Champions Restaurant & Bar in München

We had great fun here. Bayern played against Inter Milan. Unfortunately they didn't win. But the bar can't do anything about it. Bayern were not suitable for the Champions League, but the burger was. He was strong. But there are no mushrooms here, so the name of the bar is misleading.

From the moment I was seated to I have a menu to decide what to eat almost 30 minutes passed. The service seemed to follow no visible pattern and seemed completely overwhelmed, which is concerning as the restaurant was not fully booked at all. The food is OK but nothing great. The prices are reasonable for a hotel restaurant though.

The bartender Joseph was a great help and told me a great explanation of all the beers they had on tap. Overall a great friendly experience would come again !

We had a wonderful afternoon with the whole family. The food, the football atmosphere and the atmosphere were great. We were particularly impressed by the attentive service from Ayham. His courteous manner made our day perfect. We'll definitely be back!

Uncomfortable seating, slow service, they stirred our beer with a spoon to make it frothy. They didn't have some food because the cook didn't come. Close or change management. Better go somewhere else.

Great restaurant with a lively atmosphere, friendly and attentive service. Vegetarians and even vegans are well served, the cauliflower wings in particular were a highlight. Particularly commendable on days with live sporting events, every single seat has a good view of all the screens.

Located inside the Marriott hotel, it's a casual place with great food and drinks. It has many screens where you can follow sporting events.

Food was good, but be prepared to wait. Service staff was excellent, but I believe they are understaffed.

The "Champions Restaurant & Bar" sports bar is definitely one of the best experiences I've had recently. I've never had such a great waiter as there (shoutout, you were the best!). The food is so justified for its price. I've rarely had wings and fries this good. I'd love to come back to watch my sport

Very nice evening (night) with Great buffet excellent service. However, we would have the Superbowl transmission via RTL in German is preferred.

We were on vacation in Munich and stayed at the Marriott Hotel. The integrated sports bar was a stroke of luck for us. We were able to eat delicious food, have a drink and watch football. The great evenings were accompanied by the service employee Ayham. His principle is “The customer is king”! Thank you for the great time, we'll be happy to come back. Many greetings from the football bestie too! ☺️

Very good, elegant and pleasant

I stayed at the Marriott for 34 nights in a row, which is quite long. Champions was super convenient for a guest like me! I get a company discount, the food was consistently good, the staff became really close with me, and it is right downstairs. The staff is international and interesting. The atmosphere is good for most casual occasions, especially sports. Food selection is rather small but decent. Beer is obviously good. I got served rather quickly. Overall, unforgettable experience, and I want to thank the staff for their diligence in assuring I was treated well the entire stay. Thank you Champions.

Great sports bar to watch NFL, especially after the renovation.

This was my second visit, and just like the first time, I had an amazing experience! I love sports bars, and the atmosphere here is top-notch. The bar itself has a sleek, modern design that’s really inviting. I sat at the bar, and Joseph provided exceptional service—he was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable. If you’re looking for a great spot to unwind with a cold, crisp beer while watching your favorite game, I highly recommend this place!

We've been there on 1st january, the restaurant was full and only 2 people taking care of customers. After 1.30 hours waiting our order, the dishes arrived cold. Unacceptable for an hotel like Marriott.

Best sports bar in all of Munich. Particularly noteworthy is the always friendly and completely customer-oriented Mr. Marques! Every visit is always a pleasure 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I didn‘t stay at the Marriott, but discovered this lovely neighbourhood pub with friends. The vibe is modern and cozy and the perfect spot to watch any sports. We were received very warmly by Louis and he recommended fantastic Cocktails and nibbles. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and the best part: it‘s a very dog friendly place. Can only recommend, trying this out.

One of the worst places with worse service and staff. We went to this place because we were staying in Marriot and wanted to have an early dinner. We placed our order at 8pm. Post half an hour on asking the waitress, we were told they have two restaurants to serve so it’s taking a little time. The order should be in any moment. At 8:45 we again asked and were told that the food is being plated as we speak. At 9pm we ask again and we are told they can’t do anything. It’s just taking time. In the mean while they serve 2 tables that came after us which I even pointed out to them. Not an ounce of shame or apology or at least an attempt to fix things. On the contrary the manager Louis Phillip asked whether we would still want our order or should they cancel it. This is the pathetic level of service they offer. Of the entire issue I pointed to him, the only thing he responded to was that how it wasn’t ok for me to point out that they are a sports bar and it shouldn’t take so much time to serve an order. Not to miss that we had two children with us which we told them again and again that if they could bring at least their order. Which was a flat bread. Absolutely disgusted with the service and staff. What’s worse is there was no attempt for trying to at least make the experience better. We were simply told” Sorry. Have a nice evening”. This is the service level. Would give minus rating if it was an option.

