I ate there today and was completely satisfied. The food was delicious, freshly prepared, and beautifully presented. The staff was also very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended – I'll definitely be back!

The taste of food was awesome, delicious and tasty. i took a doner kebab which was 8.5 euros though little bit high but the amount was huge compared to the other doner, which i am unable to finish this at a time. so the amount was more and also i found there taste was different and really something special. strongly recommend one

I visited Central Grill Grillhouse today and ordered some takeout. I ordered a pide with sucuk and cheese. After a few minutes' wait, my order arrived. I then discovered it had been a pizza with sucuk and cheese. Probably a minor misunderstanding. I was offered the option to correct the order, but I decided to keep the pizza. The service was very friendly, and as a thank you, I received a free soft drink. The pizza was delicious, and I would definitely recommend it. The grillhouse is very clean, and the selection is extensive. There are also several seating options.

Top shop, I can only recommend the doner kebab plate 😘❤️

I spontaneously went there for dinner with my children last night. The service is excellent! The staff are very child-friendly and friendly, which made me very happy. We ordered an işkembe korba, a grilled platter for two, and a warm mezze platter. The grilled platter for two (more like 2-3) also comes with a salad and a small cold mezze platter. My youngest child got a small mini portion on the house. The grilled platter for two is generous, and the meat was delicious. The işkembe could have used more garlic and acidity, but the tripe was super tender. The grilled vegetables on the warm mezze platter were also very tasty. The ambiance is very nice, with oriental lighting and an elegant decor. I think the price/performance ratio is completely acceptable. Perhaps they could add a little more salt to the ayran and maybe use a slightly acidic yogurt 😄 then it would be almost like home. I missed the bread, but that would have been the only issue. By the end, my two older children were more starving than hungry, but that wasn't a problem! The staff were so friendly and even packed up the many leftovers so we could take them with us.

Very bad, I can't recommend it. The food at the Central Grill on Mainzer Landstrasse used to be good, but now it's a disaster. The service and ambiance are good, but it's no good if the food is bad. Everything from the soup to the main course and salad is poorly made.

The food was very good quality and the service was extremely friendly and attentive. We sat outside on the street, which was an unpretentious and absolutely pleasant spot. You can tell the place is well run.

It's become a complete disaster. I used to go there often, but the last two times I've been completely ripped off. The last time I got a lamb skewer to take away, there was no rice left, just chips. There were maybe about 15 chips in the packet. The meat was so-so, about 10 small pieces or so. The salad was absolute rubbish, just tomatoes and cucumbers. It stank, I have no idea what kind of sauce was on it, it was inedible. The bread was like yesterday's. And all of that for 20 euros for a lamb skewer!!! Even if I go there at 11 p.m., I expect decent food and not such rubbish!! If you can't make everything fresh at that time, then close the place at 9 p.m.!!

€8.50 was definitely too expensive. The meat was more for the animals. Too dry, no flavor. The toilet was my best friend. Thanks for nothing. 1 star.

The food tasted okay, but there were mice in the restaurant. When we asked about it, the waiter explained that this was "normal" in the restaurant industry and that they had weekly help – allegedly, the pest controllers intentionally leave mice behind to create more work. This is absolutely unhygienic and unacceptable. I think something like this should be made public.

They used lawyers and dirty tactic to take down critical and even fair reviews so here 1 star. Shame on this practice

There was arugula in the kebab, which I don't like at all, so I'd rather go somewhere else.

The place is very good. The employees are friendly. I think the prices of the place are a bit exaggerated. For example, the mixed grill I ate for 17 Euros in Nuremberg costs 23 Euros here. If they made Tantuni 7 Euros, I think it would be a more attractive price list. Additionally, beverage prices should drop by half. I recommend that you look at the price list carefully before placing your order.

