It was my first time in ChiKing City and I have to say, everything was delicious. Tteokbokki tasted very good. Golden Fried and Soy Garlic Chicken also tasted delicious. The staff were also very friendly. I would really recommend it, overall I really liked everything.

A very crowded shop with many people waiting in line. The satff was nice and generally it was just way too full and loud, with tiny distance between tables, so it was not comfortable at all. As to the chicken itself, we only experienced deep disappointment. The meat was too dry and covered with too much fry powder.

While eating, steel wool came out...

Absolute recommendation. I don't know what could be done better. The Korean Fried Chicken is super tasty - crispy, juicy and a very generous portion. Not too greasy or anything like that at all. It was honestly some of the best fried chicken I've ever eaten. The service is quick and attentive and the food is on the table extremely quickly. You wait at the entrance until you are assigned a seat - the table is cleaned and off you go. Of course it's not a "fine dining experience" - but the ambience is right and you feel comfortable. I'll definitely come back.

I was there for the first time today and the food was great! Prices very humane! Luckily for us, we still have the lunch menu.

I rarely give 5 stars, but this place deserves all 5. It was a wonderful discovery for us. We are becoming passionate about Korean cuisine, and we wanted to try fried chicken for the first time. There was no better place than this. Everything is handmade and really delicious. The staff is very friendly and kind. The prices are really great and worth it. We will definitely be back very soon!

Man kann auch die Sauce extra bekommen. Das ist gut, weil so die knusprige Panade nicht durchweicht. Auch im Test einmal eine andere Sauce (hier mit den Frühlingszwiebeln), aber irgenendwie schmeckt es am Besten ganz ohne Sauce. Der Krautsalat war sehr sauer. Immer sehr freundliches Personal

Became aware of this through the YouTuber Bernd Zehner. The Korean fried chicken is "abnormal"! So solid crunchy and soft and juicy on the inside! I ordered a small portion and medium hot... the portion was decent, I almost couldn't have done more and medium hot numbed my mouth quite a bit, and I often eat spicy food. The restaurant is decorated quite soberly, the only drawback in my opinion, maybe a little more Korean flair, but a sensation in terms of price and cuisine. Will definitely go again!

There may be better chicken in my dreams, but not in Frankfurt! Unassuming from both the outside and the inside, Korean Fried Chicken joint Chiking City serves large portions of perfectly seasoned chicken pieces. The service is very attentive. When my friend dropped a chopstick from the table, a replacement arrived within seconds without asking. I have been a guest here several times and each time I have been impressed by Chiking's taste. The chicken is nice and juicy and the breading is crispy. The sauce is flavorful and never too spicy (which you might expect from Koreans!) The portions are really big and therefore quite affordable. In my opinion, however, the lunch menu is a bit lean due to the significantly smaller portion.

Green onion soy chicken and Yangnyum chicken (very spicy) are the best order combination. The umami, sweet sauce and freshness from green onion couldn’t be any better. And the spiciness of Yangnyum completes the whole meal. Be ready for some queues during peak hours.

A "Korean" KFC, what a great idea. The food was very tasty and spicy here also means “German spicy”😉 The lunch menus are relatively cheap and the quantity, good for me, too much for others and so on. Just try it yourself. Gladly again.

We went there on our last day in Frankfurt and can only recommend eating here! We got the number 5 and 6 as well as the bong bon grape juice and they were delicious! The portion was a bit big so we didn't finish it but they gave us a box to take it with us! Really awesome 👍🏻 It was clean and the servers were nice 🙏🏻

A rustic restaurant. That food tasted good. The staff was friendly. There is a vibe like a dingy kiosk.

We were there with a group of 5 for lunch at around 1 p.m. Even though the restaurant was very busy, the service and staff were excellent, very polite and quick. The food itself was also a pure taste explosion and the value for money of the lunch menu was hard to beat. We will definitely visit the restaurant again in the near future!!

Delicious HALAL Korean Fried Chicken. Menu 2-4 were all very tasty. The lunch menu is very inexpensive and has lots of side dishes and drinks. Very friendly service. The ambience is so well because of the train station and the sparse interior, but you come because of the food so overall for me it's a 9/10.

This Chinese man doesn't let anyone make excuses, I say medium hot, the bra gives me hotspicy everyone and wants to justify something to me. I couldn't get out of the toilet for 3 hours

I ordered the chicken to be very spicy, but it was more mild spicy. The sauce and the flavor of the chicken was mid, other korean fried chicken restaurants in town offer better. Service was however very friendly and quick! We ordered take out and did not have to wait for long.

The worst food I’ve ever had at a restaurant, I was very hungry and happy as the food I ordered was here after five minutes of ordering, however the food was the chicken was the most dry chicken I’ve ever eaten, (and it hurt my teeth to eat it!!) when we asked for sauce multiple times it never came and the food was too cold to eat. The most dreadful experience and I wouldn’t recommend eating here

Fried chicken is mediocre but good enough if you do not know the difference in the sauce flavor. Good lunch option with chicken pieces and a variety of sides. The chicken itself is crispy and nice but lacking soul the sauce reveals that it is a Chinese/Korean approach.