We had booked ourselves in for New Year's Eve for EUR 65 per person with food tower, welcome drink, etc. Instead of cool music, there were all sorts of sports programs on; the welcome drink was completely forgotten; the food tower was only reserved for 2 people instead of 3. The employees, apart from the bartenders, were totally unmotivated. After it was so boring and the service was so poor, we left again. CONCLUSION: I've celebrated New Year's Eve here three times before, it was always really cool and there was no thought of going home before 4 a.m.! Today maybe still good for a live broadcast, otherwise not; what a shame such a cool bar; and that in a MARIOTT.......

Myself and my wife had no plans for NY so we walked into Champions bar nearby. There was a set priced menu for a food tower and drinks. To say the least we had an incredible night all the staff, Louis and his team were so attentive and welcoming what a fun night we will be returning!

We were staying at the hotel and Went in to dine with my small kids and senior citizen parents. From the time we ordered the food till the time we left - it was nearly 1 hour and 20 minutes and the food did not come. Not even a plate of fries. The service was bad to say the least and the manager - Louis Phillipp is absolutely incompetent and seemingly rather racist. A table that came and ordered after us got their flatbread much before us. Meanwhile my kids sat hungry for almost an hour and a half. All we were told was - one kitchen is serving 2 restaurants. Well, that’s really not my problem or you should have told me the wait time before I sat and ordered. The staff was completely unapologetic and at one point they told us - food is being plated and will be served in 2mins. 20 minutes later there was still no food at our table. The restaurant and the manager are an absolute joke. Do not go here if you’re genuinely hungry and looking to eat.

A great sports bar in itself. Really screens on every corner. Also very nice facility. The burger was really OK, the cappuccino was a disaster. Key lime pie... Well then... Anyone who tries an "original" one will be disappointed. Reservation online only. Personally, it really annoys me. Unfortunately the service was really bad. Lots of young girls who obviously have no idea about this job. This is where my restaurateur heart suffers. Zero overview, slow... It's a shame actually. And not worthy of a Marriott I'll still come back to watch football

So the service was terrible and the food was rather mixed. The simple starters were okay and the main course was actually fried to death. Kind of a disappointment. You wait forever for drinks (20 minutes for a beer), mind you, not at peak times. The tables are cleared late or not at all. Just an unclean atmosphere. Too bad, please fix it

The manager left half of the restaurant empty for 2 hours because people had reservations. He was turning groups of 8 people away at 19:30-20:30 when there was clearly an empty table for 8 people reserved for 19:00. When I informed him he told me that it's "not your problem". If i owned this restaurant I would have an issue with the ineffectiveness of the manager.

Watching sports is ok, food is edible. Beer is on tap. Service was ok.

Absolutely bad service! No requirement at all, unfortunately you sit around for at least 20 minutes without being served. After you finally got served, nothing happened for another 20 minutes. Suddenly another service person came and asked if we had already ordered because no order was registered in their system. After that nothing happened for a long time... We got drinks when asked, but no food came. Absolutely bad service! You also wait forever for the bill. ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED

Very nice place, good food (got the chicken burger) and very nice staff!

It's a good option for those staying at the hotel, because of the convenience, but the food is not amazing. One night I had the couscous salad, which was good, but a bit dry and coming in a very small portion. And it took one hour to be served. The other day I had the bacon burger. Reading the burger description at the menu it sounded delicious, but in fact it was so so. A bit dry and not tasteful. The place is a good option for those looking to watch sports

Very nice atmosphere after the renovation. Food very tasty. Prices are already high, but I think it's still okay. Unfortunately, parking is very poor. But we enjoy being there more often.

We had an amazing experience at Champions, and Tobias was the reason we came back every night during our stay. His friendliness, sense of humor, and welcoming personality made each visit unforgettable. Tobias has a unique ability to connect with guests, and his positive energy created an atmosphere that made us feel right at home. We can’t say enough good things about Tobias—he’s a true asset to the bar and made our time in Munich even more special. We’ll definitely recommend Champions to others, thanks to him!

Jeanine gave the best service I've had in years. The beers came immediately and were super fresh! I got the chicken burger and it was cooked perfectly with the perfect amount of spice. I will be back for specifically the service. She was super bubbly and had the best accent :)

As a bonvoy member I was really hoping to have a better experience at this hotel. The lack of excellence carries over to this restaurant. I order the ribs, they were chewy and undercooked, I only at half of it. I couldn’t take it any more and the restaurant was closing. Moreover to get service was a universal problem at this hotel. Service is absolutely horrible. I won’t spend any more money why during my stay here; and will write my review about the hotel as well. Disappointed! I’m literally writing this with the wait staff collecting his tip from me. Never Evan asked did I enjoy the meal (or with half the food sitting there not even did I want a Togo bag/box.. SMH

A fairly typical Mariott hotel bar. They have good showing of sports and especially football. The food is ok but not that fun. Not so affordable and the service is unstable and sloppy. The venue is basic normal standard, like an American sports pub.