The website should allow food delivery by appointment. Wow! However, the order ultimately couldn't be fulfilled (the order button remained grayed out), so I called. I was supposed to place the order, date and location by email and have it confirmed a day later and another phone call. On the day of delivery no one arrived on the agreed date. Phoned, waited, phoned again, waited again. Called for the third time and after a 40 minute delay we received almost cold food. A whole team was already waiting. Of course the break was already over. The food was ok, not outstanding but ok. Delivery service in the 21st century in Frankfurt!!! Thanks for the great service

Almost only salad in the kebab, hardly any meat, some of the meat was raw. Such impudence, as if you were a vegetarian and ordered salad in your bread

I used to be a regular and always happy, but unfortunately I haven't enjoyed it so much lately. After a long break, I gave the restaurant another chance today, but unfortunately the food wasn't convincing. The meat didn't taste good, the fries looked like the oil needed to be changed, and the portion of Dürüm bread was very small. For a total of €18 I would have expected more. Unfortunately I probably won't be coming back

Totally ripped off... :(( Since I can't eat things like bread or salad at the moment, I ordered a chicken skewer, a minced meat skewer, a lamb chop, a tripe soup, and a water. The soup was unseasoned, but still okay, but the little bit of meat (see photo!!) that came on my plate tasted very, very strange, and the lamb was simply forgotten. I also got a small tea, and the bill blew me away: €25!!!! When I asked, the waiter lied to me, saying there was also lamb on the skewer along with the chicken, and that everything would be more expensive by now... Such nonsense! I had neither lamb nor an XL meal, and they didn't even offer me vegetables, even if I couldn't eat rice, bread, or salad. And I can still distinguish between types of meat; after all, I have taste buds and can cook! He just lied to my face! That was a ONCE and NEVER AGAIN! Luckily, I was only there to try it out, and it wasn't my money - but that's just a total disgrace!! 》》》Better go to EMIRET in the city, everything is delicious and the prices and service are top-notch!!!

Not recommended – hygienic conditions are catastrophic! We recently dined at Central Grill in Frankfurt and had an absolutely shocking experience. We actually saw mice in the restaurant during our stay! When we brought this to the waiter's attention, he didn't even respond or comment on it - no apology, no explanation, just nothing. We then left our food because we lost our appetite. Nevertheless, we paid the bill and left. The fact that a restaurant is still allowed to be open in such a state is unbelievable. We will definitely never come back and can only advise anyone not to eat here!

It's a shame that the food there turned out so bad! The store was very good back then. The grill plate was by far the worst thing I have ever eaten. The meat had absolutely no taste, Adana skewer like rubber... the food really didn't taste like anything! The salad was served without dressing or sauce, just vegetable leaves on the plate. I ordered the meal with fries and asked the waiter about it a second time. Guess exactly! The plate then came with rice. But they corrected the mistake by offering this bowl of sad fries, and of course, again without sauce, ketchup, mayo or anything. I let the waiter know, he didn't even apologize properly, just offered extra sauce... and then avoided eye contact until we wanted to leave. In fact, I'm an easy-going customer and have a lot of understanding for things like that, but that was really exaggerated, especially when the plate costs €27 but isn't edible! So absolutely no longer recommended.

Four of us had dinner here and can only say positive things: kebabs and fries were great and the quantity was also perfect. The only downside: My wife wanted the salad without dressing, but unfortunately this was ignored. Otherwise perfect and also a nice atmosphere!

Super delicious food, extremely friendly staff! I had the pleasure of spending about 4 hours at Central Döner as I had to wait while waiting. I was allowed to do this straight away and I was also allowed to charge my cell phone. While I was waiting, I was always served a delicious warm apple tea on the house - I've never experienced anything so friendly anywhere! Thank you again!! All I can say about the food is that it was the tastiest lahmacun I've had so far. Everything is super fresh, great dough, great sauces and just really delicious! From now on it's a must visit for me when I'm in Frankfurt!

It depends on who works there and whether you enter special requests online. It's hardly noticed that it's like McDonald's missing a hamburger and missing fries. There is the fact that the pepperoni is missing, that they don't make any sauce on the salad, it's better to open it and check. But I have to admit, after complaining once and twice. Give them full throttle now I probably caught them on a turbulent day too. I always take take away with me. In German, it's a really cool restaurant that always tastes great and everything is fresh

We were visiting Frankfurt and chose this shop. Looking back, it was the best kebab shop we've ever been to. Definitely coming back here next time, highly recommended!! The “Pizza Central” is particularly highly recommended!

