Friendly little dim sum place. Of course some of it was frozen, but it was tasty. No card payment!

Such a sweet shop. The dumplings are delicious. Small, manageable menu, no fancy varieties, very classic. The two older gentlemen who run the shop are so nice and hospitable. And the prices are really good. We had starters and then plenty of dumplings for two and were amazed at how little we paid. Despite great service and quality. I'll be back!

We were asked multiple times if we were done and urged to leave because there was a line—they were very insistent about it. They also didn’t give us full change without asking if we wanted to leave a tip

The Chinese herbal tea already convinced us. Run by a sweet older couple, whose husband brings Shanghai cuisine to Berlin, this is always the right place for a culinary excursion. Down to earth friendly and delicious.

What an experience! There are delicious Asian dumplings here, from dim sum to gyoza, all freshly prepared, super tasty and, from my experience, very authentic. With great attention to detail. An older lady, I assume the owner, served us warmly. Very nice atmosphere, definitely try it out! Especially try the bao as a dessert 🫰

The three of us were there today for a birthday party. As vegetarians, we were very surprised that there were more vegetarian dim sum dishes available than expected and they were all very tasty! The woman there was super nice, the restaurant is clean and simply decorated. We'll definitely be happy to come back!

A really nice shop with great food. We had made a reservation and the owner was nice on the phone and everything went smoothly. We had from starters, vegetarian and meat dimsum to the desserts. The food tasted very good and the service was great. The owner took loving care of all guests without being intrusive. There were even a few little things for free, like grapes at the end and we also received a few chocolates. Just very nice.

We came here on a whim because we were in the mood for dumplings. We started with the seaweed salad, then four types of dumplings and a dessert. The seaweed salad was warm, which was a first for us, and delicious! Just the right amount of kick that makes your lips warm and a touch tingly but not too much to overpower the other flavors. Of the four dumplings, two were from the vegan list and two had meat. The vegan ones we found to be good but pretty run of the mill, and we really loved the two meat options we chose (one shrimp and one pork). The ambiance of the restaurant is fantastic and we felt extremely taken care of!! The waitress is very kind and attentive, the decorations are nice, and the music is very calming. We will absolutely be coming again!

We had a late lunch. So we weren't very hungry and wanted to eat something light. Here I was able to enjoy familiar taste of Ohyang jangyuk when I ate it in South Korea. The atmosphere is calm and comforting. We definitely want to come back

Such a sweet shop and the sweetest owner ever! I have rarely felt so well looked after, our tea was constantly refilled with hot water <3 Not to mention the really SUPER delicious dumplings, which are all shaped and filled differently. We tested the vegetarian options once and everything was great. We particularly recommend the dessert (dumplings coated with coconut and sesame filling), to melt into! Absolute recommendation and gladly again!!

I'm thrilled and can only recommend everyone to come along. The food was super tasty, there wasn't anything that wasn't tasty. We had all starters, main courses and desserts. In addition, I haven't had such attentive and friendly service as here in a long time. 10/10, would love to come back because you just feel good. 😊

This was my first time getting dimsum with friends, one of which has a food blog and can be picky. Everything was delicious, get tea and a light dessert!

In terms of further training, I was once again drawn to Berlin, and after a visit to the historic Tempelhofer Feld, I ended up having an evening snack at Cha for Tee - a small, apparently owner-operated shop with very friendly hosts and really good Chinese cuisine. I only had 2 small things, spicy beef and marinated cucumbers, both of which were excellent. Hot is hot, that's how I like it. There is a small selection of good beers and the very friendly hosts. All in all, 5 stars, gladly again!

Fortbildungstechnisch hat es mich wieder einmal nach Berlin gezogen, und nach einem Besuch auf geschichtsträchtigen Tempelhofer Feld landete ich zu einem Abendsnack im Cha for Tee- Ein kleiner offenbar inhaberbetriebener Laden mit sehr freundlichen Gastgebern und einer wirklich guten chinesischen Küche. Ich hatte lediglich 2 Kleinigkeiten, scharfes Rindfkeisch sowie marinierte Gurken, beide jedoch hervorragend. Scharf ist scharf, so habe ich das gerne. Es gibt eine kleine Auswahl an guten Bieren und dazu eben die sehr freundlichen Gastgeber. Macht in der Summe 5 Sterne, gerne wieder!

I was longing for great dim sums for a very long time... Cha for Tee delivered! We only had vegan options, but they were delicate and full of flavour! The "Cha for Tee special" ice tee is a must :) on top of that, the service was super nice. Xie xie!

This place offers a wide variety of dumplings with great service. We tried both vegetarian and non-veg options, and everything tasted amazing. If you love seaweed, I highly recommend trying their seaweed salad. The prices are also reasonable.

This mom and pop joint serves authentic homey food. The owner is super sweet and from HK. My favourite dishes were the wonton, pickled cucumber. Definitely coming back soon

Good presentation of the dumplings, they come in different colours, with a big selection. I tried three different types, they tasted pretty much the same. Everything was average.

At first it looks modest and somewhat peculiar, but once you bite in the dumplings you just melt into your seat with delight. We tried all vegan dumplings and each one was better than the other. Prices are fair, even borderline cheap. Service is great and the neighborhood is absolutely lovely. What an amazing hidden gem

Wonderful experience here with my friends: we tried ALL the vegan dumplings and got a second round of our favourites. Highly recommend any group big enough to do the same. The appetizers are also remarkable- the sour potato stood out to me. 10/10 is the service by the owner, a very friendly woman passionate of taking care of her guests! I will be coming back and hope you get to experience her hospitality!

Were on the way to a concert in the Columbiahalle - and of course we needed something in our stomachs. Because of the good reviews, we stopped at Cha for Tee. We had three different starters. We had dumplings with vegetarian filling (very tasty), baos (very doughy) and edamame - lots of them. There were over 30 pods in one portion. More than you get in comparable restaurants for the price. The soy sauce served with it was somehow stretched. Wasn't mine. But overall a nice stay.

Highly recommended!! We were on a city trip to Berlin for a week and went back twice because it was so delicious! You have as many vegetarian options as meat options for a very good price. The lady serving was super friendly and attentive, and at the end gave us a bowl of grapes and mandarin oranges from the house. It is really worth it and one of the tastiest things we have eaten in Berlin. We will definitely come back!

The owner is really friendly and the dim sum is really delicious! Unlike the dim sum I usually eat, shaumai is chewy and delicious because it contains glutinous rice, but it has a bit of a shiitake mushroom flavor, so I think your taste will differ. The jasmine tea also has a great scent without any bitterness!!
