It used to be much better. It's actually a shame... Kale at the Christmas market would have been much better.

Four of us had dinner here and unfortunately we were all disappointed. The service was friendly but very slow, there were still remains of cutlery on the cutlery (we were the first guests right after it opened in the evening) and the food was unfortunately not satisfactory either. There was hardly any cheese on the salami pizza, giving the impression that it was just dough, sauce and a few pieces of salami. The tarte flambée was not fully baked and spices were saved on the other two dishes. When we asked, after waiting 10 minutes we were given chillies to season ourselves. The prices are an absolute disgrace for the quality of the food and the portion sizes. We left the restaurant disappointed and hungry. However, the wine list is acceptable and the ambience is appealing.

The ambience from the outside appealed to us, as did the inside. The waitress either didn't notice us coming into the restaurant or didn't pay attention to us - you don't know. There are too many dishes on the menu, but when the food came it turned out that everything was done but without perfection. The pizza base was tasteless and had nothing to do with a pizza base as such. The tarte flambée had the same base as the pizza and should best have been called “Pizza Bianco”. I ordered it with beetroot, goat cheese etc... unfortunately I couldn't find any goat cheese here -> Explanation from the waiter: "The chef says it had feta cheese on it" -> sorry, it's not goat cheese and doesn't taste like it AND I didn't order that. When the waitress apologized that the food wasn't what I expected, I was offered a new meal, but only a coffee or espresso on the house to make up for it. Is there an unwritten rule among restaurant owners that you only offer a coffee and don't take the food off the customer's bill if it doesn't taste good? Sorry, but I will not recommend this restaurant to my friends if they are considering vacationing in Wernigerode.

Unfortunately we didn't have a nice evening there. The food was very bland and the pasta with pesto was dry. The waiters were friendly but relaxed. Before entering, we asked if we could eat there with our dog and we were seated one meter away from the children's play area.

Currently our favorite shop in Werni. Creative, varied cuisine, good vegan options, very nice service, interesting drinks menu. Not cheap, but worth the price.

If you are dedicated to Mediterranean cuisine and have several pizzas on the menu, you should be able or willing to make a reasonable yeast dough. The pizza and the tarte flambée we ordered weren't worth a cent. Even if the ambience is nice and the service made an effort, we will not come back.

We reserved a table, but after about 8 minutes of waiting we had to actively speak to the waiter to get a table. After another 10 minutes we got the cards. After placing our order, we were accidentally brought the wrong starter. Can happen. The food itself tasted okay. A bit bland for my taste. The service staff were a bit clumsy when serving, but they were completely okay. But almost ignoring us, despite the now manageable number of guests, was not a pleasant experience. Even when we asked for the bill, we had to do it again after 20 minutes. In total, we waited almost an hour after our meal until we received our bill, including the waitress saying that we could have drawn attention to ourselves. We drew attention to ourselves and had to actively approach someone for everything. Service unfortunately inadequate.

This evening we had dinner with two families at Casa Vita and gave it 5 stars. The ambience, the food and the service were very loving and courteous. There were no long waiting times. The food was very tasty and we felt completely at home satisfied.

Am letzten Tag unseres Harzaufenthaltes besuchten wir Wernigerode. Nach dem Besuch des kleinsten Hauses der Welt wurden wir vom Regen überrascht. Wir hatten auf unserem Weg zum Haus ein kleines nettes Lokal in direkter Nachbarschaft gesehen und beschlossen spontan dem Regen durch einen Restaurantbesuch zu entkommen. Schon beim eintreten nimmt einen diese Lokalität gefangen. Es sieht aus, wie auf einer kleinen Piazza mit Bäumen und Teich. Kleine Tische, nette Deko und weitere stimmige Details rundeten das Bild ab. Gottseidank bekamen wir ohne Reservierung einen Tisch. Warum ohne Reservierung wenig geht bekamen wir im weiteren Verlauf mit. Kaum geöffnet , füllte sich das Restaurant recht schnell und mancher musste erkennen, dass eine Reservierung fast unumgänglich ist. Nun waren wir natürlich gespannt in welches Kleinod wir hier geraten waren. Die Speisekarte bot dann die nächste überraschende Erkenntnis: nicht überfrachtet mit Masse sondern eine Auswahl an Köstlichkeiten wurden angeboten. Teilweise so noch nicht gesehen und geschweige denn gegessen! Wir entschieden uns für hausgemachte Gnocchi und Pasta in Chili-Sahnesauce mit frischem Parmesan. Dazu hausgemachte Limo. Ein unfassbares Geschmackserlebnis erwartete uns. Wirklich selten waren derart angerichtete Klassiker so gut abgestimmt, frisch und toll angerichtet. Ein tolles Erlebnis dass durch das super freundliche und aufmerksame Personal noch weiter aufgewertet wurde! Casa Vita, wir kommen wieder….Danke für ein aussergewöhnliches Genuss- Erlebnis!

