Homemade pasta. Super delicious.

It was my first time here after hearing so many good things about it. However, my experience was rather average. The owner (?) assumes that everyone who comes in already knows exactly how things work, so we didn't feel completely welcomed. Only after we had to ask for everything did he explain to us that there are only two dishes to choose from, something different every day, one vegetarian and one non-vegetarian. With the drinks, we were also asked if we wanted to share, which we confusedly declined. In the end, we were served two 0.5l plastic bottles of juice. That was somehow very unromantic and could have been served directly in a nice glass. We had spaghetti with an orange and lemon sauce and rigatoni puttanesca, for which we were given the ingredients. What was strange here was that anchovies were also listed (we love anchovies), and then he immediately added that you couldn't taste the anchovies at all – what a bummer. And that's exactly how it turned out. Unfortunately, the pasta tasted only okay. The pasta itself was just like regular pasta, not homemade Italian pasta, and cooked far too soft, far from al dente. The sauces were also very mildly seasoned. A shame. Absolutely nothing special and far from authentic homemade Italian pasta. And that for a whopping €15 per pasta dish. I might go back to compare it with another dish, but unfortunately, I didn't think it was worth the hype.

As soon as you enter, you feel in an Italian Osteria. The food is good. You don't have much choice which make the place more genuine. Prices are in line with the style of the place. I would highly recommend you to go and try this resturant. Italian approved!

Very disappointed with this restaurant, the pasta was OK, nothing more. Only two dishes to choose from at lunchtime and no price displayed. For these two dishes (cheese ravioli and zucchini pasta), a beer and water, 38 euros!!!!! Exorbitant and unjustified. Value for money to be reviewed urgently!!!! The rather large table next door received their dishes in two batches, half of the guests had already finished their plate when the second party received their dishes. Mind-blowing.

The food here is unique and you definitely have to stop by! The quality is very high, and the ingredients are excellent. Fresh, homemade, and seasonal👍 There's always something new on the menu, about two or three dishes, which you can find on Facebook. So if you're a pasta lover in Mannheim, you shouldn't miss this. You might also want to plan ahead, as the opening hours are very limited :) The staff and the ambiance are a great fit, and I always enjoy coming here ☺️

I've known the owner through Brkannte for about 5 years, and she's always so aggressive. Now I am, too. Strangely, she was always a sweet angel to the men. Hmmmm. Cooooooomical. I'm writing this because I'm really full of energy these days, and how long can I tolerate her missteps, and from now on, her family members, in the kitchen? My partner told me today I should just finally write a review after having SO MANY bad experiences with her in so many different situations. Recent examples: Yesterday we came in, and 10 minutes before closing, she passive-aggressively slapped me in the face... that it was closed (even though it had been open for another 10 minutes and the shop was full!? What's she kicking us out for?!?!?) TODAY: We came in, and they wrote on the door that the kitchen closes 30 minutes before closing. So 2:30 p.m.!? 3:00 p.m. - 12:30 a.m. = 2:30 p.m. We get there at 2:20 p.m. and they send us away again, insisting that they'll be closing 45 minutes earlier. No mercy. And again, so cheeky. The chef came out looking so confused by the whole thing and looked at his own sign and said, "Hmm, let's see when they change it!" I hope at least for once something improves after a bad experience! Because all the times before, she was incapable of learning how to be nice to a young woman she didn't know without giving off passive-aggressive vibes and then immediately afterward charmingly throwing a joke at the next man sitting next to her. ......

The staff was really very nice and you immediately felt at home. The food was also very tasty, but not suitable for every budget. The quality is of course good and definitely made with love, 15 euros for a not-so-large portion of pasta (by my standards) is a bit too expensive. But of course that is only due to my personal financial situation and Hunher :)

This place is a gem! The red pesto was delicious. 🍝 I'm visiting from USA, but I'll be back before I leave Mannheim. 😋

Since I've only heard good things, I went there today during my lunch break. Two dishes, small selection of drinks, EC payment possible. Lady of the house snappy, taciturn and no smile, but that's ok. A rough tone with colleagues. What I didn't like was the narrowness of the space and the volume. Individually, it doesn't do anything for my break; I wouldn't have been able to enjoy the food or the lunch break. Because of this, I had my food packed and fell on my bottom when I paid EUR 18 for 0.33 liters of cola plus spaghetti, vegetarian, with rocket, tomato sugo, parmesan. Maybe I don't know anything about real, homemade pasta, but I've eaten ultra delicious pasta and find it expensive & don't feel comfortable there. (Addendum, since the lady of the house reacted. True, the rooms are visible from the outside, and yet the view through the window front does not replace the actual experience. No, I don't expect any intimate conversations with the staff. Correct, I overlooked the price of the pasta, which doesn't change my opinion. Yes, I didn't remember the contents of the Coke bottle correctly. Sorry. And since I don't want to make a joke out of this review, a note; I don't rate "bad" out of a whim, I give mine opinion again.)