Frankfurt really doesn't have a good kebab. Had a kebab plate with rice, the kebab that is sold in Frankfurt takes some getting used to. Portion was just about meat-wise. Bread World class flatbread, upon request there were 3 pieces. CAY afterwards was also very good but kebab with rice for 13.90 could be more meat in my opinion. The waiters are also very good and very quick

Nothing new, stingy people. The meat was so burnt that you couldn't even taste the spices from the marinade. They tried to start a discussion with me because I wanted more meat on my plate even though I specifically mentioned that I was paying for it. My colleagues at the grill like to gossip about customers in front of them. I come from the catering industry myself and know what it's like, but gossiping in a different language in front of the customers is audacious. The only good thing was the nice lady at the service who was very pleasant, while everyone else was unfortunately bitter.

We're a group with the booking arranged by the agency, wehad dinner 3 days in a row and the quality and manners were decreasing day by day. The 1st all went well. We ask for oil for the salad and they gently provide it. The 2nd day, oh! All their oil reserves were already over and it was just 20.30pm The 3rd day, they gave us a plate that most of the people didn't like it and we beg to please to resolve it, even repeating the food from days before but, oh! Wow! Any other kind of meats were already sell it and it was just 20.30pm. It's surprising that at more at we're spending the voucher, the less they're giving.

It has now become a ritual for me to definitely visit this restaurant during trade fairs. I have rarely met such friendly staff and every year. The food is great and the prices are fair. What impressed me most, however, was the authentic friendliness of the waiter. I can only recommend it to everyone.

They should use freshly made Dürum. Otherwise, it was difficult to chew. Tantuni mit yugurt not worth it for 14,90€.

Very tasty food and nice waiters. Definitely got 3 free teas. The meat is obviously real layered meat from a spit and not a spiced meat mixture.

Delicious dishes. We had a grill plate for two people and we were more than full. The homemade lemonade was also delicious. You can visit when you are there.

Everything freshly prepared. The appetizer plate could have been a little more generous for my taste, but when something tastes good, you always want more of it! Even late at night you can get good, warm food here.

Absolutely disappointing. I have been a regular guest for years and have come in the evening to eat a kebab and receive it completely wrapped in aluminum foil. That really surprised me. You can never get this for eating on site. Open the kebab and the entire base is cracked and soggy. Hardly any meat in it and just a lot of carnage. I ask the waiter what that is and he tells me: yes, he knows it's not ok and it's already 11.30 p.m. and they'll be closing soon and that's why he's like that. Bravo. This is how you lose regular customers ✌️

I was there for lunch with colleagues and had cigköftem. I hadn't eaten anything else that day up to that point, so it must have been the cigköftem from Central Grill. I had food poisoning so I wouldn't recommend anyone to come here. Since cigköftem is a purely plant-based dish, it must have been due to general hygiene in the kitchen. So it's best to give this restaurant a wide berth.

Walked in at 10pm on a Tuesday night and grabbed a seat. A little lacking in choices for drinks but got a #40 and #223 which is a wrap and lemon iced tea. Waiter didn’t know much English but easily got the point across. Had my drink served in 2 minutes, food in 5. For €12, best damn wrap I’ve ever had. Got up, paid, and left. Quick, simple, easy. 5 stars without a doubt.

Food is okay, but really very small portion, wasn't really full... Ayran unfortunately not that good, staff friendly. A tea at the end was very friendly so 4 stars, make a little more portions, e.g. more rice or bread as a starter then it would be great

In itself a very nice restaurant and with very nice staff. However, in our opinion, the price-performance ratio of the kebab was not right. For €7.90 (as of July 2024), the kebab was clearly too small. In terms of taste, the kebab was also more in the middle range.

Just wanted to have turkish food and we found this place. The comfortable atmosphere is the thing I must recognize. We had some dishes which I do not remember well but they are not bad. The best thing I had is lamb soup, it is so goooood and you can eat it with some bread (?) I’m not sure. Overall, it is a nice choice.