The olives could have been a little tastier but otherwise the food was great.

The tarte flambée was really tasty. There were a lot of vegetarian dishes and the food came quickly.

We hadden gereserveerd dus er was plaats voor 4. Het drinken was zo besteld en we wilden alleen een hoofdmaaltijd. We kozen voor rumpsteak, 2x medium gebakken en 1 x raw. We moesten ongeveer 5 kwartier wachten voor het werd opgediend maar...... het was zo verrukkelijk dat het wachten direct werd vergeten. Echt een aanrader.

We visited Wernigerode on a Wednesday and the city was buzzing with life. The Rathausplatz is packed with restaurants, but we wanted a different experience. So we searched for, and found, a cool little restaurant Casa Vita. Entering from the street, is a stone cobbled walkway where you can sit and eat, there entire place is full of atmosphere, green trees, bushes and a water bassin with fish. Food is very good and the prices are very reasonable, especially compared to the selections and prices just 2 minutes around the corner at the Rathausplatz. We dined, 2 adults and 2 kids, for roughly ~ €55. Nice and friendly staff, will recommend.

A very nice restaurant where you can sit outside and inside. Dogs are also very welcome here, thank you for that. Our children like to eat here. That's why we've been coming here to eat every year for the past 3 years. Food is fresh, tasty and beautifully served. Delicious cocktails 🍸 with or without alcohol. Top! Atmospheric restaurant with good service, the food is tasty but not very special. The service is good.

We spent a lovely evening here with friends, the food was very good, the non-alcoholic cocktails were also very tasty! Only the wood in the fireplace could have been a little drier, then the smell wouldn't have been so intense.

Great location almost in the heart of Wernigerode. Great atmosphere and good service. Food actually ok. Unfortunately the price-performance ratio is not right! E.g.: Tapas a la Casa - 2 slices of ham, 3 slices of salami, 3-4 pieces of Manchego cheese, some olives, bread and aioli - €16.90

Service was completely overwhelmed. The fish soup was far from being fish soup. Everything else is absolutely mediocre. Absolutely not worth it.

My boyfriend and I had dinner here to celebrate our 1st birthday. We had a hard time finding a welcoming restaurant, and this was the first to welcome us well. We are French and don't speak German, only English, so it was a bit difficult to order from the menu, we had to use our phones to translate. I recommend including a description of the dishes in English. I ordered a margarita, it was served with tomato slices and sauce on top. Unfortunately I can't eat sliced ​​tomatoes, but the staff kindly agreed to change the pizza for us. They were very caring and understanding. On top of that, the pizzas were delicious and the service was fast, the atmosphere was very pleasant, there wasn't too much noise, it was a very romantic restaurant. A small carp pond was next to us, it was very pretty. My boyfriend and I highly recommend this restaurant.

Sadly this place does not live up to my expectations in terms of advertising vegetarian and vegan food. Theres 3 vegan dishes on the meny, all of which are soething you can get in most restaurants these days. I had the Mediterranean vegetable dish whish consisted of some fried vegables with hardly any seasoning or flavour. I also tried the chocolate crumble, which was a some cocoa glavoures cake crumbled served with loads of cherry sauce and a scoop of standard vanilla flavoured icecream. I cant commrnt on the meat dishes but the vegan dishes is uninspiring, boring and out of date.

Top recommendation!!! Dropped in by chance and 150% satisfied. The ambience, whether outside, inside or upstairs: very cozy. And then the selection, you don't know where to start and where to end. The food itself was really excellent in taste and quality. And the best thing at last: everything really at fair prices. Thank you

In itself a restaurant with a nice atmosphere - there are lots of large plants inside and the tables are comfortably distributed on different levels. However, my companion and I waited for over half an hour and no one took our drink order, even though we tried desperately to make eye contact with various waiters. We then had to address the condition ourselves - otherwise we would probably have waited an hour like the family at the next table... The meal then took half an hour, my companion liked the pizza with Serano ham very well, my tarte flambée with goat cheese rather mediocre to bad and not really warm either. As I said, the mood at the next table was even worse, the pizza was probably cold and undercooked and other drinks that had been ordered were forgotten. Unfortunately, the staff also failed to respond in a de-escalatory manner and rather held out. Conclusion: Unfortunately disappointing and not recommended. 👎😯

The food isn't worth a star. We had a starter and 2 main courses. We had to wait about 45 minutes for the starter, which was then brought along with the main courses. The gluten-free tarte flambée was ultimately a gluten-free pizza base from the package. The gluten-free pasta was completely overcooked and the whole meal was pure pasta mush. When asked about this, they wanted to force a cup of coffee on us as compensation. When we said no, the surcharge for the gluten-free products worth €2.50 was waived on our bill. This cannot be surpassed in terms of impudence and customer unfriendliness. It is a grossly overpriced restaurant. Never again !!!

