We ordered the boneless chicken with garlic soy sauce and fries and were thrilled. The chicken was perfectly cooked – crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside – and the aromatic garlic soy sauce gave the dish a particularly delicious touch. It was clear that everything was freshly prepared with care. The fries were also excellent quality and complemented the chicken perfectly. The fresh, crisp coleslaw rounded off the meal beautifully. We especially want to commend the service, which was exactly what you'd hope for: attentive, friendly, and always with a smile. I'll definitely be back. Overall 8/10 👍🏾

probably the best Korean chicken in Berlin. recommend the super spicy sauce if you're into hot sauces. they moved into a more spacious place, yet the place is still packed. make a reservation before coming (latest 2pm for same day reservations).

So delicious! A fun place for a dinner for friends. Spicy sour sauce is my favourite, sweet chili also very good, soy garlic is a bit bland for my taste. Cucumber salad > cole slaw.

Best chicken I have ever ate and maybe best food I ate in my life. The service was great everytime I was there. They recently made their restaurant bigger. I hope they will be opening more places soon. The toilets had a beatiful design. Although it was a bit expensive everything else covers it.

The fries were cold. The server asked us how was the food and I said the fries were cold. He shrugged and said kind of sorry. That’s all. I wanted some retribution for the fact that half the meal was cold but I guess is not the vibe. The fries were cold.

it is overall good, the portions are very generous, but the place is very small and dark, it's suffocating. also the chicken always has some bad bits like cartilage, you need to chew carefully or spit some parts. not a pleasing eating experience, even if the taste is good

Chicken is very tasty. But it’s impossible to make online order during popular times. Even preorders got canceled half an hour before expected delivery. They need to better integrate with delivery services and better manage orders during peak times.

Absolutely disappointing! We weren't allowed in simply because we didn't have a ticket with us. Treating guests like that is truly rude and unprofessional – we certainly won't be coming back.

The food was tasty, plentiful, and the service was really quick. Just be aware that card payments and menus can be ordered via smartphone are allowed. It was good, but I'll never understand the hype surrounding it.

Konio is a great choice for Korean fried chicken. I love their spicy and soy garlic sauce. I have been there few times now and it doesn’t disappoint. They have now taken a bigger place with inside and outside seating thereby reducing the wait times.

This would have had higher stars if they hadn’t told us they needed the table so we couldn’t wait for our Bolt at our table. We’ve now been outside in the cold and rain waiting for 10 minutes and nobody is waiting for a table and ours is still sitting empty The server was pleasant but didn’t deserve the tip we left!! Food is tasty as long as you remember this is fried food! It’s very fried and lots of extra fried breading was easy to pick off.

One of the best Korean chicken places I've ever been to, and the vibe and service are on point. We got the boneless for two, with garlic and sweet chili, and it was seriously delicious and not too expensive. They have a good beer, cocktail, and liquor selection, and the outdoor seating is perfect for a few drinks after you're done eating. The service is also amazing, with super friendly staff. They totally deserve to do well. As for how busy it is, we went on a Friday afternoon and got lucky, getting a table as another group left, but I can see how you might have to wait a bit.

We happened upon this place by chance. It truly feels like Seoul! The service was super friendly. We had to put our names on a waitlist, but we were seated very quickly, despite the relatively long line! I highly recommend this restaurant!! They also have lovely ambient lighting in the restrooms 😊 We'd love to come back!

This is my favorite Korean fried chicken restaurant. I've been here a few times and have always enjoyed delicious meals—perfect when I want to treat myself. The chicken is juicy and the sauce is truly delicious; you can choose whether it's served separately or mixed directly with the chicken. The fries were a bit salty this time, but after I mentioned it to the staff, I was immediately given a new portion. I will definitely be back again.

Is it an Insta thing? Yes! Is the place packed? Definitively. Is the food good? By all means!!!! The "KFC" is crispy yummy, the seasonings are finger licking good. The fries are .... well, fries ;) you'll leave the place stuffed and happy, once you get a seat.

The food itself was very tasty, but the drinks were really expensive. A water costs 3.50?! You weren't even allowed to bring your own. It would also be better if you could pay in cash, as card payments sometimes don't work. Some of the waiters were really rude.

Absolutely fantastic! I shared the fried chicken for two people. And there was definitely enough for both of us. We also had the kimchi. Absolutely AMAZING! Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed dining at Kokio. The korean style fried chicken is flavorful and delicious. Servings are generous and worth the price. The ambience is also really modern and cool (even the WC was a highlight)! In the future, we’re hoping for more additions in the menu to pair with the chicken.

Fancy atmosphere with fried chicken specialties. Good, generous portions, but it's still just regular fried chicken and fries, but the sauces make all the difference. I recommend trying the dumplings, truly excellent and super filling! The prices are reasonable for the portions served.

The chicken had a great flavor, and the portions are quite large, so it's ideal for sharing. We ordered the spicy and sweet chili sauces. In our opinion, they're the best. They give you the option to taste the sauces before ordering in case you're unsure. They have Korean beers, which I recommend trying. I recommend making a reservation.

