DON'T GO!!!!!!! After eating there, I felt completely nauseous that evening. That same night, I vomited over 10 times. I almost ended up in the hospital. The worst case of food poisoning I've ever had in my life. The health department should definitely keep an eye on this.

ChiKing offers a wide selection of Korean fried chicken. We tried the garlic soy chicken and the yangnyum chicken. Both tasted okay, but unfortunately, they couldn't compare to authentic Korean fried chicken. The pickled radish deserves special mention. It was really good! The tteokbokki, on the other hand, were rather mediocre. The prices are generally a bit high, so if you're looking to save money, you might want to opt for the lunch special. The ambiance is simple and more reminiscent of a classic fast-food joint. The service was fast, but the language skills were a bit limited at times.

The food was tasty and good. They deli ered it quite fast given the number of guests sitting at that time. Chicken was halal certified as posted also on their wall.

Absolutely none of the food was fresh... We were there as a group at lunch and were totally disappointed. Firstly, our glasses weren't clean... You could still see lipstick residue from the previous customer. Among other things, everything was served lukewarm. However, nothing topped the chicken. It literally tasted rotten; I think we were served old, bad chicken. We won't be coming back here.

It's not tasty and not friendly. Foreigners may be satisfied if they go there, but it's not for Koreans' taste. It's not salted at all and the seasoning is not right. It's not worth even one star. I won't go there again!!!

The chicken was small and dry. The frozen fries and coleslaw from Aldi were completely unseasoned. The salad was unwashed and gritty with bad dressing. Soju is cheaper than at any other store, and this place is definitely a good place to drink. But eating out has become increasingly expensive everywhere anyway, so it's unfair to sell 70% of Aldi frozen food that's poorly prepared. There are much better alternatives for chicken in Frankfurt.

Insanely delicious Korean fried chicken! The best I've ever eaten.

Don't be fooled by the pictures, the food was not only tasteless, but also the garbage part of the chicken. I can confidently say that KFC is 10x better in taste and quality.

I've had diarrhea since eating there (two days ago), and it's not just me. The other people I ate with have the same problem. Furthermore, the service lacks the competence to provide simple service or communicate with customers. I will never eat there again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The food is delicious and we ordered a bit more, but I noticed that the chicken was spoiled. I ate a few pieces and, when I took a bite of a larger piece, I noticed that it was black with a slight green tinge. When we asked the waiter why it was black, he ultimately just said that the kitchen didn't know why the chicken looked that way. I opened several pieces and saw it in several of them. So I wouldn't recommend this place anymore, especially because many people come here with their children and then they get spoiled meat that was simply fried so it wasn't noticeable. It's a disgrace that they act like they have no idea why it's black and then make us pay full price. If you want clean, fresh food where you won't get food poisoning, don't go here.

I haven't eaten this well in a long time! Drinks came after a minute, then we thought, "Okay, let's just wait 10 minutes for our food until everything is ready," because there were three of us. Our food was ready after two minutes. The server was super nice, it was very, very tasty (one large pan fed three people), and the price was completely reasonable. Even if I weren't from Bielefeld, I'd come back again in a heartbeat. I got a little emotional while eating it, it was so good.

Unfortunately, we fell for the TikTok hype. The fried chicken consists of at least 70% breading and 30% meat, and there's no meat in any of the bites. This is, of course, also a way to cut costs. The smallest size, "Medium," is WAY too big; there should definitely be smaller sizes so you can try other varieties... The coleslaw is quite sweet and sour, but that was a good thing considering all the breadcrumbs on the chicken. The service and ambiance are also just "not bad," nothing more. Unfortunately, a disappointment; I don't recommend it. PS: Our entire meal was ready in under 3 minutes. It looked good at first glance, but very worrying at second glance.

I recently went to Chicking in Frankfurt with a large group and I'm absolutely thrilled! The food was amazing – the meat was juicy and arrived perfectly warm. The sauces were also delicious, and there was a wide selection. Everything worked out wonderfully, even with a larger group. The staff had everything under control. And even though it was quite busy, we hardly had to wait, as everything arrived very quickly. The prices are also absolutely reasonable, which makes it even better. I can wholeheartedly recommend Chicking in Frankfurt and will definitely be back!

The food is super delicious. It's good value for money, and the portions are definitely filling. The surroundings in front of the restaurant take some getting used to, as there are a lot of junkies and beggars. Unfortunately, the owner has no control over this; the city of Frankfurt needs to do something about it.

