ChickNick's in Bad Säckingen

We waited an hour for our food. The chicken was dry, there was little meat, and it lacked juiciness. Besides the wait, we would like to see improved preparation and more juicy portions. Thank you.

An aging inn with lots of chicken decorations, reminiscent of Easter rather than a restaurant. We had made a reservation in advance by phone to check whether dogs were allowed in the restaurant. A very friendly lady said it wouldn't be a problem and promptly accepted the reservation. The menu is relatively extensive and consists exclusively of poultry products. The food was delicious, and the service was extremely friendly and accommodating. Since the restaurant was still relatively empty, I can't confirm the other reviews about the long wait and slow service. We were completely satisfied.

Eläänds long wait times! Even though the store is practically empty. We've tried it several times, both dine-in and pickup. You won't leave there without waiting less than 1.5-2 hours for some deep-fried food (chicken nuggets, fries, chicken). 👎

Really a great German Hänchen restaurant. Delicious food: it's a lot, tender and crispy and super friendly people. Really recommended if you are in the area.

It was my first time here - for years I'd just driven past, but now I finally had the chance to try the restaurant. And what can I say? It was absolutely worth it! The food was really tasty and well seasoned. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I also liked the facility – beautifully decorated and with a great atmosphere. I would definitely like to come back!

Always go to Nick's for food, the chicken is excellent with lots of flavor options for how he can season it, it's an eye's breadth to stop by. 👍👍👍👍👍

We were in the restaurant today with four people. Completely satisfied. Service was very friendly, food was top. There was nothing to complain about in terms of taste.

The chicken is really tasty and is offered in different seasonings. All taste good. Fries, chips or wedges can be served as a side dish, our favorites are fries or chips. The green salad dominates the mixed side salad, a little more variety would be nice. The service lady is friendly, the waiting time for lunch is short, the restaurant is clean.

We have been going to this restaurant regularly for several months and can only recommend it! When we come, we always have the big round regulars' table, which, as always, is full of food for four of us because we just never want to decide because everything is so delicious. The ambience is rustic and decorated with chicken figures. It totally fits the concept. The service is super friendly, very friendly and always helpful. She's always up for fun ☺️ When you go to Chick Nick's, you have to take your time because everything is always freshly prepared. That's why it takes some time. But it's worth the wait! If we could, we would give even more stars 🫶🏽

Chicken burgers were the best we've eaten in a long time. The fries and wedges were a little underseasoned and the fries could have been a little crispier. I will order again.

A great restaurant. It was nice and quiet, the service was very accommodating!!! Although there was a lot going on in the kitchen, we didn't feel like we had to wait long. The food was great!!! So we'd love to come back!!!

So for these prices I expected more paid chicken with bread to take away but bread was missing chicken half raw. The fries butter soft low salt both no not my thing sorry NO GO!!!

I'm coming to ChickNick's always when I'm local because of work. Good prices, good portions, tasty food. Sure, it is no high-end restaurant so don't expect fancy stuff. But it is always clean, and staff is friendly. Will for sure return.

We love eating at Chick Nicks. Not so locally. Because it always takes a long time to wait. And it's very dark inside and I think it could be decorated much nicer and more attractively for such great food. We often order home. But it is always very, very tasty. Have never been disappointed so far. But I would be happy if there was dessert. I've asked for it many times so far and it's always not there.

Das Restaurant wirkt schon in die Jahre gekommen. Das Essen ist super und der Service ebenfalls.

Ich gehe hier sehr gerne mit Freunden hin. Sehr leckeres Essen und viel Auswahl. Manchmal geht es etwas länger bis man sein Essen bekommt aber in guter Gesellschaft ist das nicht so schlimm :)

Sehr lecker, schön angerichtet, guter und freundlicher Service. Frisch gezapftes Bier. Fazit: Für mich an diesem Abend perfekt!

Die besten Hähnchen der Welt… Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich und man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Das Essen ist durch die Bank frisch und total lecker.

Haben den Geburtstag meiner Freundin hier gefeiert und waren alle sehr begeistert. Das Essen war super lecker und wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt.