We arrived around 19:30 on a Sunday evening, and all the outdoor seats were already taken, so we grabbed the last available spot inside. Seeing the long line of locals waiting raised our expectations. We ordered boneless chicken with sweet chili and soy sauce, sharing it between two people, and it was more than enough to leave us full and satisfied. There were plenty of Korean dishes and drinks on the menu, but we skipped them since the prices were a bit high. Speaking as a Korean: this is some pretty authentic Korean fried chicken. The sweet chili sauce with peanuts tasted just like the kind I used to eat back home. I’ll definitely be coming back whenever I crave proper Korean fried chicken!

The food is amazing and the staff is so nice and friendly. The food also doesn't take more than 30 minutes to come out. They only take card, though.

My absolute favorite place for Korean fried chicken and tofu; it tastes incredibly good. I've never tasted anything so delicious. I'm usually disappointed by vegetarian Korean fried chicken options in restaurants, but at Kokio, it tastes absolutely amazing and especially good :)) I can also highly recommend the rice cakes as a topping.

I visited ‘KOKIO’ around July 5th. because I’d heard it was one of the popular chicken places in Berlin. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the start:( The wait time for to-go orders was extremely long, but I stayed patient, hoping the food would be worth it. When I finally got home, I realized they’d forgotten the fries that were supposed to come with the order. I tried to find a phone number on Google Maps to call them, but there was only an email address. so I ended up going back in person When I explained the situation to one of the male staff members, he didn’t apologize—in fact, his attitude came off a bit rude. I then spoke to another man, who said they couldn’t give a partial refund but would offer another side dish instead. I asked if I could use it on my next visit, and he said they’d send me an email to confirm That email never came What’s worse is that I had to go through all this trouble for their mistake, and I still ended up losing out. The chicken was dry and tough — not as good as I thought it would be. All in all, it was a really frustrating experience, and I have no intention of going back I don’t recommend this place!

If you are looking for the best chicken in Prenzlauer Berg try Chicken Coma. Kokio chicken was dry and bland.tbey are obviously batch cooking and keeping under heat lamps so it is just like a KFC. The fries are also frozen.. when all you do is chicken and fries that they can't do it well. I also didn't like that they wouldn't change the fries for something like kimchi. If you don't want fries they will give you more chicken..not all of us want to over eat! Giving the feedback to the staff member on the bland and dry chicken..he just smiled and walked off..so obviously wasnt really open for negative / constructive feedback. As mentioned before if you are looking for great fried chicken in Prenzlauer Berg, try Chicken Coma and skip Kokio.

When it comes to fried chicken KOKIO is one of the to go place. Delivery is good as well but I strongly recommend going to the restaurant.

The chicken was delicious, it might be appropriate to say that the sauces that could be ordered with it should not be poured on it. The toilet smelled and the lighting was inadequate. The tables were cramped. If there is no reservation, you have to wait, I don't think there is a need to wait spontaneously for this taste and environment. The food came in an average time, the price for the chicken menu for two and two drinks was 35€

worst chicken i have ever eaten also chicken was so soft not cripsy. Place temperature was so high they need to use air conditioning . Dont eat sweet chili sauce it was not chili only too much sweet

A very nice and authentic place. The food is very good – the boneless chicken is especially recommended (warning: it's really spicy here). However, you can't make reservations, and there's almost always a line. So, you'll need to allow some time.

The tofu is amazing and the sweet potato fries are delicious too, the staff is so cute and the portions are generous for not much money! 🫶🏻

I found the price to be a bit expensive compared to the amount of food. Other than that it's pretty good and you can't really go wrong here.

Excellent fried chicken, felt treated like home!

I’ve been coming here for years now and the food has remained delicious. I was also happy to see that the restaurant has expanded a bit, as it was always packed and had a huge waitlist. Now with the new space I hope that wont happen as much anymore (although the restaurant is so popular I can see it happen still) . I went there again last week and the food and service were still excellent. The fries and the chicken were great and I was happy to see them have new menu items. If those I got the gimmari and that was great too. I regard this as the best Korean fried chicken in Berlin and most everyone I know agrees. Definitely recommend a visit.

The food is delicious, but the service was unfortunately unfriendly and downright mean. When I was there alone, the service was actually quite nice. But a friend of mine who is Arabic told me that he was always treated badly there. I didn't believe it until we went there together. We were served rudely and downright meanly for no reason. We behaved completely normally. It's strange that that doesn't happen when I'm alone. If your job is in service, you should treat all guests equally kindly, and if you don't want to do that, then maybe you should do something else.

It was amazing and soy sauce wasabi was especially good! Chilli sauce is authentic although it's less salty and less garlic flavoured compared to the Korean local taste. I missed it so much and I appreciated the athentic food here. Thanks for the quality food!

The Korean fried chicken with Super Spicy and Soy Garlic sauce was absolutely delicious—the best I’ve ever had! Special mention to the flavorful and comforting veg noodle soup, which was equally amazing. The ambience and vibe of the place were great, making the experience even better. Highly recommend!

Best Korean fried chicken I've ever had in Germany! The chicken is nice and juicy on the inside and super crispy on the outside. As an alternative there is also fried tofu! The selection of sauces is great You should be prepared to wait because the store is quite small but the crowds are high.

this is probably my partners favorite restaurant in Berlin. We come at least 2x a month and every time the food, service, quality has been very consistent. Staff is also really warm and friendly so it creates a very nice atmosphere. They also move very fast so even if there's a wait, you're not waiting for too long. 10/10