Incredibly noisy and unwelcoming. The food is mediocre at best. Had a dry burger on a burned bun accompanied by a watery coleslaw directly from the fridge. The beer is of course good and the staff is doing an OK job.

The selection and taste of drinks is pretty good, but the service is a disaster. Firstly, it is incredibly long for such a popular course. Secondly, the waitress was unacceptably rude: she almost explicitly asked for a tip and gave the bills with a very dissatisfied face. If you were to be served by Jeanine, it would be better to leave.

Horrible service, very rude and an absurd delay for orders to arrive and they even wrote down the wrong thing. Very good food, beautiful and comfortable atmosphere, but expensive. I won't be back...

You can't complain about the food at all, it was really tasty. BUT the service staff is absolutely overwhelmed. Trying to serve a full restaurant/bar with a maximum of 4 people is absolutely bad planning. Unfortunately we had to wait a long time for a new drink (which never came) and for the bill. However, the staff tried hard, were friendly and apologized for the inconvenience at the end.

Watching sports is really great, the waitresses are attentive and friendly but totally overwhelmed. Cooking takes a long time and tastes okay. Little food for a lot of money, especially when it comes to salad.

The speakers were broken during the Champions League game. So you could hardly hear anything. The food is way too expensive. However, the burgers taste very good

I've been staying at Marriott many times on business trips and being more or less forced to order food at the Champions at times due to lack of alternatives. The service (or lack thereof) is just a catastrophe. You basically feel like a ghost in an empty castle. There's no attendance and when someone finally shows up it's stressful, arrogant and non caring. I will order from Ûber Eats next time. Sorry to say.

Unfortunately, the orders were taken incorrectly (drinks were delivered incorrectly and the wrong dishes were served several times during the meal, where the exchange took a long time). Dishes were cleared away in between. For a small fries with currywurst 19 is also a lot. Drinks come automatically 0.5l. Cutlery was missing. Refreshing cloths for the chicken wings were missing. The billing is pure chaos. Waitress was annoyed. No thanks for tips. Glass of wine 0.2 12.50,-

A single catastrophe! From the service to the food, this is a total disgrace. A CURRYWURST with FRIES FOR 19 EURO where the fries are cold and hard and you could count the sausages on one hand, that's an ABSOLUTE INSURANCE in terms of price performance!!!!

I had dinner here with a work colleague. It had a casual atmosphere like a sports bar. I got a hamburger and it was delicious. If you are staying at a Marriott hotel or have a meeting, I thought it would be a good idea to relax here.

Just underground. Furnished carelessly, the chairs wobble and are broken. Out of 6 meals, three were cold and one was in the oven too long so it was rock hard. That suits this hotel at all. An absolute “no go”.

Had a good view of the screen and the food was tasty but regrettably the service was bad. It took quite a while until we were asked for more drinks. Ordered coffee and desserts together, the coffee came way ahead of the desert. When paying we weren't even asked whether we wanted to split the bill or to pay altogether despite it being obvious that we would've preferred splitting it up due to the size of our group. The waiter demanded, in an unfriendly manner, that we calculate the shares ourselves and pay all at once. Bummer, with prices like that one could expect more from the service personnel.

Super Stimmung die Kellner alle super nett und immer sympathisch das Essen war bis jezt immer schnell da und super Genuss ist da und die Abwechslung zwischen abends und nachts macht noch mehr Spaß kommt unbedingt vorbei wenn ihr mal einen gemütlichen Abend trinken wollt oder was essen wollt :)

Sitio muy agradable para ver un partido de fútbol o muchos otros deportes. Tiene unos 10 televisores para poder ver varios eventos a la vez, sitio super amplio por dentro y con terraza también amplia fuera en la que de vez en cuando hacen eventos. Los camareros son super agradables, muy atentos y rápidos. La. Comida es abundante y la calidad muy buena. Me alojo una vez al mes en el hotel y siempre voy al champions!!

