous night. It was unequivocally the worst meal of our entire lives, tasteless, seeped in oil, inedible. We paid in full rather than causing a scene, and we all left without eating more than a tablespoon each.

You must get the duck! Takes about 1hr (but ask first) but it’s absolutely worth it. You might have to order 24 in advance for 4 people meal. Really good service, really amazing at taking photos and the food is good.

VORSICHT GEFÄHRLICH! BECAREFUL DANGEROUS!! Ich war vor einigen Jahren am 10.08.2019 um 19 Uhr in diesem chinesischen Restaurant essen. Ich bestellte als Vorspeise Frühlingsrolle und meine Frau gebratene Wan Tan. Als Nachspeise hatte ich Nudelsuppe mit Wan Tan und meine Frau Hänchen. Alles soweit so gut. Die Vorspeise war ok, nur die Bedienung war nicht besonders freundlich. Zu meiner Frühlingsrolle gab es keine einzige Sauce. Wir waren noch nicht mit der Vorspeise fertig da wurde mir schon die Nudelsuppe als Hauptspeise gebracht. Bei Hänchen meiner Frau stand nichts von scharfer Sauce und sie hat ihre Hauptspeise bekommen mit scharfer Sauce. Dazu kommt noch dass ihre Hauptspeise ohne Wärmegerät gebracht wurde, obwohl es bei allen Chinesen üblich ist, weil das Essen schnell kalt werden kann. DOCH JETZT KOMMT'S: Als ich meine Suppe aß bemerkte ich beim kauen eines Wan Tans etwas sehr hartes zwischen den Zähnen. Erst dachte ich an einen Knorpel, doch als ich das Essen in eine Servierte ausspuckte bemerkte ich einen kleinen Metallnagel mit Stück Plastik!!!! Ich rief die Bedienung und diese meinte "wir sind hier schon 30 Jahre und uns ist soetwas noch nie passiert". In anderen Worten soll ich also diesen Nagel in die Servierte gelegt haben nachdem ich das Essen ausgespuckt habe?! Beim bezahlen kam der Chef und hat sich nicht Mal entschuldigt! Er hat nur meine Suppe storniert und den Rest mussten wir bezahlen inklusive Getränke. Gott ist mein Zeuge und ich schwöre auf mich, dass in dem Essen ein Metallnagel war mit gelben Plastik drin. Die Aussage der Bedienung dazu war "ihnen ist nichts passiert, also ist doch alles gut". Ich hoffe, dass das zuständige Lebensmittelamt hellhörig wird und das Essen dort Mal genauer prüft, besonders was die Wan Tans angeht, denn so kann es passieren dass der eine oder andere im Krankenhaus landet! Was mich besonders sauer gemacht ist die Haltung des Personals gegenüber dem Gast. Sie haben mich nicht ernst genommen, sondern nur belächelt, obwohl in so einer Situation die Wan Tans aus dem Verkauf zu nehmen oder zumindest nach weiteren Nägeln zu überprüfen die richtige Handlung gewesen wäre. Nie wieder !!!!

Een leuk Chinees restaurant met veel plaats. We werden hoogst vriendelijk ontvangen en kregen en tafel. De bediening is zeer vriendelijk en vlot. Over het eten ook niks anders dan lovende woorden, gewoon echt lekker met heerlijke kruidige smaken!! Zeker een aanrader

It's a great Chinese restaurant between Spittelmarkt and Stadmitte. Service was great, food was tasty and the portions were huge. I went with my colleagues from the office and we had a great time there. The restaurant also has many tables although, it's a good idea to book one before. Prices are a bit on the higher side but, considering the location and the quantity/quality, I have no complaints. They also have a daily menu (much cheaper price) which comes with a hot and sour soup or spring rolls and it's available only Monday-Friday during lunch hours (12:00-16:00). Overall, I had a nice experience and will recommend others too.

Das Essen hat mir überhaupt nicht geschmeckt. Garnelen sind ekelhaft gekocht, Fischfilet ist rissig (auf der Speisekarte steht nicht, dass es sich um Pangasius handelt) Salate sind geschmacklos. Das einzig Leckere war der Karpfen. Das Geschirr und Besteck lässt zu wünschen übrig. Martinis wurden in Gläsern gebracht.

Alles schmeckt sehr gut, große Portionen und ja die Preise sind gestiegen, wie überall auch. UPDATE Essen immer boch sehr gut. Allerdings wartet man ewig auf Bedienung und sogar das kann man verkraften. Allerdings ist es eine bodenlose Frechheit fuer Verpackung beim Mitnehmen vin Essen 1 Euro extra zu verlangen. Reis verpacken sie in eine Schale und Fleisch in die andere fuer 2 Euro gesamt, als ob man Essen außerhalb des Hauses bestellt. Schlimm ist es auch noch Kunden anzuluegen und zu behaupten wir machen das seit fast 6 Monaten und dabeibzu ignorieren, wenn man sagt, dass man sehr oft da war und nie dafuer extra zahlte nich weiter zu beluegen und zu sagen' das war bestimmt auf der Rechnung". Also so dreißt muss man echt sein um Gewinnmaximierung zu betreiben. Na von mir aus, da gab es halt kein Trinkgeld und war noch guenstiger dabei fuer uns. Also Service no go, werden wir nicht mehr kommen.

Essen ist OK, mehr aber auch nicht. Ungewöhnlich fade. Vielleicht lag es am Mittagstisch. Preislich normal. Service super Nett!

Die immer erstaunlich hohe Anzahl an asiatischen Gästen ist ein gewisses Indiz für Authentizität.

Absolut klassisches Chinesisches Restaurant. Preise und Atmosphäre auf einfachem Mal-eben-was-Essen Niveau. Personal freundlich und schnell. Auswahl beim Essen sehr groß (fast etwas zu groß), Qualität war wirklich sehr gut.

Ich war erst skeptisch, aber ich wurde positiv überrascht. Es war sehr lecker..sevice echt aufmerksam.

Los noodles de pollo muy buenos, pero el plato mixto china-city llevaba dos muslitos de cangrejo que el rebozado se destrozaba y la textura de lo interior parecía goma. Los mini rollitos de primavera de ese plato también estaban blandos. Cómo si llevarán días preparados.
