Cassiopeia Sommergarten in Berlin

Sehr schöne Terrasse. Gute Atmosphäre.

Ein wirklich schöner und gemütlicher Biergarten mit vielen Sitzplätzen. Wir kommen regelmäßig hierher, um die WM zu schauen, und die Atmosphäre ist immer super. Es gibt sogar eine Kletterwand, was den Ort noch besonderer und unterhaltsamer macht. Das Essen ist einfach, aber lecker – es gibt Würstchen und Pommes, auch vegane Optionen. Das Personal ist freundlich und alles ist bestens organisiert. Nur ein kleiner Hinweis: Man darf keine eigenen Getränke mitbringen, da diese am Eingang eingesammelt werden. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Ich war während der Fête de la Musique dort und hatte eine tolle Zeit.

Ein angenehmer Ort, um am Wasser ein Bier zu trinken.

Heute wurden wir von zwei Kellnerinnen als Nationalisten und Extremisten beschimpft. Wir fühlten uns verbal angegriffen und diskriminiert, nur aufgrund unserer Herkunft. Wir trugen die Flagge unseres Landes, weil das Spiel unserer Nationalmannschaft übertragen wurde. Den ganzen Tag über freute ich mich, Fans der gegnerischen Mannschaft in ihren Farben zu sehen, und es gab keinerlei Probleme. Das einzige Problem waren diese beiden Kellnerinnen, die laut wurden, weil ich die Flagge meines Landes auf dem Schoß hatte – ich schwenkte sie nicht einmal. Es war enttäuschend, so viel Intoleranz zu erleben und mich diskriminiert zu fühlen, nur weil ich mein Land friedlich unterstützte. Ich interessiere mich überhaupt nicht für Politik und bin in meinem Heimatland ein sehr unpolitischer Mensch. Ich habe einfach meine Nationalmannschaft unterstützt, genau wie Fans anderer Länder ihre. Ich würde nicht empfehlen, hierher zu kommen, um Fußball zu schauen. Wer eine einladende Atmosphäre erwartet, in der Fans verschiedener Nationalitäten respektvoll behandelt werden, wird enttäuscht sein. Wir waren nicht die Einzigen, denen diese Behandlung widerfahren ist. Ich gebe diesem Ort nur deshalb 5 Sterne, damit möglichst viele Leute diese Bewertung sehen und lesen.

Tolle Atmosphäre für einen gelungenen Abend! Allerdings ist die Bierauswahl begrenzt und die Toiletten sind veraltet und schlecht instand gehalten.

Schöner Biergarten. Aber wie andere auch erwähnt haben, warum bekommst es heute quasi niemand hin mal paar Biere schnell zu öffnen und einzuschränken? Waren letzen Freitag da - ja es war viel los, aber hier lässt der Betreiber vieel Geld liegen (holen wir uns noch ne Runde? Neee, dauert wieder 20-30 Mins).

Wir haben außer einer Käsebrezel nichts gegessen, aber die war lecker.

geile location, die ich absolut liebe. was ich nicht verstehe, warum die betreiber es nicht auf die reihe bekommen, einen halbwegs professionellen barbetrieb auf die beine zu stellen! ewiges warten an der bar verdirbt mir den spass.

Wie wollt ihr die Weltmeisterschaft abschalten und die Tore verriegeln? Kommt bloß nicht hierher, um die Weltmeisterschaft zu sehen!

Die Übertragung wurde kurz vor Spielbeginn abgebrochen und wir wurden ohne Erklärung im Ungewissen gelassen. Nicht empfehlenswert für WM-Spiele.

Toller kleiner Biergarten auf dem RAW Gelände. Immer einen Besuch wert.

Das Beste war der Service einer Kellnerin, die in Barcelona gelebt hatte und sehr freundlich war. Auch die tolle Atmosphäre war bemerkenswert. Der Nachteil war, dass bei unserem Besuch keine Musik lief (oder es war sehr, sehr ruhig), sodass wir letztendlich nur auf einer Terrasse inmitten vieler anderer Gäste etwas tranken.

Das Bier war gut, die Küche war geschlossen.

An sich ein schönes Lokal mit cooler Atmosphäre, aber der Service ist unglaublich langsam. Ich musste 20 Minuten auf ein paar Softdrinks warten. Die Schlange war auch extrem lang. Außerdem ist es etwas überteuert.

