Cheng's Asian Kitchen in Waldbronn

Ein gemütliches kleines Restaurant mit ausgezeichnetem Essen. Definitiv noch ein Klasse höher als die asiatischen Buffetrestaurants, die es mittlerweile häufig gibt. Service war super. Alles kam zügig und sehr sehr freundlich. Wir würden mehrfach gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist oder wie noch etwas möchten. Auch einige vegetarische wahrscheinlich sogar vegane Gerichte. Eine vorherige Reservierung macht Sinn.

Immer ein toller Besuch hier. Wir lieben die Bowls, die man sich selbst zusammenstellen kann. Sind wirklich unvergleichlich lecker!

Ich liebe diesen Ort zum gemütlich was essen zu gehen. Das Essen ist immer sehr lecker, der Service sehr aufmerksam und man kann dort in schönem Ambiente zu Mittag oder Abend essen. Empfehlenswert 🥳

Wir waren schon einmal vor Ort und es war alles in Ordnung. Letzte Woche haben wir Essen nach Hause geliefert. Die Lieferung war wirklich extrem schnell. Allerdings rief mich der Fahrer, der vom Restaurant ist, an und sagte, er könne uns nicht finden. Ich sagte ihm, dass ich ihn von unserem Balkon aus sehen konnte. Er meinte, ich solle meine Bestellung am Straßeneingang abholen. Nicht einmal am Haupteingang, sondern die Straße runter. Ich lehnte ab, da ich ja eine Lieferung bestellt hatte. Ich fand es unnötig, ihm weitere Erklärungen zu geben, zum Beispiel, dass es spät ist und ich im Schlafanzug bin. Der Fahrer kam dann hochgerannt, stellte die Bestellung auf den Boden und sagte: „Sie werden hier nicht mehr bestellen.“ Dann fing er an, mich auf dem Weg nach unten mit unfreundlichen Worten zu belästigen.

Das Essen ist von fantastischer Qualität, daher nicht billig, aber preiswert, und die Portionen sind riesig! Die Poke-Gerichte reichen locker für zwei Mahlzeiten. Tolles Ambiente und super Service!

Absolut empfehlenswert! Das Essen war köstlich, gut gewürzt und von hervorragender Qualität. Die Atmosphäre war angenehm und das alles zu sehr fairen Preisen! Wir mussten etwas auf einen Tisch warten, daher ist eine Reservierung ratsam. Alles in allem ein sehr schönes Erlebnis. Wir würden sogar die einstündige Fahrt allein für das Essen wieder in Kauf nehmen.

Ein richtig starkes koreanisches Restaurant mit einem mega Preis Leistungs Verhältnis. Die Qualität der Gerichte ist top und geschmacklich ist alles auf den Punkt. Besonders herausragend sind das Thunfisch Tatar und das Korean Fried Chicken. Beide Gerichte sind absolute Highlights und alleine schon den Besuch wert. Die Portionen sind fair, der Service freundlich und das Essen kommt schnell. Man merkt einfach, dass hier mit Liebe gekocht wird. Für mich eines der besten koreanischen Restaurants in der Gegend und definitiv eine klare Empfehlung.

Könnte man 6 Sterne vergeben, würde ich’s tun. Essen super lecker mit guter frischer Qualität. Kellner sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Für den Preis bekommt man auch echt eine große Portion

Aufgrund einer Empfehlung haben wir unseren Sonntag Abend hier verbracht und was soll ich sagen? Unglaublich! Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Da unser Tisch noch besetzt war, wurde uns an der Bar das erste Getränk als Wiedergutmachung gratis gereicht. Kaum haben wir das Getränk erhalten, war unser Tisch bereit, frisch geputzt und neu eingedeckt. Ein Gruß aus der Küche wurde vorab gereicht, ein Traum, dann die leckere Suppe und der Hauptgang. Nachdem wir überglücklich die Reste für den nächsten Tag eingepackt bekommen hatten, wurde uns noch ein Dessert auf Kosten des Hauses gereicht, unglaublich, unbelieveable. Also, uns haben Sie mit all der Freundlichkeit, Perfektion, Geschmack und Qualität überzeugt, wie kommen definitiv wieder. Großer Dank, wir freuen uns schon, wenn der Außenbereich geöffnet wird. Hier wird frisch gekocht und es gibt immer auch eine extra Saisonkarte. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und das Essen schmeckt super! Es ist ratsam, einen Tisch vorzubestellen.

Absoluten Geheimtipp im Karlsruher Raum! Wir sind spontan vorbeigekommen und haben es keinesfalls bereut. Essen ein Traum! Der Gruß aus der Küche war eine totale Überraschung- eine Sushi Rolle mit Sauce. (Davon hätte ich 100 Essen können) Die war absolut lecker. Das Korean Fried Chicken mit Soja/Knobisauce wundervoll! Außen ist die Panade knusprig und innen weich 🥰 Mein Mann hatte die Cheng’s Special Ramen und die war auch klasse! Die Portion war auch so groß, dass wir uns den Rest einpacken lassen haben. Der Service war schnell, zuvorkommen und sehr gut organisiert. Auch hat uns die Dame super beraten, da wir uns nicht entscheiden konnten, was wir essen sollten. Wir kommen aus der Karlsruher Innenstadt und werden definitiv öfter vorbeikommen. Beste Grüße!

