Chicken House DAS ORIGINAL in Berlin

I ate there for the first time today with my son, and I have to say, even though you can't really go wrong, this was a complete disaster. The chicken was raw. I showed it to the employee, he noticed, asked if I still wanted the fries that were on the paper plate, and then never came back. After 20 minutes, we decided to leave. I also informed the cashier about the raw chicken, and he said he'd noticed it. No apology from anyone, no attempt at making it right. It was as if it were perfectly normal, like at a lottery ticket. The staff was incredibly incompetent and unfriendly, as if they didn't even breathe. The premises are uninviting, very cold, like a cafeteria, and the paper plates are reminiscent of something you'd find at a soup kitchen for the homeless. Sorry, but even one star would be too much. And I unfortunately cannot recommend this place to anyone. Luckily, there are several much better alternatives. I'm not just writing this out of disappointment; I hope For those who eat there regularly and have nothing to compare it to, it will be even better... Good luck!

I ordered the combo meal which included a half-chicken, fries, and a drink. Overall, it was a very satisfying experience. The chicken was cooked perfectly—it was incredibly tender and juicy on the inside. My only small criticism is that the skin was a bit too salty for my taste. The fries were excellent, super crispy and golden. A quick note on the sides: the salad pictured requires an additional €3, which is good to know beforehand. The restaurant has a few seating options available, and all the staff members were very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place, especially for the combo meal!

It was very tasty, large portion and great value for money.

We drove a long way just to get food here, and it was absolutely worth it! Everything was perfectly prepared over the phone, so we could take our food home right away. The chicken was double-wrapped and still nice and warm even after an hour. I haven't had such delicious chicken in a long time! The sauces were really good, and the salad was very fresh. The staff is incredibly friendly and always with a smile. An all-around fantastic experience; we'll definitely be back! 🍗😊

A particularly positive aspect: ketchup, mayo, and hot and sour sauce were given separately and for free – that's not something you can take for granted these days! 👏👏👏 Keep up the good work, I'm very satisfied and would love to come back! 😊 I wish they would replace the Coke, Fanta, and Sprite drinks they're boycotting. 🤲

Unfortunately, I have to give it one star. Salad, cucumbers, and tomatoes were old and rotten. After complaining, I exchanged them, but to no avail. The staff was very unfriendly. You pay money and expect to get something fresh. You notice that the boss isn't there.

Chicken tasted slightly burnt today. They weren't really cooked through like usual either. Hopefully next time it'll be like it used to be. But as always, the employees are very friendly.

The food is great, the service is super friendly. They serve you directly, and you always get free bread and sauce. The atmosphere is perfect. You can choose between inside and outside for meals. You can takeout or eat in. It's also very affordable and the quality is excellent.

When we first purchased two whole chickens, we received free bread and 3 sauces with our order. The chicken and, for us, the garlic sauce tasted best. Thank you for the friendly welcome and great products.

I think the meat is a 6.7/10, but the sauce and bread make a better impression, which is why you could eat there regularly.

Every six months we have a grilled chicken, but then from this shop, because here they have very tasty and meaty chickens and not the starving rubber eagles like in many other snack bars!