The atmosphere is nice, at least downstairs, but when it comes to food you have to order the right thing. We cannot recommend pizza or tarte flambée. For pizza, go to a real Italian restaurant with a stone oven. The prices are very expensive compared to other cities and, in our opinion, do not correspond to the quantity and quality that we are used to with such prices. I have a hard time giving it a 1 point rating, but to make matters worse, when we asked for the invoice we received an “intermediate invoice” without showing the VAT. Are taxes being evaded here or what is that? This is not appropriate, therefore not a recommendation.

We discovered this restaurant by chance. We were immediately very impressed by the facade, the green courtyard and the dining room in the restaurant. Even though it was very busy, we still got a table by the window. Atmosphere very inviting, cozy, Mediterranean, very well maintained and full of life! The food was amazing! Fresh, authentic, very good and nicely seasoned, it completely filled us up and not only filled us up! We recommend. Big compliment for this little taste journey!

A completely overwhelmed service that apologizes for being alone. There were only 3 tables occupied last night. The pizza was by far the worst I've ever been served. A completely carelessly thrown together creation from all sorts of things that was “refined” with ketchup. And at a really proud price. Absolutely not recommended!

We arrived here with our children spontaneously and without a reservation. We were asked to be patient because it was very busy. However, we didn't have to wait long, the children came first. The gnocchi with goat cheese was absolutely fantastic. When we are back in Wernigerode, we will definitely come back.

Ein ganz tolles Ambiente, einfach herrlich eingerichtet. Die Pizza mit Flammkuchenteig drunter ist aber gewöhnungsbedürftig. Es gibt sehr viel Auswahl in viele verschiedene Richtungen, aber die Preise sind schon der Hammer. Trotz allem, sehr nette Bedienung, schöne Einrichtung und wer nicht auf den Cent schauen muss und keine traditionelle deutsche Küche sucht, der fühlt sich hier richtig wohl.

Super friendly service, nice, cozy atmosphere. Salad was sensational and the gnocci were outstanding. The “Maria” limo completely convinced us. The ingredients are very high quality and the preparation is professional. We can only warmly recommend this restaurant!

We discovered this little restaurant while walking through town. We were impressed by the vegan and gluten-free versions. It was then a must to eat here. So today it was penne with chicken breast. Everything is simply delicious. But I was missing some parmesan here.

The menu has been revised again...so definitely stop by, especially if you want to eat vegan or vegetarian! We sat outside in the beer garden. Was very pleasant and quiet. Food came relatively quickly and was very tasty.

Small, beautifully decorated restaurant with good, fresh cuisine. The menu offers a great selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes and an excellent selection of drinks. Our homemade pasta and pizza were excellent.

Unfortunately the food wasn't that good. The pizza doesn't deserve the name. Chewy, leathery dough. I only put some cheese on the few mini salami slices. All in all, an unreasonable price for 15 euros. We would have preferred any frozen pizza. The gnocci were tough, heavy on the stomach dough that had nothing to do with fresh, Mediterranean cuisine. We were really looking forward to a vegetarian dish. I let my gnocci go back. Just get full, don't enjoy it. For us (4 adults, 3 children) it was an absolute culinary failure. Ambience and services ensure 2*.

The “pizza” was a failure. Dough was strange, like a ready-made dough or wrap dough, not baked long enough (we sent it back into the oven) and overall small. The whole thing for just under €15. Overall, the food was okay, but so unreasonably overpriced that it almost gets stuck in your throat. Service and atmosphere were very nice, toys for babies were available.

Even though the service and the ambience were very good, I think €18 for a few lettuce leaves with 5 chicken strips is really too expensive. I can imagine spending a nice evening there just drinking, but the food was really disappointing.

Cozy restaurant, very nice and courteous service. The menu is a bit overambitious. (Salads, for example, only come with bells and whistles like mango and pomegranate seeds. I had salad and pizza. That was ok. But: Prices like the expensive Italian restaurant in Munich. I give the bad rating because of the overpriced prices. (14.50 for a much too small pizza with onions and mushrooms.