Sobald es dunkel wird, laufen dort immer große Ratten unter den Tischen herum. Ich war zweimal dort, im Abstand von einem Jahr, und habe jedes Mal dasselbe erlebt.

Hier lässt sich der Berliner Trubel prima vergessen. Bei entspannter Musik kann Mensch Mensch sein und einen Blick auf die benachbarte Skate Bahn und Kletterpark werfen. In absehbarer Zeit gibt es auch gezapftes Radler. Dann ist es noch besser. Einziger Wehrmutstropfen: Es gibt nur sehr kaltes Wasser zum Händewaschen.

Very nice medieval Christmas market

We went to the Cassiopeia Winter Market on Saturday and I absolutely enjoyed the atmosphere (plus point to the camping fires)

It's a really cool place to get the Berlin vibe. The lights are cozy, the whole place is nice, it's good to hang out with friends. The drink selection is good.

Went here for a DJ performance with friends late at night after a Vegan Activist Event that day. Had a lot of fun dancing and drinking some beers. Great place for a shindig with lazer lights and garden atmosphere with friendly bar staff! At some point around midnight, when we left soon after, my wallet with all my cards and ID etc, must have bounced out of my unzipped bumbag without me realising until the next morning!! When I returned to this venue the next day IT WAS THERE BEHIND THE BAR! So amazing and a huge relief. The 25€ cash was gone but that is inconsequential compared to the pain of replacing cards. THANKYOU to the honest human who handed it in. The cash is gladly considered an honesty tax or finders reward ❤️ xx Not many Vegan Options for good food, but there is some processed fast food there for plant-based seekers.

One of my favourite places to go to in summer. The atomosphere is so chill. There's a huge selection of drinks but I'm usually just grabbing a soft drink. Their tarte flambee is great too!

The garden is really nice and could be a great spot for a beer. However, the reason for my low rating is the presence of rats that makes the atmosphere not enjoyable. It's a pity because the place itself has potential but I think this is not good at all from a hygienic point of view. I'm pointing this out mainly because I hope it could be fixed so that everyone can have a great experience here! The service also could be improved (not too kind, in my opinion).

I've been here twice as a tourist and have since recommended this Sommergarten to everyone I know who's planning to visit Berlin. The atmosphere is fantastic!

For Spaniards: it's worth a visit. Although the entrance may not be attractive to everyone, this beer garden is very cool inside. The beer is good and the atmosphere is great.

My husband was standing in line, right in front of him the bartender silently stopped taking orders... I had to go to another bartender, stand in line again, in the end it took 40 minutes to order a beer...

A beautifully situated beer garden with a relaxed atmosphere. The prices are perfectly reasonable. We only had a few drinks, so I can't rate the food. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

There is long bar line with several points where you can order. I got to one where one barman just served somebody with beer, I waited for 5-10 minutes, but the guy disappeared. I've got line of people behind me, then another barman appeared on nearest point, he served somebody, he looked at me but absolutely ignored that I'm the first one in line. Then people behind me just went to this order point and barman served them first, they ordered around 20 beers, I waited for 20 min in this new line but then gave up. Just very rude and incompetent barman

I have a very mixed relationship with Cassiopeia. Service: hit or miss – both in terms of friendliness and speed. Yesterday, it was good again. Drinks: the selection is good, the prices are totally reasonable. Food: the pretzels are great, the fries are terrible. Ambience: super charming, and even with a larger group, you can sit comfortably here. The biggest problem for me are the rats. Yes, it's Berlin, yes, it's the RAW area. It's still not normal and super disgusting. They're already scurrying around during the day. As soon as it gets dark and more rats emerge from their hiding places, they also run under the occupied (!) tables.

Cool location, had a nice evening there. Didn't eat anything, drinks had to be fetched at the bar – I didn't do that, so no review.

The ambiance was okay, but the service was quite poor; the person at the bar refused to refund the deposit on the drink glasses, giving rather nonsensical explanations.

Make sure you ask for your Pfandmarken, they don’t give you any when you get drinks from the bar, and then claim that you lie when you return the glasses 😅

It's a perfect place, and the atmosphere is amazing! I loved it. You can have a great time and drink delicious beer at the same time. There's also a skateboarding area and a climbing wall, so anyone who wants to can use those too.

A super relaxed garden for lounging and having a drink together. A great place for a first date. The times I've been there, there were freshly tapped beers and skate punk music. The clientele is typical, but everything is more relaxed. Even without security, no one causes trouble.