Ich war aufgrund der guten Rezensionen mit einer Freundin im Cheng‘s Asia Kitchen. Leider konnten wir diese nicht bestätigen, aufgrund folgender Punkte: - Ich hatte das Curry. Es war leider total geschmacklos, Kaffirlimettenblätter und Geschmack haben total gefehlt. - Meine Freundin hatte als Pescetarierin die gebratenen Nudeln mit Tofu und Garnelen bestellt - bekam die Nudeln aber dann Todu und Rindfleisch. Als sie dies bemerkte und dem Kellner sagte, wurde ihr nur noch eine Portion Garnelen gebracht, anstatt die Nudeln mit dem Rundfleisch auszutauschen, die sie auch nicht weiter aß. - Der Service war leider überhaupt nicht aufmerksam. Wir wurden weder nach weiteren Getränken, noch Nachtisch gefragt und mussten für die Rechnung auch sehr lange warten.

Die Gerichte sind sehr authentisch und schmecken köstlich! Zudem sind die Portionen optimal! Ich war zur Abholung dort, bis das Essen zubereitet wurde, habe ich ein Glas Wasser und Sushi bekommen. Das nenne ich Service!

Sehr guten essen haben wir serviert bekommen. Um besser zu genießen, haben wir erst Vorspeise in Ruhe verspeist und danach das Hauptmenü bestellt. Es gab dadurch kein Stau am Tisch. Das essen selbst, hervorragend. Doradefilet super lecker. Wir werden höchst wahrscheinlich wieder kommen obwohl eigentlich nicht unsere Richtung ist.

Super leckeres Essen. War schon sehr oft dort. Egal welche Speise ich bestellt habe, alles hat megaaa geschmeckt und es sind sehr üppige Portionen. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Eine sehr schöne Lokalität in Waldbronn. Wir sind als Gruppe von neun Personen essen gegangen und waren begeistert. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr höflich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen hat wunderbar geschmeckt, und die Portionen waren großzügig. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist optimal und das Ambiente verleitet zum verweilen. Trotz größerer Bestellung wurden wir sehr zeitig bedient und konnten gleichzeitig zusammen anfangen zu essen. Unser erster Besuch in Chengs Küche war fantastisch! Wir können das gebratene Hähnchen wärmstens empfehlen – es war köstlich, und die japanische Mayonnaise darauf war perfekt für Kinder. Die Bedienung war schnell, professionell, gab uns tolle Empfehlungen und war sehr freundlich. Kommentar meines Kindes: „Das war das beste asiatische Essen, das wir je gegessen haben!“ Wir kommen wieder.

Die Küche ist gut. Mir fehlt aber die Möglichkeit im Web das Menü lesen zu können, vor allem die Wochenkarte. Angehängte Bilder sind schwer zu lesen vor allem auf mobilen Geräten. Außerdem wenn man den falschen Preis hinschreibt und dann mehr verlangt wird, das fand ich sehr schlecht. Vor 2 Jahren schon nach online Menu angefragt. Nichts passiert, wollen Sie Gäste oder nicht?

Nur durch den gestrigen Abend hegen wir den Wunsch an weiteren Abenden uns durch die gesamte Karte mit der Zeit zu schlemmen. Es ist schwierig zu beschreiben wie zufrieden wir waren und vor allem satt! Die Preise sind im Verhältnis zum Essen zu schwach orientiert. Natürlich freut das den Geldbeutel, aber Ambiente, Essen und vor allem das Personal haben viel mehr verdient. Wer "typisch" asiatisch sucht, wird hier nicht fündig. Denn gar nichts ist hier aufdringlich oder überladen. Im Gegenteil. Es passt haptisch und optisch entspannt zusammen. Das Personal ist ein Traum. Das Ambiente in dem Restaurant ist schön. Der Außenbereich ist weniger asiatisch, mehr Biergarten. Das Essen ist sehr gut. Die Bowls sind spitze.

Das Essen ist gut aber nicht spitze. Das Thailändische Curry war nur lauwarm und hätte mehr "wums" haben können.Das Rindfleisch in der Suppe war sehr zart. Der Boden im Eingangsbereich sehr rutschig , vermutlich fettig.

We discovered the restaurant by chance and luckily got a seat because it was pretty full even though it was a Sunday evening. Everything we tried tasted great. The service was also super friendly. Would definitely come again.

Highly recommended!! We had Kung Pao with shrimp and Chop Suey with shrimp. The portions were really big and tasted very good. The service was very friendly and accommodating. It is advisable to reserve in advance during normal peak times. Since we arrived after 8 p.m., we spontaneously got a table. Highly recommended and we will be back.

Excellent food. Chef's ramen and Hong Kong style noodles were very authentic. In both cases the meat was super tender and the portions were large. The ambience doesn't give away the great cuisine at all. The chic Asian restaurants usually only have average food. First there are sushi bites. The jasmine tea was also very good. A new local pub. The other dishes all have to be tested too.