Wir waren zu dritt essen, die Pizzen waren sehr lecker. Auch die Kinderpizza war groß genug. Leider stimmten die Preise auf der Karte nicht mit denen auf der Rechnung überein, ein Preisunterschied von 0,80 bis 1,20 Euro pro Pizza. Aber das Ambiente war gut und die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Vielleicht sollte mal die Karte mit den Preisen in der Kasse abgeglichen werden.

We were really unlucky. Salmon, pasta with cherry tomatoes and rocket but only the salmon was well fried, otherwise tasteless. The penne was quite ordinary but still the tastiest. The pizza dough was underground, as if it had just been thawed. The onions and peppers were raw. We also spent 1.20 hours waited for our food. At the end there was a 20% discount and a free drink which was nice. The service was very accommodating.

If you want delicious Italian food, you shouldn't eat here! Everything was done with attention to detail and the service was very friendly. But waiting more than an hour for food that isn't tasty ruins any night we want to spend hard-earned money on a great night out. Then next time you should go to your favorite Italian restaurant...

Yay, gluten-free is on the menu here, although there is an additional charge for dishes. The surcharge was €2.50 per gluten-free dish for pizza and tarte flambée. There was also loose peppermint tea in a tea infuser in a nice pot. I can also recommend the apple cinnamon ice cream with pomegranate (gluten-free without strudel). We really enjoyed it here. The staff was very nice and attentive. We'd love to come back.

Delicious 😋 in a beautiful, originally renovated old half-timbered house

One star is still too many! We waited over an hour for our food. The pizza came lukewarm (reason: “There is no room for a heat lamp in the kitchen.”), the fries were unseasoned and not quite cooked, but hot. But a layer of oil quickly collected on the plate under the fries. The tables are far too narrow and sometimes you can't even move backwards to stand up comfortably. It is very loud. Gluten-free dishes are offered. Caution! I had the gf chocolate crumble, which turned out to be a crumbled piece of chocolate cake (not advertised as gf). My children had one like that. It tasted exactly the same. Stop once crumbled and once in one piece. I also can't believe that cooking can be done without contamination in such a small kitchen when there isn't even room for a heat lamp. But that's just a guess. As a celiac, I wouldn't eat there again. My husband ate the crumble.

We called to make a reservation for ten people at short notice. Not possible (closed society) okay... When we asked for just ONE gluten-free dish "to go" (necessary for the person for medical reasons) this was also not possible. It was simply hung up...

Yesterday I had dinner with friends at Casa Vita. The menu is very extensive, not run of the mill and there is something for everyone. Food intolerances are taken into account here. The drinks menu is also impressive. The food was very tasty and attractively prepared. What made us very happy was the great service! Happy, friendly and unobtrusive. After joking that only the wicker chairs were uncomfortable, we were immediately given seat cushions with a smile. We would like to say to the boss: Congratulations on your team!

Wor waren zum Silvester- Abendessen dort

Wir haben unseren Silvesterabend hier verbracht. Es war der Hammer. Das Essen hat so super lecker geschmeckt, die Getränke waren lecker und das ganze Ambiente einfach nur toll. Wir freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch. Weiter so. Und alles Gute.

Ich habe selten so gut gegessen.Eine tolle Speisekarte.Wir waren mit 5 Personen zum Essen da und alle waren begeistert.Guter und freundlicher Service.

Sehr gemütliches, nettes Restaurant mit gutem Essen, auch vegan und glutenfrei möglich. Unseren jugendlichen "Kindern" hat es auch sehr gut gefallen und geschmeckt, allerdings wären ihnen die Portionen etwas zu klein. Insgesamt aber sehr empfehlenswert.

Leider muss ich sagen war ich nicht so begeistert, wie andere, mit denen ich geredet habe. Preis-Leistung hat nicht gepasst. Trotz Vorauswahl 2 Tage vorher, mussten wir 1,25 Std. auf unser Essen warten. Ich hatte eine "Pizza". Die war wiederum mit Flammkuchenteig gemacht, was für mich leider nicht passte, die Kombination, nein. Dessert war mit Blätterteig, der sollte eigentlich etwas knuspriger sein, blättern, war leider pappig. Auch bei zwei, drei von meinen Bekannten hat das Essen leider nicht wirklich überzeugt. Was dann aber der absolute Knaller war, ich habe es leider erst am nächsten Tag festgestellt. Bei 3 Posten von meiner Rechnung wurde mir mehr abgezogen, wie eigentlich in der Karte steht. So kann man sich auch mal selber Trinkgeld geben. Und ich möchte dann nicht gerade wissen bei wie vielen von meinen Bekannten das auch war. Was auch nicht schön war, das der Chef bei zwei Dingen, die ihm nicht passten, die Augen verdreht.

