This was our first time here (we were on a short break in Berlin). Relatives took us here. The tarte flambée was delicious (huge portions), and my wife had half packed for her. This was also arranged without any problems. Our relatives had herring with potato wedges and were also satisfied. I thought the Fassbrause (stir-fried soda) was quite tasty; I'd never had it before. You have to order food and drinks at the counter yourself; orders are NOT taken at the table. The food and drinks are brought afterward. This might be a minor drawback for some, but it didn't bother us. The food was also prepared quickly. My wife is in a wheelchair. It's easy to get around in a wheelchair, but there are no accessible restrooms, which is something you should be aware of if you have a disability.

Really nice location. Heavy contrast to Berlin Zoo because it is way to nice to be so close to Berlin Zoo. Anyways food is great (even vegi options), and beer is as good as it can be. Sometimes there is Live-Musik. All over all a very nice location. Only negative, sometimes heavy crowded.

It was surprisingly good! I'm not usually a fan of beer gardens—too loud, too crowded, too chaotic. But: the food was really good (dish of the day), the organization was well done despite being self-service, the atmosphere was nice, and despite being packed, you don't feel like you're sitting in a train station concourse.

Small beer garden near busy cycle paths and railway lines. Not incredibly loud. But very noisy. Self-service only -> remember your table number. Some dishes are brought later. Berliner Currywurst wasn't that good. Potato wedges were sloppy. No bite. No seasoning. Sauce was so-so. Lots of ketchup with curry powder. Unfortunately, not a highlight. Beer to go. Chilled. Just as Bavarian. Nothing fancy.

Always a pleasure to be here, always crowded, but you usually find some seating. In summer it’s selfservice, which is totally fine and normal for a Biergarten. But in winter you get proper service, the older generation is sometimes a little inappropriate but that’s pretty normal for older men. The younger staff is super nice though, always a pleasure to come by :))

I had a Schleusensalad (goat cheese incl.) Food was yummy and the service very polite. Highly recommend for summer lunch (like the one I had). You're ordering at the kantor window, getting your own drinks at the same time, but tell them your table number so the waiter will serve your food to your chosen spot 😎

Perfect for an after-work beer. Also suitable for large groups. Relaxed atmosphere. The music gets louder over time. Despite its location right next to the train tracks, it's not noisy. Easily accessible by public transport. Wheelchair accessible.

As disgusting as the zoo is as a S-Bahn station, this cute little beer garden is all the more beautiful. A pleasant atmosphere, a bit on the expensive side, but delicious, freshly prepared, and with recipes that are different from the ones you'd find everywhere—different salads with different ingredients—your palate will definitely get its money's worth.

The food is terrible. I ordered a currywurst for €15(!) and was more than disappointed. The potato wedges were overcooked, mushy, and soft. Just a bratwurst with a ketchup-to-curry ratio that leaned more toward just ketchup. At a snack bar (anywhere in Berlin), you can get much better quality for just €2.50. The only good thing here might be the beer, but the food is abysmal.

It was so crowded - we couldn't get a seat here, but we wouldn't have liked the ambiance either.

Great beer garden and nice people. Except for the employee in the orange T-shirt and pigtails who turned the music up so loud inside from 10:30 PM yesterday that you couldn't have a conversation. When I politely asked them to turn it down a bit, I was looked at as if that were the most rude thing in the world a guest could ask. They didn't turn it down. Employee of the Year and super professional—NOT. 🙈

Very nice Biergarten. Easy to get, because it’s between Sbahn Tiergarten and Zoo. Friendly staff, very attentive. They also have vegan Currywurst.

Food is fantastic, with really exceptional portions as well. Wide selection of beer and the apfelschorle is excellent! There is a very large assortment of tables, but if you're a larger group definitely send someone to find a table a half hour before your party arrives. Delicious!

Hello, I'm coming from Bavaria, and this is what I call an absolute disgrace of a dish. A curry sausage must look and taste like a curry sausage, and it doesn't. The filling of the sausage reminds me of the excrement of a sewer rat. The taste is more oppressive than that of a Jewish memorial.

It's a comfortable place to sit, even when it's raining. The service is always attentive, and the table is quickly cleared of empty glasses. You can always find a nice spot.