Unglaublich sympathisch & lecker! Absolut authentisch! Ein kleiner Lunch-Ausflug nach bella Italia - tolle Pasta!!!

Rarely have I had such delicious pasta.

There’s super delicious homemade pasta here! The service is courteous and personal. Refreshingly uncomplicated restaurant. You sit outside surrounded by lots of greenery. For me as a resident, it's a real asset to the neighborhood! Thank you!!

Very expensive for what is offered. There are only 2 pasta dishes. No map. The noodles are homemade and also taste very good. But unfortunately the dishes lack any sophistication. No decoration whatsoever. No herbs for refinement. This is how we cook at home when things have to be done quickly. The Parmesan tasted old and was sprinkled on before serving. So you have no influence on the quantity. The service is nice but rather poor. When asked about lemon with mineral water, the cool saying came. “So Ferz hamma ned” 👍 Ambience pretty simple. No tablecloths. This at a price of 15 euros for a plate of spaghetti. Price performance is not right for me at all.

I think the concept with “only” two dishes, but everything is freshly prepared, is really great!

In diesem familiengeführten kleinen Restaurant gibt es keine Karte, sondern leckere Antipasti in der Vitrine und als Hauptgericht täglich zwei verschiedene Nudelgerichte, eins davon vegetarisch. Nicht nur die Soßen, auch die Nudeln sind selbstgemacht und das schmeckt man! Wir saßen gestern draußen, die von mir ausgesuchten Vorspeisen kamen auf einer schönen Platte, dazu frisches Weißbrot. Die Nudelgerichte danach kamen zügig und waren sehr gut. Die Getränkekarte ist übersichtlich, aber es gibt alles, was man braucht - Apfelschorle, Wein, Wasser, und Cola. Auch ein Dessert wurde in der Vitrine angeboten. Wir wurden freundlich bedient und alles hat gepasst. Wir werden sicher wieder kommen.

Very friendly and very tasty food. I've been there several times and it's always a pleasure. There are only ever two dishes on the menu. But every time something different was really delicious.

It's brave to only offer two dishes to choose from - but it suggests freshness. Taste very good, pasta wonderfully al dente (is rare)! Very nice service. To check out you are asked to go inside to the counter, which I found a bit irritating at first. In retrospect, I came to the conclusion that it shows a certain level of self-confidence - and rightly so! Very happy again!

Friendly and attentive service, good house wine and good food. There is no menu to be found online, as there are only two daily specials in addition to antipasti and dessert. The food is good quality, but relatively simple for the price of €14 per plate. The atmosphere could be nicer, but all in all it was a nice evening

Die Gerichte sind immer lecker und echt italienisch. Die Preise sind nur mittlerweile für meinen Geschmack etwas zu hoch für das Ambiente und die einfachen Gerichte.

Jeden Tag andere Gerichte als Tagesgerichte. Alles mit hausgemachten Italienischen Pasta. Toller Hauswein, selbstgemachte leckere Desserts. Tolle italienische Familie, die dieses Familienrestaurant führt. Wenn man mit Groll und Ärger in ein Restaurant geht, um seinen Ärger Luft zu machen, sollte man lieber Zuhause bleiben und sich paar Eier in die Pfanne hauen, anstatt dieses tolle Familienrestaurant in schlechtem Licht darzustellen, was nicht der Realität entspricht. Nach vielen Besuchen kann ich ausnahmslos sagen, dass es in weitem Umkreis keine bessere Pasta gibt. Tolles Konzept, überraschend und abwechslungsreich. Auch die Antipasti ist ein Traum. Macht bitte immer weiter so!

Absolute 10von10! Die Pasta war ausgezeichnet und der nette Herr der uns bediehnt hat, hat sich zeit genommen und war sehr zuvorkommend. Wären die Öffnungszeiten nicht so begrenzt, würde ich warscheinlich zwei mal am Tag dort essen gehen. Empfehle ich gerne weiter!!