Rustikales Restaurant mit netten Flair. Gute Essensauswahl, diverse Salate, Schnitzel Hähnchen und Hamburger Varianten. Insgesamt tolles Fingerfood Angebot. Super freundliches Personal! Alle Speisen sind im normalen Preisniveau trotz der Nähe zur Schweiz!

Als ich damals in SÄCKINGEN geboren wurde, hat meine Mama gesagt, „junge hier wird es niemals guten chicken geben“ (auf Polnisch) nach 22 Jahren kann ich stolz behaupten, Mama du liegst falsch. Ich sagte zu meiner Mama „Mama! dieser chicken hat mich religiös gemacht, das ist von Gott gesandt worden!!!1!“ AMEN 🙏🏼 Jetzt mal erst, es ist unglaublich lecker, die Bedienung und alles drumrum ist unglaublich, wenn ihr mal in Säckingen seid müsst ihr hier her.

Essen war super top so wie immer Service sehr nett und höflich . Das Ambiente war schön , überall ist das Thema Huhn aufgegriffen. Ein Besuch dort lohnt sich auf jeden Fall . Wir gehen gerne dort hin und es schmeckt groß und klein.

Dem Essen (Crispy Filet, Wedges, Chips) würde ich eine 4.6/5 geben. Die Service Dame war das Problem .. Nach dem Bestellen warteten wir 15 Minuten allein auf die Getränke, verdurstend... Vorher kam sie nochmal und fragte ob wir die Getränke schon bestellt haben, obwohl sie alles aufgeschrieben hat .. Weitere 20 Minuten später kam das Essen, das echt gut war und sehr heiss. Als wir dann bezahlen wollten, warteten wir alleine 10 Minuten bis Sie mitbekommen hat, das wir bezahlen wollen. Dann warteten wir wieder 15 Minuten bis wir einfach selber an die Theke gingen und bezahlt haben. Allgemein hatten wir auch beim bestellen verständigungs probleme, ein schweizer spricht "Filet" französisch aus und deswegen versteht sie es gleich nicht. Auch das wort "Wedges" war schwierig für sie ..

Gut bürgerlich sehr freundliche Bedienung. Zu Empfehlen sind die Hähnchen, ob normal, scharf gewürzt. Die besten Hähnchen die ich jemals auswärts gegessen habe.

Bien content car j'ai pu me garer le long de la rue. Accueil chaleureux et agréable. Repas succulent. J'ai mangé le poulet mi-piquant. La prochaine fois je prendrai la version plus piquante. Le concept séduit car il permet de commencer par le plat le moins piquant qui permet d'éviter les mauvaises surprises. J'ai surtout aimé le décor original. A recommander.

Sehr lecker und tolles Ambiente aber die Wartezeit ist unterirdisch und eine Zumutung alleine für ein Beilage Salat über 45 min. ! Aber ansonsten wirklich fein.

Super friendly staff (and English speaking too)! The half chicken (Chick Chick) is very nice while the fried chicken thigh (NFC Hähnchenteile) is even more stunning! Together with the tasty bread, it’s absolutely super for the price too! Highly recommended!

Von außen sehr unscheinbares Lokal, mit gemütlicher und stimmiger Atmosphäre. Die Karte ist sehr vielversprechend und bietet eine gute Auswahl für jeden. Die Portionen sind für den Preis super. Das Fleisch war sehr lecker und saftig, von den Gewürzen hätte es teils etwas mehr sein können. Die Soßen dazu waren gut, aber jetzt nichts megaaa besonderes! Trotzdem finden wir haben sie sich ihre 5 Sterne verdient da das Konzept und die Umsetzung sehr gut sind. Wir kommen gerne wieder und würden uns noch etwas durch die Karte testen!

Hier gibt es leckere und gut gewürzte Chickenwings. Die Soßen sind lecker. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Das essen ist mega fein. Gut gewürzt. Das Personal ist immer freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Hamburger sind gross (mein Sohn findet das in Ordnung), Schnitzel Omega fein sowie die Pommes und das halbe Hähnchen sin sehr fein gewesen. Wir kommen immer gern. Weiter so. PS Nachteil: Keik Parkplatz in der Nähe.