As a lover of good Chicken, I do have to say that ChiKing City has become one of my go to places to drop in any time and have some delicious chicken😋 It's just no fuss, well-made, great food and well worth a visit. Funny enough my first visit was all the way back in 2023, and just as I enjoyed it then, I have been enjoying it until now.⭐ My favorites on the menu are the Green Onion Soy, Snow Cheese and Yangnyum Chicken. My go to dishes everytime I visit! With regards to service, the speed of service is always quite impressive. I don't think there has ever been a time where I have waited for more than 25 minutes for the food to come. The staff are very welcoming and accommodating so there has never been any issues there. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed, so there is no need to think about dress code or anything as you can go as you are. It's a great spot to just sit down with company, chat and eat. There is both indoor and outdoor seating and it can get pretty busy at times, but for the most part, I've always found a place to sit. I have also never needed to book in advance, so that's also been a plus. All in all, a clear recommendation and a spot to try at least once for everyone who likes / is interested in Korean fried chicken.  🍗😋

It was very disappointing! Each dish was at least 70% breading and very little chicken. The flavor was basically nonexistent. The sauce just floated to the bottom, but the chicken pieces weren't coated in it beforehand or anything like that. Accordingly, none of it touched the chicken. The chicken pieces felt like they had been deep-fried at least 10 times. So, a complete waste of money.

Delicious food, but a bit pricey. Chicken with a completely different twist. I had a long drive, and it wasn't really worth it.

Two years ago, I ate here with a couple of friends and we absolutely loved the fried chicken here. It had that authentic, crispy bite and rich flavor that reminded us of the Korean fried chicken we used to enjoy back in Asia. But when I revisited the place again with my sister yesterday, we were so disappointed to see that the quality has changed. The sauce, the meat, the crust—everything tasted different. Maybe they switched up their ingredients or had a change in management—not sure—and unfortunately, it shows. Such a shame, though, because we really liked the fried chicken here and used to rave about it all the time. Food was still served promptly despite the full house.

Unfortunately it wasn't good, I had high hopes and often heard good things but unfortunately it wasn't. The food is ok but not something that I would go there again. The service was terrible they were very unfriendly and not welcome at all. You couldn't wash your hands in the toilets and had the decency to offer something like water to wash your hands. They were asked to eat with unwashed hands, which was really blatant and they didn't care about the customers' wishes at all and behaved as if they were just annoying and bothering them, which is absolutely not appropriate in a renowned restaurant. The atmosphere is like that of a kebab shop. Nothing bad but nothing special either. Overall, I would say that I cannot recommend this place and I would rather just recommend eating kebab or pizza.

Warning to everyone – an absolute failure at Chiking City Frankfurt! Our visit to Chiking City was an absolute disaster and I can only strongly advise anyone not to enter this store. We had to wait over an hour and a half for our food - with no apology, no information. The staff was extremely unfriendly, annoyed and completely overwhelmed. When the food finally came, the next shock: everything tasted terrible! The food was dripping with fat and smelled and tasted distinctly of old, rancid frying oil. Just disgusting. It was barely edible and smelled so unpleasant that you lost your appetite. But that's not all: a few hours after eating we had massive stomach cramps and nausea - clear signs of food poisoning. Something like that doesn't work! Hygiene seems to be an absolute foreign word in this store. Conclusion: Unfriendly staff, long waiting times, inedible and probably health-endangering food. I can only hope that the health department inspects this store soon. One thing is certain for us: never again Chiking City!

Food & Quality: The dishes are not only a real highlight in terms of taste, but also of excellent quality. Everything I ordered was freshly prepared, served hot and seasoned excellently. I would particularly like to emphasize the crispiness of the chicken – nice and crunchy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside. The side dishes such as rice, fries and vegetables were also perfectly coordinated and lovingly prepared. The portions are more than sufficient and definitely fill you up without being overwhelming. In addition, the food didn't take 10 minutes to arrive - after about 5-10 minutes my entire menu was ready and fresh in front of me. An impressive achievement for a fast food restaurant of this type! Service: The staff was very friendly, attentive and helpful. As soon as I entered I was greeted warmly, given good advice when ordering and all special requests were implemented without any problems. The processes were well organized, the team seemed well-coordinated and you had the feeling of being really welcome. Despite the rush, time was taken for each guest, which I found very pleasant. Prices: The prices are absolutely fair, especially when you take into account the portion sizes, quality and freshness of the ingredients. Never go. Listen to me. Please read until the end. Please look at the picture. That kind of chicken appears in the picture. It came out less than 5 minutes after I ordered it. Huh? I tried it, but the chicken was served at a level that we should pay for. It is not run by Koreans, but by people from other Asian countries. It's so tough and my jaw hurts. Hey, it would be okay if you go and try it in person, the old reviews are good, right? Don't even think about going. I need to quickly throw away more than 15 euros right now, but only those who say they have no place to throw it away should go.

I had enjoyed it since it first started at Everyday Plus, so even when it moved to Höchst, I thought it was the same place where I bought it even though it was a long distance away. The non-fried chicken they serve is not crispy, but hard, and it stands out clearly from the batter, and at the same time, the meat is so tough like jerky that it makes my jaw drop. If they sell this in Korea, it will be ruined right away. They put it in a container smaller than a side dish container without even filling it. This is a bit embarrassing for Korean chicken.