I was looking for a halal Korean Fried Chicken restaurant for a really long time. We came especially from Siegen and were definitely not disappointed. The food was just so delicious!!! The chicken arrived at our table after just 5 minutes and was perfectly marinated on the outside and so juicy on the inside. I will definitely come by more often, it's really worth it despite the long journey.

Worth the price to share! The Mittel Scharf Yang Nyeom Fried Chicken were juicy and delicious, but for me personally Soy Garlic does it's job better Great ambience, friendly staff!

We went there on a Saturday evening and even if that was crowded we just had to wait less than 10 minutes. The waiters were super nice and the food arrived really quickly after we ordered. It's not too expensive and it was delicious and spicy!

Da ich mittlerweile die Hühnerteile des Colonels ein wenig satt habe und wir die knochenlosen Alternativen nicht so gut schmecken, bin ich froh, dass es diesen Laden gibt. Sehr schön wäre eine Alternative zu der scharfen roten Sauce. Ich finde es schade, dass man diese tolle Panade damit zerstört. Lieber etwas beiseite zum Reindippen. Geschmacklich wie immer toll

A pretty good place for korean chicken wings. But quite pricy (for my experience). Order the lunch menu so that you can try other food as well. My friends kinda like this place so I will not complain.

What can I say, I love fried chicken. We've been there twice now and I would have loved to try everything. You can't go there hungry. To. One of the best Korean fried chickens in Frankfurt. The pity is that it is in the central station area and it is always a bit ugly to get there. Still, the service is super fast and friendly and whenever we want to eat good chicken we go there.

Chi King, okay, I can eat this fried chicken everyday. As a person used to live in Munich, it was the best fried chicken I found in Germany so far. We ordered a medium size but it was enough amount as a late night meal especially with bier.

The food is incredibly tasty and the side dishes are delicious too. One serving is enough for two people. The prices are realistic. The only thing that has a small disadvantage is the spot, if you opened this restaurant in the Zeil it would be incredible. Highly recommended, a 10/10 I'm satisfied.🤩

The waitress didn't really understand what was boneless and what wasn't. The taste was ok, but for a restaurant that only focuses on chicken, I have to be honest, other Korean restaurants in the area have better. I was missing alternatives on the menu. One piece wasn't cooked through properly, which really disgusted me. I can't say anything good about the cleanliness of the kitchen and toilets. It's better to eat next door at the Chinese restaurant.

This Chiking Korean Fried Chicken shop is truly an asset to the Station District. All in all, very pleasant to sit in and the food is very tasty, crispy and really filling portions. Very crowded on weekends and at lunchtime, which shows that everything has to be fresh here, as there are a lot of customers. I particularly like the lunch menu: inexpensive and generous

I ate both fried food and seasoned chicken. The chicken had an odor, either because it wasn't fresh or because it wasn't seasoned properly. If it's Korean chicken, there should be chicken radish... but there's no chicken radish either. This is a Korean chicken restaurant run by a Chinese person. The service and atmosphere aren't bad, but the taste isn't guaranteed. There were a lot of foreign customers... I was worried that foreigners would think that Korean chicken tasted like that. BBQ near Galleria downtown or Schwalbak TNT BOOM chicken is the taste of the original Korean chicken.

Extremely delicious chicken. Here you can recommend pretty much everything without exception, but especially No. 2 with the spicy chicken. The portions are definitely generous and the size M is enough for two people who aren't completely starving.

The food was always very good, but the service left a lot to be desired. I'm traveling from another state and once I was told on the phone that a reservation wasn't necessary and the store was so full that I couldn't get a seat and another time they told me an hour before they closed that they were closing the kitchen have been available for a while. I hope that in terms of service they can match their food

Despite the small queue, we got there quickly, but you should expect that you might have to wait a while. You can and should only make reservations on weekends. 3 of us were there in Ramadan. The waiter asked on his own initiative whether the food should come to Iftar and that's what happened. There was coleslaw on the house and a date on the side. Very nice gesture and since the meat is Helal, it is a very Islam-friendly shop :D. No. 2 was absolutely delicious. No. 3 (Garlic), the sauce was quite tasty but it didn't stick well to the meat. That's why there was very little taste. It's best to just get number 1. Ttobokki were also good but we thought they were a bit more expensive for the portion. Rice was standard but went well. 100% worth a visit.

I have been to another Chiking and the food has always been good. I had chicken here last year and it tasted the same as other restaurants. Today, my husband brought home half fried chicken and half Yangnyum. First of all, the appearance was no longer fresh. The fried chicken was darker and less creepy than usual. I think they used something like water added to the dough. The most disappointing thing was the chicken. It was about going to be off. I was a cook. So I know. Because I didn't eat at the restaurant, I give service and atmosphere 4 stars.

I hadn't eaten such delicious chicken in a long time. But most of all I liked the service. A restaurant I will visit more often in the future.

Mega Korean Fried Chicken! Really delicious fried chicken with a well-seasoned sauce. The service is friendly and super fast. The decor is a bit rougher, the focus is 100% on the chicken, which fits.