Too crowded, limited food options, long queue for beer or maybe we went there on a wrong day. Nice vibe.

It's the atmosphere that makes you stay. And it's the bar that makes you stay long. It's the food that makes you leave. Among factory ruins, a skate park and a climbing tower, you get the best of Berlin. Crunchy and cozy at the same time.

I didn't eat food and it was self-service so how bad can it be. But the atmosphere was amazing. And there is a skatepark too so if you like skateboarding you can skate there or just watch. Also there is a bouldering wall if you like climbing or just want to try but be careful although it's not high there is no equipment. I think is an amazing place for summer evenings

Today was our first time at Cassiopeia, and we were impressed by the atmosphere. Unfortunately, we were served very rudely by the lady with the bat tattoo behind the bar. She didn't even look at us or say "please" or "thank you." Furthermore, even though we didn't say anything when paying, we weren't given the correct change.

Great beer garden. A lot of Italian is spoken. Bratwurst and fries are served. Currently, each for 4 Thaler.

Awesome place. Before hand is the music phone box. Great for skate boarding, climbing and just chilling 1€ for each item deposit but get back at the end. I kept the badge

Awesome place, very friendly staff, good music. This is a true Berlin beer garden experience.. But seriously guys... You need a line for returning glasses only to receive the deposit. I saw many people including myself waiting 15-20min to get my deposit back because we had to wait in the "normal" ordering line. This is really a frustrating experience. Hence 4 stars.. Without this problem: 5 stars easily. Edit: there's a "beer only" queue now. Finally. 5 stars

Chilled summer/beer garden on the RAW grounds. I was only there briefly during the day due to acute thirst - but I can very well imagine that it is a real hotspot in the evenings. The gentleman behind the counter was nice, the beer was cold and, fortunately, thanks to his request, the raspberry syrup wasn't as overpoweringly sweet as usual. 🥰 If I ever come to Berlin again, I'll check out the place at a later hour!

Great biergarten behind Cassiopeia! Lot of space to sit, in the sun as well as in the shade, and there are lots of trees which make the atmosphere very enjoyable and relaxed. Perfect for a drink after a bouldering session, but I wouldn’t recommend the cider, far too sweet for my taste. (4,50€) The bretzel was ok, for 2,50€ it’s alright. They also accept card paiement from 8€ (each drink is about 4€ so for 2 drinks).

Nice place and good selection at the bar. On the other hand, the toilet and staff, who are now pushing for payment at 5 euros per beer and the fact that the sanitary rooms are not maintained, are more of a joke and a reason to go somewhere else.

A summer garden in the heart of Revaler Straße. If you want to have a quick drink outside, it's a good place. Smokers can relax here. It got too crowded too quickly for me and you often end up sitting back to back with strangers. When it's full, ordering a drink can take 20-30 minutes. There are some tasty things to eat but people with intolerances should go elsewhere. It's a lively and hip place.

Good for beers. The food is typical Biergarten stuff (fries, sausages) but quite expensive for the quality. The place is super cool

Very disappointing visit. Only one person was working behind the bar and it wasn't until 20 minutes later that two more employees showed up while we had to wait in the blazing sun. When we were finally able to buy our water for 4 euros, we were treated very unkindly, even though the beer garden was almost empty. Not recommendable.

Despite the very touristy location of the Cassiopeia Summer Garden, in my opinion it is one of the best beer gardens in Berlin. In the middle of the city's pulsating party center, this large location invites you to linger under shady trees. There's always something going on there. Nevertheless, you can always find a place in smaller groups. With larger groups it could be a little more difficult. There are a variety of classic beer garden dishes and drinks that shouldn't leave anything to be desired. The prices are not cheap, but can definitely be described as moderate in this location. I really enjoy being there.

We spent a great evening watching football here. Come early, good seats are rare. The atmosphere in the summer garden is excellent and we will definitely stop by again. Drinks and food orders only go to the counter, where it can of course take a while if there is a lot of traffic. Priced completely fine. When it comes to eating, you could add more and offer better fries.

Pissing fun, think old factories with new life. The only minus is that a guest list suddenly appears, where before you could just enjoy yourself in the gardens (though not all bars). Cool skate rink/indoor skate park.

Don’t go there if you want to watch football. The broadcast keeps slowing down and stuff does nothing. Out of 90 minutes EM game we watched only 50 minutes, other 40 minutes we were waiting for normal internet connection