Overall, our visit to Chiking Frankfurt was an interesting experience with some ups and downs. Food (4.5/5 ⭐) We ordered Tteokbokki, Garlic Chicken, Yangnyeom Chicken and Yangyum Wings. The food was consistently delicious - the chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and had an intense flavor. The garlic chicken in particular had a great seasoning, and the yangyum chicken and yangyum wings impressed with their slightly sweet and spicy sauce. The wings were particularly juicy and well marinated. The tteokbokki (rice cake in spicy sauce) was also well prepared, although the sauce could have had a little more depth for our taste. Overall, the taste was very successful! Service (3/5 ⭐) Unfortunately, the service was less than convincing. Although nine of us each ordered a main course, we were only served three small coleslaws. When we politely asked whether it was possible to have salad for all guests, we received a rude and not very customer-friendly answer. Unfortunately, this somewhat spoiled the positive impression of the food. The restaurant has a modern, appealing atmosphere that fits well with Korean street food culture. The prices are fair for the quality of the food, although the service could have been much better to round out the entire experience. Conclusion Food great, service needs improvement! If you're in the mood for authentic, crispy Korean helal fried chicken, you're in good hands here. The Yangnyeom Wings in particular are a clear recommendation! We were here for lunch and took the lunch special. You can't complain about price performance, fair price and the quantity is decent. In terms of taste, the chicken was tasty, but perhaps a little too crispy for my taste. And the rice was a bit mushy. The restaurant is not run by Koreans, even though you might think so from the menu. In my opinion, the negative comments are exaggerated. You can easily go there for lunch. However, the influencer hype is completely exaggerated.

I CRACKED THE CODE GUYS CHICKEN: 600gr~ Bone-in, skin-on chicken pieces (thighs, drumsticks, breasts) remove bones. BRINE: 150ml cold water, 1 table spoon kosher salt, 3 table spoon sugar, aromatics, 2 table spoon powdered ginger, 2 table spoon powdered paprika, 2 table spoon powdered blavk pepper, 2 table spoon of powdered cumin, 1/2 pack of baking powder, 2 table spoon sugar, 2 tee spoon salt, 1 table spoon powdered oregano and dark soy sauce. Leave in Refridgerator overnight. Cover it with a thin layer of corn starch before putting it in wet batter. WET-BATTER: * 1/2 cups all-purpose flour. * 1/3 cup cornstarch. * 2 large egg whites only (beaten until foamy). * 200ml ice-cold sparkling water * 4-5 tablespoons vodka * 1,5 pack tablespoon baking powder. * 1 tablespoon powdered gelatin (bloomed in 1/4 cup cold water then melted, for extra durable crust) * 3 tablespoons sugar * 1 tea spoon salt * Seasoning for wet batter: 4 tablespoons paprika, 2 tablespoon garlic powder, 2 tablespoon onion powder, 2 teaspoon cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper to taste. (The wet batter should be thin add more water if its too thick) DRY COATING: * 1,5 cups all-purpose flour. * 1 cup cornstarch. * 2 table spoon cup powdered milk (for browning and flavor). Coat and press them. Shake before putting it in the oil. FRYING: * 4x Peanut oil * 1,5x beef tallow * Deep fry thermometer. FRYING: 5minutes in 175⁰C 4 minutes rest on the rack 2-3minutes in 200⁰C ENJOY!

Pero el pollo que se vende donde det y la masa ligeramente quemado. No es una buena experiencia y no entiendo la pelusa. No puedo recomendar.

I lived in Korea before and was craving spring onion chicken. I was disappointed. The batter was way too hard, they gave very little sauce which did not taste authentic, and some pieces tasted off, like the chicken being old and almost inedible. The only thing I enjoyed was the beer. Never again 😒

The chicken was our family favourite until end of 2024, but early 2025 we were here and the chicken was horrible. It was hard to chew and wasn't fresh at all. Just too much flour. The service was still very good though, quick and the waiters were all mostly friendly.

Danger! Hands off!! This is the first time I've rated a restaurant on Google with only one star. I just can't understand how you can deep fry a chicken like that. The chicken was "killed" twice. The first time it lost its life, the second time the taste was destroyed. It seems like it was stored for a long time and then fried again. We ordered four dishes. Three of them were very dry and tasteless. The Yangnyum chicken is just disgusting. The sauce tastes weird, and the “medium hot” version isn’t spicy at all. Despite the sauce, the chicken remains dry and tasteless. The coleslaw tastes like a cheap supermarket product - even ready-made products taste better. After a few bites we really wanted to vomit. We just don't understand how fried chicken can be made so poorly. It's just disgusting!