Während eines Kurzurlaubs haben wir gestern dieses Restaurant besucht. Von Zuhause aus haben wir bereits einen Tisch reserviert und die nette Mitarbeiterin auch um einen guten Platz gebeten, da wir unseren Hochzeitstag dort begangen haben. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und bekamen einen wunderbaren Tisch zugewiesen, der vom Personal so liebevoll gestaltet wurde. Damit hat man uns eine große Freude bereitet. Die Speisenauswahl ist hervorragend und für jeden Geschmack ist sicher etwas dabei. Wir haben sehr gut gespeist, haben den angenehmen und freundlichen Service genossen und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank nochmals.

Essen sehr gut, Service unterschiedlich, bei uns wurde die Suppe vergessen. Für das Benehmen der Gäste kann das Restaurant nichts. Unseren reservierten Tisch könnten wir nicht einnehmen, da der grosse Hund vom Nebentisch dort lag. Beim Ersatzsitz kamen dann unmittelbar daneben zwei Damen, die ununterbrochen per Handy mit einer größeren Gruppe so laut telefonierten, dass bei uns eine Unterhaltung nicht möglich war. Wir haben das Lokal gewechselt und werden von weiteren Reservierungen absehen.

Ein kleines gemütliches Restaurant mit sehr viel Charme. Die wirklich interessante Speisenauswahl bietet verschiedene leckere Gerichte, sowohl mit Fleisch als auch vegetarisch. Besonders begeistert waren wir auch vom Personal, welches trotz vollem Geschäft immer flott und vor allem sehr nett und freundlich unterwegs war. Auch unsere kleine Tochter findet es hier toll, weil es neben der süßen Spielecke auch bei der Dekoration immer etwas interessantes zu sehen gibt. Wir werden wohl bei jedem Besuch in Wernigerode wieder kommen.

Es ist und bleibt mein Lieblingsrestaurant in Wernigerode! Gerichte sind lecker, für jeden Geschmack findet sich etwas! Manchmal muss man Zeit und Geduld mitbringen, denn gerade am Wochenende ist es gut besucht, aber wenn man frisch zubereitete Gerichte haben möchte, sollte eine Wartezeit drin sein😉 Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen!!!!

Sehr netter Service und ein gemütliches Ambiente. Das Essen leider durchschnittlich. Ich habe Pasta Gambaretti bestellt. Pesto Rosso war kaum zu schmecken. Die Garnellenmenge war gering. Es hat an Gewürzen gefehlt.

Das Lokal hat eine sehr schöne Innenausstattung, und die Bedienung lockert die Atmosphäre auf, welches den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm macht. Mahlzeiten können für den Preis klein ausfallen, aber weisen eine gute Qualität und sind Geschmackslich einzigartig. Von Einzigartigkeit gesprochen; hier gibt es Getränke und Speisen, welche wir soweit noch nicht in der Stadt vorfanden.

Da es uns so gefallen hat, waren wir heute also 1 Tag später wieder hier essen. Das Team ist einfach nur toll und mega eingespielt. Und es war wieder super lecker. Wir konnten uns zum Schluss auch noch super nett mit der Kellnerin unterhalten. Danke dafür. Dieses gemütliche Lokal ist nur zu empfehlen. Die Einrichtung geht in die Richtung italienisch und ist absolut gemütlich. Das Essen ist mediterran und sehr lecker, auch nicht nach Standard Rezepten gemacht. Die Auswahl ist ausreichend, so das jeder was findet. Die Bedienung super freundlich und immer mit einem Lächeln unterwegs. Man bekommt die Speisen gut erklärt wenn man Fragen dazu hat. Empfehlen kann ich die Pizza Gigante und auch die Bruschetta. Gute Auswahl an verschiedenen Weinen . Lädt auf jeden Fall zu gemütlichen Abend ein. Danke für die tolle Zeit. Essen sehr lecker. Waren vor ca. 1 Jahr das letzte Mal hier, da waren die Portionen noch größer. Am besten man nimmt eine Vorspeise, damit man satt wird. Service aber top.

Sehr schöne Location. Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Essen und Cocktails waren sehr lecker. Kommen jedes Jahr gerne wieder!

Sehr phantasievoll eingerichtet, sehr schöne Farben und Deko in einem alten Fachwerkhaus mit Oberlichtern. Das Essen ist frisch und lecker (nur die Pizza sah nicht so professionell aus und wird hier nicht gelobt…) Der Service ist sehr nett und aufmerksam. Die Auswahl der Weine ist absolut gelungen. Insgesamt eine klare Empfehlung.