I've eaten here several times when I've been in the area and it's always been delicious and the service has been very accommodating. They also respond to requests without any problem and turn some main courses into starters. There are also options for vegetarians and vegans.

I was recently at Cheng's and absolutely loved it. The new, diverse menu offers a fantastic selection of Asian delicacies that everyone will find something to like. I was particularly impressed by the freshness of the ingredients and the loving preparation of the dishes. The atmosphere is cozy and invites you to linger, the staff is extremely friendly and attentive. For anyone who loves the diversity of Asian cuisine, this restaurant is an absolute must! I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Die große Speisekarte bestand aus erlesenen Köstlichkeiten. Nur allerbeste Ware wurde verarbeitet und zu einem Augenschmaus angerichtet. Das Hähnchenfleisch war zart und saftig. Der Reis köstlich und die Soßen unsagbar lecker. Besonders erwähnen möchte ich den Gruß aus der Küche, der meine Geschmacksknospen hocherfreute. Eine mit paniertem Seetang umwickelte Sushi Rolle, ein wahrer göttlicher Gaumenschmaus. Die Nachspeisen köstlich. Die selbstgemachten, erfrischenden nicht zu süßen Limonaden waren ein Traum. Alle Sorten schmeckten vorzüglich. Das Ambiente war geschmackvoll, gemütlich und sehr gepflegt. Die Freundlichkeit des Chefs und des Personals war einzigartig zuvorkommend. Voller kulinarischer Glückseligkeit haben wir diesen Tag sehr genossen. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt sehr bald wieder. Preis/Leistung ist supergünstig, da es sich in meinen Augen um asiatische Sterneküche handelt.

What a gourmet experience! The large menu consisted of exquisite delicacies. Only the very best goods were processed and presented as a feast for the eyes. The chicken was tender and juicy. The rice was delicious and the sauces were incredibly delicious. I would particularly like to mention the greeting from the kitchen, which delighted my taste buds. A sushi roll wrapped in breaded seaweed, a truly divine culinary delight. The homemade, refreshing, not too sweet lemonades were a dream. All varieties tasted excellent. The desserts were heavenly. The atmosphere was tasteful, cozy and very well maintained. The friendliness of the boss and the staff was uniquely accommodating. We really enjoyed this day full of culinary bliss. We will definitely be back very soon. Price/performance is super affordable, as in my opinion it is star Asian cuisine.

Now I tested it for the second time and again I didn't like it, the fried chicken was too firm and the sweet, sour and hot sauce was much too sour, the salmon tartare was unseasoned. The chop suey tasted good. Cleanliness: a lot of things stuck, like the salt shaker and the mat on the table. The toilets weren't visibly clean either. We're not going there anymore.

Based on the reviews, we came to be convinced of the opposite. Unfortunately, the food is completely average, the portions are okay, although you don't get a lot of vegetables or meat and a lot of rice. The dish was overall bland and uncreative. (Curry with chicken and rice in coconut milk) The pasta dishes are classic “noodle boxes” drowned in soy sauce and instead of €6 to go they cost €14 on the plate, which doesn’t improve the taste. Ambiance is OK. Definitely not a feel-good oasis. Conclusion: Too expensive, too bland, little choice of drinks. Price performance rather unsatisfactory.

A place to enjoy - be it the culinary offerings, the friendly service staff, or the ambience. You can be served outside on the quiet terrace or inside the restaurant; this also offers a nice ambience. The menu is diverse and varied and the portions are good value for money (quantity and price are right)! The service is very friendly and competent. If you're in the mood for Asian dishes, I can highly recommend 'Cheng's Asian Kitchen'!

Super tasty! Ramen broth has been refined and tastes even better. Every change request will be fulfilled. I only know fried chicken from here. Everything is low in fat and, if desired, even less oil is possible (deep-fried things are of course difficult, but they are not soaked in oil). Always happy, there should be more places like this 👍

Culinary very surprising! The food is freshly prepared to a high standard and is exceptionally good. Natural flavors and homemade drinks that accompany the palate from one party to the next. The service is very attentive and friendly. This small restaurant will have a permanent place with us.

I was kindly given a table without a reservation, the restaurant was busy. The service staff were very friendly and attentive, not intrusive, which I really liked. I was very happy about the greeting from the kitchen because I wasn't expecting vegetarian sushi. The starter salad with tofu and miso dressing was just the right portion size and tasted fabulous. For the main course I was spoiled for choice between excellent dishes, all of which sounded delicious. The choice of vegetarian food must be highlighted. I had the stir fry noodles with chicken. The portion was generous, very fresh and I absolutely loved the taste. The leftovers were kindly packed up to take away. Thank you for the delicious food!

We visited Cheng's on opening day and were thrilled 🎉 A modern and at the same time cozy atmosphere awaited us there. We shared the starters so we could try different things. I liked the salmon tartare and the shrimp dumpings best. The dishes in which it was served were also a real eye-catcher. For my main course I had Cheng's Special Ramen. The large portion of spicy cinnamon broth was full of tender braised beef 😍 For dessert I tried the green matcha tiramisu. Something completely different! Really delicious. We'll definitely be back!