Vegane surprise Burger war sehr lecker die Pommes auch, nur der Preis und die größe😂😵‍💫steht in ABOSLUT keiner Relation (21euro, Burger 5 Euro Pommes extra) Der dazu bestellte Krautsalat, LEIDER ungewürzter Eimerfraß🤢 Wurde nach Reklamation auf der Rechnung nicht berechnet! Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Besuch war an die Übernachtung im Hotel verknüpft. Wären ohne Anbindung ans Hotel nicht in dieses Restaurant gestrandet.

Gemüdliche Bar , das Bier war auch lecker und kalt. Burger und Fritten waren sehr gut Dort kann man ohne bedenken einen tollen Abend verbringen, gerne wieder 🙂

Leckeres Essen aber für meinen Geschmack viel zu laut

Das Location ist absolut der Hammer! Viele Fussball Fans. Die Bedienung allerdings richtig schlecht. Ich Frage kann ich ein Weißbier haben, sagt er ja, bringt aber kein Bier. Ein zweites Mal angefragt bei ihm, lahm wieder nichts. Dann sag ich das dem anderen Kellner, sagt er okay, bringt auch nicht. Irgendwann sehe ich ihn an der Theke chillen und er guckt mich so gechillt an und dann fällt ihm das ein. Er frägt mich, was wolltest du nochmal? Sage ich ein Weißbier: dann kommt er und bringt es an den Tisch hinter mir. Die an dem Tisch hinter mir sagen: wir wollen kein Bier, er überlegt so, Heee?? Obwohl das Frauen waren und ich bin ein Mann 😅. Genau wo die zweite Halbzeit angefangen hat, habe ich erst mein Bier bekommen. Dann wollte ich was essen! Er so okay ich komme gleich, dann kannst du bestellen. Er kam wieder nicht

Nice place to watch games. American style and food. The drinks came out quickly but the food took some time to be on our table. (-1⭐️). You should reserve a table, the bar get kinda crowded when the game starts.

The food is very expensive. One burger with French fries is 22€. 18€ the burger. And it is not a fancy burger. Small portion of French fries is 4€. We thought it was a included, bad surprise when we saw the total price. And waiting 40min for the food.

Første dag var en rigtig god oplevelse, fantastisk service, søde mennesker osv. Selvfølgelig besluttede vi os for at spise der igen,,,, det skulle vi aldrig have gjort. Min kone fik chicken burger, min søn chicken sticks, og jeg fik karry wurst og chicken sticks Alt med kylling var tørt, og og karry wurst, er den værste jeg nogensinde har fået. Den var halvkold, og pølsen var skåret i skiver, og druknet i karryketchup. Tjeneren var heller ikke stolt af situationen, og gav mig rabat og gratis drink. Ingen kritik af tjeneren, han gav god service, men kokken skal stramme sig mere an, også med de priser. Jeg synes det er ærgerligt at så fint et hotel, kan servere noget der minder om hvad man laver kl. 4 om morgenen efter en druktur. Øv Hold jer til burgerne, de er ok, men der er bedre spisesteder tæt på hotellet.

Wunderbare Atmosphäre für ein Fußball Spiel . Sehr leckere Getränke und zu snacken findet man auch was 🤤. Nochmal großes Lob an den Chef (was eine cooler Typ) obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten ,konnte er uns dennoch was möglich machen und wir hatten einen schönen Abend. VG aus Thüringen

Essen top Bedienung absolute 10/10

Hatten nur nachos und chickenwings. Nachos zu trocken den Käse könnte mal über denken und die Soßen. Chickenwings waren in Ordnung. Bei zweiten mal waren sie über fördert war zwar voll der Laden aber 30 Minuten warten bis man angesprochen wird no go. Sind dann gegangen.

Sehr authentische Sportsbar mit viel Platz und genug Optionen um die Spiele zu schauen. Top service und leckeres Essen. Leider sehr teuer, sowohl essen als auch Getränke. Dafür muss ich einen Stern abziehen. Trotzdem kann ich's empfehlen wenn man einen großen Geldbeutel mitbringt.

Absolut zu empfehlen. Für ein Fußballspiel haben wir 7,50 € Parkplatzgebühr gezahlt. Ich empfehle bei prominenten Spielen mindestens eineinhalb Stunden vorher zu kommen. Ansonsten gilt Einlassstopp.

A great place to watch foodball

American traveling. Watching a NFL game on a Sunday night is nice. My only criticism is that their wings need improvement. 1. Cut frying time by about a 1-2 min. 2. Toss the wings in the sauce. 2a. Throw wings on grill for 30 seconds. 3. Add more sauces, bbq, hot, and chili is not enough, need like 10-15 different sauce choices. 4. Give an extra basket for bones. 5 Have employees wear sport jerseys. This could pass for any sports bar in America.

Food is great and the employees are súper kind and polite, we felt super confortable. 100% recomendable.
