Che Falafel in Bonn

The food didn't taste good, my girlfriend and I had stomach pains and diarrhea several times the next day. The ambience wasn't nice, but we didn't think anything of it at first. We then had the receipt for it while we ate... Not recommended.

Falafel box super small. Almost nothing in it. Falafel not warmed up. Rice a little dry. But I'll try again.

Here you can get to know Arabic cuisine and hospitality! Both shawarma and all vegetarian dishes immerse you in the Arabian world. The oriental ambience is also convincing. The owner loves what he does and prepares everything with passion! A must for every visitor to Bonn!

I love this store. For the past year I've been getting a falafel wrap here every time I have more than 5 minutes here at the train station. I always recommend the store to my friends 🫶 I personally cannot confirm what the negative reviews say about the ingredients. At least in the falafel wrap. I've actually never ordered anything else😂... I think this is the best falafel wrap I've been able to buy in a store so far. Not greasy, always fresh and very cheap. The employees are also very nice people. I really enjoy coming here.

Old review: Great food, super friendly owner, great homemade ayran. Try! NEW: I used to enjoy going there, even before the severe water damage that paralyzed the restaurant for so long. I continue to stand by the assessment given earlier, but I categorically reject the political stance, or rather the hatred, that has now become so obvious there. Unfortunately, even the best food and the best Ayran no longer taste good.

I don't know why the health department still allows this shop to open, they have to visit it, it's just very dirty

Hygiene Unterste Schublade. Personal unfreundlich. Besteck sieht benutzt aus voll mit fettigen Flecken. Hackfleisch liegt ungekühlt herum. Ich bin froh dass ich keine Magenverstimmung hatte. Man kann Geld für Obdachlose spenden aber der Besitzer hasst Obdachlose und wenn er dann einem etwas zu essen gibt ist es nur Salat und Sauce. Ein spenden essen kostet aber 6€?? So wird man als gutherziger Mensch ausgenutzt.

So unfortunately super bad, I'm pretty straightforward but that didn't work at all. The portions for just under €10 are marginal and don't fill you up. The rice wasn't really cooked through, it was served cold and the ingredients tasted like they had been there for several hours. Unfortunately not recommended: neither cheap nor the service. The lady seemed annoyed when I wanted to eat there, I hardly felt comfortable. 👎

Despite many bad reviews, I wanted to give the store a try. Unfortunately I can only confirm it. It's all very unhygienic. In my dish I found hair and something indefinable that looked very strange. The irritating political statement made things even more difficult. I hope that the police there are careful.

The snack restaurant supports Hamas' ideology against Israel, spreads conspiracy theories, presents itself as anti-Israel and questions Israel's right to exist. There are also calls for a boycott of Israel and the insinuation that there is a genocide by Israel in Gaza. Jewish people are not welcome in this restaurant/snack bar. (see also attached photos).

Even the sign at the entrance that demonizes Israel would immediately make any sensible person lose their appetite.

Unbelievable: an absolutely anti-Semitic shop. Manipulative atmosphere, not everyone is welcome and not a place where everyone feels comfortable. If you love cosmopolitanism and impartiality, avoid this shop!

Wir wollten als Gruppe ein schönes Mittagessen haben. Ambiente ist authentisch. Wir haben was bestellt. Was soll ich sagen, das Essen war ungenießbar. Fleisch schmeckt so als von Vortag, Hummus wie aus der Dose….. Wir konnten es nicht bis Ende essen. Ich rate jedem davon ab da essen zu gehen. Das politische Statement des Ladens muss man auch erwähnen. Es ist SCHOCKIEREND was sie sich da erlauben. FINGER WEG!!!

Betrüger!!! Der Chef nimmt 10€ Spenden von Passanten an, die der dann nutzt um Obdachlose kostenlos Essen Spenden zu können... ABER von wegen... Der Besitzer hasst Obdachlose, wenn der einmal ausnahmsweise einem Essen gibt, dann nur Eisbergsalat, Reis und Sauce, was nichtmal einen Gesamtpreis von 2€ hat... Und dafür verlangt er von herzensguten Menschen 10€... SCHWEIN DIESER BESITZER!!!

The tastiest falafel in all of Bonn and really nice staff, as well as good prices. I don't understand some people's comments. He is a Palestinian, and of course he complains that his people are at the mercy of terrible violence and oppression. This has nothing to do with hate.

I and my friends ordered Koshari from this restaurant. the food was extremely bad, Not Fresh, and with a bad Smell !!!! we couldn't finish the food and threw the rest away. I went to the owner and talked to him and he said it was good and refused to refund. He even didn't listen to the complaints!!!!! I don't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The food is really very tasty. Unfortunately, the employers are hopelessly politically hateful and will probably soon be as blinded ideologically as my great-grandfather was back then. The ambience could be great too. Unfortunately, the owner has recently been littering the shop with politically unfounded rubbish. Creepy. I actually enjoyed eating there until the place turned into a propaganda booth. Never again!