Aussergewöhnlich und einmalig in Mannheim. Wenn geöffnet, dann zwei perfekte Gerichte nach Original Rezept. Es fällt schwer sich für Vegetarisch oder das ändere Italienische Mahl zu entscheiden. Mir lockt das Essen meistens Gänsehaut hervor, wo gut schmeckts. Personal und Eigentümer angenehm und super nett. Ist eigentlich ein Geheimtipp, aber ich verrate es Euch nicht 😆

P/L stimmt überhaupt nicht. Für so ein paar Nudeln mit Diavolo Sauce zur Mittagszeit 13 € zu verlangen grenzt an Unverschämtheit. Service ist top, die Leute sind total nett. Ich werde trotzdem nicht mehr hingehen.

Ich mag die leckere selbstgemachte Pasta und gehe hier gerne zum Essen hin. Es gibt wechselnde Gerichte und es hat mir bei jedem Besuch sehr gut geschmeckt! Also bis zum nächsten Mal ☺️

Fantastisches Essen. Es hat uns bisher immer allen sehr gut geschmeckt und hatten noch nie etwas zu beanstanden. Zudem ist alles hausgemacht! Der Laden ist sehr beliebt (verständlich). Daher besser reservieren.

Wie in Italien. Sehr familiäre Atmosphäre und sehr gutes Essen

Top Restaurant! So leckere Nudeln und mal ganz was anderes, dass man nur zwei Gerichte zur Auswahl hat, aber es schmeckt alles super, von demher kein Problem :) Antipasti auch sehr zu empfehlen! Das Einzige was ich nicht top finde ist, dass die Tische relativ eng gestellt sind.

Obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen und bekamen einen Tisch zugewiesen. Es gab 2 Pastagerichte zur Auswahl. Unsere Wahl war sehr gut und es hat uns hervorragend geschmeckt. Auch der Hauswein war sehr lecker. Das einfache, aber gemütliche Lokal ist gut besucht, was wir aufgrund des wirklich guten und frischen Essens und des tollen Services nachvollziehen können. Wir waren voll und ganz zufrieden.

Uncomplicated people and food for a really homely feel. This place is like an extension of our own home, just with better food. I suspect a lot of the people eating there are regulars. One is treated like family, there are always two choices for pasta and they are excellent. Special plates, cups and cuttlery for kids, as well as a pillow so they can sit higher on the chair. Our kids love going there and always scream in excitement as we announce it.

Weltbeste, selbstgemachte Pasta in Mannheim. Vor allem seit Covid und HomeOffice kommen wir mindestens einmal die Woche zum Mittag und es ist immer fantastisch lecker!

Tolle Nudeln und sehr guter Service. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Authentische, wundervolle italienische Küche. Kleines, liebevoll geführtes Familienrestaurant mit täglich wechselndes, frischen zwei Hauptspeisen. Der Vorspeisenteller ist ein Muss, dazu gibt es eine kleine Auswahl an Desserts. Wir wurden noch nie enttäuscht und nehmen trotz Umzug regelmäßig 40 km (einfach) auf uns, um hier zu essen. Reservierung empfiehlt sich!

Best selfmade Pasta in town! Top Italienisches Familienrestaurant mit persönlichem Flair und sehr fairen Preisen. Allerdings immer nur 2 Gerichte zur Auswahl, davon eins vegetarisch. Aber super lecker. Verzicht auf große Karte ist einfach ein Mehr an Qualität, auch bei den Weinen. Top Hauswein und mit 3,50€ für 0,2 Glas top preiswert.

Beste Pasta in ganz Mannheim. Nettes Personal und tolle Atmosphäre. Wärmste s zu empfehlen.

Freundlicher Service von zwei äußerst aufmerksamen Damen. Gereicht wird sofort frisches Weißbrot. Dann kommt der Genuss: Pasta fatty a Casa freechissimo e preparato al dente!!! Besser gehts nicht!

Ein hervorragender familiärer Laden in den ich seit Jahren zum Essen gehe. Ich muss nochmals eine Bewertung schreiben, weil es ist einfach großartig so ein Lokal in Mannheim zu haben. Sogar in Corona Zeiten, kann man sich tolle Antipasti und frische selbstgemachte Nudeln besorgen. Ein großes Kompliment und ein frohes neues Jahr 2021!!!

Im Casa della Pasta gibt es die beste Pasta weit und breit. Die wenigen negativen Kommentare bezüglich der freundlichkeit des Personals kann ich beim besten willen nicht verstehen. Vielleicht trifft hier das Sprichwort: "Wie es in den Wald hineinruft so schallt es heraus" ja zu... Die Portionen sind üppig und für den Preis vollkommen ok.

Sehr toller und authentischer Service. Direkt und unaufgesetzt. Hervorragende Pasta und tolles Konzept mit täglich wechselnden Speisen. Pasta war auf den Punkt, Portion war sehr sättigend und der Preis absolut angebracht. Wir kommen wieder!