Che Falafel is an Egyptian treasure in the middle of the city! The owner exudes friendliness and openness, which makes eating a real pleasure. The falafel is delicious and the atmosphere is authentic Arabic. You immediately feel comfortable and welcome. The generosity and warmth of the team round off the experience perfectly. Highly Recommended!

I ate falafel there for the first time. The workers there were all very warm to the customers, they even recommended what I might like. The location itself made me feel nice about eating there. The food was really precious, I enjoyed it very much, I will definitely eat falafel from you more often. I can only recommend the top food, top workers and top location.

Extremely horrific experience. I ordered a chicken wrap and the lady at the counter was so messed up. She took the money first (5 euro) and was busy closing the store while making the wrap and while preparing the wrap she dropped it on a dirty platform and offered me the same wrap to eat. When I refused to take it she was rude and ask me to leave without refunding the money. Not good for health. Better install CCTV cameras to know the truth yourself and please provide basic hygiene training to your employees and there is indeed great scope to learn hospitality for all of you.

I found pork in my dish although I’m vegetarian!! Had to throw up and was feeling sick for two days after eating there

Absolutely bad, inferior quality and ideologically blinded staff

Seemed nice to me at first. I then ordered a shawarma wrap to take away. The (apparently unrefrigerated) ingredients, money and her personal belongings were then handled with the same gloves while she waited for the grill. Unfortunately, I noticed too late that the meat wasn't visible to the customer. In the end, the lady behind the counter took about 10-15 minutes to do it and then gave me a lukewarm wrap, which then dissolved after 2 minutes, through the paper bag as packaging, on my pants and shoes. Not recommended.

Allein die traumhafte, von hinten beleuchtete Thekenverkleidung aus ägyptischem Alabaster... Ein Treffpunkt von interessanten Leuten.

Ich war vor einigen Wochen mit meiner Familie bei che falafel essen, und bin über das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis überrascht gewesen— Die verschiedenen Gerichte haben uns sehr gut geschmeckt und sind zu den herkömmlichen Speisen definitiv eine gute Abwechslung gewesen. Der Service war nett, denn die Gastfreundschaft war sehr zu spüren. Vor einigen Tagen fiel mir jedoch beim Vorbeigehen das “Wir sind gegen Terror“ Schild auf, und ich musste mir dies eine Weile durchlesen… Ich war positiv überrascht, dass sich ein ,,einfacher Falafel Laden“ traut, auch mal politische Stellung zu der momentanen Lage zu nehmen, denn bis jetzt blieben alle nur still… Ich als deutscher Bürger, bin absolut gegen Vōlkerm0rd, denn mir braucht es nur an Menschlichkeit und ein wenig Verstand um zu sagen: ,,Ich stehe zu Palästina!“ auch die Aktion nebenan, mit den ,,Gutscheine für Bedürftige“ finde ich klasse, denn sowas sieht man leider nur bei ,,ausländischen Unternehmen“. Die Unmengen an hasserfüllten Kommentaren kann ich absolut nicht nachvollziehen.

Eigentlich gehe ich gerne dort hin. Der Falafel ist immer lecker. Aber heute leider Pech gehabt. Habe mich hingesetzt um leckeres Essen zu haben, aber die Speisen waren nur lauwarm. Unser bestelltes Brot, kam erst als wir schon fertig waren. Der Besitzer hat sich im Gespräch mit einem Kunden so aufgeregt (es ging um was persönliches) das wir auch den bestellten Tee nicht bekommen haben. Und Freundlichkeit war nicht vorhanden. Schade......

Einfach eklig.Null Gewürz und lasche Sosse...Man wirbt mit günstiger aber nicht zu lasten der Qualität!!!!

Leider vor Ort kaltes Essen serviert bekommen. Das Besteck erhält man aus einer Kiste, durcheinander gewürfelt und voller Fingerabdrücke und schlieren. Es sieht nicht sauber aus und vermittelt kein gutes Gefühl. Der Köfte spies war sehr sehr klein man bekommt nur 20% von einem richtigen köfte Spieß. Das Ambiente ist aber 10/10 Insgesamt kann ich das Lokal nicht empfehlen

Gestern habe ich bestellt 8 Stück Falafel bällchen mit Soßen.Es kam ohne Brot und ohne Salat und die Knaller der Verkäufer hat verlangt 9.80 😳😳😳Euro für die matschig schwarzen Bällchen. Ich finde, das ist kein Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Zumal man weiß, was Kichererbsen kosten. Unverschämt niewieder
